Negative experience: SO DISAPPOINTED!!!!!! I was a patient here in the past and returned for an implant consultation in September, which cost $100. Recently, I called to schedule the implant procedure. However, the staff told me that because my consultation was more than three months ago, I would need to pay another $100 for a new consultation. What makes this even more frustrating is that they said this new consultation would not required any new imaging or X-rays. So essentially, they are asking patients to pay another $100 just to come back and speak with the doctor again. I was not calling for a consultation. I was calling to move forward with the implant procedure. Dental implants already cost thousands of dollars, which is understandable given the complexity of the treatment. However, charging an additional consultation fee without providing any new diagnostic service feels unreasonable and unfair. This experience raises concerns about transparency and whether there may be other unnecessary charges throughout the treatment process. Patients deserve clear policies and fair treatment, especially when making such a significant financial and healthcare decision.

Fantastic experience: I first discovered Dr. Choi through YouTube and was immediately impressed by his knowledge and the detailed information he shared about the “All-on-4” procedure. After that, I didn’t hesitate to look further into North Texas Dental Surgery. Living in New Jersey, I simply couldn’t find the right fit locally. After my video consultation with Dr. Choi, I knew he was the right doctor for me—even if it meant traveling for the procedure. From start to finish, I felt fully informed and guided every step of the way. Anytime I felt unsure or uncomfortable, the team reassured me and made me feel completely at ease. Positive experience: I had all four of my wisdom teeth removed today by Dr. Han, and I'm very grateful for his work. I'm leaving a 4-star review because when I woke up from sedation, one of the female staff members told me to "BEHAVE." I was shocked! she should understand that people respond differently under anesthesia. It came across as unprofessional. I don't recall her name, but l remember her face. Jackie was awesome too. The receptionist was fantastic. Thank you so much for solving my problem North Texas Dental Surgery. I will definitely recommend this place to family and friends.

Fantastic experience: Great office, everyone is very kind and welcoming. I got my wisdom teeth out, and as nervous as I was, I knew there was nothing to worry about! The receptionist were all so kind, Betty the treatment coordinator was very helpful and made me feel so comfortable, the assistants Victoria and Yoselin were so sweet, and Dr.Han ensured I got the best treatment possible! If I had to go through it all over again, as someone with a lot of dental anxiety- I would most definitely want come back here!

Fantastic experience: Amazing staff from the front desk to the doc. The consultant Jackie made me feel so comfortable because usually my blood pressure shoots up when I go to the dentist but it was at a beautiful level. Jackie and both the docs I saw were amazing! Negative experience: I was not happy with the assistant, she was not easy with drilling off screws. placing film in the bottom of mouth, There was a issue with the silver rings in the tooth holes. She said they came out when placed in cleaner. Did not explain what was going on well. She did take the problem to another DR. Has to go to lab to fix. I know things happen, I had the non permanent teeth at home. I will bring to cleaning from now on. I went home with no bottom teeth, Back today, will ask for another tech. Another thing, she seemed like she did not know what to do next. I said talk to Dr. Choi, she said not a question for him. I thought that is crazy he knows the ends and outs with these procedures and the practice is his!! I am hoping all is well and taken care of today. No telling how long they will take to fix?? Fantastic experience: After years of putting it off, I finally got my very impacted wisdom teeth removed on November 6th — and I did it AWAKE!!! I’ve been searching for the right oral surgeon. I went to several offices over the years — most charged crazy consultation fees and honestly left me feeling more confused and hopeless than before. One even told me it’d “probably be best to just leave them in” because of potential nerve damage… without even doing a CBCT scan! Then this past August, I found North Texas Dental Surgery and scheduled a consult with Dr. Han — and from the very start, I knew I was in the best hands. The entire consultation (X-rays, CBCT, and all) was completely complimentary — yes, free! — and Dr. Han took the time to explain everything in detail with so much confidence and kindness. The whole office deserves all the love — from the sweet front desk team to the amazing dental assistant’s and of course Dr. Han himself. Everyone made me feel so comfortable, which is saying a lot for someone who gets super anxious about this stuff. My case wasn’t an easy one (one tooth was even near a nerve!), but Dr. Han removed them so smoothly and skillfully. I truly believe God placed this incredible surgeon in my path, and I’m beyond grateful. I can still feel my lips, chin, and tongue — praise Jesus and thank you Dr. Han!! They went above and beyond to the point where they were able to have the procedure completed the same day after. Fantastic experience: Before going here, I visited another dentist who warned me that the wisdom tooth was pushing against the adjacent tooth, with a high chance the tooth could be damaged or lost during removal. They also mentioned risks related to the nerve. None of that was brought up here. Instead, the doctor confidently told me they’ve handled cases far more complex than mine.currently I can feel my self getting better and I am hopeful for full recovery very soon The doctor’s confidence was on another level like the best soccer player walking up to an open goal. Fantastic experience: I had a great experience with my wisdom teeth extractions at the McKinney location. I was happy to pay a lot less than what I was quoted at other offices. Dr. Koo was very kind and efficient as It took about half an hour total for the extractions. Would recommend!!

Fantastic experience: This has to be the best experience I have ever had with a doctor. I was referred to Dr. Koo after I went to my dentist with pain. The pain progressed significantly the night before the appointment to where I never even went to sleep. I already don't like going to the dentist as it is the one thing that has always made me anxious and uncomfortable in my mouth. The pain was very severe and I was going to need to get two wisdom teeth pulled. He was going to fit me in right away, because he could see I was in pain. I was a bit of a mess being in pain up all night and also having a panic attack which is not something I am used to. He was very patient and reassuring despite being very busy and me being a bit difficult. I really couldn't be thankful enough that he was able to calm me down enough and I didn't leave with the awful pain I had. The procedure was quick and pretty painless. He checked on my after multiple times answered questions. I ended up getting a delayed dry socket I think I rushed too quick into eating foods I should not have and he talked talked me through it multiple times even late at night on the eve of a holiday. This is really above and beyond expectations. In most situations i'm very easy going, but this was one situation where the pain, timing, anxiety etc I was not doing okay to take the time he did to help me was probably far helpful and needed than he knew. There is nobody I could ever recommend more than Dr. Koo.

Fantastic experience: Every staff member is so joyful and makes you feel like you’ve been a patient of theirs forever, even at your first visit! You can tell that everyone absolutely loves their job and treats their patients like gold! I love the fact that they have a multitude of “dentists” in office (Endodontist, prosthodontist, etc.) that all work together to create the perfect smile that YOU design. Their office is over nine hours from where I live, but it’s totally worth it! I highly recommend Dr Choi and his staff!

Fantastic experience: North Texas Dental surgery is one of the best places that I have ever dealt with. The patience and level of service that they provide is unmatched. This has been a year long process for me to make sure that I was making the right decision. Through many phone interviews, emails and in person consultations I finally made the decision to have the All on 4. Jacqueline the dental assistant I've been working with was very informative and honest with me about the process. Dr. Choi walked me through the process and gave me confident reassurance about his abilities and the level of treatment I would receive. I traveled from Indiana to Dallas to have the procedure done. My first appointment was on a Monday for preoperational x-rays to give the doctors another look at what need to be done and map out the game plan. They also answered any questions that I had and combined my next appointment to make it easier for me. It was originally set for 4 days (1 day for x-rays, 3 days for surgery, delivery and follow-up). They made it happen in 3 days without making me feel rushed. The night before surgery the sent me an email, text and phone call to make sure that I was prepared and to tell me what I needed to do and expect. My procedure was not a simple one do to some bone issues and Dr. KOO made me feel very comfortable and even played som 80's and 90's R&B to make sure that I was comfortable. After the surgery he texted later that night to see how I was doing and explain more of the process. Dr. K was very precise in measuring and designing my replacements. The next morning I returned to the office for the delivery and Dr. K was very careful and patient in making sure the fit and bite was comfortable for me. All along the way, I met many assistants that were very nice, respectful and knowledgeable who answered all of my questions. Since the surgery on Wednesday 12/7/2023 I have received multiple text and phone calls from the doctors and assistants checking on my recovery. I am very grateful for meeting such a professional yet personable company. I have met many dentist in my years and never have I've dealt with anyone like this. I highly recommend NTDS for all your dental needs even if it means that you have to travel. Thank you guys for a very pleasant experience and I am 100% please with the outcome. I can't wait until I come back and finish the process. Money well spent!!!!!!!

Fantastic experience: my experience with NTDS Plano was a great experience, I recently had got my upper done with all on 4 and Dr Koo and the team did such a great job. i love my new smile and the pain wasnt nearly as bad as I expected it to be. Even after surgery they reach out to see how your doing and it makes it feel like yo u chose the right team for such a big procedure.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Han and his team performed my wisdom tooth extraction a couple weeks ago - my experience with them was amazing start to finish! I'll start by saying I was EXTREMELY anxious for this procedure and have been putting it off for over a decade. I'm very squeamish with needles and losing control with sedation. The following is a detailed review for anyone else who may need this procedure and is overwhelmed by anxiety like I was. CONSULTATION: I initially went in for a consultation because my bottom wisdom tooth was starting to grow in but causing me some mild discomfort. He did a scan of my head and reviewed the results with me in as much detail as I wanted (which is a lot). I could tell from the beginning that he was a very competent surgeon but also passionate about his work and patients' wellbeing. I ended up having a weird space/mass around the tooth that led me to finally agree to the extraction, so it could be properly tested to rule out anything serious. SCHEDULING: I scheduled with them probably about a week or 2 later - the entire office staff and everyone I spoke to was kind and professional. They made it feel so routine/natural for them without making me feel like just a number - which also gave me confidence about choosing this office for my extraction. DAY OF PROCEDURE: Okay I was NERVOUS - crying the night before and almost didn't think I would make it to my appointment. I just kept remembering the confidence I felt in my treatment plan and the competency of everyone I had worked with so far. Once I got there, my husband was able to go inside to let them know we were here. They allowed me to wait in the car, but they prepped my paperwork, so all I had to do was come in, sign, pay, and walk back to the room - amazing! They also agreed to not have any of the needles or other tools out in view until I got the nitrous oxide to relieve my anxiety. The dental assistants were so kind and casual (in the best way) which really helped calm me down. Dr. Han was kind and professional. Once they got me on the gas, they placed my IV. When I say I literally asked "how long will it take to fall asleep?", I teleported to waking up and being wheeled out of the office. So easy! The worst part was just my own mind leading up to the event. RECOVERY: It took me about a week to recover (I am almost 28 y/o). The first few days weren't great, but I expected that. This will obviously vary from person to person. They give you detailed directions to follow along with a video to tell you how to care for the surgery site in the following weeks. I recommend to get your meds ASAP... you do NOT want to lapse on the pain medication for the first few days. Dr. Han and his office were very accessible for any questions or concerns we had during recovery and highly responsive. I'm now almost 3 weeks post-op and back to eating my normal diet with no more worries about my wisdom teeth! If you made it this far, don't worry! You found one of the best offices and Doctors around to do this procedure. The mass they took out ended up being nothing serious, and I'm overall glad it was there to give me the final push I needed to do the surgery. Thank you to everyone I worked with at North Texas Dental Surgery and Doctor Han - I am so grateful!

Negative experience: I visited this office to get my wisdom teeth removed in april of 2024, while the surgery & recovery overall went fine, the payment and insurance part of it was an absolute nightmare. I had blue cross blue shield, and this dental office had me pay for half of the procedure up front, around 1200, with the understanding that I would be refunded that after the insurance was processed. They told me that a claim would be started with my insurance, with some parts of the claim going through my dental insurance and some through my medical, after 8 months of waiting, having to call & deal with insurance, resubmitting claims, and an absolute nightmare, in the end I didn't get a penny back for the money I paid out of pocket and was told would be refunded. The operation went fine, but I feel like the office was not upfront enough with my money and getting reimbursed, in the end, they got their money and it left me feeling very frustrated and unhappy with the end result. You can trust them for the procedure, but not for dealing with insurance and your money.

Fantastic experience: I'm usually afraid of dental appointments and work. Dr. Koo and the whole staff are all amazing and are there to make sure everything goes smooth and your comfortable the entire procedure. I would send all my friends and family looking for Dental implants to these doctors. Dr. Koo was amazing and answers all your question in detail before your surgery and after even early in the morning or middle of the night. I had my procedure Wednesday the 11th. Fantastic experience: I visited North Texas Dental Surgery Center for a second opinion after my primary periodontist at a franchise dental office recommended Osseous Surgery due to deep pockets (5s and 6s). The periodontist at the Plano office thoroughly reviewed the X-rays and dental chart from my primary dentist, conducted a comprehensive exam of my pockets, and determined that the measurements I received were overestimated. He reassured me that I didn’t need Osseous Surgery or LANAP and recommended incorporating hydrogen peroxide into my daily oral care routine alongside flossing and brushing. This level of honesty and integrity is rare in today’s medical field, and I greatly appreciate it. I highly recommend North Texas Dental Surgery Center for their professionalism and genuine care for their patients.

Negative experience: I have had a challenging experience with North Texas Dental Surgery over the past year. Initially, we received a quote for wisdom teeth removal, with a pre-authorization submitted to my dental insurance. The estimated out-of-pocket cost was $350.00, which seemed reasonable, so we proceeded with scheduling the surgery. The surgery itself went smoothly with no complications. However, a few weeks after the procedure, I was surprised to receive a bill from North Texas Dental totaling $1,500.00. My dental insurance denied the claim, stating that code 7240 requires an explanation of benefits from my health insurance before they would cover the costs. I reached out to my dental insurance, who advised that North Texas Dental should contact the health insurance company to request the needed forms. When I contacted North Texas Dental, the billing manager, Mary, informed me that they don't coordinate with health insurance, and that I would need to handle the paperwork myself. To resolve the issue, we had a three-way call with my dental insurance and North Texas Dental, where I was assigned the task of submitting the required 1500 form to insurance, which I did promptly. Unfortunately, as I awaited resolution, I received a notice from collections. Upon contacting my dental insurance, I discovered that the 1500 form had not been re-submitted with the claim. Instead of contacting me directly, the issue was escalated to collections. I reached out once again to North Texas Dental, only to be informed that they had not received the necessary explanation of benefits and were unwilling to contact the health insurance company, which they claimed wouldn’t communicate with them. Given that it has now been over a year, I am told that the likelihood of insurance covering the bill is slim. I am currently attempting to obtain the explanation of benefits from the health insurance to provide to North Texas Dental (again), but I may ultimately be responsible for the $1,500.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Han was the absolute best- he made sure all of my questions, concerns & worries were not only addressed but that I felt comfortable with it all. Additionally, he personally folllowed up with me to ensure healing was going well and no complications. By far the best dentist experience!!

After years in between dentists pushing me for treatments that I did not need, and after consulting with multiple orthodontists that each one recommends a special approach, my sister insisted on me to consult with North Texas Dental as a last opinion since she trusted their judgments ... GLAD I DID .. The patient coordinator Rodney and Dr. Koo listened to all my concerns and answered all my questions .. Guess what! I ended up not needing to proceed with anything since I'm comfortable with the way my teeth look and the overall health is good .. they just saved me around 8K worth of dental work .. Also, the girls at the front desk .. professional.. helpful and made it easy to check in.. Now my husband is switching as well .. we landed in our trusted dentist practice HIGHLY recommended

Fantastic experience: Dr. Han was nothing, but amazing! I was originally going to get my teeth extracted from the Wisdom Teeth Guys, and a week prior to my procedure they cancelled on me. I was able to get a panel the next day and was able to speak with Dr. Han regarding any complications and how he was going to operate. They were honestly really fast and efficient in terms of getting me in, to scheduling, and overall everything. I also loved the fact that Dr. Han was very thorough and detailed when explaining how to extract my wisdom teeth. One of my teeth was a bit complicated and he made sure I understood the risks. I also liked that when I told him I wanted just Nitrous oxide and lidocaine, he was understanding. I expressed I didn’t want IV and he understood and stressed that it was my body to decide that. Come the day of the procedure, he was quick and diligent. I was expecting to honestly have numbness with my situation, but he executed the procedure well. I’m healing and recovering well! A week after my procedure, he checked in and asked how I was doing. :) Really appreciate his work ethic and him being transparent. I would definitely recommend seeing Dr. Han

First I want to thank Betty for coordinating my treatment with me from the beginning! She made sure all my questions were answered & was so kind!! The day of my surgery Dr. Han & his assistants took care of me well. Kudos for the assistants for making sure I was doing good before & after surgery. Throughout my healing process, I was able to communicate with Dr. Han & he answered every single question which made me feel at peace! Only did the nitrous and not sedation, but felt calm the whole time as they walked me through each step with warning. No trauma and would go back if it has to happen again!!! Got all 4 of them removed... a little sore on the first day, but a breeze after that!! 10 days post op, no bruises, swelling holes or pain!!

I was given great information and choices - it was a great decision to check them out because my own periodontist told me there was nothing that could be done for my bone loss and periodontal disease. I was pleasantly surprised and definitely impressed.

Fantastic experience: After a really bad experience with a different dentist, I decided to search for a surgeon online, that’s when Dr. Han came up. I was desperate to be seen since I was in pain, I was able to be seen the next day. I was extremely nervous but the staff & Dr. Han made me feel very comfortable, they heard my concerns, they explained what they needed to do, answered the hundreds of questions I asked & took excellent care of me before & after the procedure. I had my four wisdom teeth removed, I was terrified about the recovery process but WOW! I am 2 weeks into recovery & I have had zero pain, I am healing very well!! If that wasn’t enough to convince you to go see Dr. Han, a few days after the procedure he called me to ask how I was doing & he once again answered all my questions. Thank you Dr. Han!!!!!

Fantastic experience: I had just gotten and All on Four done for my uppers and lowers yesterday. Less than 24 hours later I have no pain. Aside from a little bit of swelling no issues what so ever. Dr. Koo and Dr. Koukousaki are absolutely amazing at what they do. Their entire team has been extremely helpful through this whole process and continue to shock me with the amount of care they provide. From day 1 of walking into their office to now. I have not once felt like I was in a typical dentist office. Fantastic experience: If you’ve ever had a horrible experience at a dentist office and would rather be beat black and blue than go -THIS is the place for you. I found their office on google, read the reviews and figured people were just blowing smoke. I was in terrible pain and decided to try them anyway. It was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. I can’t find anything negative to say - all the staff I encountered was courteous, professional and smiling. Now the nitty gritty: Dr. Koo and his assistant, Eladia - are absolutely wonderful. He answered any/all questions I had about the treatment I needed and because my teeth are so bad, I asked to schedule a consult for the long term fix. He spent the time with me then and there, going over treatment options- pros and cons, etc..During my actual treatment, an extraction- he consistently asked me if I was ok and made sure I was comfortable, on my end - quick and easy. BefI keft, he had texted me his number in case if any problems I might have. He texted later that evening, asking how I was. I’ve never had a dentist do that - especially for “only an extraction”; makes you feel like you mattered. i can’t express my appreciation for how my treatment was and went. Generally when I sit in a dental office, waiting - I get more uptight and nervous. Eladia did not let that happen. She got everything ready for Dr. Koo, got papers signed and sat in there with me while I waited. She didn’t make me feel like an inconvenience of her time, just sat and talked until Dr. Koo came in to work his magic. I was smiling, relaxed and ready to proceed - which was a first for me. I’ve already told my family that I’ll never go anyplace else for dental work and that they had to switch also. I have has issues with my teeth for many years after researching all my different options I made the decision to go with Dr. Koo and the all on 4 dental implant option he and his staff are the best they walked me through the whole process of the surgery and checked on me everyday during my recovery. Fantastic experience: I have been struggling with pain from my wisdom teeth for about 7 months, but I’m really not fond of most dentist appointments so I tried every natural remedy I could find. About 2.5 weeks ago my primary doctor told me that I had a massive infection in my mouth, which was causing me to have low grade fevers, pain, and chronic hives. I called this office on a Friday and they worked me in for that very next week on Monday! I arrived for my consultation, there was about a 15 minute period when I was filling out my paperwork, and then I was able to see the Doctor. He wrote me a script for Antibiotics and scheduled an appointment for that Wednesday morning. I had to have a driver because they used light sedation and he gave me something for anxiety, to take before I left my house. I arrived with my husband, he was allowed to come with me until I was asleep. No panic attacks, I didn’t have any awareness of the pain or pressure that I have had in the past. I don’t remember anything after that. A week later I was having trouble with my right lower jaw, it feels like a piece of bone, the Dr did a video appointment because I was unable to come in to the office, due to family medical issues. The Dr was able to reassure me that it is no longer infected, and that it will continue to heal. I’m so thankful for this dental office, and I will be a life long patient, and so will my family members. Everyone is so kind and supportive, they are always available for questions or concerns. If you are looking for a new dentist, you should absolutely contact them, you will not regret it!

Fantastic experience: I’m so glad I ended up with Dr. Choi and his staff. I had a HORRIBLE experience with another doctor and a failed gum graft. I went to several consultations with other doctors about getting the graft redone, and they ALL planned on doing a type of graft that I new know would’ve failed again (because Dr. Choi did a good job of educating me more about the procedure). I was super frustrated with my past experiences when I first met with Jackie (patient coordinator), she listened to my story and made sure I was taken care of. Fantastic experience: Dr Choi was recommended to me by my manager at work as he did her husbands all on 4 implants (both upper and lower) and they were extremely happy with the result as well as the care he received. She suggested I watch his videos on YouTube which I did as soon as I got home from work that day. I found them to be very informative and they answered a lot of my questions ahead of time. I was interested in having all on 4 implants on my uppers which I now happily have. I decided to go for it and sent the office an email that weekend with a few questions regarding scheduling and which days he was in each of his offices so that I could plan my initial consultation visit. Within an hour or two I received an email from Jackie, the treatment coordinator, answering my questions, and on the weekend no less! Talk about great (and prompt) service! I can’t even begin to say enough kind words about Dr Choi and his staff. From the gals at the front desk to the surgical techs, dental assistants and of course Jackie who has been so very helpful, they made my experience a very enjoyable one. They make you feel like family from day one. Dr Choi is an excellent surgeon who made me feel very comfortable having a surgery that I was initially very scared to do. He spent as much time as I needed explaining the procedure to me and I never felt/feel rushed when talking to him. He and his prosthodontist worked as a team and gave me my smile back and I am constantly getting compliments on it! I have worked in healthcare for 40+ years and provide direct patient care. Negative experience: Dr Choi is very Rude , unprofessional with almost zero patience and very money minded .He spent less than 2 minutes in consulting ( I had waited in the room doing nothing for 45 mins) and Dr Choi dismissed me saying that he has no time even though I took appointment and I had gone with a reference from another dentist/clinic. My 15 year old child and his nursing assistant is a witness for the whole episode I returned home with pain as he refused to do tooth extraction. Don't go this clinic as he probably sees 3 to 4 times no. Of patients and only gives time where the Dr.Choi sees money making potential. Also he is a Racist and treats blacks with absolute authority.

Doctor Choi, his staff, and I have become great friends over the past 1.5 years. As someone who hates dental work and then was told I needed all-on-four, I was more afraid of what was to come than anything else in life. On top of that, the cost is not covered by insurance; it is considered an elective procedure. From the start, I loved the staff and their commitment to making me and my wife comfortable with the process. The doctor made it clear this was a long-term commitment, and we both needed to commit to every appointment and surgery. My mouth was complex and was not the typical road to a final prosthesis. Everything is included in the cost, and I mean all of it. Any extra procedure, a new set of temps to resolve issues down to even a color they used that is too white or yellow, The other thing that sealed the deal for me is that for his long-term care patients Doctor Choi will give you his personal number so you can text any problems or ask questions at any time. I needed that to help make me comfortable, and I do not abuse his trust in his patients who have his number. I wish all doctors did this, but they don't. I cannot say anything negative about the business and staff Doctor Choi has brought together. Watch him on YouTube and learn about your issue from him and his co-host. He knows his stuff and he treats anyone is his care so incredibly well. Call the office and see him. You will not be unhappy with your experience. He gets flown out to do work across the country and has people fly from across the country to get to him and stay in a hotel for a week or more to get their surgery taken care of then see someone local to them for maintenance. (also the staff are amazing. They run a tight ship. When I walk through the door they say - "Afternoon Mr. Jeremy. We've got you all checked in and they will get you back shortly. " That is quality service.

Negative experience: I found this place and thought it would be good to take my mom here. Initially Doctor Choi seemed cool. But I noticed on visits after that it seemed as if our concerns did not matter to him. I felt as though I and my family was an annoyance. But aren’t doctors suppose to make you feel safe and answer any concerns you have? Especially when a family member is going into a serious surgery. He also made my mom seem like an odd case. When she is not! After a few visits I was beginning to lose hope. When we would voice our concerns this seemed to be an issue. They made mistakes on a few things and asked us to come back into the office to correct this. I was beginning to question whether or not they knew what they were doing! I voiced my concerns with the doctor and his team. They didn’t seem to like that very much…Closer to us making a decision about surgery dates etc the doctor called my mom personally and told her he does not feel comfortable working with her. I was utterly astounded. He never once answered my questions in a professional manner and preferred to talk about the most off topic things! Things like Twitter, our current government, celebrities and more Etc. I am protective of my mother and I would guess anyone is protective of their family member who would be undergoing a very important surgery. I ended up searching for another doctor. I found an amazing new doctor at Fast New Smile located in Dallas. This doctor does seminars at universities for work like this, so he is top notch at this surgery. This doctor took the time to answer our questions and doesn’t see it as a threat. He also also proved that my mom was not an odd case. She has an amazing smile now and is living her best life. I would not recommend Dr. Choi or his practice to anyone. Go elsewhere if you can. I began to think recently that maybe all of this happened for a reason because we ended up finding an amazing doctor, so it all ended up working out.

Fantastic experience: I took my autistic son here to have an implant done where he had a molar removed. They did a great job with him. I like that they have guest wifi access so I was able to work while he was having his surgery. The wait has never been long which is big for me. I like offices that respect your time. I don't think I will ever get my son to like dental work but he didn't fight me for the follow ups which says a lot!! Easy to get to and easy parking.

Fantastic experience: I lost my front crown and I desperately drove to every dentist near me and none of them were able to get me a temporary fix until I called this office, they agreed to see me within an hour, the staff made me feel so welcomed, they even brought me a warm drink as I waited for a bit. The minute Dr Nguyen Walked in, it just felt like he was an old friend, he went above and beyond to get me taken care of, and he promised he wouldn’t let me leave the office without a front tooth, and he sure did get me a new identical crown before I left and he refused to charge me for it, since I will be getting an implant next. Fantastic experience: If there is six star, I would give six star. I consulted Dr. Choi about my mother's all-on-4 procedure. He was super helpful during our zoom meeting. He did free zoom consultation after he reviewed my mother's CBCT scan sent through my email. I am so grateful for his patience and willingness to talk to us. The cost is reasonable too. I have to drive my mother to Texas from Lincoln, NE. This is a big issue since I have two young children (4.5 years old and 11 months old) at home. The long distance travel is a big hurdle for us to overcome. We wish we could be closer to Dr. Choi. We will give more comments when we go to see Dr. Choi in person.

Fantastic experience: My dentist was concerned with my wisdom teeth being very close to my alveolar nerve. I chose Dr. Choi for his knowledge and experience with wisdom teeth and such nerve. The 3.5 hour drive was worth it. 8 hours post-surgery all numbness was gone and after two full days the majority of pain is gone (still on meds). Thank you Dr Choi!

Fantastic experience: Dr Choi is awesome, I'm a 6' 250 lb male that is deathly afraid of Dentist and had to have 2 upper rear teeth extracted. On top of his chairside manner, his willingness to discuss the procedure and his friendliness, Dr Choi is just a great guy. Never have I felt so at ease in a dental chair. Was out a few seconds after the injection and woke up feeling great. 24 hrs now and no pain feeling great and blessed that I found a Dr this close and 1 that cared as much as he did for my comfort. Fantastic experience: I can honestly say that I was extremely happy with the care that Dr. Choi and his staff provided for my surgery. I had a soft (connective) tissue graft, often referred to as a gum graft, and I chose NTDS after substantial research and determining that Dr. Choi had the extensive knowledge and expertise on performing this type of surgery above all other doctors in North Texas. Recovery is 50% on the doctor performing exceptional surgery and 50% on the patient following recovery directives which means that if not performed correctly, it may not matter how much you follow the directives. Dr. Choi's background in perfecting his surgical method for a gum graft made it seem like he covered 75% instead as the surgical outcome was phenomenal! From the moment I walked into the office in his Grapevine location, I was greeted with a warmth of smiles from everyone behind the counter! The consultation was very informative, even after I had researched a lot of the information about the procedure on the NTDS's website; Dr. Choi uploads an amazing amount of details for all the different types of surgeries you may be having. I was one of Dr. Choi's last patients for the day so I knew he had been working long and most likely be a little tired; however, he came into the room with a pep in his step like he was just starting the day! He thoroughly explained everything that was going on, the causes, and what can be done in simple terms. Even after I asked a follow up question, instead of just saying something like "yea, so it's like this," he took additional time to take me to the x-ray machine and pull up my pictures to go over in detail exactly what was happening even if he had to stay a little later. I like knowing exactly what's going on with my body as I'm sure everyone else does so I was very grateful and happy that he understands that. I had a larger than normal root and a thinner than normal jaw bone in that location which prompted concern as the gum was thin enough to see partially see the entire root. To help cover that exposed root and not let the tooth uproot after removing braces, he was able to perform a soft tissue graft and pack that area on the inside arch of my lower teeth (a VERY tough location to perform this surgery). Dr. Choi's technique is astounding as my pain after surgery was maybe barely a 2/10 for 2-3 after the surgery, and then virtually normal (personally, didn't need any pain killers), and his after-treatment care and advice helped progress my recovery even quicker than anticipated. If you are looking for a Doctor that is an expert in his field and provides the care to his patients that you've always wanted, I cannot say enough how much Dr. Choi and NTDS will exceed your expectations! He had hosted a small get together for patients where they could actually win a raffle for surgery prizes and other things that would help some people with costs during these tough times. This gave him the chance to get to know his patients more out of the chair. I hope to hear something about winning one of the prizes. I also have to give a quick shout out to my remarkable Treatment Coordinator herself, Queen Jackie! She provided both a calming and exciting energy when going through all the insurance, planning for my gum graft surgery, and every time I walked into the office. I'm so happy I got to meet her because she is one of the must know people in order to have a great experience! I am very rarely impressed since I can sometimes hold such high standards for medical treatment and care, but Dr. Choi and his entire staff exceeded my expectations and will not dissapoint you. If you need a gum graft or any other kind of oral surgery he performs, this is the place to be!

Fantastic experience: I went into today for a tooth extraction that had two root canals done on it previously but other offices. The staff here is beyond personable, very patient with explaining the processes and procedures, and answering the many, many questions I had. This morning I went in very, very nervous. Fantastic experience: Dr. Choi and his staff are awesome! I had gum grafting done on six teeth in October. This is the 3rd time over the years that I've had grafting done and this time was BY FAR the best experience with the best results. Dr. Choi was very thorough in his explanation and game plan, and the surgery went off without a hitch! He and his staff are so nice and friendly...I am always greeted with big, welcoming smiles each time I go. I am so glad I chose Dr. Choi for my grafting!!
