I had an emergency situation and not only were they helpful getting me in so quickly but they listened to my situation and treated me with great care. Ann and Sarah part of the staff at Chesterfield Valley Dental were fantastic, genuine and so easy to talk to! ! Dr Rahm , DDS is an awesome man! He is not only knowledgeable but he is compassionate, caring, deligent in his examination and gives you a care plan with multiple options to help fix or improve your dental issue. He and his staff made me feel comfortable, safe and certain that the patient and their health was the priority!

Fantastic experience: I’ve been going to Chesterfield Dental for a long time, I am absolutely a person who hates any type of pain in my mouth. The staff have tremendous patience with me and I’m Happy to report that I’ve had little to no pain. Dr. Rahm has an excellent eye and cares deeply for his patients . He is very thorough and annually. He reviews my medical charts asking if changes in medication or changes in my health Have occurred. I was at work and one of my front teeth chipped. And he was able to get me in that day to get it looked at.

I have never felt any discomfort with twice yearly cleaning unlike some previous cleaning with former providers. Fantastic experience: I had a great experience at this dental office. I recently needed a filling, and the entire process was smooth and comfortable. Dr. Rahm was extremely attentive—he really listened to my concerns about anesthesia. He gave me a bite prop to help relax my jaw so I could stay comfortable during the procedure. He also carefully adjusted and smoothed the filling to make sure my bite was perfectly even. It’s been a week now, and I’m completely comfortable with my new filling. The front desk staff is also wonderful—very friendly and quick to answer questions via text. Appointments run on time, which I really appreciate. Highly recommend this office!!

Fantastic experience: I came to CVD today for new patient exam. I was walked through the entire process once my name was called to go to the back. The staff and Dr. Rahm made sure to ask me if I had any questions/concerns and made sure that they were addressed. At no point did I feel that I didn’t have enough time to ask my questions or feel rushed in any way. Ms. Lisa the hygienist was amazing! She is excellent and made sure to watch out for any sensitivities! She asked me if I had any questions, and made me feel like a priority. She made casual conversation with me throughout the process. Ann at the front desk was so helpful! She helped me find a date that worked with my schedule. The checkout process was easy. Ann said she would send everything to my insurance and I was all set! I have never had such a stress free experience at a dentist office!

Positive experience: The cleaning was done well for the most part. I am glad that you were able to catch the plaque in the teeth next to the top wisdom teeth. The only disappointing thing I saw is that the “middle” surface of the molar teeth had the surface stains still on it, but it is probably too hard to get at those stains since it is jagged surface.

Fantastic experience: I've never had such a good experience at the dentist. Brittany, the hygienist was so sweet and got to know me which I loved. She also explained every tool she used, what she was doing with it, and why she was using it which I thought was really cool. I really liked Dr. Rahm because before even looking at my mouth, he sat and got to know me and asked my concerns. He relieved the sensitivity that has been bothering me for a year, which I really appreciated. His assistant was so sweet, as was the receptionist. You have such a good team, Dr. Rahm!

Fantastic experience: They got me in very quickly. Walked me through everything they were going to do. Needed a molar extraction and it was done quickly and pain free. Margie was great and made me feel very comfortable the whole time.

I was greeted with a sweet lady at the front desk, and my hygienist Lisa was Amazing!!! Sweet , Friendly and Professional. Dr Rham came at the end and Took the time to answer all my questions and examine me. Amazing 5+ Stars!!! I finally found a place to call “home” for all my dental needs. Feeling so blessed and happy . Fantastic experience: It was my first time going to the dentist since I came back from France and I have to admit that I am extremely impressed by the professionality of Dr. Rahm and his staff. Rachel welcomed me and continued to send me text messages before the appointment to reassure me in terms of insurance, the appointment itself, etc. Everyone is extremely friendly, and I can sense their smiles through their masks! They all really care about what they do, and I don't have the feeling that they view what they do as just a job, but they really enjoy helping people. In addition, the technology is just amazing; Dr. Rahm, in addition to having X-Rays taken, took pictures of teeth in my mouth that need to get worked on later. The only unfortunate thing about my experience is that I forgot the unbelievably nice woman who cleaned my teeth afterwards. One of the best conversations I've had since I've been back in the United States. Everything is state-of-the-art here. Google needs to change their rating system because everyone at Chesterfield Valley Dental deserves six stars instead of five. This is definitely the place to go!

Negative experience: This was not a pleasant dental experience at all. My first visit the woman doing the cleaning was very gentle and nice. My return visit to fill a cavity was awful. Two long shots to numb. Then my mouth was open for about half hour to forty-five minute. I wasn't given any headphone like in the picture and had to list not only to the drill but also to some screaming hard metal music. A filling was done and then he removed an 'old' filling which took more time. AFTER I LEFT MY JAW AND GUMS HURT FOR ALMOST A WEEK. It been 6 days and they are still sore. They are red and painful. It appears there is a cut in my gums beneath the filling that was located close to the gum line. For two days I could hardly open my mouth to eat. That was the worst dental experience of my life.

The office is very up to date with cutting edge dental technology. The staff is friendly and very knowledgeable. Fantastic experience: I normally hate going to the dentist, but I had a fabulous experience! First off, they got me in last minute which was so appreciated, but not expected. The office is very neat and clean and all COVID precautions seem to be taken. The staff was so friendly and helpful. Lisa, the hygienist who cleaned my teeth, answered all my questions and went above and beyond by getting me samples of toothpaste and floss that might help my sensitive teeth/gums. Dr. Rahm was personable and professional and took time to make sure I understood what he was noticing and possible options to fix issues. I would go back to Chesterfield Valley Dental willingly and confidently!

Negative experience: I visited for a cleaning and my experience at the dentist office was good- people were friendly etc. I just moved from out of town and when I asked if they took my insurance they said yes but were not clear that it was "out of network" so I received a $260 bill for a cleaning that is typically 100% covered. Make sure you ask if your insurance is in network or out of network before you go to your appointment. Was very disappointed with their lack of communication.

I have a lot of anxieties about dental work because I am a unique case, but Dr. Rahm was thorough in discussing every part of my medical history to make sure I’d be safe in his care. Fantastic experience: I've been going to Dr. Rahm's office for a few years now. It's a nice office with friendly staff. Dr. Rahm will always discuss any issues with me and get agreement on course of action before performing non-routine work. Scheduling and reminders are all via preference (email or text) and make things simple and efficient. Nice work Rahm family!

Negative experience: The office staff for the most part was friendly. No beware I had him do a couple fillings and he was supposed to fix the original concern of a cracked tooth. The filling hurt mind you not like a tender pain but straight hurt. Called and was told filings can be sensitive. Ok fine 2 weeks later hurts!! Hurts to eat hurts to touch. Two days later tooth beaks apart but the pain stopped. Reached out to Dr Rahm. Still to this day have not even got a return phone call. And on top of that the Routine cleaning I scheduled and stated at the front desk when I checked in all I wanted was a cleaning on that visit so he told it was part of the cleaning then I get a bill for 500 some odd dollars for services I stated at the begin I did not want done. Everyone I came in he used to always make comments about how my insurance paid out so well I should be glad. Looking back he cares more about my insurance money then being a good dentist. also to this day I had to pay another dentist to fix the filings he put in so my mouth would stop hurting highly recommend finding a different dentist.

Fantastic experience: If I could give 10 stars for how much I appreciate this dental office, and especially Dr. Robert Rahm, I would give it with a huge happy smile. I am visiting Chesterfield and had a painful dental emergency that required the extraction of a tooth (This is during the Covid quarantine when I could find no other dental office taking new patients). I email Dr Rahm (who had excellent 5 star reviews on Google) from his website, he responds within 60 minutes, sets an appointment for me, does Xrays, diagnoses the issue, gives me options, I choose, he sets an appointment to complete the procedure (pull my tooth), gives me a pain and antibiotic prescription, and sets me on my way. Next day, after I couldn't sleep all night, and pain from infection is so bad and felt like crawling out of my skin. I text Dr. Rahm, he reschedules my appointment for within 40 minutes, I go to his office, he deadens the pain, pulls my tooth, gives me instructions on how to care for the hole in my jaw, sets me on my way, again, pain free... AND THIS appointment was not only during the Covid hysteria, it was also on Good Friday. If you are looking for a dentist who truly cares, do yourself a favor, don't wait, call his office now, set an appointment with him, and get those dental issues behind you. You will be smiling again immediately.

I don’t have the best set of teeth and he always finds the best options for me to keep my teeth as healthy as they can be. Plus he also has an amazing staff.
