Negative experience: I chose this office because their website gave the impression they offered quite a bit of services, including treating TMJ issues, but this was not my experience. I was advised to get a night guard, which honestly I was excited about. Unfortunately I was never able to get adjusted to the mouth guard and every time I tried wearing it, I had an issue where a crown would fall off. I went in for numerous adjustments and was finally told there is nothing else that can be done. I had no other solutions from this dentist regarding my issue and paid for that night guard in full, that I cannot even wear. Everything that was on the website under "services" are more for things you get referred out for. I also had a crown that just didn't feel right. My bite has been completely off since then and it was brought up a couple of times and it was dismissed. It left me feeling like the quality of work and patience concerns were not a priority. I was really hoping this office took pride in their work with all the reviews I read. I had a mobile tooth that I was very worried about. I was told by this office that it was a ligament issue and my bite was again "adjusted" and told it should be fine. I went for a second opinion and was told the tooth is fractured and an implant is needed. Dr. Hedstrom's office did not recognize the issue even after contacted directly by me and the oral surgeon to proceed with the implant process. My bite has not felt right since being seen at this office and I feel like I have a significant shift in my teeth now. If you have dental anxiety, this is not the right place. I went through a lot during my treatment and never felt reassured or supported. I'd dread calling when I had an issue and needed to come in because I felt like a burden. I reminded myself that these people were there to help me. I continued to show up when I was feeling pretty down about my dental journey but I was proud of myself for doing that. As I continued to go in and try and take care of myself, I was feeling more and more like I was not welcome in the office. The only bright spot in this office was my hygienist Amy, she was always kind, compassionate and made visits more comfortable. Unfortunately that positive experience wasn't enough to outweigh all the issues I had being a patient at this office and I had to take my care elsewhere.

Fantastic experience: Everyone at this office is always very friendly and just want what's best for you, they are real people just trying to make sure your teeth stay in the best shape possible. I stopped going to the dentist for years because the last dentist who made me feel this great about my teeth had moved away and I had a string of bad luck finding a replacement until I visited this office. Going here has made making my teeth healthy and beautiful easy and enjoyable again.

Fantastic experience: I had my first appointment with Dr Hedstrom. I need major work done and a partial plate for both the upper and lower teeth. I needed a few teeth pulled and some stuff done before hand and he was very forthcoming and honest about the procedures that were needed and how I should move forward with decisions about my teeth. Very clean office very comfortable atmosphere.

He has a great chair-side manner and is very concerned about each and everyone of his patients. Sue D. is the BEST hygienist in Worcester to have clean your teeth. There are no words for her expertise and ability to give you the BEST cleaning and care tips in the City of Worcester. I can't recommend Sue enough!!! This is a great dental practice! Give it a try! You'll be glad you did!

Fantastic experience: My hygienist was excellent. She introduced herself and promptly washed her hands. Her attention to cleanliness was outstanding. She did an excellent job of cleaning and polishing my teeth and took X-rays as well. I can't say enough good things about her.

I’ve never had a bad experience with anything using this dental office. I had a visit today for just cleaning. Amy the hygienist was great. She was excellent. I’ve posted this review a few times and still feel the same today about this dental office. No complaints.

Dr O’Brien was great and explained everything and was so helpful and broke down the issues we need to address! Very informative and helpful and made me feel for the first time that it was not a fix one oroblem and done!! Dr. O’Brien answered my questions and we made a plan . This was so important to me! Dr. Obrien was FABULOUS!!! G (sorry not sure if this is how you spell it) was so comforting and explain what he would do and stayed with me thru my whole visit and then thru check out. This was the best visit I ever had in a dental office. I was completely comfortable and from the moment I walked in and was greeted pleasantly. All in all I am so glad I made the decision to go to Worcester Cosmetic and Restoration Dentistry. Than you all so much!!!!

Fantastic experience: This week I chipped my two front teeth. Needless to say, I was concerned about my appearance and ability to chew. Also, like everyone- I can be a bit anxious with dental work. Dr Hedstrom fit me in within 24 hours of calling. The doctor kept me calm and comfortable the whole time, explained the procedure, and did an extraordinary job. I feel as though I gained a new set of Lumineers looking front teeth with only bonding and filing! Each time I come in, I'm more and more impressed with Dr Brien Hedstrom's abilities, skill, and professionalism.

Fantastic experience: I have been a client for almost 15 years and I have recommended Worcester Cosmetic and Restorative Dentistry to anyone looking for a highly professional dentist office.

Negative experience: I found Dr Hedstrom very demeaning .!!!! I had a bonding done to my front tooth in his office about 6 months ago with a Dentist that is no longer there. The Bonding started to come off . I have never had this happen . It was clear that the Dentist that did this Bonding did not do a very good job!!!! Dr Hedstrom told me he could take care of this . I went in and he came in to start working on my tooth . He did not discuss anything with me as to what he was going to be doing . I didn't get alarmed until he started numbing my gums . I instantly said what are you doing ? Aren't you just doing a bonding ? He then took a metal instrament and start scratching the front tooth with a lot of pressure. I got scared, and realize very quickly this is a mistake ! Dr. Hedstrom stormed out of the room and I very quickly left the office. I will not be returning . I am 64 years old and I have NEVER HAD SUCH A TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE IN A DENTIST OFFICE !!!!!

Dr. Thomas Hedstrom ended up fixing every tooth that had been worked on by my previous dentist and Dr. Brien Hedstrom is just as good! The staff is great and it’s worth the 45-60 minute drive.

Fantastic experience: Recently completed a dental crown procedure on my front tooth. The team did an excellent job. I had a very high bar for this procedure (given it’s my front tooth) and the final result far exceeded my expectations. The shade and structure of the crown align perfectly with my other teeth. Additionally, it was completed in a timely manner. Allison, not sure of the spelling, knocked it out of the park. Dr. Brien Hedstrom, DMD, is so lucky to have such a caring talented individual, and so am I. I am booked with Allison for my six month cleaning, in September and I am already looking forward to it. The dentist I had for 20 plus years retired. So I had to find a new dentist. I am grateful I found this office, no need to look any further.

Positive experience: Not impressed this visit. Plus toothbrushes they give now look like a kids brush. It's smaller and cheaper made. Toothpaste they gave me didn't even come in a box. Plus it didn't have a foil covering over the tube opening.
