Fantastic experience: I’ve been visiting doctor Ali since 2017, my wife’s tooth was in pain and doctor Ali attended to her immediately (Try getting this benefit from any other dentist) She was initially told she’d need a bridge etc Dr. Ali did the root canal and she’s doing well since. I’ve had a couple of deep cleaning, fillings and root canals crowns done since. The doctor treats you well, yes at times he’s busy just like any of us and you have to have patience (some one else might be in an emergency). The doctor is excellent at developing same day good fitting ceramic crowns, mentions his Xbox skills finally came handy. Post treatment the doctor always stays in touch with texts he’s always checking if you’re doing well. He gives good recommendations onsite, takes time working on you with your case, keeps his staff on their toes, tells you what he is doing and definitely wants to see you smile. Definitely recommended Doctor.

Fantastic experience: Today, Dr. Ali Miamee filled my tooth permanently that two months before was infected and was temporary filled. The procedure was very easy and went smoothly. His knowledge of his work makes me trust him more each time I need treatment for my teeth, and because of his proper manner and courtesy, all of his assistants and other dentists have made a peaceful and calm environment. These are reasons that even though I moved from Reston to the other city 30 minutes farther, I do not want to change my dentist.

Fantastic experience: Reston Town Center Dental is amazing! The staff is so friendly and welcoming, and they made my child feel completely comfortable from start to finish. The office is super clean and modern, and the dentist was gentle, patient, and great at explaining everything in a way my child understood.

Negative experience: I don't like that administrative tasks are handled while on the dentist's chair. All billing, signing of consent forms and such should be handled at reception. The office is too crowded and the dentists get interrupted frequently about any sort of matter while they have you under the microscope and it is an invasion of privacy and dangerous, since the dentist is concentrated. I also was told I had to get a root canal done to a wisdom tooth that was not comprimised in any way, shape or form and he argued with me how it was necessary, despite the lack of evidence ot it being required or needed medically speaking. After I made clear that I did not wish to have the root canal, he said "Ok", got up and walked away leaving me there alone for upwards to 10 minutes with no exit interview or anything. Unproffessional. I had to just assume I was done and walked to reception to pay and then leave.

From the beginning, he’s gone out of his way to make sure I feel safe and supported during every visit—checking in regularly, offering breaks when needed, and always making sure I’m comfortable before proceeding. What really stands out is how personalized the care is. Dr. Ali worked with me to create a payment plan that fit my situation, which made a huge difference. It’s clear he sees the whole person, not just the patient in the chair. If you’re looking for a dentist who listens, adapts, and truly cares, RTC Dental is the place. Dr. Ali has earned my trust over the years, and I’m deeply grateful for the steady, respectful care he provides.

Fantastic experience: Usually appointments are running on time with very little wait. The one visit when the wait was extended Dr Ali came out to the waiting area to personally several times to appologize.Hygienists are very good although I don't think I have seen the same one twice. Dr Ali is excellent On a prior visit at the other location he was able to save one of my teeth by redoing a botched root canal ( done by a previous dentist) that other dentists I had consulted said couldn't be saved and needed to be pulled.

Negative experience: Staff was nice but the Office didn’t look clean, older equipment, they quoted me over $7k for invisiline (other dentist quoted $4k) sans they said that after Covid they no longer clean night guards or retainers,. Which I just don’t understand. I would not recommend.

Fantastic experience: Getting your teeth cleaned is never what I’d call a pleasant experience but you gotta do it, and my usual hygienist Mayra always makes it about as close to pleasant as a trip to the dentist ever gets. I always ask the receptionist to schedule my next appointment on a day that she’s in.

Fantastic experience: I got my cleaning this morning done at RTC Dental by the dental hygienist Mayra. She did an excellent job! It didn't seem rushed, and the cleaning was very thorough. The hygienist also let me know of things I should look out for regarding the need to floss and the type of floss I should use. Very helpful.

Fantastic experience: They are very caring, have the sense of being a nice people and explaining everything that you need to know, I met one of the staff her name is Mayra she was my hygienist, she was so nice, caring and super easy going person who I felt good dealing with her in every part of visit

Positive experience: I went here for about three years, but I’m changing dentists this year. I actually really loved the dentist I saw first, but after a couple visits they started giving me other dentists and other dental hygienists. All the dentists had different opinions - something was happening to this tooth, I should buy this, I should have another procedure by x date, I should get another check up, etc. It started to feel like they were just trying to sell me more services. In a follow up survey, I asked for a second opinion after a visit because it was the first time with this particular dentist who recommended me for a procedure that I *needed* within a month or so. After that survey, my follow up appointment was canceled with no notice. I went to another dentist today and they said my teeth look fine and my oral hygiene was good. Didn’t recommend any other services at all.

Fantastic experience: Despite my incredible anxiety and terror, both Dr. Evru and Mayra, my hygienist, took incredible steps to ensure that I was heard and understood throughout the appointment. They were fine with me using a weighted blanket and small stuffed animal for a stress toy, and I would highly recommend other people go here if you're feeling a hitch of terror in your throat at just the mention of the word dentist.

Very friendly and helpful staff who take the time to explain what they are doing and what care and treatment they recommend. The hygienists are friendly and thorough making sure to check that you are not in pain. The dentists are careful, thorough, and take the time to explain what is going on with your mouth and teeth. A great experience! Plenty of free parking at the main office right off Reston Parkway near the Reston Town center. Only disadvantages are that the building is older with a somewhat dated /dark main lobby. The dental office is bright and modern but the waiting room is rather small. The dental office is on the 4th floor with two small elevators and an easily accessible stairway for those who want to walk. These minor issues don't affect the care in the least. I highly recommend RTC dental for compassionate, comfortable, and affordable dental care.

Positive experience: They called me to come in early and I did and they took me back to 15 mins after my original scheduled appointment. I rushed from work to be at the appointment early . I was annoyed but then my hygienist was very kind and knew I was not very happy and did the cleaning quickly and efficient. I was a bit light headed from not being able to eat before and she gave me some snack to help my low bp rise up. I also had exam from a different doctor from my preferred dr .

Fantastic experience: Reston Town Dental Center is a wonderful facility! Wait time is short, service is quick and thorough, it’s very clean and professional. The dental technicians are very pleasant and knowledgeable.

Negative experience: I was overcharged and have been fighting for my refund for months. I had 2 deep cleanings at the end of July and was over charged. My insurance sent my EOB and showed that I should have been charged $106.80 for each cleaning, but was charged $160 at the time of service. I have been calling the office, going in person, not once has the manager talked to me. I have been told in September that the refund will come soon. And again this November. Give me the $106.40 that I am entitled to. I am filing a grievance with my insurance company. First cleaning went well. Second, not so well. The hygienists did not let the numbing cream sit long enough before injecting me with novocaine. It was very painful. Lots of talking over me as if I was not there. Or just a dummy doll in dental school. Explain what you’re going to do me before you do it. Update: I was issued my refund. The refund came the same week that I was finally told to email the office, initiated a grievance with my insurance provider, and the same week I wrote this first review.

Negative experience: This is a review from a crown I got done in 2018. The offices are very nice and the staff is wonderful, unfortunately the Dr. who did my crown (which cost a lot of money) did a very poor job and only 2 years later I had to get it replaced in LA by an amazing Dr. I've never had an issue with the other 4 crowns I got done in NY, and they are still solid good and haven't been replaced in 20 years.

Fantastic experience: We love RTD! Started coming here in 2022 after moving back to area from Texas. I was looking for a place who could see both me and my then 4 y/o daughter and they have exceeded my expectations! Everyone is so nice, they are amazing with my daughter who actually is excited to go to dentist and are very accommodating. I love especially that they have Saturday hours since I work FT during week and my daughter is in school. Love that they’re able to do a lot of procedures in-house and have even been able to fit me in last min. Dr. Miamee was very responsive in past when I’ve had some work done and am able to text him if needed and he was always very responsive. I should also point out how clean and up-to-date everything is since that’s always important. They also have two locations in Reston which provides more availability. Overall I think their entire staff are amazing and appreciate their kindness! I will definitely continue recommending them!
