Negative experience: I regret visiting here. I should have checked reviews before my visit. They charge you $400-500 more than estimate AFTER procedure. The front desk person is absolutely not helpful. My old dental office has always checked with me, giving options to see how much they can do within the insurance coverage. Here, doctors seem doing great job but they don’t care insurance coverage and charge you after everything is done.

Negative experience: This dental office is like a scam. Hard pass. The receptionist doesn’t care about her job at all. She lost or missed the transfer form from my previous dentist. Appoint time was messed up twice and she tried to make it sounds like my fault. She had my name misspelled in a computer that caused online form problems. Charged for unexpected fee 60 days after the cleaning. I was told the cleaning is covered by insurance but they did X ray and charge without telling me it doesn’t covered. (I’ve never been charged for X ray before with previous dentist.) I saw the similar reviews that they charge you more than estimates AFTER the procedure. BE CAREFUL.

Her attention to detail and compassionate and masterful dentistry is very impressive. Her dental assistant, Eve, added to my comfort level. The office is so very welcoming with Ellie and Melissa at the front desk taking care of every detail.

Positive experience: The hygienist and the front desk were exceptional. Super kind and welcoming. That said, I was told I needed a root canal and was strongly encouraged to book a $1,200 procedure without a thorough explanation of alternatives. I had no pain and normal testing, but conservative options were not discussed. I sought a second opinion elsewhere and the tooth was successfully treated with a simple filling. I wish I had been given all options upfront so I could make an informed decision.

Fantastic experience: All the staff are very professional and polite. They take their time to do a thorough cleaning. Explain everything and dont judge you like other offices I have been to in town. I also did not feel like they were trying to scam me, and have work done that was not needed. Their treatment plan was appropriate.

Their technology and equipment is MUCH more up to date than my previous dentist so I'm happy I found them. I don't plan on looking for another dentist anytime soon. You won't regret coming here!

Fantastic experience: Waltham Family Dental has some of the kindest staff I've ever dealt with. Whether it's a cleaning or replacing a filling, they all take the time to explain what they're doing and to make sure I'm comfortable. Whenever I have needed a specialist they have referred me to equally fantastic dentists. They also went above and beyond and saw me for an emergency visit even though they were closing for the day. A huge thank you to Dr. Vo and her team, I owe them a lot. I would highly recommend them to anyone, they're just the best!

The procedure was smooth, I felt safe the entire time, and they even followed up to make sure I was healing well. The office is clean, modern, and runs on time, which I really appreciate. Fantastic experience: I am from the UK and had just arrived in Waltham the day before. We were touring Boston and New England for a fortnight. I had excruciating pain in one of my teeth. I was so lucky to find Waltham Family Dental Clinic who told me I was welcome to wait to see someone. Within 15 mins I had been sent for 3 xrays and given antibiotics to help clear the infection. I can't thank everyone involved enough for their kindness and understanding. It enabled me to continue with my holiday knowing the infection was being treated. Thanks again. Lin x

Fantastic experience: Had emergency level pain for a molar in which there was a crown done by WFD and also a root canal. Was seen in a timely manner, issued antibiotics for the pain and referred to a local endodontist that could see me immediately.

Negative experience: I'm giving this office a 1 because there's just too many better options so close by that I can't justify anyone going here. It all boils down to expectations and Performance, yes this office does have some of the best x rays of teeth I've gotten from a dentist yet and they have some of the best advice along with a very clean office! But that's where it ends, when I went for a cleaning I was seen by a single assistant. I've been to many different dentist office over the years, I have NEVER been seen by just an assistant with no dentist , and to add to that the cleaning itself was terrible, little to no tools used and the assistant just blasted my teeth with water for most of the time. Mind you insurance only covers two cleanings a year! imagine going to your PCP and instead only seeing a nurse who takes your height and weight and then tells you to lose weight, that's the equivalent of the care I received here. Finally they stated I would need two fill ins, I pay for premium dental insurance that should make fillings $25 each , I go in a month later and the front desk tells me it's $300. At no point did they think that would be pertinent to tell me before coming in?! compare that to 376 Dental literally around the corner, where I got a dentist and they were clear on pricing BEFORE making the appointment. If this was the only dental place in a 5 mile radius, maybe; but with the competition please do not waste your money here.

Fantastic experience: Waltham Family Dental has been super helpful with educating, and explaining all options that are available for the treatment, and plans for my teeth. They treat you like a human being, and are very patient as well. Their professionalism is top tier. Going to the dentist is a nerve racking experience, so it’s really reassuring to come here, feel comfortable, and know that you are going to be taken care of. I am particularly impressed with their honesty when it comes to the choices they provide for getting work done. They gave me multiple options to consider, and explained the longevity for each procedure. They answered all questions I had as well, even the nervous ones that come up out of fear. I am not as fearful to see the dentist like I was previously.

Negative experience: This used to be a good place but not any more, the receptionist is so rude, I have been waiting to have my crowns fixed by them but they just repeatedly schedule me for cleaning appointments time and again. when I made an inquiry about why my care plan was never followed. Receptionist rudely told me she is following protocol and Dr's orders! What about patients needs? I will never go back to this place after staying with them for more than 5yrs

Positive experience: I’m giving this dental practice three stars instead of one or two because it is always clean, organized, and I've had positive experiences with Dr. Kapoor in the past. However, my recent visit was with a different dentist, and it left me feeling uncomfortable. When I mentioned that I floss every day, he gave me a skeptical look and asked, “Are you sure about that? Doesn’t seem like it.” I felt judged, even though I had been flossing regularly. Perhaps I wasn’t doing it correctly, but it would have been more helpful if the dentist had asked how I floss or offered guidance on proper technique, rather than making a dismissive comment. While I may be a bit sensitive, being in the dental chair can feel vulnerable, and I would have appreciated more empathy and kindness from the doctor.

Positive experience: Front desk staff and the doctor are nice and polite, but one of the nurses is especially rude. She used impolite gestures to me, and just looked at you without smiling or nodding when walking pass you, simply giving you cold side eyes. I’m sorry I don’t know if I’m overreacting but I find it very uncomfortable.

Fantastic experience: Switched here from Gentle Dental in Arlington and I'm so happy I did. All of the staff here are kind, empathetic, and skilled.

Negative experience: Dr.Damghani was very rude and should have been more professional. Some of the front people are nice, not all. Same goes to the nurses/assistants, they tend to treat you with an attitude. Very horrible experience. Won't even listen to your problem but went from 0 to 100 to deflect the responsibility. That doctor will yell at you or be very sarcastic in her tone. Patients should not be treated like this. Save yourself sometime and go somewhere else!!!

Negative experience: Terrible experience, would not recommend. I visited this dental office for a regular teeth cleaning on Feb.16th, and unfortunately had a terrible experience. Immediately after the visit, I developed a serious gum inflammation that made it difficult to eat or chew normally for a week. When I returned to the office to address the issue, the staff refused to acknowledge any responsibility and instead blamed me for the problem. After sharing my experience on social media to my fellow Brandeis students, I learned that I'm not the only one who has had negative experiences at this dental office. Other individuals have reported problems ranging from careless mistakes to serious injuries. Based on my experience and those of others, I cannot recommend this dental office to anyone. I encourage you to seek out other options for your dental care to ensure you receive safe and effective treatment. I hope this information helps others in making an informed decision about where to receive dental care.
