Fantastic experience: If you need an IMPLANT go here! Doctor Schwartz-Hinds gave me a new tooth last week and it is my favorite now! The entire process was smooth and painless, including the billing (Thanks Maria!). Update… I had a dental emergency last Friday and Doctor Schwartz-Hinds called me on the weekend and got me in asap to take care of it. I cannot recommend them high enough!! Fantastic experience: I’ve had a great experience at Camberville Dental! I was able to get a first appointment pretty quickly when I moved to Cambridge and they were very thorough in my appointment. I also appreciate the convenience of the location - I was able to leave my house and be back within a hour while working from home. Scheduling is also easy and I appreciate all the reminder texts that get sent before an appointment.

Fantastic experience: I have been going to this dentist for many years and I always have a great experience. Sandra is an amazing dental hygienist. Dr. Schwartz-Hinds is great and always tells me exactly what I need and answers all my questions. My kids go to this dentist also and my daughter hates getting fillings, but they were very patient with her. The secrateries are helpful and friendly. All in all a great place to go.

Fantastic experience: TL;DR: Professional, Efficient, Compassionate local dentistry and arguably the best general dentist experience I've ever had. I called because I needed a tooth's permanent retainer recemented. They agreed to do the work (because it was a repair) despite not technically being an orthodontist because they had all the tools and were willing to take care of me and my situation. They booked me for the same day (when other dentists/orthodontists only had openings weeks/months later). They got in touch with my insurance company and alerted me just before the dentist saw me (serendipitous timing). The wall-to-wall monitors in front of their chairs are used for clear photos of your individualized dental situation and to help communicate what the doc wants to do _before_ AND _after_ the work. There were tons of periodic consent checks and clear narration of all the little steps going on during the process ("I'm going to add water here", "You're going to feel some vibration here so I can do this") which made everything _feel_ so safe/familiar even as a first time patient. All the staff were very professional. The process they use to interact with the insurance company was very transparent and everyone seems to be intimately familiar with how they manage insurance companies, in general. The assistant and the dentist were incredibly synchronized and I was in and then out after 20 mins of dental work (30mins including paperwork). Needless to say I'm impressed and will be back.

Fantastic experience: This is by far the best dental practice I have ever been to in my life, and I feel so fortunate to have found it. The administration, technlogy, thoroughness, professionalism, and competence are unparallel to anything else and in a league of its own. You won't run into any surprises here, just honest and expert service and care. Recently I went in for my first cleaning since my initial visit 6 months ago and when asked if I was having any issues with my teeth or gums, I realized that since my last visit, not once did I have to think about my teeth or any discomfort because this practice brought up things that previous practices did not catch, helped me assess how to address my potential problems, and then resolved things successfully. If you're looking for dental care, this is the place you want to be.

It is very easy to schedule appointments (and you can do it online!), all of the staff, including the dentist, were knowledgeable about my insurance benefits which was incredibly helpful, and they did a great job taking care of my teeth. Negative experience: If I could give zero stars, I would. My experience at Camberville Dental was extremely disappointing. Dr. Andrew Schwartz-Hinds came across as unprofessional and inattentive. There was little effort made to build rapport or explain procedures clearly, which left me feeling uncomfortable and uncertain. It seemed like the focus was more on profit than on patient care. I left the office feeling frustrated and distrustful. I would not recommend this practice to others based on my experience

For my first appointment, I received the most thorough evaluation with X-rays, gum checks, and a really cool new technology that developed a 3D model of my teeth. Dr. Schwartz-Hinds was very kind and answered my many questions, particularly taking a close look at a previously problematic tooth. My Dental Hygienist, Stephanie, was very caring and also did a great job. Overall, I left the dentist office smiling big with my clean teeth and feeling positive about my experience!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Schwartz-Hinds is a fantastic dentist. He’s thoughtful, meticulous, and really takes his time walking you through how he’s interpreting current and past photographs and x-rays of your teeth. I feel fully involved and informed with making decisions about my dental care. He is nuanced, conservative, evidence-based, and practical with his recommendations - he won’t recommend invasive or expensive procedures if they’re not warranted. He takes extra time assessing each tooth for sensitivity, using numbing gel prior to numbing injections, giving injections adequate time to kick in, and physically shielding any sensitive areas from exposure to painful stimuli if possible. His assistants and front desk staff are responsive and helpful, and I have been able to get appointments much sooner than other practices in the area. I highly recommend his practice.

Fantastic experience: The people and the care at Camberville are both fantastic. Professional, gentle, patient, and state of the art. At my first hygienist appointment Alicia spent 1.5 hrs with me. Gently and thoroughly cleaning and assessing. Taking high resolution photographs and measuring gum recession. Explaining everything. She found a cracked filling and a hidden cavity at the gum line. I am so impressed with the thoroughness and quality of the care. I received regular dental care, last cleaning 6 months ago, and all these issues were missed. This is an A+ dental practice. Billing insurance are charges all seem in line too. It's two years later and I continue to be impressed. Dr. Andrew Schwartz-Hinds and his office team are amazing. Very knowledgeable, state of the art equipment and highly intuned with their patients. Always open and available to answer questions. Gentle and mindful of any discomfort one might experience. Alicia is my hygienist and she is warm, has a gentle touch and high level of knowledge and skill. The whole office is magical, because I never feel rushed and they are always on time. WOW!

My first appointment was on a Tuesday, I was greeted kindly by there wonderful receptionist and right beside her sitting on a chair was badka the office dog. From there I was greeted by everyone I walked by. I had the most wonderful experience for the first time at a dentist. A little over an hour in the chair, they got to know me as I got to know them. They didn’t rush, they were gentle and best of all I felt no pain. Im blessed to have found this place. To those searching for a dentist I highly recommend to give camberville a shot, you won’t regret it.

Fantastic experience: I live within 10 minutes walk of multiple dentists, but I bike 30 minutes to Camberville Dental because they're worth it. If I could give more than five stars, I would, and here's why: The number one thing I value in a dentist is price transparency - I don't like going to dentist, getting a quote for a procedure, and then getting a bill later for much more. I was upset about repeated billing related issues with my previous dentist and a friend recommended Camberville Dental. Maria at Camberville Dental is great at giving reliable quotes based on your insurance, and she'll be clear if there's any uncertainty in the numbers. I get the strong sense that Camberville Dental is focused on the patients, not the profit. My hygienist Alicia is wonderful - she's detail oriented and remembers concerns I'd asked her about at previous appointments. Doctor Andrew is very knowledgeable and has a calming presence. Fantastic experience: My partner and I have been patients at Camberville Dental for the past year, and everyone in the office is SUCH a delight, especially Babka, the office dog. The hygienists are so kind, and remember things about their patients (interests, job, etc)- shoutout to Sandra! Dr. Schwartz-Hinds is extremely capable, professional, and good natured- we're in great hands with him and the Camberville Dental team!

Camberville Dental made me feel comfortable right away and noticed some underlying issues that my prior dentist hadn't. They are friendly, super punctual, and very thorough. I also appreciate the flexible hours that allow me to come after my teaching day is over.
