Fantastic experience: Dr. Myles is outstanding. I came in for a routine cleaning and had a great experience. The cleaning was very thorough and comfortable, and the entire visit felt professional and easy. Simply the best!!

Negative experience: ⭐ 1 Star — Very Disappointing Experience I purchased a Zoom whitening treatment through Groupon for this dental office, something I’ve done with other businesses before without any issues. Since I called over the weekend, I left a voicemail and received a call back the following business day. When I spoke with the receptionist, I explained that I wanted to schedule the Zoom whitening treatment and mentioned the Groupon offer. She initially told me, “No problem, just take a screenshot of the Groupon price and we’ll honor it.” I then clarified that I had already purchased the Groupon, and suddenly the response changed. I was told they would have to “see if they could honor it” and check with the office manager. That made absolutely no sense to me. This was a Groupon specifically purchased for a service that their business advertised and offered through Groupon. Why would there be a question about whether it could be honored after a customer has already paid for it? I was told I would receive a call back after they spoke with the office manager. It has now been four business days, and I have received absolutely nothing — no phone call, no email, no explanation, and no follow-up whatsoever. The entire situation left a very bad impression. If a business chooses to advertise a service through Groupon, customers should not be made to feel as though their legitimately purchased voucher may or may not be accepted once they attempt to redeem it. And regardless of whatever internal issue may have existed, completely failing to follow up with a customer is simply poor customer service. At this point, I would rather pursue a refund through Groupon than receive treatment here. If communication and accountability are this questionable over something as straightforward as honoring an advertised Groupon, I would not feel comfortable trusting this office with my dental care. Definitely beware if you are considering purchasing one of their Groupon offers.

Fantastic experience: I had my first appointment with Dr. Myles and staff in February and the experience was outstanding in every way! One of my top priorities in my health is having a great dentist that I can trust. All my former wonderful dentists have retired so I have been searching for a new dentist/practice that I can stay with for many years:ahead. Dr. Myles deserves every outstanding rating. Great location, easy parking, beautiful office, amazing staff. One of the reasons for choosing this practice, in addition to wanting the best dentist possible, is having individual rooms for each patient, not open spaces. I needed a cleaning. Excellent. I also consulted about getting porcelain veneers to address yellowing teeth and gum recession that comes with aging. Dr. Myles and his staff answered every question, and were so patient with me! There is no question that he is the best of the best when it comes to top skill in crafting absolutely beautiful porcelain veneers or addressing any dental needs. I have done the research, I would go to no one else! I can't recommend this practice enough! I am saving ahead for veneers which gives me plenty of time to consider exactly color and shape that I wish to have! I picked up whitening trays to use in the meantime! Delightful office, Dr. Myles stopped by to go over everything, I am so grateful for the quick turnaround from order to pick up! Best! Best! Best!

Fantastic experience: This has been one of the best experiences and the most caring dental team I’ve ever met! ⭐️ I broke a veneer in my front tooth two days ago and I panicked because: 1. I’m from out of state so I’m not familiar with dentists in the area or nearby, and 2. My financial situation is not the best, and having a complete replacement of my veneer would not be feasible for me at the moment. My partner had found Dr Myles on Google and one of the things that caught my attention was how descriptive and good the reviews were about the attention received. Also, the amount of persons that had been patients of Dr Myles for years. I immediately felt welcomed and almost as if my presence had been the best part of their day! It surprised me a lot. Everyone is so kind and welcoming. After having been previously told by other dentists that a temporary fix could not be possible (in the most dismissive demeanor), Dr Myles made it possible. He was very nice and personable. He kindly informed that a replacement in the future would still be needed. The cost was accesible for us and I will definitely come back to have my veneer replaced here The space is clean, modern, and with the latest technology.

Negative experience: I was a loyal patient to Dr. Myles for many years. Even after I moved out of the area, I would still drive to Reston to see him and his wonderful team. His office is spectacular and very welcoming and he and his team are top-notch. Why would I provide a 1 star review given all of these factors? As ridiculous as this is going to sound, Dr. Myles essentially cancelled me as a patient due to differing political views from him. Given how long I had been a patient, Dr. Myles followed me on social media and vice versa. During this election season, his responses kept getting more hostile to me and when I called him out on it (privately) he essentially said "it's a free country." Childish. This morning I called his office first thing to let them know I would be unable to make my appointment this morning as I need to stay home with my sick child, and his receptionist told me that my active was inactive and I was not even on the schedule for today. To say that I was supremely disappointed that I was cancelled as a patient after eight years was extremely disappointing, especially because it's due to my political beliefs. Unbelievable.

Came in for a simple cosmetic procedure consultation and the technology this office has makes the process so much easier than ever before. We ended up doing the procedure same day due to it being cost efficient as well as quick and pain-free, and I couldn’t be happier with the results!
