They have replaced and repaired a crown for me and did a great job. On the cleanings I do not like the water pressure style so, they have happily cleaned my teeth old school! I’ve been with Three different dentists over the course of the last 20 years in this area and my wife and I both like them the most.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been a client with them for about two years now. They have repaired and replaced a crown along with the cleanings. I do not prefer the water pressure cleanings and they are happy to accommodate me old style. Their service is quick and all of the staff is kind.

Negative experience: DO NOT go here. It is a total and complete scam. These people billed my insurance wrong and we have been working for over a year to get it corrected. The office manager is not possible to get on the phone. When we do she assures us that the matter is taken care of. Every month we get another bill. Now they're threatening collections because they keep billing it wrong. My insurance company has said multiple times that they just need to resubmit and it will be approved. They refuse to resubmit properly and blame me for their inability to properly bill. Not to mention the scamming they do to sell whatever overpriced "promotion" they've got going on at the moment.

Positive experience: I went in for routine cleaning, and to check one tooth that was bothering me. Turns out the tooth was abscessed and had to be pulled out. They were able to do it on the same day and I was thankful for that.

Negative experience: My husband and I had the worst experience we have ever had. The dental hygienist were very rude. We were 15 minutes early, and was told they only had time to do x-rays. We would not recommend suburban dental to anyone.

I was very nervous in getting consultations as my insurance only covers 2 a year and I really wanted to choose a doctor that I can trust to do my treatments and the doctor gave me a free consultation which I was very pleased with. First meeting and it was obvious to me that choosing Dr Charnitski was the best choice for me! Thank you for taking the time to learn about my case, Dr Charnitski. Negative experience: I was happy to find a dentist that takes my insurance and has appointments. Then they recommended deep cleaning. I said ok, I paid for it completed it. They said come back in 6 weeks for us to check the healing. I came back the doctor checking said, two of the teeth needs more attention. I thought ok, it is still covered under the original deep cleaning. No I have to pay again. I mentioned they should have checked the hygienist work on the same day so she could complete the procedure. The receptionist said it doesn't work like that. In the 6 weeks the problem happened again. A number 7, I would have believed a 4 or 5. This is a scamming office. Review update The only redeeming quality of this dentist of is Dr. Stephen Charnitski, DMD. I like him and trust his advice. Which coming from someone who fears dental tools is a lot. But after getting cavities and crown fixed. I believe that I will move on. The front desk people are very unhelpful. She wrote what she believe I was going to pay on a yellow sticky note. I wasn't given the paper that details what needs to be done in coming visits. Just a note. I still remember when my root canal got messed up and I needed to be referred to a surgeon to complete it. The front office wouldn't help me. I had to find one myself that the insurance would cover. At least the Dr. Charnitski didn't charge me anything. So as long as you don't need much interaction with front ppl. This is a great office. You can get an emergency appointment right away and cleaning appointments are available.

Fantastic experience: I have been a patient here for almost 40 years, and have always received quality care. My recent visit was to remove an old crown, fill a cavity, and put on a new crown. However, once Dr. Kakadia examined the tooth more closely, she realized it needed to be removed. She went out of her way to make time for me right then and there, and extracted the tooth. I'm pretty sure many other dentists would have just sent me off to an oral surgeon, but she wanted to make sure I was taken care of immediately. Everyone who works here, office staff, hygienists, assistants, and the other dentist, are all friendly, supportive, and very accommodating. I have additionally undergone full Invisalign treatment here with no need to see a specialist. They are multi-service and highly qualified.

Negative experience: I have been coming here with my family for several years now. But today was the last straw and we will not be coming back here. All future appointments are canceled. I expect to pay what I’m told. If they said they checked the insurance and tell me what is not covered and what I need to pay…why do I always end up having a balance? This place charges ridiculous amounts for what they do. And don’t come on here saying it was an estimate because it was not. I made it clear I want to know the exact amounts after insurance. I made it clear I do not want any surprises. Find out what is covered with the insurance before I come back. I was never told it was an estimate. I was told what the true costs was. But yet here I am again and again with a balance. I feel like they have been scamming me. They also have a “I do not care” attitude and take no responsibility. I can mention several other reasons why we will not come back here but this review would be too long. I have been giving them chances because they do a good job cleaning, but it’s just not worth it. The location was very convenient but I do not care. These people will not get another dime out of me!

Negative experience: I have been going here since about 2018 and within the last yr an a half this office has dropped the ball big time...from submitting incorrect information to the insurance and then wanting the customer to pay for their mistake. and then they wouldn't even see my son for almost 4 months bc i had to fight with the insurance company and submit the contracts that the office signed for the mistake they did that they did not want to take accountability for..thank God the insurance ended up paying for it...however now they have over charged me for a payment plan that is in writing..and want me to wait days until they decide to review it when they can see the charges right on their computer! I think its time for me to go to a diff dentist office who has more professionalism then they have! Bc they play to many games! Don't waste your time here...there are also affiliated with smile dentistry which I've also heard terrible things about.

Your generous courtesy of filing claims on my behalf—wow, how noble! Most healthcare providers would *dare* to assist patients in navigating insurance issues, but not you. No, no—why take ownership when you can just shrug and say, "Not our problem!" with such poise and professionalism? And let’s not overlook the stellar communication—nothing says "We care!" like a cold, dismissive message that essentially reads: "Figure it out yourself, peasant." Bravo! Truly, you’ve set a new standard for how not to run a patient-centered practice. If condescension and ineptitude were dental specialties, you’d be board-certified. Keep up the inspiring work—I’ll be sure to recommend you to anyone who enjoys being treated like an inconvenience rather than a paying client. *** Zero stars for customer service, negative stars for basic human decency. Do better instead of passing the buck, and carelessly sending a bill that should never have been put to the customer, to their credit and ruining there hard work trying to keep credit clean and clear. You would ruin someones credit for no good reason other than shear laziness, this is egregious and you should not bein business if this is how you choose to run it or at least fire your entire staff because they are obviously not in the customer service business and they are terrible at what they do, and find real professionals to do the proper job.

Fantastic experience: All very informative with everything. Had needed new dentist. Went here in December. Thorough exam. Told I needed work done to teeth. Followed up today. Dentist was excellent. Showed teeth issues & education about why these changes happened. Also all the changes & why needed to be taken care of. I couldn't have asked for better experience. I highly recommend them if you need a new dentist or are dissatisfied wirh your present one.

Fantastic experience: Although this was my first visit, I plan to officially switched dentists. Not that there's anything wrong with the dentist I was going to but I was very impressed with Suburban Dental. After having the run around of managing my tooth pain, I landed at Suburban Dental, where Dr. Charnitski took the time to really listen to all of my woes, came back with follow-up questions, explained what he believed was going on and decided to take a more conservative approach. As he was treating me with his conservative approach, him and his staff were very considerate of my comfort. The whole office was completely helpful and pleasant! It only been a couple hours and I can tell you for sure his conservative treatment has helped out tremendously!!

Fantastic experience: I'd hate to give it 5 stars only because more people would come there but between the front desk to the Dr.s are amazing. I didn't even have an appt today but because my family was already there they were able to accommodate my situation so that I didn't have to come back the next day. Service was outstanding!!!!!!

Fantastic experience: The building was easy to find and so was the office inside of it. There's plenty of parking, so no worries there. When I arrived (10 minutes before my appointment), I was immediately called back and my cleaning was started. The dental hygienist was friendly and professional. At the end of the appointment, the dentist came in and looked over everything. She gave me many opportunities to ask questions and seemed genuinely interested in my wellbeing! I'll be going back in 6 months. Would recommend!

My crown came out last night and they got me in today for a temporary so that when I travel to see my newborn grandson this weekend I can take photos with him and not be self conscious! They always remember every detail about your life because they truly care. I’ve said it in reviews before I am ever so grateful and appreciative that I found Dr. Charnitski and Iris. I feel important and valued when I am with them and it makes all the difference in the world!❤️

Fantastic experience: I can not say enough about this practice. I'm so glad to have found them. I had 3 teeth pulled. I had pain with the numbing injections, but only a little discomfort when he pulled them. Dr. Steve and the office staff are friendly and helpful.

Negative experience: My grandchildren have been coming to this practice for years. No complaints with the dental treatment they receive. Both have also had orthodontic treatment here, again no complaints there. The complaint I do have is with the office manager, Stephanie. Walked into the treatment room with my granddaughter and without announcing who she was or what her name was, immediately began to tell my daughter that my 9 year old granddaughter is uncooperative at “every appointment”, mind you this was the second appointment that she had where she was crying. The last appointment a spacer was forced into her mouth and hurt her significantly which was the reason for her tears. The orthodontist did everything she could to alleviate her pain. This appointment, she expressed anxiety and fear about the braces being put on. She had no business even coming back there to begin with, because she had no idea what was even going on which was made clear by her unprofessional statements.

Negative experience: Patient care is not near the top of the list for this office. For expressing my desire to not get an xray during my latest checkup; I was supposed to endure a lecture from both the hygienist and the dentist. At my age I believe I know the 'risks' after being told once. It was quite clear the biggest risk was to the income of the office. Even the office staff gave me a hard time after the exam stating things contrary to what the dentist told me. Terrible - lucky they got 1 star.

Fantastic experience: I am a brand new patient to this practice. From making the appointment to coming in for my first visit, it has been an absolute joy. The staff are friendly and take the time to listen to Your concerns. The facility is easy to get to, plenty of parking and very clean. When leaving from my appointment, they made sure that I scheduled my follow up and let me know what the next procedure would cost me out-of-pocket so I could be prepared . They have a wide variety of services which means no referrals to other facilities. I can get all my services in one place, where they know me and my history . So happy that I found my go to dentist!

Fantastic experience: First time here and had a great experience..did my enrollment online prior to arriving and it was easy ..young lady behind the desk by the name of Jayza was very professional and informative and also very nice..I only waited 15 min and I was escorted to a room to get my cleaning done ..staff was very nice and Jess who did the cleaning was very nice and she was very gentle that I felt almost no pain during the process I definitely will be going back and highly recommend..

Fantastic experience: Suburban Dental is awesome! They are very friendly and I never have a long wait time. The office is very comfortable, modern, and clean. The dental hygienist, Erica, was easy to talk to and was gentle while cleaning my teeth. It was helpful how they explained what they were going to be doing during the procedure so I knew what to expect.

Negative experience: Very disappointed with my Invisalign experience so far! Waited three weeks and my new ones are still not in. I was scheduled to get my new buttons and new Invisalign on Jan 17 and they canceled that appointment as the new ones had not come in yet. So I’ve been wearing the old ones for over three weeks now and they just snapped in half from overuse! No one is in the office until Monday morning so now I will be without Invisalign for three whole days, compromising the progress I’ve made. So frustrating! They were quick to accommodate my getting Invisalign, but slow to provide the actual treatment. The other concern I have is that they just discovered that I have a crossbite that will also need to be addressed, but that seems like information they should’ve realized and shared prior to actual treatment??

Fantastic experience: Dr. Steve and his staff at Suburban Dental are fantastic! I had Invisalign done just before my wedding and walked down the isle with such a beautiful smile! He fixed a few other imperfections for me also! I can’t thank them enough! The techs are great with my daughter as well! Highly recommend Thanks guys!

Fantastic experience: I lost a veneer on Friday and the staff was able to fit me in on Monday AM to get the process started of replacing it. There was no need for a temp so the visit was quick and painless. I'll be back in 2 weeks to have the new veneer attached. Thank you all for the fit in and great service.

Fantastic experience: My first visit was welcoming, professional, and compassionate. The dental hygienist was a genuine pro. With Dr. Kakadia, I now have a plan for my dental health. To add to this, the staff were delightful and efficient while the surroundings were aesthetically a pleasure. I also appreciate their use of technology to keep patients informed. [later note] Since my first visit, I have had a few rounds of appointments with Dr. Charnitsky to attend to all my dental needs, I can assure anyone reading this review that I've been treated very well. I've been subjected to some of the worst and best dentistry in my very long life, leaving me with enormous anxiety about anything related to dentistry. Dr. C is clearly one of the best. He fitted my crown and fixed a cavity with no tears, no fidgeting, no need to peel me off the ceiling. I'm grateful for a terrific experience to both Iris and Dr. C and the front desk.
