Fantastic experience: Dr. Dill and the entire team make going to the dentist a genuinely great experience! They are friendly, caring, professional, and always make you feel comfortable and welcome. Dr. Dill takes the time to listen and makes sure you feel confident about your care.

Negative experience: Held my three year old down and attempted physical restraint. They exhibited no patience or playfulness with her.

Negative experience: They put the word children in the title. You’d think they would be good with children. Be encouraging or understanding with little ones who aren’t sure of the new experience. No, the word children just means they are trained with children’s mouths. They suck at engaging kids and helping. Psychological torture. They wanted me to hold my child down while they poked and prodded. Seriously!?! There were no issues or emergencies, healthy mouth. But they had to do it their way to bill out. All about the Benjamin’s.

Negative experience: Extremely disappointed in our care for our 2 year old by Dr Wong. We may have just caught him on a bad day but his bedside manner needs to be improved for families going through similar situations. My daughter is missing a few teeth and he basically guaranteed she had this entire genetic disorder. He even pulled up pictures online to I guess instill fear in me, which looked nothing like my daughter but of course had me worried. We went through all of the testing and of course she does not have what he felt absolutely confident she did. We immediately switched dentist and had a completely different experience at our new one. The dentist we see now actually talks to her like she’s a person too and didn’t have me hold her down for look at her teeth. dr Wong approach was for me to strap her down.. but the new dentist talked to her like a capable child and she did amazing and had the best time there. Hoping it was just a bad day and unique experience with him but we were very disappointed in his approach to care on all fronts.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Wong is seriously the best, my two kids (9 and 6) go to him and he puts both my mind and theirs at ease with his amazing bedside manners and the way he talks to them and describes everything so they are comfortable. Fantastic experience: We have been taking our trio here for a couple years now and Dr. Varble is so patient and kind with my kiddos. The whole staff is kind and friendly, especially one of her assistants Jake. He did a marvelous job with my kiddos and eased their anxious minds with his caring demeanor and sense of humor; and my trio left with smiles and no tears! HIGHLY recommend!

Letting him get comfortable with each step of the teeth cleaning process & pictures. I was nervous given how much I personally hated the dentist as a child, if this is where I went growing up I would have been happy to go back. 10/10

After 9 long years of my daughter, not being able to go to the dentist, she went today and got her teeth, fully cleaned with x-rays because of how wonderful these ladies are!

Fantastic experience: The entire office is the absolute BEST! One of my kids has medical anxiety and they are so patient and kind working with them.

Negative experience: I am writing to warn patients about the scheduling and insurance verification process. I scheduled regular check-up appointments for my three children, assuming the dates were in line with the six-month requirements set by our insurance. Unfortunately, the appointments were scheduled four days shy of the full six-month period, resulting in me having to pay out-of-pocket for the visits, including X-ray and fluoride treatments. While I recognize this was partially my oversight for not carefully counting the days, I have always relied on staff to ensure proper scheduling and insurance verification. In the past with other practices, whenever scheduling issues arose, I was notified and adjustments were made as necessary. I scheduled these appointments around my children's school break, and given that we are relatively new patients at this practice, I trusted that staff would verify all necessary details, including insurance coverage, before confirming the visit. I also understand that mistakes happen, and I accepted responsibility for this error. However, when we returned for the next appointment, they again confirmed insurance coverage without notifying me of any changes. To my surprise, I received a bill following our routine check-up, revealing that the practice had gone out-of-network with my insurance. A significant portion of the services that were always covered under my plan was no longer covered, resulting in another substantial financial burden. In total, I paid over $1,000 in six months due to these issues—costs I would not have incurred had proper attention been paid to insurance verification and scheduling. I also want to note that I have always relied on providers to notify me in advance if there are changes to my insurance coverage at time of verification. Is this not the purpose of verifying insurance before a visit? I will not be returning to your practice. Going forward, I will take a more proactive approach to verifying insurance coverage myself and ensuring that all appointments align with the required timeframes. I regret that my experience with Dentistry for Children on Old 94 practice did not meet the expectations I had, especially in regard to communication and attention to detail and cost my family a great deal.

Fantastic experience: Amazing office! Took my princess obsessed 2 1/2 year old here for her first dental visit. She got to meet a real life princess - Skylar! She was so sweet and fun. She made my daughter feel comfortable and even giggle after she had come in very nervous. She even made sure she got a mermaid princess toothbrush to take home. Skylar and Dr. Wong were both very informative and so amazing at making my daughter comfortable during her first visit. Cannot recommend enough!

From the get-go, they have everything geared towards relaxing the kiddos. Coloring sheets, Disney movies, toys. They make the cleaning of the teeth process seamless and so easy! My daughter had Jessica as her hygienist today and she was really amazing, my daughter sat in the big chair for the first time instead of my lap and Jessica did such an awesome job of explaining everything to her in kid friendly ways and making her comfortable opening her mouth. Fantastic experience: I’ve been around the block in the dental world here in STL and I can tell you a good assistant makes all the difference! Jake @ Dentistry For Children is the best I’ve come across—he handled my son so well. I will only schedule my kids’ appointments when he is available! Dr Wong is also great. He was very thorough and patient. Answered all of my questions and didn’t make me feel rushed.

Fantastic experience: If your child is nervous about the dentist, I highly recommend Dr. Dill and his staff! My little one was soo very scared to have a couple fillings, the hygienists worked so hard to calm my child and make them feel so safe. Dr. Dill made jokes and made my little one feel so confident. We walked out and my little one said "That was really so much fun!" Went in scared with tears and walked out confident and so proud! I love this office. Very professional and clean but also fun for the kids.

Fantastic experience: I just love Dr. dill and honestly everyone in the building. They are all so nice and helpful. My insurance had went out , so I had to start paying out of pocket and my daughter really needed her teeth looked at. We booked our second appointment and dr. Dill wanted us to make are appointments a little sooner than I was planning. Dr.dill offered us a 50% discount on All of our upcoming appointments. I could have cried tears of joy in that moment; I really needed that. He so understanding , caring ,gentle and passionate about what he does … if you’re looking for a dentist. This is the one!

Fantastic experience: I spoke with Cierra and Kasey at the fall festival back in Sept. My son had a chipped tooth and Cierra explained how the office provides emergency services. Kasey and Cierra were both very knowledgeable and very kid friendly. Both young women informed me of the work they do and services provided. I will be making the call to set up my appt for all he children soon!

Fantastic experience: We’re so happy we chose Dentistry for Children for our 2 year old’s first dentist visit. The office is immaculate and the people are so kind. The front desk staff were welcoming and the waiting area is very clean. The hygienist, Carly, made our daughter feel comfortable from the start. She explained what was going to happen step by step. Dr. Wong was great. You can tell he is a dad himself. He explained what he was going to do and answered any questions we had. He made our daughter feel comfortable by talking to her, was gentle, and didn’t rush. He also gave us some helpful tips on brushing routine and preventative care, including what has worked for his own kids. After the cleaning, our daughter got to pick out a surprise as well. She also got a new toothbrush, toothpaste, and cute flossers. Even though we talked to our daughter for two weeks about how we were going to the dentist (to help set her up for success) - my wife and I were thrilled with how her first appointment went. As we were walking out of the office, our daughter literally said “I had so much fun”. Couldn’t recommend this office more.

Fantastic experience: I can’t say enough great things about this office and the staff here. My one-year old fell and needed emergency care, and Dr. Parks and his team made time to treat her immediately. They were so kind and helped make a very stressful situation so much easier. The treatment provided was very high quality; even with a rare injury on such a tiny kid, they were able to extract her tooth expertly and with such care. The team was amazing and made us comfortable and were so patient and kind throughout the entire experience. I’ve already recommended Dr. Parks and his office to my friends and family, and I highly recommend them to anyone who needs a pediatric dentist or emergency care. They’ll take great care of you!

Fantastic experience: We came in as a new patient with a medical emergency. They were able to get us in same day. Amber is the sweetest and made us feel so welcomed. Skylar is a doll. She is very personable and helped ease the stress I had been experiencing all day. Dr. Wong is pretty cool too. My son says he did a great job with his teeth and he is awarding him with 5 stars. Fantastic experience: The most amazing experience for my girls! They were not scared and the staff was exceptional. Happy kids = happy mama. (I took my girls to a different local pediatric dentist last year and they had a horrible experience. Saying the girls had MANY cavities and even needed a root canal. Trusting my mother’s intuition, I knew to seek elsewhere and I am so glad I did!)

Fantastic experience: We absolutely loved out visit at this dentist office! The reviews were what led us there and they did not lie. The atmosphere was peaceful. The office staff was genuine, professional and polite. The front desk receptionist took her time reexplaining to me the process of taking the next steps, insurance info, etc. until I fully understood how everything would work going forward. The doctor was humble and patient. He even took the extra time to explain to my child (on her level), how her procedure for the next visit would work so she wouldn't be so afraid. I appreciate this dentist office/staff and pray you will continue to be blessed.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Parks and his staff are absolutely incredibly!! We had gone to 2 other pediatric dentists prior to coming here. One place did not even take X-rays and another wanted to give our two year old a root canal! Neither places made our daughter feel very comfortable either. They got us in extremely quick because of the situation and we came here for a 3rd opinion. and she immediately loved this dentist office!! The environment was calming and fun. Dr. Parks sang to her and she cooperated like we've never seen before. She even does better when we brush her teeth because of how much fun she had at the dentist. She ended up having to get some fillings and even that went smooth! I was very surprised. His staff all sang and got her to sit still without a single fight! I’m so happy we got a third opinion. And it all happened without traumatizing her. He literally saved our daughters tooth from getting the crown. His expertise exceeded our expectations and we couldn’t be more grateful!!! I recommend this to ALL my mama friends and siblings. We’ve been to both of their locations too and each place is equally as amazing! (Visits were at st. Fantastic experience: I was over-the-moon impressed by this dentist practice. From start to finish they made it a positive and fun experience! My daughter was nervous about her cleaning/exam but once she was taken back, they made her butterflies fly away. They explained everything to her in a way that she understood (even simple things such as the radiographs) and the fact that she knew what was taking place before it happened provided her with confidence that everything was going to be okay. They made sure that she was comfortable and did fun things like let her pick her toothpaste flavor (from 5 different options), took a Polaroid and put it in a little keepsake frame, let her pick a good prize from the dentists toy chest and another small one from the register, entered her guess in a contest for a chance to win a large basket prize, and more. They also made several cute analogies for the upcoming work she will be having (such as wearing a Peppa Pig gas mask for the laughing gas, defining her extraction as giving her tooth a hug, promising her tooth back for the Tooth Fairy, etc). Dr. Varble was amazing and we loved her hands-on approach and the affection she exuded for my daughter. I left there so pleased that I wanted to switch my dentist but I am about 22 years too late. Exemplary customer service and patient bedside manner!! Fantastic practice and HIGHLY recommended!!!

Fantastic experience: I am so happy to have found Dr. Dill and the whole team at Dentistry for Children. My older son (5 yrs old) really struggles with the dentist and they do such a good job adjusting to his needs - from scheduling an appointment for him during slower, calmer times to talking him through every tool and step of the cleaning process. He responds so well to Dr. Dill, who is always calm and talks to him directly as well, making him feel more in control of the situation. Dr. Dill's easy temperament always gets my son to relax immediately. I am also so pleased with their services for toddlers! They have a great process for cleaning their teeth quickly and thoroughly (I wouldn't say my 18 month old loves it, but he gets through it with almost no tears!). I would highly recommend this practice to anyone looking for a dentist for their child.
