Negative experience: We have been patients for 8 years now. The dentist and hygienists are professionals except the place turned into a money grab dental cabinet. We have had cases for incorrect billing and if you do not review the charges with your insurance, you would end up paying more. I do not know what is happening at that facility but we are done with them. There are more dental places open now in the Prosper and Celina areas with open arms. Choosing money over long term partnership is so lame!

Dr. Land, the dental assistants, and the ladies that handle scheduling and payment were compassionate, understanding, and very patient with me as I went through the process. Fantastic experience: I recently had 8 very old fillings replaced by Dr. Land. I've been coming to Minty Fresh for years, and routine cleanings were always a pleasant experience - on time, friendly staff, nice environment. I had another positive experience with the filling replacements. We replaced 2 or 3 at a time, over 3 visits, to reduce my stress and anxiety (the sound of the drill is not one of my favorites). Each time, the experience far exceeded my expectations - pain free, high quality results, perfect fit 'right the first time'. I highly recommend Dr. Land and his team at Minty Fresh. He is a talented dentist and he has the "A-Team" there in his office. Thank you!

Negative experience: Be very aware of what your out of pocket will be. My wife went for routine cleaning today and ended up paying $$$ out of pocket as they did not tell her that the laser cleaning was not covered by insurance. Very unethical, only behind money

Negative experience: I recently visited Dr. Land for a preventative dental procedure involving fillers for two of my molars. Unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory and has left me feeling quite distressed. Upon arriving at the clinic, I anticipated a routine procedure; however, I was met with a level of roughness from Dr. Land that made the experience traumatic. The discomfort began during the procedure itself, where I felt that my concerns were not adequately addressed. The dental assistant quickly recognized my distress and fear, which indicated to me that this was not an isolated incident. Following the treatment, I experienced significant pain that lasted for two weeks. This pain was severe enough to disrupt my sleep and daily activities. In an attempt to seek help, I reached out to the emergency phone number provided by the clinic over the weekend but received no response. This lack of communication during a critical time added to my frustration and anxiety. It wasn’t until Monday morning, after persistently calling at 7 AM when the office opened, that I was able to secure an appointment with Dr. Land. After three long weeks of trying to determine the source of my pain—pain that had not existed prior to this procedure—I sought a second opinion from another specialist at a different facility who finally diagnosed the issue. Throughout this ordeal, there was a notable absence of follow-up care from Dr. Land’s office. He never reached out to check on my recovery or address my ongoing issues, which is concerning for any healthcare provider. As a result of the rough handling during the procedure, I now suffer from a severe case of TMJ (temporomandibular joint disorder). Additionally, there is damage to one of my crowns caused during his treatment process. This has led to further complications and discomfort that could have been avoided with more careful attention and proper technique. Overall, my experience with Dr. Land was disappointing and distressing due to inadequate care and communication throughout the process. I would advise potential patients to consider these factors before proceeding with treatment at this practice.

Fantastic experience: This session was a routine cleaning and fluoride treatment.

Negative experience: I've been a resident of Prosper for 13 years. I try to give my business to local SMBs and in this case Minty Fresh Dental. I get my teeth clean every 4 month as a matter of choice. I have very health teeth as acknowledge but there previous temp Dental Hygienist ( Miriam) @ Minty Fresh; as referenced by every other office that cleaned my teeth the last 10 years. Yesterday, Feb 12th 2025, I went in for my schedule cleaning and it was a terrible experience. Trying to force other pay for service procedures without being requested by the patient, is not acceptable. When I declined the extras, the dental hygienist threw her hands up in frustration. VERY Unprofessional. I was about to get up out of the chair and walk but since they did the x-rays already I stayed. In general, we are in a time where the trust level for the medical profession is at the lowest in history and for valid reasons. Train your staff better! You are not doing us a favor we are doing you one by providing you business. No one is going to force any procedure on me that I don't want. There is probably 15 different dental office in prosper. Time for a switch

Since then, his office has been kind enough to work me in on short notice as well. We’ve been searching for a family dentist for a while and I’m very glad we found Minty Fresh. Fantastic experience: Where do I begin. Appointment time at 1pm for a cleaning. I didn’t get out of there until almost 2:30 pm. Wait time was horrible and the normal hygienist is no longer there. The replacement was ok but hurt my mouth several times and had to stop her. The doctor comped my laser treatment but when I tried to check out they wanted to charge me for it. Just a mistake. Not my best dentist visit and reminded me of why I didn’t used to like going to the dentist. We well see what October brings.

Negative experience: The hygienist didn’t even greet me by my name and didn’t give me her name. They took a ton of X-rays and then she said I need an intense cleaning because of some gum issues. My former dentist never in 12 years told me that. I got up and left because they weren’t going to clean my teeth today. I didn’t wait to meet the dentist. Going back to my former dentist even though he’s out of network. I would not recommend anyone going to MintyFresh. Very uninviting. Only wants money.

Negative experience: This was my first visit. They did xray and gum checkup. Finally ended with another appointment for cleaning(insurance), flouride ($38) and laser cleaning ($68). First visit is entirely insurance claim. I had 4 dentist appointments when in fortworth, Tx. All 4 had deep cleaning/flouride part of insurance and first visit was xray/ gum checkup /flouride.
