Fantastic experience: Is the best dental care of Worcester and Marlborough office is also available if anyone requests appointment sooner like I did and I'm loving the experience that I'm having with Dr Lagji, Ledja (DMD), they really take good care of patients excellent dentists, hygienist,orthodontist and front desk staff very professional and excellent handling coverage with insurance companies, I'm very satisfied with the service and care they provide is excellent. I highly recommended.

Negative experience: I do not recommend, crazy prices, they’re not truly, they deal something with you before but then when your’re done they charge you a different, try to offer a play to you that it doesn’t help you in nothing, bad treatment to talk to people, bad employees, my recommendation is find different ones, because that one is not honest and it’s not worth it, really bad!

Fantastic experience: The staffer who treated me today patiently examined all my teeth and also explained the process and kept me calmed when she realized I wasn’t comfortable through the process. Kudos to all staff including the doctor.

Positive experience: Its okay-ish now. I do not have something great to say about this place today, so its better to not say a lot however i will say this. My impression recently has not been great, with respect to management, operations and how dentists are trained to find issues anyhow so they can charge you. May not be true but this is my impression. Gave it five stars a year ago, now its 3. Hope they do bettern because I still visit the place regularly. Following review was year old : Our family has been coming here for a while, and we truly appreciate the excellent service. Dr. Kraemer is fantastic his advice, care, and attention to detail are top-notch. I’m currently getting work done on 11 teeth, and everything has been going great so far. Negative experience: Apparently it is too much to ask what you are paying for. Will charge you at random without explanation, and who knows who you will get when you walk in. Depending on who I speak to I either have a myriad of issues or perfect teeth. This place is a joke.

Fantastic experience: Fortunately for my family, we got Dr. Iva Abdyli at New England Dental Associaties in Worcester. She is a truly exquisite dentist! My husband suffers from dementia, which makes his dental appointments incredibly overwhelming for him. Unfortunately this has led to intense dental issues for him through the years. This summer Dr. Abdyli developed an incredibly intelligent treatment plan for him which also accommodates his disability so well. She clearly understands exactly how to adjust the work to accommodate his special needs. And her demeanor is always incredibly patient, kind and compassionate toward my husband as well. Also, I want to give a big huge shout out to every hygienist and receptionist there who have been so conscientious and kind!

Fantastic experience: Outstanding. She did an amazing job doing the deep clean. No pain. She made me feel completely relaxed and calm during the whole procedure. I'm actually looking forward to my next visit to clean the other side!

Negative experience: The dentist chipped my front tooth, significantly changing the appearance, and when I brought it up in the office immediately after it occurred, she denied she did it multiple times and refused to admit it. She kept saying “but I didn’t do that” even though I showed her pictures of my teeth from days before that appointment. Even the assisting dental assistance agreed with me that there was a clear notable difference and on the walkout she apologized stating that she’s not allowed to state it directly for liability but she agreed with me. The doctor even offered free services to fix the chip she made at no cost which tells me that she must have known she caused this issue if she offered free services to repair it. The whole thing felt wrong and like something was off based off the doctor’s handling of the situation. Sketchy at best and I now have to see how this artificial replacement of the chip of my tooth will hold up and I’m sure they will try to charge me if complications come from it down the line even though this all started from a doctors mistake.

Fantastic experience: I have seen my share of dentists over the years, but having Dr. Iva, From N.E.D.Group, has put all my fears an anxiety of going to the dentist behind me. I just got my first crown, an it feels great, looks great a she took the time to refit my partial , so that everything fits an looks great. You know how you can sense when someone is just saying things to please you.well she is not that person. Negative experience: The dental assistants were patient, understanding and knowledgeable. There were several problems with the dentist. The process of getting a new crown took over 5.5 hrs, over three visits. She blamed the previous dentist who has prepared the tooth for the earlier crown. She continually complained that my mouth was too small and that I am not able to open very widely. She began to drill without asking if I wanted to be numbed, until I prompted her. On a subsequent visit, I asked if she was going to use the drill, she said no, and just 3-4 minutes later, she began to drill. There were other issues as well, and I will not continue to see her. It was the worst dental experience I’ve had - and I am 69.

Fantastic experience: Very knowledgeable and professional staff. Nice office with modern equipment. Seneca my hygienist was excellent. Dr. Eva was outstanding as well. I feel Iike I am in good hands there. The following month had a crown done. Once again Dr. Eva and her assistant were excellent.

He was too busy to meet me. The hygienist was really nice But I like the old one better She floss my teeth the right way With my bridge also Don’t remember the thing being so big they stick in your mouth when cleaning for the water I used to be a small tool now it’s huge oh, and you have to pay $25 for a powder to get your teeth cleaned

Fantastic experience: Just had my first appointment with NEDG as a new patient and wow I have never had such a pleasurable experience at the dentist. I had the kindest, gentlest, and most educational hygienist I’ve ever experienced. They have a very clean and modern office with the latest technology and all the staff are wonderful, they made one of the most dreaded things in people’s lives actually enjoyable so they’re miracle workers in my book. Can’t recommend them enough!

Negative experience: First visit at this dental practice for a cleaning and x-rays. I have never been so uncomfortable in a dental chair before! From being given 15 x-rays, to a 3D ultrasound of my gums in case I need a night guard in the future to the most painful deep cleaning (for an extra $25 fee) of my teeth I have ever experienced! The 3D device was clunky and administered in a very unpleasant manner. The dentist never came in at the end of the cleaning to meet me to look at my teeth as I was told they were unavailable in procedures. I was told I would have to come back! Unacceptable. My eyes were tearing throughout the ordeal and I felt I was drowning with the water suction device that did not do what it was supposed to do. NEVER again at this office. A cleaning with x-rays should not take over an hour +.

Negative experience: Severe oversight and poor handling of my dental care experience. I came to New England Dental Clinic in October 2024 due to a fractured filling on tooth #30. I was treated by Dr. R, who placed a crown without addressing a cavity that was clearly visible on X-rays. I returned less than a month later with discomfort, but the issue was dismissed without any imaging or further evaluation. By April 2025, the pain had worsened significantly. I returned and saw Dr. K, who kindly acknowledged that the crown should not have been placed without treating the cavity. Unfortunately, by then the infection had progressed and I was told I now needed a root canal and a completely new crown. I had paid $1,400 out-of-pocket for the original crown. The practice did offer to redo it for free, but after this experience, I no longer felt safe returning. I’ve since had to seek treatment elsewhere and pay again for care that could have been avoided. To make matters worse, when I advocated for myself and requested my records, the original treatment notes were written weeks after the actual visits, raising serious concerns about accuracy and documentation practices. I also requested my full dental records on multiple occasions, including the complete session notes through April, and never received a full or timely response. Despite months of polite follow-ups, the clinic declined to reimburse me or fully acknowledge the harm caused. I’m sharing this review to warn others to be cautious. Dental care should be thorough, accurately documented, and responsive to patient concerns, not dismissive. Trust in healthcare is everything, and unfortunately, mine was lost here.

Negative experience: I used to enjoy my cleanings here but lately, this dental office has gone down hill. I’m constantly being overcharged and having to follow up multiple times once I get my EOBs from the insurance company. The doctor told me at my last visit that I needed to come back for my back right teeth because there was an issue — how was there an issue if you took no X-rays? Funny how during my most recent cleaning, there were no issues found with my back right teeth. Don’t waste your time with this nonsense. Find a new dentist like I will be!

Negative experience: Thanks We were not entertained even for cleaning teeth for myself & wife though we were given appointments. Our question why were called & we arranged transportation. These happened first time.We were astonished.

Negative experience: I went there for an emergency visit because of tooth pain I was having . They took an ex ray and referred me to get an extraction. I was told they would call in an antibiotic for the infected tooth that would help with the pain I was having. The antibiotic was never called in. When I called back to remind them they were closed. Unacceptable

Negative experience: Absolutely don't go here! They don't honor their work and refuse to fix what they did wrong. They will expect you to pay for the procedure all over again out of pocket. I complained about a crown from the moment they put it on. Two years later I had to get an answer from another dentist on why my crown and route canal tooth was still hurting. Now they want me to pay for the whole new crown so they can go in an fix what is wrong.

Fantastic experience: I was very impressed with my dental hygienist who was very patient and friendly. She did a great job cleaning my teeth and able to give me advice to temporarily resolve issue with my partials until I can meet with my dentist who was on vacation. Overall my visit was excellent.

Negative experience: Poor service. After a normal cleaning I had to wait 25 minutes to be seen by the dentist. Then I was told I needed multiple crowns and fillings. In only 6 months. Then I was told I needed to wear a night guard. I told the dentist I had chewed through the previous one in two months. I was told that was impossible. Then I gave the dentist two options to handle my teeth. Leave them alone or pull them. The dentist was offended and I was told their patient have never given them options before. It’s a clown show there now that Dr. O left

Negative experience: I was forced to rewrite my review in order to get care here because they didn't like that I was honest about an encounter with a dentist after my provider left and I went in for an emergency visit with a very bad tooth infection. I wrote how the antibiotics they gave me were not strong enough and I woke up that night extremely sick. I waited until the office opened and called hoping to get a stronger antibiotic. The receptionist talked to the doctor and told me they gave me the strongest there was. I have knowledge on medication especially antibiotics and it was not. I had to go through my doctor's office and they sent me to the ER where I was prescribed 2 different antibiotics and was given IV fluids. I wrote this review and went in for a cleaning and they told me I needed a root canal. The doctor that did the exam after the cleaning said he would do the root canal. They usually call you to set up the appointment after they get approval from your insurance. I got a notice from my insurance saying they were approved to do the root canal and crown but they never called me. So I reached out to them and this is when they brought up the review. I did what I had to do to get the care I needed. They ended up referring me out because they couldn't handle the root canal, it was too complex for their dentists and they don't have a root canal specialist (endodontist). I do need to say that my hygienist there was great. She was always on time and very friendly. She was gentle with her tools too. Now that I have established care somewhere else I am retelling my story so it doesn't happen to you or heaven forbid your child or elderly loved one. ❤️

Positive experience: Sonita is a great dentist . Got a filling and didn’t feel a thing . But I came for filling , got 16 x rays and the filling I came for wasn’t filled . She found another 1 from X-rays . I have to go back again.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely pleasant, and efficient experience. It was a last minute appointment for a possible dental emergency. Called a day prior (~ 1 hr before closing) as a new PT, and was seen the next day (~ 9am; 01/07/25). Had dental rads performed, confirmed my concerns - and was offered surgical referral - all in under an hour from presenting. Both Dr. K and their assistant, A - were amazing; and so were the receptionist staff.

Fantastic experience: I have never had a dental hygienist be so thorough and educational. I'm 34, and my entire life, they usually clean my teeth and when I ask for recommendations I get a shrug and some half hearted answer. Not here. She went so far as to have me hold up a mirror and dye my teeth so I could see how she was flossing and water piking. She then explained how to brush properly (apparently I've been doing it wrong my whole life, she said not to rinse after brushing as it rinses out the fluoride). She even took the time to give me product recommendations and why she recommends them. This is what I've been wanting and needing out of a dental visit my whole life. I am HIGHLY impressed and very happy. 10/10 definitely recommend.

Negative experience: My 94 yrs old mom in a wheelchair was kept waiting 1 hour for her appointment with the dentist. I ended leaving the office. Pretty rude!

Fantastic experience: I got my first treatment of Invisalign with Taylor and Dr Rahman. I already knew that I wanted to get them in the first place, but they made the process relatively easy, they laid out all the options, precautions and cost for getting Invisalign. It took about 4 to 6 weeks after my consultation to get my first set of trays and each appointment was thorough and concise to get what I needed to start my journey to get a better smile.

Fantastic experience: Dr.Sunita and her team were very helpful and addressed our queries very patiently. They accommodated our appointments inspite of short notice. They diagnosed some issues that we were not identified by previous dentist and explained all our queries

Negative experience: My dental work doesn’t come out good and I always feel rushed. This place seems to be making up rules as they go/feel, they tell you if you don’t respond to a reminder, they will cancel your appointment which I never heard of. All was told to me was they will charge you a fee if you don’t make it to your appointment.

Negative experience: Run away from New england dental group. They charge you for a service and then split that service between u and other patients and charge everyone full price. I sat in my chair loner then i needed to because they allowed the dentist to work on several clients at the same time.. Seems like they are scamming us and the insurance. They are never on time, maybe due to poor scheduling or not allowing bufferes between appointments. Look for a local dental company.

Negative experience: After a heated battle with my insurance, I was partially approved for two white glass crowns. On July 9th, when the NEDG Worcester office reached out to confirm my appointment they said I was only approved for one crown. My daughter made sure that the office reviewed the insurance approval again. They confirmed it was for two crowns and noted this on record so the doctor on the day of his appointment kmew to do two crowns. He came in today, 7/19, to the Park Ave office in Worcester and Dr. Ummesalma Dhariwala only completed one crown. She and the office staff proceeded to argue with daughter regarding the matter, at which time my daughter pulled out the text communication I had on 7/9. In the meantime, the office staff also located the approval indicating the two crowns. It was during this time that Dr. Ummesalma Dhariwala figured she made a mistake but rather than apologizing and helping this elderly disabled man by making time to do the other crown or scheduling a new appointment she chose to say "I don't have time." This is not how you treat a new patient that's senior and disabled, who recently moved from Florida to Massachusetts and went to length with his insurance to get the approval for the crowns in the first place. This type of service is a disgrace to the seniors in our community and your staff and doctors especially Dr. Ummesalma Dhariwala, who have senior parents of her own, should be ashamed of yourselves.

Negative experience: This office tried to force me into Invisalign and when I said no they kept telling my child it’s their decision. They submitted to insurance but I don’t think they didn’t try to advocate for my child they wanted to force an out of pocket expense. And they called every single week to follow up until I blocked them. They are unprofessional and disregarding parent/patient best interests they care about their bottom line

Fantastic experience: The people at New England dental are always very professional and courteous. I’ve been coming here for years and find the staff knowledgeable and informative.

Negative experience: I booked an appointment 2 months in advance. They waited until the day before my appointment to let me know they don’t accept my insurance but told me I can stay pay out of pocket lol. Very unprofessional and disappointing.

Fantastic experience: Such an awesome staff and experience. My hygienist was wonderful in explaining everything along with options to better my oral care. I look forward to my next follow up.

Negative experience: Unprepared and unacceptable experience. Waist of an appt. Appt was made well over a month ago to have all upper teeth removed and immediate upper denture inserted. The denture wasn’t sent to the lab for final fabrication. The entire impression process started in February. No one had recognized the teeth were not ready until patient was in the chair. Unnecessary anxiety and aggravation.

Negative experience: The main purpose of my visit was just to get my cleaning done and thats it. Unfortunately I couldn't get my cleaning done instead I was directed to schedule a deep cleaning after review and this was something that I was asked to pay out of pocket. At least they could have done what my main reason for visiting was which was the cleaning and later on schedule my deep cleaning appointments. I felt very disappointed and irrelevant.

Positive experience: My experience was not comfortable because my first doctor is gone and I like to talk about what they are going to do and to be listened with emphaty and patience. Explain it why I need to do it.

Fantastic experience: As a person who has put off dental work that was in dire need, due to great fear, I am so happy that through friends I learned about New England Dental. From the receptionists to all of the dental assistants and Dr. Umm (sp) the fear has left. This is the best place for people that suffer from fear and anxiety of dentistry. I'm almost done. Negative experience: Told the dentist first thing that my brother don’t speak nor understand English and she kept speaking to him still. I’m literally here to translate but was told to get up from my chair.
