Fantastic experience: Our doula recommended Dr. Jaju after our son was diagnosed with both a lip tie and tongue tie, and we’re so grateful she did. From beginning to end, the entire experience was wonderful. Everyone on the team was incredibly kind, helpful, and supportive throughout the entire process. They took such great care of our son and always checked in between follow-up appointments to see how he was doing. We immediately felt that he was in caring and capable hands. Since the procedure, our son has been able to latch and breastfeed much more easily, which has made such a meaningful difference for us. We’re incredibly grateful to Dr. Jaju and her entire team for the care they provided to our son and our family. I also have to mention the baby lounge area, which was such a thoughtful and helpful touch. Being able to breastfeed and change his diaper before getting back on the road made the experience so much easier, especially with a newborn. It’s clear they really thought about the needs of both babies and parents. We highly recommend Dr. Jaju and her wonderful team!

Fantastic experience: We had a wonderful experience at Smile Wonders. Every staff we interacted with was so kind and compassionate. I was super worried to have my child put under dental sedation but the process went very smoothly and exactly as they said it would. They updated us throughout the procedure and my child recovered quickly. Smile wonders was our 3rd opinion when trying to decide which route we should go to help my daughters issues and I’m very happy we went with Dr. Jaju. I feel like she truly cares about her work and chose the treatment that was best for my daughters long term oral health. Dr. Jaju has a wonderful bedside manner. Fantastic experience: We took both of our daughters to be evaluated by Dr. Jaju and had a tremendous experience with both, even though the ultimate recommendations were different. We went forward with a frenectomy for one and deferred with our other. In both instances, Dr. Jaju was great to communicate with, clearly laid out what she observed, and what she believed to be the most appropriate path forward. Fantastic experience: We had a wonderful experience at Smile Wonders with our baby boy. We first came in for an upper lip tie and tongue tie consultation when he was 4 weeks old, and returned for the release procedure at 7 weeks with Dr. Jaju. She was fantastic; very knowledgeable, patient, and explained everything clearly which made us feel comfortable and informed throughout the process. We also had two follow-up appointments with Sandy, who was absolutely amazing and so kind. The entire staff was welcoming, supportive, and great with babies. The facility itself is beautiful, clean, and very family-friendly. We decided to move forward with the release due to breastfeeding latch issues as well as jaw and neck tension. Since the procedure, our baby is feeding much better and seems noticeably more relaxed with less tension overall. We are so grateful for the care we received and would highly recommend Smile Wonders to other families navigating tongue and lip tie concerns!

Fantastic experience: This is for all the parents, guardians, and caregivers out there. My child is on the extreme side of the spectrum. He cannot verbalize with his voice, but uses a AAC device. But even that is limiting. As a result, we cannot ask basic things like, “Where does it hurt, on a scale of 1-10 how badly does it hurt, what is bothering you (emotionally), how can we help?” So you can imagine, going to a basic pediatric check-up is challenging. He screams on his way there, and fights to get out of the clinic. But at his last check-up, his pediatrician was so surprised. The doctor was amazed that my son was sitting in the exam room, not fussing or screaming, but allowing him to prod and poke, to aim lights at his face, and to give him his shots. I credit this success to team at Smile Wonders. Dr. Jaju understands how to meet each child at their developmental level. When we started, my son would have to be pinned down in order to get any basic check-up done. But through monthly cleanings and check-ups, slowly practicing what it’s like to sit in the dentist chair, to have the tools in his mouth, especially anything electric or that makes a sound, he’s become this other person. The Smile Team supported his anxiety about sitting in the dentists chair and helped to acclimate him slowly. They understood that he needed short breaks during each step so that he could calm down. They would do a countdown during procedures to help with his anxiety so that he understood when it would be over. All these little moments added up into successful dentist visits with lots of smiles, and high-fives and hugs. But more importantly, it translated into the bigger picture. Which is, teaching my son that going to a dentist or doctor’s office is not something to be feared. That he can learn to be comfortable. It’s an invaluable tool to have, especially when he has so many specialists and therapists he has to see. If anyone reading this is struggling to bring their child to the dentist because of the amount of stress and anxiety involved, please know, avoiding appointments is not the solution. Going to the appointments, taking baby steps with each visit, and trusting that you and your child can do it is key. I would not have learned any of this if it was not for the loving and supportive team at Smile Wonders. And to each team member, I say thank you, thank you with all the smiles and hugs to infiniti and beyond!

Fantastic experience: Our little guy wasn't happy when his mouth was inspected, but the staff did everything to make him as comfortable as possible. He enjoyed the kids' waiting area very much, and has been playing with the balloon and frog they gave him after his visit. They were very straight forward about our options and addressed all of our concerns. We promptly got the follow up email we were promised so we could review and discuss next steps. Very sweet and attentive group of people.

Fantastic experience: We went to Smile Wonders because our baby had some oral tie issues. Dr. Jaju and Ms. Wendy answered all of our questions, fixed the oral tie issues, and were simply wonderful with our baby. The entire staff at Smile Wonders was always courteous and professional. Fantastic experience: We love love love Smile Wonders! My two kiddos have been patients of theirs since they were babies, when Dr. Jaju administered their tongue & lip tie releases. The experience was as pleasant as can be, as everything they do is with patience and utmost care for little ones. Cleanings are treated the same. Perks include a play area and huge TV in the lobby, TVs on the ceiling in each room, and kids receive prizes at the end of their visit. Fantastic experience: So happy with our results and experience with Smile Wonders! Our son needed a lip, cheek, and tongue frenectomy. Complicating matters, he was diagnosed with laryngomalacia... although this treatment is not clinically guaranteed to help with that, we found it extremely helpful and his condition and breathing has improved. Dr Jaju and team (they are all talented professionals in their own right, not just assistants by anyone's definition of the word) did a wonderful job of preparing us and ensuring we had a support system set up to be ready for the procedures. Our son did great and was back to smiling within hours! It is worth the extra mile and effort and any extra cost to go to Dr Jaju over others who may not use the waterlaser or who may not do this procedure as often.. she gets it right. The results are phenomenal. Thank you!!

Fantastic experience: We love Smile Wonders Pediatric Dental so much. My 4-year-old had a dental procedure done here to put a spacer and a crown. I was initially worried and scared to do this for the little one, but Dr. Jaju explained the need for the procedure and provided a great deal of support, so we went ahead and did it. Today, my son is so happy and has no worries about his teeth. Additionally, he used to be a picky eater, but his eating habits have changed now. So I am so happy to select Smile Wonders for his treatment, and we will continue to visit them.

Fantastic experience: It's been nearly 2 year since I started going to Dr Rishita's clinic. I cannot stress enough how good this clinic is and everyone who works here is very professional. As soon as you enter and till you get out of this place, you are greeted with smiles.I would say its a bit on the dearer side, but it's all worth it. I am very happy and would recommend this place with anyone who has young kids. I would nt be saying it if my son didn't like it, he loves his dentist and his Hygienist. At this point I would also like to add that seeing Dr Jaju, is like a breeze of fresh air.There is something so positive about her, very few professionals give out that vibe. My son feels so relaxed, this is something I never experienced as a child. So a big Thankyou for being there and looking after my son!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Jaju was absolutely amazing with our baby's frenectomy. I wish I had consulted with her long before we got sent her way. After seeing 2 pediatricians, 2 ENTs, chiro, oral therapist, and feeding specialist, we consulted with Dr. Jaju. Her office is immediately welcoming, clean, and tailored for children and babies. The staff are not just check-in techs, but women with considerable knowledge in their specialty with a lot of insight and advice. We immediately felt comfortable going ahead with the surgery and it all went very smoothly. The post-op checks were great and we even got a little "graduation" gift, which was unexpected. The only downside is they do not take any insurance and while we submitted to ours, they are not covering anywhere near the cost of the consult or procedure. However, the cost is well worth the expertise, care, and confidence of this team. I only wish they were closer to us to be able to do our pediatric dentistry.

The administration staff is organized and has a keen attention to detail that made our check in and out swift and painless. Our dental assistant Cayleigh was AHHHmazing!! She was gentle, thoughtful, and knowledgeable. Dr. JaJu knows her stuff and was also a gem with my 4 year old. Boy, do I wish there was dentist office like this when I was a kid! Fantastic experience: WOW! I cannot say enough how great this team is. My daughter needed a tie consult, and they were able to see me super quickly. And in less than a week we were able to have her procedure done. It was very clear from the consultation that Dr. Jaju is SO thorough. Notes were sent in from multiple providers and she referred to them during our meeting, showing that she definitely took the time to prepare. My 3 month old came out of her surgery no longer crying and the change in her latch and mess when using a bottle has changed literally overnight (actually more like as soon as she was out of surgery). They sent me home with a great tracker and checked in via text the next day. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Jaju and all of the staff were really professional and easy to work with. The office is very well setup for kids, including infants. My 4-month-old child had a Frenectomy done, and the procedure was fairly quick, though of course he was pretty upset. However, he started feeding quickly and I noticed an improvement right away. He had a moderate lip/tongue tip. That night, he was in a fair amount of pain and needed a lot of snuggles and TLC to get to sleep. It was tough. Thankfully, by the next morning, he was mostly himself again and we were able to start his stretches. It helped to have one person entertain him/offer support and one to do the stretches. Now that we've been through this process, I'd say I'd do a Frenectomy for my kids for most ties in the mod-severe range, but probably not for mild ties. That's just my take-away as a parent, of course. I realize that everyone's situation is a little different. Thanks to the Staff at Smile Wonders for making a difficult procedure more manageable.

When one of my children needed a cavity fixed, I was nervous because I didn’t know how he would react. But the process was smooth, Dr. Dang and her assistant walked him through each step, he barely knew anything was happening at all and in the end, the only thing he was worried about was not being able to hear his movie! No ouchies, no tears and lots of good dental memories for these kiddos for sure ❤️

When my child needed a frenectomy release at 5 years old, Dr. Jaju made sure my child felt comfortable and listened to. Fantastic experience: Dr Jaju, assistants and Cayleigh were great during our first visit; my son Malachi’s treatment is to have extractions, cavities removed and covered with metal caps. The first initial visit my he was very anxious but they did their best to reassure him; he wasn’t having it. I did feel a little embarrassed because he was screaming lol but the staff totally understood since he is 5. Leading up to the procedure my communication with Cayleigh was nonstop. Our situation was different but they all worked with me and my husband to get the best care for him. I loved how they took care of him like he was a family member. I definitely appreciate the time it took to explain and maybe re-explain information if I didn’t understand something. Their care, communication and patience is like none other. We’re grateful for Smile Wonders and all they have to offer.

Fantastic experience: First of all, if you’re child has special needs, DO NOT hesitate to come here. They get it! One of my kids had a tongue tie and lip tie procedure done by Dr. Rishita, and now both my kids come here for pediatric dentistry. If your child needs to be consulted for a frenectomy, this place is perfect. They are incredibly knowledgeable, able to answer the hundreds of questions from anxious parents, and have state of the art equipment and procedures I would never have conceived of. The staff is very kid friendly and parent-understanding, whether it’s giving kids a token, for the much sought-after prize, before their check-up, or telling parents to help themselves to water, juice, or coffee. The music is kid-appropriate and not too loud. There’s an entire space for kids to play, watch a movie on a giant flat screen, and even iPads mounted on the walls to play games. Dr. Rishita is officially one of my favorite people. She’s kind, and gentle to the kids, but also gets to the task at hand without being clinical. And she’s funny! The techs are also very personable, a very rare thing at pediatric dentistry. Walking into the space, a parent can feel very at ease knowing their child is in safe and welcoming hands. I cannot say enough about this special place. And I’ve seen and been to the lot of them. Especially if your child has special needs, take your child here. You’ll walk in and just know things are going to be just fine for your kiddo.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Jaju and her staff have been amazing. My four month old had a tongue and lip tie release done at three months old. I had a local pediatric dentist evaluate my son at two months old and looked in his mouth for literally five seconds, then dismissed us saying nothing was wrong. I still knew something wasn’t right. Dr. Jaju took her time doing a thorough evaluation and didn’t just visually look at my son’s mouth, but examined his function. His release was done about two weeks later and the office was nothing but supportive throughout. They are quick to respond to questions via text or email, and never made me feel dumb for asking anything. I’m so glad we decided to travel north from Fredericksburg to see Dr. Jaju and her team!

Fantastic experience: We recently took our 16-month-old son to Smile Wonders Pediatric Laser Dentistry for his very first dental visit, and it couldn’t have gone better! Dr. Rishita and her team were absolutely amazing from start to finish. So, when I knew my own child needed to have some tethered oral tissues assessed and released going to Dr. Jaju was an easy choice. My child's background and issues were complicated and Dr. Jaju and her team were beyond thorough to make sure they assessed everything completely and also to make sure it was ok to proceed. Fantastic experience: I always highly recommend Dr. Jaju’s office to my friends and family in search of an excellent pediatric dentist. Dr. Jaju guided my toddler through a lip tie revision and subsequently worked with our team of myofunctional therapists, keeping open and frequent lines of communication. She’s also quickly and efficiently examined both my son’s and daughter’s teeth for their very first dentist appointments. Fantastic experience: Our visit to Smile Wonders for our daughter's frenectomy was an excellent experience. We were initially hesitant about moving forward with the procedure since our daughter hadn't experienced feeding difficulties as a baby and was able to communicate with us well with no developmental delays. However, her kindergarten teacher noticed some speech errors, which prompted us to seek professional advice and we worked with a fantastic speech therapist who helped us decide that we needed to correct the issue to help our daughter’s articulation. Our daughter had a severe tongue tie that needed release. Dr. Jaju impressed us with her thoroughness and proven expertise. She took the time to explain the potential benefits of a frenectomy for our daughter's speech development, addressing our concerns and questions in detail. Fantastic experience: I drive 2 hours (sometimes more with traffic) to take my children to Smile Wonders. The staff is amazing. The treatment is always what is needed. The faculty is beautiful and it feels like a family. My children have had quite a bit of work done over the years with tongue/lip/cheek ties and some growth problems with their teeth and every experience is wonderful. Fantastic experience: Dr. Jaju was wonderful and very thorough on our virtual visit with our newborn, and we knew right away that we wanted to do the tongue tie/lip tie release procedure with her. She made sure we had appropriate support from an amazing IBCLC, as well as a craniosacral therapist and a feeding therapist. Because of that, our baby had a wonderful recovery from the release, and is gaining weight and nursing well. After the virtual visit, we drove from Springfield to Reston a total 4 times for pre-op visit, the procedure, and two follow up appointments, and it was worth the long drive each time. The out-of-pocket cost for the procedure was completely worth it as well. The office is beautifully laid out and all the staff are amazing - professional, knowledgeable, and compassionate. Wendy and Alyssa were particularly great!! We felt so cared for and so supported throughout the entire process!

Fantastic experience: My kiddos love this place! Every staff member is so kind, patient and attentive to all of their patients. They are also extremely communicative and thorough with the parents, which I appreciate. I never feel rushed if I have questions or concerns that need addressing. My eight year-old daughter even loves coming here and she used to be terrified of the dentist when we lived in Texas. My son just turned three and had his most recent appointment. He got to put on (in his words) the “cool boy glasses” while his cleaning and exam was done. He did so great at the appointment and kept getting high fives for his bravery from the hygienist and dentist. He is now proudly telling anyone with ears, “I didn’t have cadamies! No germs for my teefs!” :) Very glad to have a dental practice where both of my children can grow with and love for years.

Fantastic experience: I was referred to Smile Wonders by my son’s speech therapist for possible tongue tie and as a last resort after hitting a plateau eith speech therapy. Dr.Jaju looked at the whole picture and referred us to an ENT and said after that, and only after that and there is still an issue would he need to come back to see her. I hadn’t researched Smile Wonders prior to this referral but will share their name far and wide. Dr.Jaju is a big picture doctor, looking for big solutions. I don’t know that she labels herself as a holistic doctor but I would say she is looking at all factors in attempting to solve the problem not just cure a symptom. I was so impressed and really felt secure in knowing she was out for the best interest of my son’s health and not just another procedure $$$. Also they have TV’s on the ceilings, so that was a big win for my son.

Fantastic experience: We were recommended to see Dr. Jaju for consultation for upper lip, tongue, and cheek ties. Scheduling with the clinic was very easy and they booked us the next available visit. Details were thorough and confirmed via text message. From the moment we entered the clinic, the front desk was very welcoming! We were given a tour of the clinic and brought right into our room (with a newborn, this is huge!). Our evaluation intake began with Dr. Jaju's clinical assistant, Francisca, where she reviewed our paperwork and explained the appointment. Dr. Jaju then completed a thorough evaluation of my son and explained all portions along the way. She provided next steps and expressed the importance of a multidisciplinary care team. She answered all questions and we look forward to seeing her team for the procedure! If you are looking to schedule a consultation for any tongue/lip ties, I strongly recommend this practice! Coming back here to follow up as we have completed our treatment with Dr. Jaju's team. We had the procedure expertly completed by Dr. Jaju, Frannie completed initial wound care demonstration to ensure we were prepared, and follow up visits were completed by Wendy! Fantastic experience: Since birth our baby was unable to breastfeed and suffered from silent reflux. We struggled for multiple weeks to figure out how to improve her quality of life and spoke to several lactation consultants with no luck. We then made an appointment at Smile Wonders to see if the cause could be related to a tongue tie. Right away we felt comfortable with the positivity of their staff and cleanliness of their practice. During our consultation with Dr. Jaju we learned our baby had multiple ties and would benefit from a Frenotomy. Her and her staff were very thorough during her examination and spent extra time to answer all of our questions. When we returned for her procedure we were shocked with how quick and easy it went. In addition, just a day after the procedure our baby was able to latch and have her first breastfeed. Our baby is now happily breastfeeding at 2 months and her weight as well as her reflux have improved dramatically. Safe to say we highly recommend Smile Wonders and for parents to book a consultation with Dr. Jaju to learn more about their baby’s tongue tie.

Fantastic experience: Best pediatric dentist experience! I came here for my 7 yr old daughter’s lip tie procedure, and I could not have been more pleased. Every step of the way they were so encouraging to her, gave her her pick of tv show, flavor for cleaning, a balloon, prize etc. Dr Jaju noticed some areas that needed to be deep cleaned with their interoral camera which I really appreciated before it turned into a cavity. They were able to get her panoramic X-rays NO problem, it seemed completely painless! Tiara the assistant was also so encouraging and friendly. The entire lip tie procedure was also painless I was so impressed. I just wish I had her when she was a baby! Am considering switching all our kids for regular care here even with the drive.

(It made a 180 degree difference in his ability to gain weight and made nursing the experience I remembered it being for my first two babies). Fantastic experience: My two girls (ages 3 and 5 yrs) squealed with delight when we drove into the parking lot (yes, to see the dentist! :) They love the play area, putting on cool sunglasses, getting to pick a show to watch while their teeth are being cleaned, and receiving their special coin and balloon. They've had such a positive experience at Smile Wonders that they love taking care of their teeth and brushing every day to get rid of the "sugar bugs"! Amanda especially went out of her way to explain everything she was doing, build rapport and trust, and make it fun. She even got them to do their x-rays! Fantastic experience: Highly recommend! My daughter had some major discoloration and weakened enamel on her front 8 teeth due to chemotherapy and medications required for a bone marrow transplant she received when she was younger. These front teeth were the last reminders of her “sick days” and we wanted them gone…for all of our sakes. Dr Jaju listened to our concerns, offered recommendations and took the absolute best care of our daughter and her teeth. She was kind, professional and thorough. Her entire team was an absolute pleasure to work with from start to finish. My daughter is so pleased with the results and loves her new smile! Fantastic experience: The atmosphere is calming and fun for children. Highly knowledgeable and trained staff that listen to your concerns. My first child’s frenectomy was done at a different dentist and the difference in pre and post checkins and care at Smile Wonders was above and beyond what I had experienced elsewhere. Fantastic experience: i can’t recommend dr. jaju and her wonderful staff more highly! we saw her to assess and then release our newborn daughter’s lip and tongue ties. the initial telehealth appointment was so thorough and really gave us time to ask all our questions and to understand fully what going forward with the release would mean and what the process would be. when we went in for the procedure, we were blown away by how beautiful and fun the office is - such a perfect space for kids! the procedure itself was super quick and our baby was able to eat immediately afterwards. cayleigh spent time with us to show us the post care exercises and made sure both myself and my husband were able to do them. no one wants to have their newborn get any type of procedure, but dr. jaju and her team really make it as painless as possible!

Negative experience: I love this dentist but today it was disaster. Been taking my son here since he was eligible for dentist appointments signed up for THEIR dentist plan pay boat loads of money to go there. And they scheduled my son a month early for his annual checkup. The manager was “doing me a favor” and not charging for the $50 missed appointment few, how nice when this is all their fault with scheduling! Not sure if im going back or not… but something to keep in mind. This practice accepts no insurance. It almost as if they were scheduling me so I just blindly pay it. No thank you. Tons of out of pocket payments if you go here. Considering other options and I will make my decision. They arent the only pediatric dentist in town.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Jaju and Wendy are absolutely AMAZING and so great at what they do. We live in Ruther Glen and make the 2+ hour drive solely because of the amazing experience time after time. My daughter needed to have a frenectomy to correct a lip and tongue tie. Dr. Jaju was patient with our 4 week old daughter and handled her as if she were her own. Wendy was extremely helpful and made sure we left every appointment with confidence on what we needed to do as parents to help our babygirl in the healing process while also checking her progress. I couldn’t say enough good things about Smile Wonders! We will continue making the drive to keep them as her primary dental provider.

Fantastic experience: We have been going to Smile Wonders since our daughter was 2-3 months old when Dr. Jaju fixed her tongue ties and she is now almost 7 years old and sees Dr. Dang. We live in DC but make the hour commute to Reston, because my daughter just loves going there - she said recently how she wants to become a pediatric dentist when she grows up. Fantastic experience: We had a wonderful experience with Smile Wonders and can’t thank their team enough. After a lot of time spent trying to figure out our daughters gas and screams in the middle of her feedings, we decided to make an apt with Smile Wonders (after seeing multiple positive experiences in Facebook groups + my own research) to get a second opinion on possible ties - our pediatrician told us multiple times it wasn’t ties and she would grow out of the gas. We ended up giving gas drops regularly, had reflux meds prescribed, were spending 1-2 hours feeding a few oz and weren’t able to get a good latch to breastfeed so ended up exclusively pumping, we felt defeated and wanted to get our daughter relief. During our consultation with Smile Wonders, we learned out daughter had a lip, posterior tongue, and cheek ties. The Smile Wonders team wanted us to meet with a feeding therapist prior to scheduling our daughter’s frenectomy and I’m so thankful they did. I had heard others say they make you work with a bunch of other specialists but I quickly learned how extremely important it is because the release is just one piece and I’m grateful the Smile Wonders team has the experience to know this and guided us to have a successful release and recovery. We worked with a great feeding specialist, a physical therapist and now a chiropractor for much needed post release body work. Since her frenectomy, we have a very different girl. We have been able to increase oz intake and duration for feedings is dramatically different, under 15 minutes compared to the 2 hours. We have also stopped reflux meds, no screaming during feeds, and she was quickly able to do more tummy time without crying. The release itself was harder on us as parents than our girl, and it was so fast. The evening of the release, she ate less for 2 feedings and was fussy that evening for a little bit before bed and was fussy again on day 4 but that was it. I will say the mouth stretches aren’t fun for anyone and are tough to do to your baby but are so worth it, aren’t forever, and crucial for a successful healing process without having reattachment. If you are looking for a top notch experience on all levels, I highly highly recommend going to Smile Wonders!

Fantastic experience: We had a wonderful experience at Smile Wonders in Reston! Dr Jaju and her team are true professionals and we felt cared for every step of the way during our frenectomy procedure journey for our two month old daughter. We have now experienced two different providers in the area for this type of procedure and Smile Wonders was the best experience by far. If you are on the fence about which provider to go with, go with Smile Wonders! The staff members are kind, professional, and provided excellent resources and support post-procedure to ensure proper healing. Fantastic experience: Smile Wonders is a very professional dentistry office, with highly qualified doctors and assistants, and thoughtful extras to ensure children have a positive experience. From the bright and cheerful decorations, play toys in the waiting room, ceiling mounted tvs for use during visits, wonderfully pleasant staff, to a balloon and small toy after a successful visit. I couldn’t be more impressed with the level of thoughtfulness and high quality service and expertise offered. My son loves going to the dentist (and I enjoy taking him and knowing he’s getting the very best care)!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Jaju & the office team were super professional and supportive during my son’s frenectomy. They gave us a ton of information to help prepare as well as post-procedure guidelines that helped him heal quickly. We were worry warts being new parents and apprehensive about the procedure but they ensured a smooth process the entire way and we felt good to have put him in good caring arms. It was also a relief given that they were referred to us as trustworthy from our Inova Hospital lactation consultant.

Negative experience: This dentistry practice was a great first start for my son to learn how to brush his teeth. The doctors and staff are very courteous and the waiting room is very kid-friendly. That's the only reason this rating is a few stars at all... The doctors continue to push for services we deemed unnecessary just due to my son's birth history. It turned out he never had a lip or tongue tie and this expensive surgery would have been superfluous. Then earlier this year, I was informed that they would no longer be honoring our insurance plan, instead charging me out of network prices--275 dollars for just a regular cleaning!--just so they could peddle and force patients to purchase their new Smile Wonders insurance/payment plan. What a scheme, beware of this practice trying to get you to spend your hard earned money on unnecessary procedures or their sham insurance/payment plan!

Our doctors are greatly respected for their expertise with diagnosis, treatment and long-term success for lip/tongue ties. They review medical history, symptoms reported by parents, and photographs of the anatomy with parents before they make any recommendation. If you were not present at the consultation visit or do not remember the details, we encourage you to reach out to us for any clarification.
Our membership savings plan is our most popular benefit and great value customized to pediatric patients. It is not at all a requirement! We are not considered “in-network” providers with dental insurances. But, we have many patients that have traditional insurance that choose to come to us. We can STILL submit the claim electronically for you and you can get reimbursed from your insurance directly.

Fantastic experience: It is rare to have such a great experience with a business. Not only was Dr. Jaju great, but so was her entire staff from the front desk to the dental assistants. And the entire experience is done in such as way to put the kids (and their parents) at ease, and have a positive experience going to the dentist. Our daughter definitely has a bad reaching whenever we are in the vicinity of medical offices given more then a few hospital stays, and lots of doctor's visits in her first few years. We were expecting the worst - and left with a verify positive experience. We would highly recommend Smile Wonders to other parents...

Fantastic experience: Dr. Jaju was very highly recommended to me by numerous medical professionals so I had high expectations that we would get the best treatment and care dealing with my 3-week old's tongue and lip ties, and we were not let down! Dr. Jaju, Wendy and Phelecia were thorough, knowledgeable and kind throughout our consultation, treatment and follow up. It isn't easy going through these procedures with a newborn, but they made it as smooth as possible. The Smile Wonders office is so clean, well set up and a fun environment for families. The nursing room was so well stocked and welcoming for me to use before or after visits. The intense pain I'd been experiencing when breastfeeding prior to the procedures was immediately gone post-procedure and while the recovery process wasn't easy, it was all so worthwhile. I am positive I would not have been able to continue my breastfeeding journey without the revisions we received for our daughter Wynnie, and it gave me peace of mind knowing we were in the capable hands of the most highly recommended dentist to manage this type of care. Fantastic experience: We had a great experience at Smile Wonders with Wendy & Dr. Rishita Jaju. Wendy provided us guidance from our initial consultation to our final follow-up appointment post tongue & lip tie release on our now 6 week old. Dr. Jaju was patient, personable, & provided great insight regarding the ties. I felt reassured during our interaction. Our infant’s ties were released at 3 weeks. We commuted nearly 60 miles each way after receiving & reading many recommendations for the practice. I can confidently say it was well worth it to receive great care for our infant!!!
