Fantastic experience: I had a really great experience at California Dental Group here in Riverside today. I went in for a routine cleaning, X-rays, had my wisdom teeth removed and personalized a care plan for(aligners) all in the same visit. From the moment I walked in, the front office staff was welcoming, helpful, and worked with me to make everything easy and stress-free. The hygienist was gentle and thorough during my cleaning and X-rays, explaining everything clearly along the way. The dentists were professional, efficient, and very reassuring. I was definitely a little nervous about getting my wisdom teeth pulled, but they made the entire process smooth and comfortable. Everyone was kind, attentive, and made sure I felt at ease throughout my appointment. I truly appreciate how efficient and comforting the whole team was. I highly recommend this office to anyone looking for quality dental care!

Positive experience: They are really nice here and very fast with their service. I went to another dental office that made me feel like a number. And they would overbook me, and forget why I was visiting. Very unprofessional. But this office recalls my face and name as soon as I walk in. And they get me in within 10 mins of my arrival and they do a great job and I'm gone. Only thing is I wish they were open on Fridays and Mondays so it's kind of limited on scheduling but they still do a great job.

The environment was pleasant and the dental staff and doctor was very caring and helpful I will recommend California dental group to friends, family and anyone who's looking for a great dentist, l will be returning.

Negative experience: Worst experience I’ve had with a dental office. Just got called because I had a tooth extraction schedule this morning for three days. Just said they need to reschedule for next Saturday. Before this had two teeth misdiagnosed. Had a tooth scheduled for a root canal for two weeks. Called me morning of then and said oh we can’t do it need to see a specialist. Why wait two weeks to tell me. Had another tooth that “just needed a filling”. Halfway through the procedure Dr stops and is like my bad I think it needs a route canal instead. Put a temporary filling in and send me on my way. Smh

Negative experience: It was horrible service and when it’s was my turn to go get checked they won’t let my 3 daughter go inside with me and they have separation anxiety with me so I was very unhappy with that. My daughters where out in the waiting room the hole time I was getting cheeked and I was worried the hold time and was very uncomfortable.

Positive experience: I've visited this dentist office a few times and while the environment is very clean, the overall experience leaves something to be desired. The cleanings don't feel as thorough compared to other places I've been, and the visits often feel rushed, as if the focus is on moving patients through quickly. There's no fluoride varnish applied, and the to-go bags with basic dental essentials are not always provided. Overall, it feels like basic care is provided, but without the extra attention to detail that makes a visit feel more personalized.

Negative experience: THIS PLACE IS A SCAM. My husband went in because he had a tooth abscess. Giselle the manager explained to him his options. He decided to get a tooth extraction because getting an implant would have cost over $4,000+. A tooth extraction with no bone graph alone we were told it was $675 and of course, we HAD no prior knowledge regarding price ranges of a tooth extraction. So $675 compared to thousands of dollars for an implant, we went with that option. Than she offered him their yearly dental plan "Proactive " for a few dollars more and we paid a total of $695 which meant the plan supposedly was $20. But after reviewing the dental plan and the fact that I was charged two separate transactions $400 from their office and $295 from the plan made me realize that the tooth extraction was not $675 like she said and instead it was $400 but she made us believe that so we can pay for the dental plan that was $295 and not $20. I asked for an itemized bill 2xs before the appointment of the tooth extraction, and she refused to give it to me. On the day of the extraction I asked for it again and confronted her to why she said the tooth extraction was $675 when in reality it was $400 and the yearly plan was not $20 and instead it was $295. I asked for a full refund of the plan ($295) and she was hesitant to refund it but eventually did. I guess the 1 star is for their cleanliness because if I can I would rate this place ZERO stars. I can only imagine how many other people she has done this to.

I would recommend them to anyone who is afraid to go to the dentist. You will have a great experience. The doctor is so professional and kind. My son has a seizure disorder & they were really concerned & asking how is was doing. My son said he didn’t feel anything and had no pain during the procedure having his wisdom tooth and another tooth extracted. They really care about their patients. Their prices are fair as well. They also do payment plans for people without insurance. Greatly appreciate finding such a wonderful dentist!

Fantastic experience: I just went to this dentist with major tooth pain and this place took me in on a Saturday close to closing. I’m usually not the type to go to places close to closing time but I couldn’t stand the pain. The dentist and his staff were super patient with me and listened to my concerns. It sucks that I couldn’t get treatment at the moment but it was due to insurance purposes, but the doctor was able to help relieve the pain temporarily and give me medication. Highly recommend this place, everyone truly cares for their patients and I’m very grateful.

Fantastic experience: I am 65 years old and have been a Riversider most of my life. I have had bad experiences at dentist offices more than once in Riverside over the years. This caused me to delay getting much needed dental care done. About a year ago a friend of mine told me about California Dental on Chicago and Third. I am blessed to have found this place and I have had quite a bit of work done there in the past year. The workers are awesome, the prices are fair and most of all “no more pain”. Highly recommend!
