Ballwin Family Smiles does….from the moment you call, sit down with a dental h, and when the dentist discusses the health of your teeth. It has been a long time, if ever, I have had a dental office who cares from the start to finish! CiCi was a great dental h and understood I have sensitivity issues. Fantastic experience: I was able to get an appointment this afternoon to get a cracked cap on one of my molars examined. It was recommended to get the old cap removed and a temporary cap to replace the old cap. It was done very professionally. I will get a new permanent cap on the molar tooth in two weeks.

Fantastic experience: After being repeatedly turned away from dentist after dentist, Dr.Copeland was able to perform a difficult extraction AND do a biopsy both of which the other dentist said I would have to see an oral surgeon for.

Fantastic experience: So I called around for an emergency root issue for my oldest daughter 22 everyone else advertises emergency services now that's not true we can't get her in we can't see her today. I just want to say that this facility made it a point to see her. The Dr then proceeded to say we can get this done today to get her out of pain. My daughter had to have a root canal and crown which was very painful due to unknown infection. She pretty much hated us all after the procedure, lol. Later that night though after she slept and got on her medicine she gave me a hug and said thank you Daddy I love you also they were really awesome to get this taken care of for me, I feel 150% better and will be switching over to use to them as my dentist. Even talked to her about getting Invisalign as well for her teeth that have been tried to be straight two times with another orthodontic place. Thank you all so much.

Positive experience: I hate going to the dentist as I'm sure many people do, I mean we're paying good money to have someone inflict pain on us. I've also had my fair share of bad experiences with shoddy dentists. None of that is the case with this office, while I did experience some issues with some temporary veneers, the office was always there to get things fixed asap and my permanents look awesome! I've had no issues with the permanents. I would definitely recommend Dr. Postol and his staff.

Fantastic experience: Just a week before going out of country I started having terrible tooth pain and dr. King was able to see me right away considering my situation... Sure enough I needed a crown... They were able to do a temporary one and ordered a permanent. Just a day before my vacation office called telling me that my crown came before scheduled day and they made an appt the same day and I was able to leave on vacation without being worry( I was ready to cancel it). That was a great experience and I am so appreciative to dr. King and all his wonderful stuff working as a great team!

Positive experience: Not really happy at all with service today. My hygienist used to be Erika, and I didn’t find out that she’s no longer at Ballwin Smiles. At least, I could have been told she was no longer working at office. So I visit every 3 months for my perio dental teeth cleaning. The hygienist comment today was that 1 deep pocket had gone down 1mm, and didn’t anything about the other ones. The doctor dentist didn’t even come into the room today which I found peculiar because all the other previous visits he came in after my cleanings for past 2 years to do quick checkup. I was going to ask something about my teeth, but it didn’t happen. One final thing, where was the appointment card which the previous hygienist used to put in the toothbrush bag upon leaving. Yes, you can say not a happy camper today!!!

Fantastic experience: I am 58 years old and have had numerous horrible experiences as a child with dental visits. As an adult, I had many horrible visits as well. Just going for routine cleaning had me nervous while I sat in that dental chair. Luckily, I have not had many procedures done over the years. However, every time I had, I was told that it was minor and all would be fine. Well: it was never fine nor routine for me: it took forever to be completely numb, and I would feel things as drilling began. It was absolutely awful!! I met Dr. King and his office staff 6 months ago for my routine dental cleaning. I found out at that first visit with Dr. King that I needed to have a crown. I had 3 or 4 appointments scheduled but all had to be cancelled due to illness, my work schedule, or parental health needs. Well: I had another 6 month cleaning today and then had my crown work. For the very first time in my 58 years, it was painless and went very smoothly!!! Dr. King and his assistant Amy are my dental superheroes!! I told them that when I was done. Frannie, my dental hygienist was so sweet: she dropped in to check in on me and see how I was doing after I had told her how nervous I was. All of the staff are kind and friendly! I highly recommend Dr. King and his staff for all your dental needs. In addition: when I first met Dr. King, he was so kind and very friendly and took the time to talk a little and tell me about himself and find out a little about me. I love how personable he is, just a bonus on top of being an incredible dentist!! Thank you all!! Jen S

Negative experience: Avoid this doctor and clinic! I used to go there and Dr. Postal, Robin and team were awesome! The new doctor is NOT good - and with all the other options in West County to choose from - avoid this clinic if you can! The new doctor installed a crown in one of my teeth and it’s been nothing but a mess since he did it. I wouldn’t recommend him to anyone!

Negative experience: Received a periodontal cleaning on June 24th from Franny. She damaged nerves on the left side of my mouth and today is September 29th and I’m still unable to chew on left side and there is a constant unexplained feeling. On both my visits only seen Franny not Dr King thought that was strange. Never will return. Not sure if it’s the color of my skin or what however this was a very disappointing experience and as stated still dealing with it.

Erika, Kathy, and Dr. Moreno made me feel extremely comfortable with their welcoming attitudes and professional demeanors. Fantastic experience: Alright folks. I've got some serious love to share for Ballwin Family Smiles. Dr. King and his crew? Absolute gems. I used to work in the dental business myself a time ago in West County, so trust me when I say, these guys are the real deal. This past week, I've had 3 crowns, 4 fillings, the best cleaning I've ever had & got Invisalign going. I wasn't blessed with the best of enamel...so I'm super picky about who I see, and our overall treatment plan. First off, Dr. King's got this chill vibe that just calms your nerves the moment you step in - that calming presence is rare in dentistry. I cannot emphasize how important this is...& let me tell ya, they've got it all covered – from routine family stuff to making your smile sparkle with cosmetic work, and he approaches things differently - he sees everything as a whole, not just individual parts. He is a highly skilled dentist, has a really diverse background and is thoughtful in his approach... prioritizing necessary treatments without doing the unnecessary. He just strikes the perfect balance between conservative care and modern practices. Now, let's talk about the real heroes here: Seriously, Erica, my hygienist has magic fingers or something because my teeth have never felt cleaner. And the rest of the team? They're ALL like a well-oiled machine, always on point and super friendly & accommodating...Supriya & Amy are awesome - I can totally tell there's this synergy between Dr. King and his assistants. Oh, and don't even get me started on the front desk crew. They're like your long-lost relatives, welcoming you with open arms as soon as you walk through the door. They're all fabulous, and they know how to run a schedule! Kathy & Richard you're amazing! So, if you're on the hunt for a dental home that feels more like hanging out with friends than going to the dentist, Ballwin Family Smiles is where it's at. No matter who I'm working with, Dr King always stops in to say hello and to check in. He always makes sure that all x-rays are up to date and to see if I have any questions regarding my treatment plan.
