Fantastic experience: A great dental facility. We have been attached to this business since it's inception over 30 years ago. The Dentists are exceptional and do great work and stand behind their work. The Hygienist's are exceptional also-positive about improvements you can make to your dental hygiene for cavity prevention. An all around great facility with a caring, exceptional staff.

Fantastic experience: I can’t say enough good things about this office. As someone who gets very anxious about dental visits, I truly appreciated the kindness and patience shown to me. They took the time to make me feel comfortable, explained everything clearly, and never made me feel rushed or judged. It made all the difference. Negative experience: They say online when you make an appointment they take almost all insurance when you scroll on the website but once you get there they don’t, would not recommend ever

Fantastic experience: Took my 95 yo mother for a chipped tooth. Moms on hospice with COPD, cancer and Alzheimer's dementia. The staff was AMAZING with her, my mom loved them.

Negative experience: made an appointment and then they change it not even 24hrs before. Did not even ask me expecting me to come in anyway. I had also specified I wanted to come in earlier and they still put me in the system for a later appointment. Had I shown up at my scheduled time they would’ve turned me away. Extremely unprofessional especially people with lives who work around SCHEDULED appointment times.

Fantastic experience: My sister Elizabeth has Alzheimer’s and ALL staff at Innovate Dental Leicester treat her both physically and mentally with respect, kindness and tenderness. But more importantly they clean and treat her dental and oral medical issues extremely well and when she needed an extraction their referral/recommendations have been great choices. Positive experience: When checking out I wished the front desk asked how you are paying and if receipts are needed. It felt liked I was being a nuisance because I paid by care credit card and needed a copy of both my receipt and an invoice for the procedure down.

Fantastic experience: My visit to the dentist was an excellent experience, one I haven't had in a long time. The dentist was attentive and considerate, frequently checking in to ask if I needed a break and explaining each step of the procedure. Despite the pain I had been experiencing with my tooth, she did a great job, and by the time she finished, I felt relief and satisfaction. Overall, it was a positive experience.

Fantastic experience: The entire staff at Innovate Dental is friendly and welcoming. I have pretty extreme anxiety about dental work, and the staff was incredibly understanding. I had a crown done yesterday, and Dr.Lau and her assistant were absolutely wonderful. With the state of the art technology, the crown is done in one appointment. I wore my air pods, they worked with purpose performing their work with precision, I was pain free throughout the entire procedure, and I walked out of the office 2 1/2 hours later feeling relief it was over and less anxious about the dentist!

Fantastic experience: I was with my past dentist for about 40 years. When he retired I had to find a new dentist. After several unpleasant experiences I decide to visit Innovate Dental. On my first visit I was greeted by very friendly secretary who made me feel welcomed. I have had several appointments there I am very happy with all the dental services received. On my last visit Dr. Platt removed a silver filling, prepared the tooth for the new crown and actually put in the new permanent crown, all on that one visit. In the past I had a temporary crown on the first visit and return 2 weeks later to have the permanent crown put in. I was very pleased with the time saved and quality of work done. They do cosmetic dentistry periodontal and dental emergencies. I gave them a well deserved five stars.

Negative experience: Like most things, there's good and bad. Judging by the 1 star, you can guess which one wins. Let's start with the root canal they prescribed. After the obligatory xrays, they do the root canal, and discover the tooth is too decayed for a crown. It's worth saying again, AFTER THE ROOT CANAL. So, either the xrays don't show tooth decay, or they did the root canal anyway knowing in advance. My actual guess is that nobody looked at them, so they went in blind with drills blazing. I then had to have it pulled, which was yet another procedure, at least at a different dentist. While I was having it pulled, the doc notices a lot of decay on an unrelated tooth. I thought that was odd as Innovate takes xrays each and every time you sit in the chair. They need them for diagnostics? How did they miss this, I ask? The dentist that wasn't innovative just shrugged. So it sure looks like they bill for the xrays then are thrown in your file and nobody looks, or cares, from there after. They also miss root canals in the making. I'd been going for almost 2 years, with the, again, obligatory xrays. Lots of them. And yet, one sunny day in May, I need a root canal. They are not the first dentist I've seen that works this way. At least I'm not seeing how getting xrays helps me at all. It helps them pay for their new 3D crown printer though. Now let's talk about the front desk. After an exam, the dentist says I need a root canal. (The same one that had been lurking for years that they missed.) I'm like, Ok, going to think about it. I call them up to schedule the procedure and guess what? I need to come in for an exam and, you guessed it, yet more xrays. This from the receptionist, not a dentist, with a healthy side of attitude. I'm not here to be confronted by a receptionist. I asked them check their records from my last exam and go from there. I never heard back. So, if what they said during the exam is correct, I need a root canal and I'm being ignored. Because I question the need for another exam 2 weeks after a cleaning and being told I need a root canal and seeing the picture of the tooth? (Side note: I've asked them 3 times to stop showing me pictures of the inside of my mouth. It doesn't matter what it looks like. They ignore my request. I find this kind of scare tactic juvenile, at best.) Which reminds me, they don't check their voice or email. The dentist who did the extraction, (not Innovative), emailed them the xray. They have no record of getting an email. The sender assured me it has worked in the past, but not this time. So I called them about it, got voice mail at 2pm on a Tuesday to check about it, and again, no callback. I read another review about the billing. They also would bill me 2 weeks later for more money. And yes, they are in network. But they don't pre-auth procedures with your insurance company. So they have no idea at all how much they will get. So they guess and bill you the difference down the road. How lazy can you be? You'd think with all that time you gain not checking emails and voice mails that the least the front office could do is pre-auth your procedures. Unless circle back billing is not labor intensive. Because it seems the front desk needs a vacation, not work to do. So it sure looks like they are a billing centric, labor resistant sort of place. Sit down, shut up, take your dose of jaw cancer and we are done here unless and until you need something more than a filling. Fillings must not be very profitable. At least with more root canals they can pay for their 3d crown printer a lot faster. I'm wagering someone in management has more than one kid in college and needs money now, and doesn't care how they get it. This is, of course, nothing but conjecture. But that sure seems to fit with the evidence. Can't wait to see owner's canned reply. The same guy who also can't respond to emails.

Fantastic experience: Today was nothing short of amazing! I booked an emergency visit online in the middle of the night due to severe tooth pain. Arrived a half hour early to my appointment and was seen right away. As a new patient with intense anxiety around dentists, due to childhood trauma, I was met today with kindness and compassion. Dr. Platts took his time, calmed my nerves and understood my tears, he genuinely took his time to go through a plan of action that I desperately need. This office from the time I walked in until the time I walked out were wonderful. If I could give them more stars I would. They have helped start to calm my nerves from traumas that were started over twenty years ago. If you are nervous going to the dentist I would highly recommend Innovate Dental.
