Fantastic experience: I had an excellent experience at Stonebridge Dental. I recently underwent a root canal treatment followed by a crown, performed by Dr. Bolton. Dr. Bolton was extremely professional, thorough, and attentive to every detail throughout the entire process. He took the time to explain the treatment clearly and made sure I felt comfortable and well cared for. The entire clinic team was outstanding — kind, welcoming, and highly professional. From the moment I walked in, I felt that I was in very capable hands. I truly appreciate the high level of care and professionalism and would highly recommend Stonebridge Dental to anyone looking for exceptional dental treatment.

Fantastic experience: Being new to the area, I needed to find a dentist and saw Stonebridge Dental as being highly rated so I figured I’d give them a call. As luck would have it, I called and they had an opening for me in 90 minutes. I hustled over, got registered and before you know it, the dental hygienist Kim was cleaning my teeth. Kim was fun to talk to and did a great job. Dr. Alarcón did a thorough exam and I was on my way. Everyone was warm and welcoming and I’m happy I found Stonebridge Dental!

Fantastic experience: At 61 years old I’ve had a lot of dental work and the Stonebridge office and Dr Bolton are the best Ive found. Had an extraction that I had put off way too long and they were really great, put me at ease and when I asked when he was pulling it , he shows me the tooth, already out and I didn’t even know it. That’s a pro in my book, and the new dental chair with the massage option almost put me to sleep . May go back and have good teeth removed because I need a nap dealing with Rescue dogs all day. Dr. Le also came in and checked on me to make sure everything was okay and talked me through my dental plan and explained everything perfectly. Negative experience: Very nice people. But hardly experienced. Tooth was broken underneath. Referred to an oral surgeon. Gave me an antibiotic. Who knows what for. No pain medicine. Total waste of time

Fantastic experience: I haven’t had a better dental experience in the 5+ years we’ve been in DFW. This office is amazing! Dr Bolton was TOP NOTCH along with the dental hygienists and dental assistants! I really cannot find the words to explain what a 180 experience this office provided over the multiple we’ve tried since moving to the area. Will definitely be sticking to this group!

Negative experience: This place is a mill. Here’s why: At first, everything seemed fine. I came in with healthy teeth, but they noticed a small lesion or patch in the back of my mouth. I wasn’t experiencing any pain or bleeding, but they made it sound urgent — enough to get me worried. They asked if I suck on candy or use tobacco (I don’t and it would be very obvious if I did), then said maybe chips or veggies caused it and told me to come back in two weeks. I did. The hygienist said it looked better. But when the dentist came in, she contradicted that — saying it hadn’t really changed. Suddenly, they’re recommending a gum specialist from the mention of the first visit. What stood out: • The “gum specialist” first seemed like someone they’d refer me to — now they say he’s actually in-house. • They couldn’t tell me what the lesion was — just vague guesses. • They sprung a surprise mention of $90+ or more charges after I was already in the chair, without verifying insurance beforehand. • I had to ask for the billing code myself just to call my insurance. They didn’t offer to help. Looking back, it feels like I was cycled through vague visits and upsold into more appointments without clear answers. Now I’m reading other reviews and realizing this is a pattern.

Positive experience: I really like the dentist and the clinic, but I was disappointed with how this situation was handled. I was given an estimate based on what the insurance supposedly approved and paid my copay accordingly. However, when I arrived for my next appointment, I was told that the insurance didn’t cover part of the previous treatment, leaving me with an unexpected balance. And informed that the remaining treatment would now cost nearly three times more than originally quoted. I wish I had been informed about this in advance. Patients deserve accurate information before treatment.

Negative experience: Unfortunately this is the last time I will be coming here. Very very expensive prices compared to other dental offices out there. Paid way too much out of pocket for a very simple procedure that I have had done in the past. Paid $165 for a 1 min exam when all I did was just chip a VERY little piece of my front tooth. That doesn’t even include the actual procedure which was an extra $305. Took 5 min to complete , definitely do your proper research get multiple quotes from other locations first.

Fantastic experience: After a lot of research, we finally found a great and safe place for both of my girls for all their dental needs. My toddler was treated with care, and the doctor is truly amazing and loving with kids. They listen patiently, give you enough time to feel comfortable, and clearly explain your treatment plan and hygiene recommendations. The doctor is also available via text sometimes, if needed. The staff is incredibly helpful and caring as well. I would highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a great pediatric dentist in the Frisco-McKinney area.

The doctor was also very professional and explained what she would be reviewing in subsequent visits (I am in my late sixties and have several OLD fillings and a root canal). I was asked if I had questions and was never pressured into additional treatments or products. I would and will recommend this practice to anyone needing dental cleaning.

Positive experience: For my second visit, I had an oral lesion removal. Almost everything was fine until I left for work. I was told that I could remove the gauze after 30 minutes. When I did, my tongue started bleeding again and I didn't have any extra gauze! My original gauze was already soaked up with blood and saliva. I didn't want to stick that back in mouth! If Stonebridge would have provided some extra gauze for the road, it would have been very considerate! I'm docking a star from previous review. Luckily, work had some gauze, but I had to scramble to look for it. First time here! Staff is very welcoming and knowledgeable. State-of-the-art equipment. Alex took great care of me! Highly recommended!

Fantastic experience: Kim was a fantastic hygienist! My gums are usually so sore after a cleaning, but Kim was gentle but thorough, as well as super sweet! I'm so excited to come back next week for my fillings. My sweet little 4 month old was very entertained by everyone in the office, and even fell asleep in another hygienist's arms while I was getting all taken care of. This is definitely the best dentist office I've ever been to!

After visiting Stonebridge Dental I feel right at home. I have a long history of cavities and for that reason am very anxious to be at the dentist. However, the staff made me feel very comfortable and were able to explain my situation and options in detail which I have never had done before.

Negative experience: I went to this dental office back in Sept 2024. I had pain in my teeth. After multiple ex rays they mentioned i need root canal and send me to Mckinney Endo. This Endo did root canal on my wisdom tooth and still I am having pain in my teeth. I called stone bridge and they said nothing they can do and contact Mckinney Endo. Very poor customer service and refused to talk with me. I do not recommend this dental office.

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend Stonebridge Dental, the staff is professional and makes every effort to make the visit as pain free and comfortable when your getting a procedure done. I appreciated Catrina effort in trying to keep me relaxed knowing I had to make the decision to have a tooth extracted and a implant procedure. Appreciate Dr Bolten's recommendation and the fine job Dr Ortiz and her assistant did in extracting tooth and the initial phase of a tooth implant. It was better than I expected - thank you all!!

Negative experience: Gum graft surgery, post doc visit for removing sutchers. The office didn’t have the correct tools for the job. The two types of scissors on hand were unable to cut the sutchers and instead would cinch down on them causing a painful pull on the gums. Do this 3 to 6 times on each sutcher and you’re in for a very painful experience. Even after the appointment I’m still finding sutchers and attempting to cut them out. Nail clippers work great. I’m not sure if it is the office’s responsibility to have such a tool on hand or in this case with it being a specialized pair of scissors needed, falls on the traveling doctor. But will say that it shouldn’t have been so painful. Everyone was nice, but it wasn’t a pleasant experience.

Negative experience: This review IS NOT about the hygienist or dentist for routine care at Stonebridge Dental. I was very happy with their service. This review is about their specialty service, in particular, Dr. Liu. He performed gum surgery on me at this clinic and did not manage expectations of surgery or recovery. It is the most traumatic event in my life. After going through this horrendous event, the front of my gums have worse recession then before. Be warned, do not use Dr. Lui.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Lee is the best dentist I’ve ever had. The assistant today was Raza, and he is very professional and polite. I’ve had several assistants, and they are all awesome. Go see Dr. Lee and you will see how great she treats your teeth

Fantastic experience: Where to start... Dr. B and his entire team, Dr. Ortiz and her team, and the staff at Stonebridge are diligent, kind, and extremely well trained. I had a full mouth extraction and 8 implants on one day. The temporary prosthetics looks life like and I can't wait to get my final prothesis. I will never visit another office. Fantastic experience: I have gone to Dr Bolton at Stonebridge Dental for over ten years, and this is a great practice. Everyone is super friendly yet professional at the same time. I have had everything from routine cleaning to Invisalign braces, and I have been more than satisfied every time. I would definitely recommend this dentistry. Fantastic experience: After not having been to a dentist in years due to prior issues and anxiety I had a bit of an emergency situation. I called Stonebridge Dental and they were able to get me in between appointments as a new patient. After completing my new patient paperwork ahead of the visit instead of having to do it in office and wait, I was seen within 5 min of arriving for my appointment time. After meeting the assistant who would be helping me before the Dr arrived she proceeded to ask me all about my dental History and the reason for my visit, not judging me for my lack of seeing a dentist and making sure I was well taken care of and everything documented correctly. After explaining what would be happenign for my exam and each step along the way ensuring I didn’t have any additional questions I was seen by the Dr. She also again listened to me, didn’t judge me, went step by step explaining what would be happening and coming to the conclusion for my proposed treatment plan with detailed pricing broken down by the line and with my insurance coverage so I wasn’t surprised in the end. Overall one of the best experiences I’ve ever had at a dentist and I will gladly be going back when needed and strongly recommend them for your needs as well.

Negative experience: I'm a new patient and I will be a regular from now on. They gave me an appointment sooner than any other office. The pandemic derailed my cleanings and now I am back on track. And they fixed a little chip I had right there on the spot. No back and forth. Edit: Will not be going back. They missed a bad infection over one of my molars at my last check up (X-rays) and cleaning. I had to go to another dentist it to be found.

I have had the unfortunate opportunity to spend extensive time in the chair recently. Unfortunate because nobody likes dental work, but I cannot say enough about Dr. Le's professionalism and care for her patients.
