Positive experience: Dr. Qumars was very friendly, and the customer service team was caring and responsive throughout my experience. I had a crown placed on one of my teeth, but afterward I experienced pain whenever I chewed certain foods, especially harder foods like croutons or bread. Even chewing gum could cause discomfort. The team was very responsive and asked me to come back several times to adjust the crown. After about five adjustments, the issue improved by roughly 95%, which I appreciate. However, I still experience some pain with certain chewing directions. After going through multiple adjustment sessions, I’ve decided that I would rather stop here and move forward with the current result rather than continue with additional adjustments.

Fantastic experience: It’s my first time visiting this clinic just for a basic teeth cleaning. Turns out that a thorough oral exam is included. They used different types of cameras. It was so uncomfortable bc the cameras were too big for my mouth but it was worth it! Saw my teeth in 3D. The cleaning was well done. The Doctor is cool and very thorough. He really took time to explain every issue my mouth has And he’s so good at it. I recommend this clinic.

Fantastic experience: I had an outstanding experience in my new dentist office form the moment I walked through the door. The Front desk staff, Armita and Emma greeted me warmly, checked me in quickly and made the entire process stress-free. they took time to explain my insurance benefits and answered all my questioned before the appointment. The office looked very clean and modern and organized, I immediately felt I ma in good hands. The dental assistant , Anita, was professional and friendly. She was very gentle during taking the X-rays. Dr, Karbasi was one of the most through and knowledgeable dentists I have ever met. Instead of rushing through the exam, he carefully reviewed the X-ray and 3D scan which I have never seen before. He discussed every treatment options and explained the outcome. I can honesty say that I never had a dentist in the past that spend so much time and I truly appreciate his honest recommendations. The scheduling for the next appointment was convenient and staff worked with my schedule to find an appointment that fits my needs. The actual treatment was on time and I truly appreciate the fact that I didn't feel any pain. This is for someone like me with high dental fear priceless. Overall, this was the best experience I've ever had at a dental office. The combination of exceptional customer service, state -of - the -art technology and outstanding clinical acre truly sets this office apart. I highly recommend this office to anyone looking for a new dentist who truly cares about their patients. I will definitely be returning for all my and my family future dental cars.

Negative experience: I debated writing this review for a while, but I decided I needed to share my experience to warn other patients. This review is not about the staff’s ability to perform dental work; it is about my experience with the sales process, pricing, and treatment recommendations. I have excellent dental insurance through MetLife. During my consultation, the office manager, Armita, told me they were utilizing my insurance to the fullest. I was then presented with a treatment plan totaling approximately $18,000 for 11 fillings, 2 root canals, crowns, 6 extractions, and bone grafting. I was told my insurance would only cover a portion and that the remaining balance would be my responsibility. Before I even saw the doctor for a full evaluation, I was quickly directed toward their financing options. The quote was based largely on an appointment from a year prior. I spent nearly 4 hours in the office only to leave with a bill for tens of thousands of dollars. No treatment was performed, and I did not even receive a cleaning while I waited. I stayed calm and considered moving forward because I genuinely felt like I had no other options. Looking back, I felt pressured and overwhelmed by the process. I was also told about their referral program. I referred two patients who came in for consultations, and I was told I would receive a $175 Amazon gift card for each referral. I never received those gift cards. When I brought it up, Armita said she could apply $175 toward my bill, but that adjustment was never made. If you tell a patient you are going to do something, you should follow through. I was also pressured to have extractions and implants done on the same day. For me, having multiple extractions and immediate implants during the same visit felt like an extremely aggressive approach, and I was uncomfortable with the pressure to proceed. Thankfully, I sought a second opinion from FM Dental Group in Alexandria. Dr. Miranda reviewed my situation and was able to provide the necessary treatment while properly utilizing my dental insurance. My total out-of-pocket responsibility was $976 — not anywhere close to the $18,000 I was originally quoted. I was also informed that some of the recommended treatment from the first office appeared to be unnecessary or significantly overdiagnosed. Again, this review is not a statement about the dentist’s technical ability. It is a warning about my personal experience with pricing, communication, and the way treatment was presented to me. I strongly encourage anyone considering major dental work here to get a second opinion and fully understand their options before committing to thousands of dollars.

Negative experience: Very disappointing experience. They spent a long time collecting my personal and insurance information and even confirmed that they accepted my insurance. After I traveled an hour to my appointment and completed all the paperwork, they informed me that they do not accept my insurance. This should have been verified before scheduling my appointment and taking all of my information.

Fantastic experience: This is my first time here to take my 15 year old son for cleaning after 5-6 years of not having a dentist, the front desk staff Michaela has an amazing personality, and she knows what she’s doing and takes time to explain everything . Negative experience: Dr. Karbasi is the definition of being a caretaker of any kind! Thoughtful, precise and deliberate but all with the warmest notion. Honest and impactful is his approach making him and extended addition to my family because values make the person. The staff is always helpful and professional. Truly A++++ group of individuals here. Edited: As visits continued the nature of hospitality and customer service felt forced and inauthentic. Services being provided at times gave off a novice tone as I was in a lot of pain and had to have several eyes check my procedure. Billing is terrible! I would pay at the end of a visit than go back to find out I have a balance with no explanation (they have also given time to pay). The last draw was the lack of communication on the goal I was trying to accomplish and what they are actually doing and scheduling. I have moved on!

Negative experience: I scheduled an appointment for a cleaning. Once I arrived to the office I filled out my paperwork and waited. I was taken to the back room. The assistant smelled of musk. Not a pleasant experience. I continued through with the appointment. My cleaning felt rushed. I have never had a cleaning in 20 minutes. The doctor then tried to sell me treatments that I do not need. I have already had Invisalign treatment with my orthodontist and I wear my retainers regularly. I would definitely run from this office!

Fantastic experience: I had a really great experience at Reston Heights Dental. Negative experience: The worst dentist experience of my life. I showed up to my appointment the staff was very friendly. Get to the back and it was total chaos. Nothing was organized. It took a whole hour for them to take X-rays as a new pt. I was scheduled to get me teeth cleaned. The room I was in had an equipment failure so they moved me to another room. 2 hours total of waiting I final had enough and left the office. The staff seemed very confused. The woman cleaning my teeth had no idea of what she was doing. Horrible experience. I wouldn’t recommend this dentist to anyone.

Negative experience: Got two crowns months ago and left me with both tooth so sensible and hurting and painful. Now ill have to spend more money to try to fix them clearly dont know what their doing

Fantastic experience: I have to say, I’m not the type of person to easily trust someone but Dr. K deserves that trust. During my visits the staff is welcoming and knowledgeable and Dr. K was able to explain to me all issues and procedures that needed to be done for a healthy smile. While personally I have not taken care of myself prior to visiting Reston Dental, I have made a choice to change myself for the better. I’m very glad I made the decision to trust Reston Dental with Dr. K and continue with his scheduled cleanings. (And extra points for free parking)

Fantastic experience: Tooth was out and implants were installed in just a little over an hour! No pain and a great view from the 11th floor of the golf course next door ! Definitely worth the wait and everything was top notch and the staff was amazing

Fantastic experience: I had an unexpected dental emergency when a 10+ year crown suddenly broke on a back molar, and Reston Heights Dental was absolutely wonderful. They were able to fit me in right away, and I had both a temporary crown and my permanent crown completed in under two weeks. I’m usually very anxious about dental visits, but the entire staff—and especially Dr. K—were incredibly kind, patient, and understanding.
