Not only is this practice close to where I live they are available and answer any questions as needed. 5 stars!

Fantastic experience: I made the switch to Cambridge Smiles about a year ago after a referral from a friend and am so glad I did. Dr. Tenorio is the best! I was about 8 months pregnant when I first switched over and he made a point to share research with me about which anesthetics are safe to use during pregnancy before undergoing a dental procedure. I made my husband switch too and he sees Dr. Sones who is also amazing!

Fantastic experience: I lost my crown while eating into a veggie burger at a local restaurant. It couldn't have been worse timing. It was a holiday week, my dentist was on vacation and I was headed out of the country for a month in a few days. I thought I was doomed. The next morning, I called Cambridge Smiles. They told me to come in right away and they would install a permanent crown that very day. Which they did. Thank you very much, Dr. Tenorio and the staff of Cambridge Smiles.

Dr. Sones and her team (she really hired the right people) are incredibly compassionate, non-judgmental, and always focused on long-term solutions. A few years ago, I first called with severe pain, and they were willing to take me in right away and quickly found a solution. I’ll always be grateful for that. Fantastic experience: Dr. Tenorio is an excellent dentist. He’s professional, courteous and extremely knowledgeable. I’m 65 years old and I needed a root canal. He set up an endodontist appointment to do the procedure. Then he finished the treatment at Cambridge smiles. Within 45 minutes he added the new crown to my tooth. I felt no pain and the treatment was seamless from beginning to end. Plus his amazing hygienist & Dr Tenorio speak Spanish He’s an amazing dentist and I highly recommend him.

Fantastic experience: Does not do work if it's not needed. It is my experience that many dentist do dental work that is not needed, Paula only does work that is needed. Not only that she explain why is it needed and always gives you the option. I've seen her for more than 10 years and I have been very happy with her as a patient.

Fantastic experience: Dr Paula has created a space that is comfortable and safe for everyone. Her whole staff is incredible and kind. Front office will go out of their way to help you schedule an emergency visit, or get you through any paperwork effortlessly. The hygienists are all extremely gentle and thorough. They have switched to the water based picks and are always doing stuff like that, adopting new technologies if it improves customer outcomes and/or comfort. They never make you feel bad about what's going on, and can help you figure out care plans that actually work for you. Dr Paula and her colleague Dr Darius are both excellent at talking you through everything in plain English. And don't forget Diana the lemon beagle / greeter. I genuinely look forward to visits to this dentist office.

She made me feel welcome and unashamed about the amount of work I needed. I’m now prouder of my smile and I can’t recommend enough. Shout out to Kaitlynd too. She knows the ins and outs of insurance, and gives you the time of day to answer any questions you have.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Tenorio extracted the remains of one of my wisdom teeth, which had recently erupted after many years. The extraction was pain-free with local anesthetic and everything has now healed perfectly. I would highly recommend this dentist.

Negative experience: My experience was average. The staff were very friendly, and the teeth cleaning was done well and on time. However, I had a bad experience with a filling. I had it done in early August, but by mid-September, the tooth was still sensitive and painful. I ended up going to a different dentist to have the same tooth refilled，and my tooth no longer hurts after the refill

Fantastic experience: I had an emergency appointment for gum pain with Dr. Tenorio and he was fantastic. His kind and patient demeanor is unparalleled. He showed me X-rays of my teeth and analyzed the issue with me so that I could understand my gum pain and other issues going on in my mouth. When he eventually got into my mouth, he talked me through everything he was doing while he was doing it which was informative and made me feel taken care of. He also made sure I was comfortable the entire time and regularly asked if everything felt ok. He was not only patient with me but also incredibly kind and patient to my young, rambunctious son who asks lots of questions and doesn’t stop moving. Although this is not my regular dentist, I wish I lived closer so that he could be my dentist. It is not often that you come across people and feel as though they are born to do the job they are in but those were my exact sentiments after my brief appointment with him. He was born to be a dentist and does the job better than anyone I’ve ever experienced. I am grateful to have been taken care of by him. Do yourself a favor and go see this young, smart, talented man.

Dr. Sones recently welcomed another DDS to the practice, and both are great. The new location at Alewife is larger and easier to get to. Her dog is so friendly and quietly comes out to the waiting area to be petted. Must be a nice perk of coming to work with your mommy! My cleanings have also always been a positive experience.
