Positive experience: Been here a handful of times with only good things to say. However, my last appointment I was informed at the front desk that the dentists weren’t in. Only the hygienist. That’s like going for a health visit with only nurses and no doctors. I was told I should make another appointment in 6-months to get a proper exam. Hate to say it but I’m a once-a-year kind of guy.

Fantastic experience: I was a patient here for several years when I lived nearby. The staff is very friendly and kind, and were very reassuring when I was nervous about getting a filling. Dr. Hoang was very communicative. I always felt like I was in good hands there.

Positive experience: I went here for 5 years. The cleaning service was good but I’ve had 2 other excellent dentists, one prior to coming to Vast and now a new one. During my time at Vast Dental I was consulted on many procedures/issues that my other dentists never mentioned. Even with my new dentist, I’ve brought up the issues that Vast had pointed out and the response has been that those aren’t legitimate concerns. Makes me pause and think about if they were making genuine recommendations or doing it for other reasons.

Fantastic experience: Exceptional Dental Practice! Dr. Hoang is a top notch technician, a clear and careful communicator, and a kind person. Fafane, the dental hygienist whom I see at each visit is fabulous. Just like Dr. Hoang, she is technically excellent, sensitive to patient reactions, and has a delightful personality. Allison, one of the administrative staff, was patient, knowledgeable, and on top of all her details. This practice is notable for its intellectually and socially intelligent staff. It is the best dental practice I've seen in the area.

Dr. Hoang and her lovely staff have been extremely warm, professional and transparent throughout each situation, and believe me, there have been many! They are always patient and they listen to my concerns. Dr. Hoang and her dedicated staff, who I adore, always work closely with me to come up with the best care plan for each of my issues. And, they are so compassionate when I’m going through my treatments. On many occasions Dr. Hoang has personally called me after a procedures to check in on me. In a time when customer care seems to be dwindling Vast Dental is a breath of fresh air! I am grateful to have Dr. Hoang for my Dentist and I would highly recommend Vast Dental to anyone! ❤️

Fantastic experience: I have been a regular patient of Vast Dental since 2017, and I cannot recommend this practice enough. Dr. Hoang is incredible. Going to the dentist can be an overwhelming experience for some, but Dr. Hoang is patient, kind, and explains dental procedures and ongoing concerns in a way that makes me feel at ease and comfortable asking questions. With her, I know I am in good hands. In terms of hygienists, I highly recommend Steph. She is amazing and just like Dr. Hoang she is very kind and patient. Lastly, every single front office staff member I have interacted with over the years, whether I am booking/confirming appointments or understanding treatment plans and payment, has been extremely professional and helpful.

I will never go to a different dentist. Dr. Hoang and the staff are awesome, and I now consider my smile partly theirs. (After all, they made it what it is now) And please, please, PLEASE take care of your teeth!! Much as I love Vast Dental, I wish I hadn't needed them so much. But boy, am I glad I found them!!

Positive experience: I was going to another dentist for about 25 years before going to Vast Dental. So I was nervous and skeptical. But after a couple of visits, Dr. Hoang has earned my trust. She is very good in her work, nice to talk to and listens to your concerns patiently. She explains the problems and the procedure with the help of X-rays. So you can see it for yourself. I liked how they use modern technology and equipment to do their jobs. The other people who worked on me were also very nice professionals. The only issue I have with Vast is that the prices are on the higher side and they ask for full payment upfront.

Fantastic experience: A former co-worker referred me to Vast Dental when I first moved to the area. It is always a very nice experience and they do a great job of explaining what’s going on!

Negative experience: I have been a client with Vast for 7 years and can say the quality of the service and customer support has declined strongly. It used to be five stars and always a great experience but for the past year, it hasn't been a good experience. I got an email to reschedule my appointment because of internal issues and the rescheduled appointment was 1 month after original one, which was insulting. They also told me I'd need to pay a fee if I cancelled. They used to give bags with toothbrush and toothpaste after every visit, now they don't. They used to make good clinical assessments, now I have to get second opinions. I hope management reads this, because as a client for 7 years, don't know how many more time I will be a client.

Negative experience: This used to be a great dental office and we were very loyal with our family of 8 until they got greedy and try to charge for everything possible such as being unable to make an appt although you’re sick and will send you to collections if you don’t return to their office even though we did not have a balance at our last visit but all of a sudden that we don’t want to return, we get hit with fees we did not know about. They told us they would not charge us as long as my husband went in and he did . Stay away from this place! Quite disappointed as they are close to our home. I will post on social media platforms as well as yelp and wherever I can to get this information out about our experience. They will also urge you and push you for deep cleanings that “you really need” and “crowns or root canals” That I “really need” when I didn’t have any teeth issues or complaints when I was only going in for a routine teeth cleaning.

Negative experience: Used to be a great dental office. Never again after getting an email about collections about a balance that I did not have at my last visit. We will dispute it. Beware! In the process of finding a new dental office that is more community friendly like they used to be. They will try to sell you procedures that need to be done as soon as possible and it’s gotten worse as they have expanded.

Fantastic experience: The VAST team is excellent! They took good care of me when I visited them for several of my dental issues. The practitioners are all very knowledgable and are very thorough in both their work as well as in walking me through all the work I needed for the issues I was having with my teeth. Highly recommend this clinic.

Fantastic experience: Been going here for 4 years and have enjoyed my experience. Fafane is the best hygienist, very gentle and a warm presence. The front desk is one of my favorite teams-- they're always so welcoming and sweet! Makes it easy to call and do the logistical things with their office. Just had a filling redone today by Dr. Jones and she was quick and skilled. I'm consistently amazed by the organization, communication, and professionalism of this office and would recommend to anyone. Parking is a bit sparse but I've never had a problem with their two patient spots and free street parking.

Fantastic experience: Update: Sadly, I moved 1 and 3/4 hours away. BUT, I travel to see her, because she is that good. Yesterday, I had a painless 1+ hour surgery + prep for a crown tomorrow that she made on site. The whole experience was completely painless --novacaine to the end. At one point, I almost fell asleep. I was sore afterwards when the novacaine wore off. But less pain than I expected. It was easily managed with a1200 Mg of acetaminophen. My personal experience this morning? Just swellling and some tenderness, but no pain. After my updated review I am off to go out on a totally normal day. Now you know why I go 170 miles round trip. 6 years ago. To say I am satisfied with Dr Hoang's handling of my very complex case is a true understatement! I have always had too many dental problems since my first ever visit to a dentist for an emergency drainage of an abscessed tooth to my experience now with VAST Dental. What a way to terrify a kid from ever visiting a dentist ever again on that first experience. I kept with it though fear always tagging along. And I cannot count the number of dentists I have had over my long life including recent work at one of the dental schools downtown Boston - which I cannot endorse. Speaking of children; on a recent emergency visit to VAST to repair a bridge, one of her associates, Pedro, was with a very young upset child, perhaps her first time at a dentist office. As I listened to their interaction it was very clear that the little girl would probably never be afraid to see a dentist for the rest of her life. This is an example of the excellence of Dr Hoang's whole team, skilled and professional and yet warm. They clearly enjoy their work as two of them sometime hum as they worked on my teeth. I believe Dr. Hoang's intuitive skills developed a plan of many parts for me to finally solve a lifetime of problems. By the way don't be fooled by the name VAST. It's not some sort of large business or franchise. VAST comes from the first initials of her family. I had wondered that too and recently asked. Sounding corny, I'd say, "Bring your whole family down to see VAST ". Fun aside you won't go wrong.

Fantastic experience: I am very thankful to Dr. Hoang and Fernanda. I usually don’t write reviews. But I had an infected tooth that needed attention. Yesterday, they were so busy, but Dr. Hoang and Fernanda worked hard to get me in that day and fix the problem. Dr. Hoang was great at explaining what needed to be done and why. In addition, throughout the procedure, she was caring and kind. She could sense I was stressed. Which I was. Lol. And she put me at ease. I also have to give a shout out to Fernanda for working hard for me to be able to get this procedure done that day. She also helped me go over all the logistics in a clear manner so I knew exactly the financial and insurance aspects to getting things done. I left with a great sense of peace that the procedure was done and I have a plan moving forward to take care of my teeth (which I was putting off…hence infected tooth). Anyway. Thanks again Vast dental and your team. I’m so happy I walked thru your doors for my dental care. See you in a couple weeks for my cleaning.

Fantastic experience: I'm very grateful for Vast Dental. I used an online teeth straightening service and reached out to Vast in a panic when my top retainer broke. They were able to see me within 48 hours and had my new retainer to me in less than 7 days. I was beyond impressed and so grateful. Thank you Vast Dental.

Negative experience: This place is vey disorganized. The doctor barely looks in your mouth and pushes a lot of treatments to do. They only want $$$.

Negative experience: RELAX WITH VAST? Their slogan. More like GET BOTCHED WITH VAST! Just my advice: Think twice before going here! Vast is a fast food dental office. In and out and they make it a rushed atmosphere as much as possible so that they may see as many patients as possible. Reminds me a lot of a plastic surgery center in DR in that way! I had a cleaning and they tried to upsell me for the deep clean. Their cleanings are painful as is! But boy do they always try to upsell you on EVERYTHING they possibly can! I know of a very nice woman who is currently suing these people and VAST DENTAL got an attorney right away because instead of Dr. Thu Hoang giving the woman her hard earned money back she'd rather spend 100 times that all for PRIDE. These people are very much ego driven. They ruined her teeth (veneers) and caused irreversible damage. The teeth fell off and cracked every month! She now requires crowns after getting a second opinion from another dentist. 1 star is far too many. Read the bad reviews on Google and here from years past as well... patients have threatened litigation but the court process is so long and tiring that people are most likely discouraged from moving forward especially with medmal. If Thu Hoang did you wrong my advice is to sue! Don't be afraid. Even if it's David versus Goliath! And report her to the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Dentistry! Someone has to stop this woman. Vast (and the customers who she ultimately takes advantage of, in my opinion) is her cash cow and why she's able to drive that expensive car out front and live in Weston in her mansion and be so obsessed with her daughter's piano lessons at such a young age. Those kids will be so messed up, in my opinion. The kids of tiger moms never end up well. Even an old hygienist who worked at Vast wrote a lengthy review on Google and it was very telling. Few former employees have nice things to say... same can be said for the patients. What's that tell you?! Don't walk. Run!!! There's plenty of nice dentist offices around. Go to one of them instead!

Negative experience: Vast dental led to irreparable damage where I almost lost two teeth. What was supposed to be two cavities being filled led to me needing two root canals from another dentist. The first cavity Vast dental filled resulted in a cracked tooth and the second cavity Vast dental completed fell out within less than a year. Both fillings were too close to the nerve in my teeth, so I ended up having to spend over $7000 dollars to correct the damage that Vast dental caused. It is horrifying that this establishment has patients. If you care about your dental health, seek treatment elsewhere. Vast Dental is dangerous and they somehow deleted my previous review which makes me question the legitimacy of their google reviews.

Fantastic experience: I wish I could give this dental practice 10 stars! Edit: in the course of my 3 decades of life I’ve seen many dentists, but I am now a “LIFER” to this particular Vast Dental. It’s great to know there are some genuine people in this world still, who go above the mark of where your dollar stretches to care for each patient’s well-being. They are amazingly accommodating, helpful, insightful and go above and beyond! I've never had a dentist be so invested in treating me like I was their only patient. Dr. Hoang is amazing, a truly beautiful person inside and out. All of their staff are amazing and especially Toska! AND THEY HAVE MASSAGE CHAIRS! While you are having your dental work done I usually don't write reviews but I am so impressed with this dental office and their staff and all their hard work, I recommend them to everyone! Sorry it’s so long I am just more impressed after each visit. This is the only review (first review) that I bother with posting. I’ve never clicked so well with a dentist office in entirety!! LOVED n recommend highly by me!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Hoang is very knowledgeable doctor with a holistic approach. I just assumed that my teeth are getting worse from wear, tear and age. It turns out that a lot of my problems were due to incorrect bite after teeth moved from where they are supposed to be. At 53 I began Invisalign treatment and this is the best thing I’ve ever done for my teeth. It improves the health of my teeth and gives me a nice smile as a bonus.

Fantastic experience: I wish I could give you a 10! I have been in and out of dental chairs my whole life (pre-fluoride child with soft teeth). I have never encountered a dentist that rivals most nail salons (minus the smell). I ACTUALLY enjoy going to the dentist! The level of professionalism, and personality you encounter by the entire staff is amazing. I really feel they care about my teeth. After 5 minutes in the vibrating chair and the loving care you receive by the staff I was so relaxed, and confident that I picked the right dentist. Thank you for coming to Nonantum.  I must amend my review. I had a horrible experience with an Asian dentist who literally took 2 hours to pull a tooth. I left the office with no prescription for antibiotics. Then called the doctor two days later with being able to suck air through my mouth - with my mouth closed. I had a hole to my sinus. I had to go to Mass General to see a specialist.

Also they don’t seem to suggest overly unnecessary things (eg excessive fillings, etc) like many other dentists do. Stephanie was also super gentle on my cleaning. Negative experience: If I could give less then 1 Star I would. This is the worst dental office I’ve ever visited. My wife ended with 2 missing teeth and a whole in her gums because of these people. My wife is a lawyer and we are currently filling dental malpractice against them as we speak which they are trying to hinder by not releasing x-rays that my health benefits paid for. I can’t speak on how they treat EVERYONE but if I would have read something like this before I paid them a visit, it would have saved me a boat load of drama.

Fantastic experience: I am 51, living in the Boston area. I work near the Vast Dental office in Newton. Throughout my life I’v been always terrified of the dentist, only going if I absolutely needed to go . It was nearly seven year since my last dental visit from an office in Boston, I shall keep the name name-less but I was ”not happy”. About two years ago, I remember my first appointment at Vast Dental, a very nice! Asia lady gave me a tour of the office. I was astonished, that all the dental booth had flat screen TV’s, and they handed me the remote!!. Like wow!! clearly they have figured out the comfort level thing! (Ding). My teeth are very sensitive, like if I drink a glass of cold water, it will become like, hurt sensitive!!. During the cleaning procedure they talked me through each step of the way, on what they were doing, which gave me another level of comfort. In the end, there was no loud “OUCH” moment or “HAY Whacha’ DOING!! muffle. Now I get my teeth cleaned every 3 to 4 months, in and out in 30 minutes or less. They even help sift through the insurance gibberish. I was there two days ago, I signed off on getting fitted for the Invisalign braces, (not sure of the spelling) but TOTALLY PSYCHED!!. Who knew!! Vast Dental can turn people, into Teeth Happy People!!! Yeah!!

She doesn't rush and it is obvious that she has done these dental procedures many times. I wouldn't go to anyone else now that I found her.
