Fantastic experience: Update to my review 5 years later- they are still the best pediatric dentist in the area! My daughter is now 9 and still non verbal and they are so caring, thorough and patient. My son is now an adult and has since aged out of the practice, but is now so confident going to his “adult” dentist due to the years of care here. They are absolutely amazing! They were so patient and gentle with my non verbal 4 year old daughter who is on the spectrum. My 14 year old hasn’t been nervous to see the dentist since he started coming here. They are conveniently located with plenty of parking. Clean office and very friendly staff. Would recommend 100%!

Fantastic experience: We have been going to Sutton Children’s Dentistry since my 8 year old was a toddler. He is super shy and both he and my daughter have been comfortable attending their visits. They have gotten us in fast if our kids complained of a toothache and checked their teeth thoroughly while also keeping on top of if they need orthodontic care. We love being able to trust that our kids are well taken care of and are comfortable at the dentist office. They also love the swag bags they get at each visit.

Fantastic experience: Today, I took my son for his first visit to Sutton Children's dentistry. It was a wonderful experience! This place is great for small children, with lots of books and a kids movie going in the lobby. This made my 2 year old comfortable immediately! Coral, our hygienist, and Dr.Nick were both so kind and intentional with my toddler while giving me great information on what to look out for over the next few years. When we left, my son said the dentist visit was "easy peasy."

Fantastic experience: I brought my 2 year old daughter in for her first dental cleaning and it was such a great experience! I was a bit nervous as sometimes it’s a battle trying to brush my daughter’s teeth, but our hygienist Kayla was amazing with her! She was very sweet, patient and gentle with my daughter. Dr Kiang was also so great! They were also both very informative and knowledgeable

Fantastic experience: My little guy went for his first dentist appointment today and I was probably more nervous than him. Dr. Jon and the staff were excited and welcoming through the entire process made it so fun. My son wanted to go back immediately.

Negative experience: Denied an appointment because I have my sister bring my son to an appointment for the first time because I work a lot but nowhere does any of their paperwork or website say they need me to be there for the first visit. In the paperwork I filled out it says “who will be responsible for bringing the patient to appointments” to which I put my sister and they still denied us. Absolutely horrendous

Fantastic experience: I’m beyond grateful for Sutton Children’s Dentistry and Orthodontics. As a mom with a child who was once terrified to visit the dentist/orthodontist, I’ve had the pleasure of watching him overcome his fears with the help of this wonderful staff, move through the orthodontic process, end up with a perfect smile, then walk his little brother in today for his turn. Both of my kiddos left with smiles this afternoon. I’m always thankful for every stress-free visit. Highly recommend!!!

Fantastic experience: The girls at the front are wonderful, and Margaret and Megan were so helpful, kind and understanding when scheduling my daughter's surgery. Every doctor I have interacted with was amazing with my daughter, and made things relatable when speaking about their own children, which is always comforting. Truly an amazing team and the office is up to date and beautiful

Negative experience: Left this establishment. They were always trying to change appointments to suit their schedules after I make appointments to suit ours. Then my daughter had expander out and she needed a cleaning but there was no hygienist available on a Monday. That's just poor business practice. They also charged me for days when no visit even occurred.

Negative experience: I always feel rushed and don’t know what is expected from an orthodontist. I wish they would explain better and help me understand the process.

Negative experience: **UPDATE**- No one ended up getting back to me from SCD. Fortunately we were able to get seen at Pediatric Dentistry in Marlborough on Sat(8/31) at 1:30 and they took take care of her tooth so she was comfortable. The dentist said she called and left a msg on their emergency line too to get back to me. Its a 41min+ drive for us but I've decided to switch because of how well/promptly they handled everything. Def takes a huge weight off of our shoulders. I just called SCD this morning(9/3/24) to get records switched over and they had no idea I/the dentist that saw her had even called. To the front desk girls credit she seemed mortified and was very apologetic. She said she'd send the files right over. Next time an emergency happens to one of your patients please do better. As far as my family goes we can't chance something like this again. ********* I've been bringing my 2 children here for a few years. There have been a few bad experiences but nothing terrible, a lot of rescheduling from their end and having a hard time getting booked to be seen. Some not great experiences with bad beside manners. For the most part things were ok though, not enough to warrant the work of going through changing practices. My daughter tripped yesterday night(8/30) on our driveway and broke her front permanent tooth. I called the emergency line last night(8/30) at 9pm and twice today(8/31) at 830am and Noon. Pressing the urgency and her pain/discomfort. Noones bothered to call back or check in. I've called 3 other places last night and they ALL got back to me right away within 10min and after seeing pictures def want to see us today right away if we didn't hear back from our own dentist. So extremely unprofessional of them to not even bother to get back to us. Why even have an emergency number(that I had to dig for)? Their website sais they have an emergency on call Dr 24/7 that is a lie. I can't in good conscience continue to go to this practice and warn anyone else from trusting them with your kids. In case of an emergency they will be MIA! This should be illegal

Fantastic experience: We drive 45 minutes to bring our kids here and with one on the cusp of braces it’s definitely not the most convenient trip. But we love the staff! I wanted an office tailored to kids specifically as we had negative experiences with dentists and the kids in the past. Sutton is just what we wanted and we will continue to go! The office is clean and the staff is extremely kid friendly, they go slow with the nervous littles and are able to explain in ways that get them to cooperate.

Fantastic experience: This practice is absolutely wonderful! They went above and beyond when my daughter needed an oral surgeon referral and always treated us with patience and kindness. The general dentistry and orthodontic teams are a real team and are so good with all 3 of my kids. We wouldn’t dream of going anywhere else!

Fantastic experience: We had such a wonderful experience with Dr. Gordon and the entire team at Sutton Children's. We came for a second opinion and then immediately converted to the practice after experiencing their kindness, knowledge and mostly their honesty, which is something we were questioning at the other practice! Dr. Gordon was detailed, thorough and took the time to fully explain everything to my husband, son and I. He ensured my 9.5 yr old son was part of the entire conversation. He shared what we can except in the future so we can be fully prepared. They all took an active interest in my son and made him feel not only comfortable but also important, is the best way I can word it. When we left, as my husband and I were 'high-fiving' for getting it so right in switching, and praising the crew here, my son said "They were awesome, like friends to us". That said it all! Anyone questioning their current dental situation, like we were, should switch asap!!!

Fantastic experience: Friendly, clean and professional! The entire staff has been amazing to deal with. We had a previous consult with a different orthodontist and we felt rushed and disregarded. From the moment I contacted Sutton Children’s Dentistry, they made sure all of my questions were answered and booked our consult within a timely manner. They explained everything step by step, showed my daughter how the entire process will work with models she could hold and look at closely, she actually left excited to get her braces on! 10/10 recommend!!

Fantastic experience: We love the dentists and hygienists at Sutton Children's Dentistry. We actually came here after a few appointments at another practice where we were often rushed and felt like a part of an assembly line. Here, the practitioners are thorough and thoughtful and the office staff is always so friendly and helpful. They are busy and appointments can sometimes be hard to get but I can see why - and they do their best to accommodate. We've been going here for 3 years now and will be for many more!

Negative experience: Missed an appointment and was unable to call due to being with an actively dying family member. Called to reschedule and was told they would no longer see my child. A warning or conversation that If an appt was missed we would be dismissed would’ve been nice.

Negative experience: I’m not happy with new policy of parents sitting just outside the room. My daughter was having expanders out and cried as top was painful coming out. I was in room for a year straight and only three months ago did sit in the room. A child of 8 years of age should never be in a doctor’s appointment without parent or guardian viewing the work. A child would have no idea if the work is being done correctly or be able to ask for anything. I’m disappointed and find this new rule not right or lawful. I will be finding a place like we had before Covid that provided private rooms with parents allow in rooms at all times.

Fantastic experience: My boys have been going here for years and we have always had a fantastic experience. The staff and doctors are a pleasure to work work, and the boys especially love having Nicole as their hygienist, she makes their cleanings easy and enjoyable.

Also, shout out to the front desk girls they rock as well. We also do all our orthodontist visits with this office and well and their staff is amazing as well!!

Fantastic experience: I have been taking my boys there since 2017. The staff is amazing! Nikki is their dental hygienist and she is always so good with them! My oldest has a bad gag reflex and she is so patient with him. She always goes out of her way to make sure the dentist knows about this when he has to get work done. I always try to book their appointments with her. Highly recommend Sutton Children Dentistry!!!

Fantastic experience: We had a fantastic experience this morning at Sutton Pediatric Dental! My son needed fillings and was extremely nervous even to put the laughing gas “nose” on. The tech was so patient and encouraging he put it on himself! Dr. John was wonderful as well explaining each step with him and making sure he was comfortable throughout. I would highly recommend this practice for any kids. What a difference!

Fantastic experience: I was nervous about our first dentist visit. I have a crazy boy who fights us to brush his teeth most nights. Everyone was so understand and laid back. They didn't make me feel like My son was an annoyance. The visit went way smoother then I expected but I think that had a lot to do with how wonderful Nicole and the doc was with him. Fantastic experience: A lovely establishment for young kiddos to start their dental care journey! The place is very clean, staff is friendly and great with our 2 year old (who isn’t a fan of oral hygiene yet)! We live about 50 min from here and we consider the drive worth it because they’ve been awesome with our 2 year old. We’ve also just scheduled a first appointment with our 1 year old! Would absolutely recommend!

Fantastic experience: My 3 year old Joey had her 2nd appt there today and the Disney movies playing as soon as we went in put her at ease. The very kind dental hygienist was so patient and allowed Joey to see each tool before it was used on her. And Dr. John allowed Joey to help with each part of her exam and even through a few nervous tears breaks were allowed to help us calm down and continue. Couldn’t recommended this dentistry more!

Fantastic experience: I recently brought my one year old twins in for their first dental appointment, and it could NOT have been any better of an experience! Our dental hygienist Nicole was so friendly, and helpful with all of our questions. She even brought in dental themed toys for one twin to play with while the other was examined- this was a hit with both boys! Dr. John was extremely relatable and answered my questions not only as a dentist, but as a parent. We were in and out with both twins in 45 minutes! As a first time parent who dreaded the first dental appointment, I couldn’t thank Sutton Children’s Dentistry enough!

Fantastic experience: Liam loves coming to the dentist! The staff are so friendly and welcoming, making what is usually an unliked experience fun for kids. We especially enjoy seeing Nicole, with having a son with sensory processing disorder she takes his needs into consideration and is patient and explains everything to him and how it will feel before doing it. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: We had a great experience here! Ended up getting a second opinion for a cavity that another dentist has tried to fill twice before. They were very positive and explained all of what was going on to my daughter and put her at ease. No filling needed. I am happy to say that it was such a positive experience all around that I switched both my children to this practice.

Fantastic experience: My two young girls LOVE going to the dentist! So much that they don’t ever want to leave lol! The doctors and staff are so patient with the kids. They especially love getting their teeth cleaned by Nikki, she goes above and beyond patient care. I would highly recommend Sutton Children’s Dentistry.

Fantastic experience: We had a great experience here! I brought my 19 month old for her first cleaning and for a chipped tooth. The office was very clean and organized, our hygienist Coral was extremely patient with my daughter and was even able to get an X-ray of her tooth with no complaining! Dr. John was thorough and gave excellent advice on what to look out for with her chipped tooth. So glad I found this office, would highly recommend!

Negative experience: I don’t make a bad review lightly. I also own a small business. I’m extremely disappointed with the practice. They specialize in pediatric dentistry, so it’s surprising they don’t understand when families need to reschedule appointments the day of. We’ve had issues with our kids being sick and needing to cancel- and I’ve had emergencies with my own business and I need to cover for employees who are out. My suggestion is to find another practice if you’re a busy family- especially with multiple, very young children. They need a 48 hour notice to cancel or reschedule, otherwise it’s considered a no-show. I don’t know how this is possible when they don’t want kids coming in sick?

Fantastic experience: Great experience so far here. Older child had some cavities filled at a young age without any issue. They made sure he was not scared and talked him through everything and let him pick a movie to watch. At our cleaning he left saying he had fun and both my kids love the balloons they get to take home. Youngest is two and is still nervous around strangers and she covered her eyes walking in. The woman who cleaned her teeth was so sweet with her. She got her to calm down and actually look around without crying. Then she got her lying back without crying which was a first and when she started getting nervous she even sang her the ABCs to calm her. It was very very kind and helpful.

The front desk staff was amazing and our hygienist was knowledgeable and patient with our 3 year old. Dr Paquin is so friendly and personable.
