They all explained things clearly and carefully. They took my concerns seriously and were not dismissive, nor did they rush me through my questions. Dr. Greenberg was terrific in explaining what he would do first, and then what would follow, depending on the lay of the land, as it were. I can’t recommend them highly enough. My husband has raved about this practice for some years now, and I understand why now, first hand. Almost too good to believe. Fantastic experience: Very helpful practice. I hadn’t been to the dentist in some time and the whole office was incredibly nonjudgmental during my appointments. They made everything easy. I tend to get anxious in medical environments, and Dr. Greenberg clearly knows how to communicate with people who get nervous. It may seem like a simple thing, but a lot of healthcare professionals don’t do it particularly well.

Fantastic experience: I was first enamored by the footprint of the office space. While there was limited room in the building to establish a dental clinic, they found a way to make it work in a way that felt cozy rather than cramped. Cozy is certainly an interesting way to describe a dental office, but it was true to my experience. The people I interacted with were lovely. Lee at the front desk was professional but also friendly and genuine. Sharon, my hygienist, was very considerate about sensitivity and adjusted her tools to fit my level of comfort. Dr. Greenberg, as echoed in many other reviews, is genuinely as competent and empathetic as people say. Overall, I would recommend.

Fantastic experience: There's no place like Sweet Spot Dental. Amazing customer service and quality care. Wouldn't recommend them enough!

Negative experience: The office is beautiful and the cleaning was great. but Dr. Greenberg is extremely dishonest and greedy. He is constantly trying to sell patients additional services by subtly mentioning not medically necessary problems with teeth. He straight up lied about the presence of a cavity that two other dentists confirmed was only something they’d ever consider monitoring rather than treating. It’s a beautiful office and the quality of care is good but Dr. Greenberg is slimey and dishonest.

Fantastic experience: I had not been to the dentist in years due to extreme dental anxiety, depression, and shame. Dr. Greenberg and his team (shoutout Cynthia!) provided me with comprehensive and mindful care. Each of them thoroughly reviewed my paperwork before my arrival and made it clear that they cared about me and my comfort as a patient. The office space is clean, cozy, and comfortable. While doing my data collection screening to assess the state of my teeth, Cynthia asked questions to assure I was comfortable and explained every step of the process, so I knew what we were doing. I was able to be honest with Dr. Greenberg about my past experiences and current oral hygiene practices without feeling judged or ashamed. He was transparent, kind, and understanding. He and I collaborated together to come up with a care plan that works best for me to restore my oral health. I am looking forward to continue working with Dr. Greenberg and his team and cannot thank them enough.

They are clear and transparent about their practices and don't pressure you into unnecessary operations. Being so close to the red line is very helpful. They are also very clear about billing and are always willing to help and explain what to do if a problem should arise. I 10/10 recommend them.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Greenberg and his team are absolute stars. I had an emergency and was nervous about going to a new dentist after bad past experiences. Everyone is kind and nonjudgemental at Sweet Spot and made sure I had access to the immediate care I needed ASAP — without *also* giving me a laundry list of additional fixes and repairs on the spot. Definitely appreciate dentist who is solution-focused, but Dr Greenberg also focuses on the fact that the patient has agency and deserves transparency, too. It's a refreshing change of pace.

Negative experience: I usually don’t write reviews, but I wanted to share my experience to help others be aware. Before scheduling my appointment, I specifically asked the receptionist if my insurance was in-network. I was told yes, so I went ahead and booked the visit. Nineteen days later, I received an email stating that my annual visit would cost almost $430 because the office was listed as an “unrestricted provider” with my dental insurance — in other words, they are out-of-network. So, I essentially waited 19 days for nothing. When scheduling your visit, I strongly recommend triple-checking your insurance coverage. Everyone I spoke to on the phone was very kind, and the office has great reviews. It's possible the person I initially spoke with simply provided incorrect information, but it still led to a frustrating experience.

From my initial inquiry a few weeks ago through this afternoon’s appointment, Dr. Greenberg and every member of his staff treated me with the most extraordinary care and kindness! Everyone was communicative, supportive, and respectful. They are clearly all very smart and also able to educate me on my current health and future health plans free of shame, negativity, or fear. Positive experience: Very friendly service but the transparency needs improvement. They told me they accept my health insurance, then turns out they are out of network which I was never told and I only realized when I got a bill in the mail from my insurance. In addition, they didn't tell me until I was in office that they don't do tooth extractions which could've been said in advance because I mainly chose this place thinking they offered that. Overall, while the experience was inconvenient, the dental hygienist was amazing, the office ambience is very homey and comforting in contrast to other dentists, and the service is comprehensive and not rushed

After a childhood filled with terrible no good dental experiences, I developed a very deep aversion (read "phobia") to dentistry. And, predictably, after years of neglect, some serious issues arose. Lucky for me, a recommendation from a member of my family brought me to her friend "Jeff's" practice. Dr. Greenberg is a fantastic communicator and a fantastic listener. The whole staff is very good and very communicative and very honest about different options available if you need any work done and what the pros and cons of different treatment plans are. Of course, I felt like I got top notch service and manner from Dr. Greenberg as well, but the environment and the attention to detail in service of the clients comfort style was really amazing. I searched the internet for a periodontist near me who has very good credentials and whose practice has excellent reviews. I found Sweet Spot Dental. From my initial visit, I can see that Sweet Spot lives up to its reviews. The staff is very friendly and professional. Dr. Greenberg is meticulous and caring. He carefully reviewed my records, then did my initial cleaning himself to get to know me and my teeth. I am looking forward to my next visit to Sweet Spot!

Dr. Greenberg and his team - special shout-out to Haley - are focused on treatment that centers consent, respect, humor, joy, gentleness, and honesty. Negative experience: My recent visit to Dr. Greenberg's office was extremely disappointing. It was my second cleaning session there, and I was attended to by a different hygienist who didn't introduce herself. She seemed inexperienced and lacked attention to detail, causing discomfort and pain in my gums with her tools. Despite my complaints about the pain, she attributed it to necessary cleaning, which continued to cause bleeding in my mouth. Not only did she fail to conduct a thorough cleaning process, including applying prophy paste and rinsing my mouth, but I also noticed blood stains on my teeth after leaving. As for the doctor, he didn't wait for the hygienist to finish or take my X-rays. His examination was brief, and he recommended a crown that I didn't agree to. He never returned to discuss my X-rays, a crucial part of the annual exam. After experiencing significant pain in my teeth and gums post-visit, I reached out to the office twice, leaving messages and speaking with the receptionist. Instead of apologizing or offering further assistance, the doctor sent a lengthy email emphasizing their dedication to patient satisfaction, without addressing my specific concerns. I had to rely on Advil for four days and couldn't chew on one side during this period. In hindsight, I regret choosing this dental practice, as it's evident they prioritize their outward appearance over genuine patient care.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Greenberg is SIMPLY the most fantastic dentist out there. I used to have so much anxiety about going to the dentist, but he is so down to earth and honest with you. He's not judging, he's just there to help you from where you're at. He even asks about any anxieties you may have in a questionnaire before your appt. so he can make sure to address them when you arrive. Haley at the front desk is excellent, all the hygienists are so kind, and it's always a lovely experience. Would give 1000 stars if I could!

Fantastic experience: I cannot be happier with my experience at this practice. From reception to procedures, I feel seen, taken cared of, and in extremely good hands. Dr. Greenberg leads his practice with the patient in full focus, keeping a full, 360 detailed history of your dental/mouth state throughout the process along the way. He is generous with his time to explain everything, answer all questions and assuage your concerns. I have never felt more safe and received such great care. I wish every dentist were as attuned to the patient’s dental needs all the while delivering compassion and reassurance along the way. And the staff at this practice is equally excellent!

Fantastic experience: Wow. I’m a pretty skeptical person and was fully expecting to be proven wrong when it comes to the glowing reviews I heard about. But, all of the reviews are spot on! I felt incredibly taken care of, and did not feel like anything was pushed on me. Dr Greenberg talked through a reasonable plan with me given my student budget. The hygienist was really gentle and also gave my teeth a nice clean. Was a pleasant return to visiting the dentist after not doing so for 6 years. Also was impressed by how staff worked together! Fantastic experience: Our family absolutely loves Dr. G and all of the staff at Sweet Spot Dental! We came in after having negative experiences at other dentists and immediately felt at ease with Dr. G. He seeks to understand his patients deeply and definitely has a compassion-focused practice while also making sure we are getting the highest quality care. Without exaggeration, every time one of us leaves an appointment we cannot stop gushing about how glad we are to have found Sweet Spot and the team there!

Fantastic experience: I had a very pleasant first visit with Dr. Greenberg and Melissa! I got the feeling that the office is very honest and only recommends treatments when they’re necessary. I personally wasn’t offered anything other than initial X-rays, cleaning, and given some advice about teeth to “watch.” I’ll likely stick with them for as long as I’m in Boston!

Dr. Greenberg acknowledged and accepted my anxiety and explained how he was there to help me meet my goals, at my pass. I hadn’t heard that from most of the dentists I tried. If you’ve been fearful of seeing a dentist, see Dr. Greenberg. He and his staff will treat you with respect and support you through your journey to achieve your goals.

Fantastic experience: Wonderful customer service, very friendly staff, and a cute office! Felt more like visiting a friend than coming to a dental clinic which made me feel so comfortable. I also really appreciated how caring and attentive my RDH, Tomoko, was. Both she and Dr. Greenberg made sure I understood everything in my care plan well and felt safe during the procedures. Fantastic experience: WOWOWOW I heard about Dr. Greenberg from my cousin and I have told many people since my appointment last week that this was the single best dentist visit I have ever been to in my life. I truly had a fun time during my appointment. It was the most detailed oriented, comprehensive, and informative conversation about my teeth i’ve ever had. Dr. Greenberg has given me the motivation to take better care of my teeth or in need of and made it known that it’s okay to have setbacks as long as you are trying. I am confident that my more significant appointments (implant) will be done with the most care and professionalism. I would recommend him to anyone with teeth. This office is great all around from the receptionist to the hygienists to the decor itself. You feel so welcomed and respected and I am very excited to go back!!!!!

Fantastic experience: I loooove Dr. Greenberg and Sweet Spot Dental. Never thought I would rave about a dentist but I genuinely get so excited to see him and everyone who works in his office. They are funny, knowledgeable, and make you feel right at home. The office is such a cozy space while also being very high tech. I was blown away by the technology and Dr. Greenberg’s knowledge at my first appointment. I ended up getting Invisalign and am so thrilled with the results. I really could go on and on. 10/10 dentist! I’ve since recomended Sweet Spot to several friends and they all love it, too. The whole team goes above and beyond every visit.

Fantastic experience: This was hands-down the best experience at the dentist that I’ve ever had. I haven’t been to the dentist in close to 10 years, and I was worried knowing that I’d likely need work done of some kind. Dr. Greenberg was incredibly kind and straightforward during the initial consultation, and let me know exactly what would need to be done going forward. When it came to actually getting my fillings, I felt absolutely no pain (not even from the injections). He and his team are wonderful- I can’t recommend them enough.
