Assure Dental of Colton

Negative experience: This place has one of the more incompetent and rude staff I have seen. The dentist himself is very nice and proficient at what he does. However, to get to him you have to navigate a staff that is not only rude but also deeply lacking in knowledge about how insurance procedures or other services they offer work. While it is understandable for staff to not have the knowledge to questions patients are asking, one would imagine that if they do not have the information that they would transfer to someone who does or tell you they will get back to you with the information. Instead they just make up information just to get you off the phone, which has turned out to be incorrect. Sometimes they will say things are not covered just to avoid doing the paperwork, then you have to call your insurance and run around to get your basic access. When you attempt to ask more questions or advocate for yourself they will be incredibly rude with you and gaslight you about details and never take any accountability. If you get lucky and have a straightforward case or you have the will power to push through all this to get to the doctor maybe give this place a try. They used to have really sweet staff before and a kind office manager, Daniel. But the current office manager in clearly cultivating an environment where she is enabling poor communication with patients and giving them poor access to their coverage. This place is currently well rated but it is mostly older ratings before the current staff came on board. I expect the ratings to go down unless the practice takes serious efforts to train the staff.

Positive experience: Mostly everyone was nice. The DA she was really nice and the Dentist took his time. I would recommend family and friends to them.

Negative experience: Worse place to get seen for any kind of dental work, unless you're willing to pay 1,000 for a cleaning. Dr tells you one thing and then the biller comes in with a whole different quote about your teeth, after the actual Dr just walked out of the room, waste of time, I will make sure to let all 400 of my coworkers dont come here.

Fantastic experience: Me and my son just went there for his cleaning yesterday and the dentist assistant (Irish)explain everything she was using was in the products and was friendly while doing her job this company is lucky to have her Thanks Irish

Fantastic experience: Awesome service from start to finish. My appointment started right on time, and the staff was courteous, friendly, and made me feel comfortable throughout the entire visit.

Negative experience: We were long-time patients and originally stayed with this office because of the excellent service from the former staff—Mayra, Jasmin, and Daniel. On October 6, 2025, I brought my son for his routine orthodontic appointment. He was told treatment would not be provided unless I paid $1,000 immediately. I explained that a duplicate account had been created at the start of his treatment and that our initial payments were recorded there, which is why our balance should be current. Despite this, he was turned away. I returned with documentation, including our contract and a receipt reflecting the balance. The manager, Lilia Montgomery, stated that none of this mattered without individual receipts for each payment. When I explained that would require sorting through nearly two years of bank statements, she shrugged and repeated that I needed receipts. The interaction was unprofessional and discourteous. Based on this experience, we will not be returning.

Fantastic experience: Special thank you to the beautiful girls at the front desk and my X-ray tech for being extremely helpful and friendly(entire staff honestly ) The dentist and his assist were super attentive informative and kept checking on me I think they can tell I was nervous . The treatment plan was very direct and let me know what to expect each visit while knowing the cost ahead of time . Definitely recommend this location .

This is probably one of the only offices that the dental assistant and doctor make her feel comfortable enough for her to tell me she can go in by herself to get fillings done. Negative experience: Run far away from here. I have the top PPO in the state due to my husband is a longshoreman and they tried to rip me off. I was fitted for a temp crown in 9/2023 they tried to bill me for half of a deep cleaning and a permanent crown. They tried it all of $880.00. I called Delta and they said I was only responsible for 200 of a 1000.00 bill. I never came back because of the amount they tried to charge. Now I’m getting my crown put in and my new dentist (Loma Linda grads) (and that I can only get 1 every 5 years) said this office billed me for my permanent crown. I’m here at this office and they are trying to collect 800.00 still. Is this legal? Please don’t come here. They are absolutely HORRENDOUS!!!

Fantastic experience: I've never had a dentist office be so honest and offer so many options. I received a full breakdown of what my insurance covered and didn't cover. I received options I've never heard before. I've been to several Dental offices and never have I received this type of service. They do a great job.

Negative experience: Well, finally, I have decided to express myself about this Horrible place. It’s been more than a month that I visited this location in the last. the reason why I say the last is because it has been the worst experience of my life at a dental office and not planning to go back. I hope my experience will help other people to really think about going to this place. everything started with my dental treatment with a dentists that I was really comfortable with because he took his time to explain my situation and what will be the best solution for me to be better and feel better right after as usual with every dental office a staff member goes over the $$$$$ right away which here his name is Daniel he told me the cost for my whole treatment was going to be $3000 me knowing my situation was okay about it, after several months of going through my treatment with the same dentist the took care from the beginning one day I was treated by a different Dentist so I thought that this guy was there to help and assist the dentist that started my treatment plan, after a few weeks I went back to this place because I had a discomfort from my last treatment with the other dentist so I end up finding out that the 1st dentist that had a plan and knew what needed to be done got replaced to make a story short, Daniel’s assistant walked into the room to let me know that I still needed to pay another $2000 for my treatment to be done which I was not aware she called Daniel over to talk to me about it,so I told him that I’m 100% that what I was told that all I needed to pay was the $3000 for my whole treatment so now he was telling me something different this situation made me really upset so I decided to just get up from the chair and walk out of this office. it’s been more than 2 months since and no one has taken the time to at least give me a call to discuss the confusion with my treatment so please be really careful with this kind of people that all they care about is the money and not your wellbeing.

Fantastic experience: First off I would like to say the dentist stresses me out. I've had bad experiences other places and have been to 3 different dentist in the last 10 years. Well, behold there's hope! From the moment I walked in I felt I made the right decision. Friendly and welcoming staff. I went from having bad anxiety and not going to the dentist for years to making sure I book all my cleanings. Thank you to the whole staff.

Fantastic experience: I'm horrible with names but they always seem to remember me and it's very comforting to be addressed by your name when you enter an office. The girls at the front desk are always in good spirits and a pleasure to talk to. Daniel is awesome and has helped me with planning my appointment around my crazy schedule for my root canal. The doctors are caring and very particular about your health and your teeth - an extreme welcome thing! Lastly, the hygienist was careful, took her time and my teeth feel wonderful now. I'd recommend this office to everyone --- I've been to several over the years and this is where I'm going to stay.

Fantastic experience: We recently relocated from LA County and where looking for a new dentist, my 13yr old was not happy that we had to replace her last and only dentist. Here they pride on service and their friendly staff reflects it, Daniel in the front desk is very informative and nice. Dentist was very patient with my 2yr old, while doing her visual exam. My 13yr old was also very happy after her cleaning and I will be returning soon for my appointment.

Fantastic experience: I've been at Assure Dental of Colton a few times already. The staff is always friendly and transparent. My dentist, who I cannot recall his name for the life of me, is also equally awesome. My only complaint about this place is the way to get to it, which is more of a city planning problem then a dentist office problem. Update: 22Mar23 Another good day at the dentist, despite the cavities I managed to create. They were able to take care of me on the spot.
