Fantastic experience: I cannot recommend Smiley Dental Waltham highly enough! When I first called this location, I was in need of an emergency root canal and was scheduled to leave the state for a vacation within the next few days. Realizing the urgency, Jenny got me in for an appointment within an hour of calling for a root canal and temporary crown, so that I could quickly be out of pain and still go on my trip as planned. The staff at Smiley Dental went above and beyond to give me the very best service. Dr. Pathan is an exceptional provider who truly cares for her patients. She performed the root canal beautifully, and provided guidance on getting caps for my front teeth, which were cracking due to osteopenia. Mary is a phenomenal assistant as well. She is so sweet and truly loves helping people. For the first time in my life, I looked forward to going back to the dentist and got my caps put on shortly after my vacation. Jenny very graciously helped me create a financial plan that worked for me and they were able to provide me with a discount, so that I could get the care I needed without having to worry about being able to afford it. Thanks to Smiley Dental, my teeth look better than they have in decades, and I feel confident in my smile again! I’m so grateful to the entire team. They truly make their patients feel like family, which is so rare these days. After years of having a dentist that made me feel inferior for the state of my teeth and for having a health insurance he didn’t like to deal with, I can finally say I have found a new home for all my dental needs at Smiley Dental Waltham! Fantastic experience: As someone who's recently developed a fear and became petrified of of the dentist in recent years .. I've made appointments here then chickened out and finally mustered up the courage to get the stuff done needed with my teeth and when I could not be more pleased with how calm they made me feel constantly checking on me while doing different things to my teeth.. I ended up needing to come for quite a few appointments and they were always very good in squeezing me in if needed etc also Jenny at the front desk is beyond phenomenal! I highly highly recommend this dental office so much so that not only did I start coming here but my cousin and uncle did as well And they always tried to get us appointments around the same time or one after the other one needed! Also this place is beyond clean which is a very important thing!!

Fantastic experience: I am someone who is terrified of dentists, and Smiley Dental proved to me that good dentists and dental staff do exist. I had a filling pop out and they scheduled me for 2 days out to get it filled. I was in and out within 30 minutes with my replacement filling. I felt the staff truly cared about my fear and pain and they did a wonderful job of limiting the discomfort I had. If you are scared of dentists, try this place out.

Fantastic experience: I usually don’t do reviews but this place was extraordinary! I was amazed how quickly they were able to get us in. My mom and dad had their dentures done here. Jenny was amazing at coordinating appointments and working with our timeline. The dental hygienists were so warm and just pleasure to see every time we went. Dr Pathan was amazing! She had us come back multiple times to make sure the dentures are just right. We really appreciated their flexibility and professionalism all around. Can’t recommend this place enough!

Fantastic experience: I had to find a dentist out of my normal area and have probably the worst anxiety about dental work as anyone could have. From the receptionist Jenny at the front desk to the dental assistant, Yousma who made me calm from the first interaction, that means so much when you have severe anxiety about dental procedures, and especially Dr. Pathan who is the nicest, most compassionate , understanding dentist I have ever had. I have had "multiple" visits to repair work done previously that didn't last, this is the best dental practice I have ever been to. I have had more discomfort during cleanings at other practices than I had during multiple root canals here with this dentist. Absolutely NO PAIN thru all the work and have been treated with patience and understanding of my overall "fear" of dental work. I am also having a partial denture replaced that I lost and that process has also been excellent so far. I will update this review when the partial is finished but I'm expecting nothing but the best, what I've already received for everything else from this great dental practice. A definite 5 star dental practice.

I went in for a root canal treatment, which can be nerve-wracking, but Dr. Nazia Pathan completely changed that experience for me. Dr. Nazia made me feel extremely comfortable from the very beginning. She is incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and professional. The entire procedure was done with zero pain, extra care, and absolute precision. Her expertise and calm approach gave me so much confidence, and everything was explained clearly. You can truly tell she knows her work inside and out and genuinely cares about her patients. She did an outstanding job everything was done perfectly. A big thank you as well to Yuzma, who assisted Dr. Nazia during my treatment. Yuzma was very kind, attentive, and supportive throughout the process. Fantastic experience: This place is amazing! I’ve tried many times at my clinic to fix my molars but they never did due to my dentophobia. These guys on the other hand had much patience, charisma, and are very professional. They helped relax me and helped with my phobia and fixed my molars.

Negative experience: Dr. Pathan did not send me for a special x-ray to find an interior crack in my tooth. Now I have a massive infection that caused my face to be swollen and the pain intolerable. Sitting in an ER now. Hoping they can stop the infection from entering my brain. I will be looking for a new DMD after this crisis is resolved.

Negative experience: Long wait time even with an appointment, especially annoying when time off is taken from work. The reason for my visit was made clear when the apt was made (took 2 weeks). When she finally got me me, did a quick exam and said it was too late to do anything. Next available appointment is in 2-3 weeks Reception (J) was great as always, only reason for 2 stars instead of 1. Thankfully there are more accessible and accommodating practitioners in the area.

From the support staff to the dental hygienist, everyone is very friendly and efficient (fully bilingual in at least Spanish and English, perhaps other languages but those are the only ones I know). The dentist, Dr. N.Pathan is equally awesome - she’s thorough in her work and her explanations and takes her time to get every detail right while being very efficient. I have been here twice and have always been seen promptly at my appointment time. The office is very nicely decorated and very clean and I felt very comfortable there. Highly recommend !!

Fantastic experience: I finally found somewhere where I feel comfortable and happy bringing my kids get there dental care. Trust me when I tell you that they actually make you feel welcomed. You come in and they greet you with a smile and they get to know you. Also they speak Spanish!!!!! I have had really bad experiences at other dental places, but here I feel good and safe. Took the xrays,doctor came few minutes later we even changed few words in Spanish because they do speak Spanish and english,that was for me much better, because my primary language is Spanish. Fantastic experience: I'm an orginal patient of the Roslindale location and I was forced to transferred to the Waltham location due to personal family reasons. I was going to leave Smiley Dental all together due to the distance of the Waltham location but after the care I received today, I'm not going anywhere. After leaving the office today I purposely called back to thanked them for their services. Although I do miss Dr. Rhea at the Roslindale office, the customer service and the quality of care I receive at the Waltham office is top notch.. Thank you again!!
