Fantastic experience: I don’t even feel as though I’m ‘at the Dentist’. Dr Ton works very hard to ensure she addresses any issues with your teeth. She teaches prevention as well. Staff are all top notch.

The atmosphere and music is amazing I was definitely singing and dancing which is better than having to listen to elevator music while they clean your teeth. Fantastic experience: Dr. Tan is one of those doctors who takes her time with patients to personally deliver excellent health care. The opposite of those practices where you feel you're on an assembly line. Update. Temporary crown falls out on a Friday evening. I leave a message with the office. Ten minutes later Dr. Tan calls me, opens the office Saturday morning just for me and fixes my tooth.

During my appointment, she explained everything to me, providing a level care unmatched by others. The appointment went well and cannot say anything negative about the experience.

Great friendly and helpful people at the reception, can't say enough good things about the dental hygienist that took care of my cleaning (so caring, gentle and detailed), and the doctor is something else! She took me in as a new patient within a week knowing that I had time restriction and difficult situation due to other medical issues, she took her time to educate me about what needed to be done without rushing through stuff, she call my medical physician to brain storm my condition and come up with a plan that worked with what they both have to do, and move her patients around to get me in one more time 2 days later to get the work done so I could stay on schedule for my medical work the day after. The doctor is caring, meticulous, and thoughtful, she really does everything possible to satisfy her patients. Dr. Ton shines with her filling repairs; she caught many teeth requiring fillings that, perhaps, other had missed, and just yesterday she performed an impeccable repair on a front tooth with tight spacing requirements! The dental staff is also great; I have received thorough cleanings and they are pleasant to interact with. The front desk is very helpful. Gabe went above-and-beyond to ensure that my most recent tooth repair would be covered by my insurance, his effort is much appreciated. I had a cracked tooth, I called and they got me in that day, she took a look at it and gave me options. Very knowledgeable and kind. She made my first visit to this office so positive and set me at ease throughout the appointment and provided great educational notes about my teeth/gums. Negative experience: I would never go back to Sunrise Dental. I went in with severe tooth pain, thinking my wisdom teeth were infected. After taking an X-ray, the dentist told me my teeth were fine, but insisted I had TMJ, even though my only symptom was limited mouth opening. She refused to treat my tooth pain unless I got a TMJ evaluation, and referred me to a clinic with a two-month wait time. I ended up seeing another TMJ specialist, who did a full 3D scan and confirmed I don’t have TMJ. What I do have is a clear infection around my wisdom teeth, exactly what I suspected from the beginning. The misdiagnosis from Sunrise cost me days of pain and sleepless nights, and they didn’t even offer anything to manage the infection. I truly regret trusting this clinic.

Fantastic experience: Always a great experience with the Dental Team. My little one hasn't had a bit of apprehension during her years with the dentist. Dr Amy is very thorough and informative.

Positive experience: Dental hygienist was very kind, but she Unlike the people who used to clean my teeth, she barely used any tools. She just brushed my teeth with toothbrush and toothpaste, she didn't even dare to use dental floss.

Fantastic experience: Pleasant, professional staff. Dr. Tan patiently explained what the procedure entailed, what discomfort to expect, and was very attentive to my requests for pauses during the procedure. It went very well and I experienced no pain subsequently. Also, because my condition did not prove to be as severe as it had been feared, my bill was less than I had expected. In all, worthy of 5 stars in my book.

Fantastic experience: Listen I cannot at enough hood things about Dr. Ton and her staff. No one enjoys going to the dentist but I feel secure knowing it is Dr. Ton and her staff taking care of me. They are thorough, explain everything, genuinely care and are so kind. She knows when to send you to a specialist and refers great ones too. Last visit I almost passed out from low blood sugar. I had just eaten before going to my appointment so it was a very unexpected event. They didn’t rush me. She brought my orange juice and a bagel. She checked on me multiple times as did her staff. The time before I was having a procedure and was given a numbing agent that made my heart beat fast. She also stopped and allowed me to rest until I was comfortable continuously checking on me. They are gentle with my kids and show superhuman compassion toward my husband who has a great fear of dental anything. These are good people and even better dental providers

Fantastic experience: Dr. Ton used a laser to remove a tongue-tie I've had all my life and was happy to get rid of. While nothing along these lines is pain-free, the discomfort for a few days afterward was well worth it. She is a skilled perfectionist and the results were exactly what I was hoping for. Fantastic experience: I moved to Reston from Florida several years ago, and my daughter and son-in-law highly recommended Dr Ton. In her initial evaluation she found problems with a number of my teeth, problems that were not visible in a mirror. My previous dentist had overlooked or ignored these serious problems. Dr Ton not only explained the issues clearly and in detail, she used a new tool to photograph my teeth from the tounge side so I could better understand the problems. She explained what restoration was needed, and carried it out. My teeth now look and feel better than ever before. Dr Ton keeps up with the latest technology, and is proficient with all of it. She and her entire staff are caring and professional, and I highly recommend them. During my most recent visit, the assistant who did the expected cleaning also brought me up to date with a variety of related issues.

Fantastic experience: Genevieve is wonderful and always “on the job” consistently and is very tactful as an Office Manager. Such a sweet personality and consummate professional. The new dental hygienist is friendly and is as quick as a bumble bee. Always knows what she’s doing at every juncture. Fantastic experience: My crown popped off while I was Waterpik-ing early on a Saturday morning. I called the office recorded number (the office is normally closed on weekends) but was able to contact the owner/Dentist via cell. She happened to be in the office doing admin/training with a new assistant, and told me to come in within the next hour. Dr. Tong immediately assessed the situation with the crown, and was able to quickly re-cement it in quickly. Great service!!! Have been using this office for a long time and will continue to do!!

Fantastic experience: I went in for my first visit with the practice and from the check in to checkout nothing but amazing customer service. You can really tell the staff and Dr. Amy Ton care about their patients. Dr. Ton was very thorough in her exam and explained in detail cause and effect which was amazing and great learning experience which I have never encountered at my past dental experiences. She also collects some additional information during exams/cleanings that also I have never had done before and it was really nice to see her take her time and not rush. Overall, a great practice that cares for their clients, health , and provides great information!
