Fantastic experience: I was very happy with my experience at Cardinal Dental. I went to Dr Blalock to replace a crown that another dentist did a few months ago that already split apart. Dr Blalock did a great job assessing the situation and was able to start to crown replacement process. The staff was very helpful and friendly throughout the appointment.

Negative experience: They got me in quickly which I appreciated and the majority of my work went well. One of my two crowns I had put in fell out less than an hour after leaving the office. The office told me I was eating candy which is why it happened, but I hadn’t eaten that day and was only drinking a shake. I hadn’t chewed anything. The crown needed to be redone and is now resulting in me needing surgery to try and save the tooth. The office was unwilling to work with me on any type of reimbursement regarding the one crown that needed to be fixed. I wouldn’t not recommend this office any longer after speaking with their office manger and the way she handled my situation. She was extremely rude and unhelpful. Everyone else I spoke with was pleasant though!

Negative experience: I had an issue. I googled local oral surgeons in the area who handle it. They came up, saying they "passionately" do the surgery. When I called to inquire, I was met with rudeness, dismissiveness, and called a liar. They claimed they never did the very same surgery they advertised. I called back again to read them the post, but, acting like children, they were too bothered and just started ignoring my calls. Apparently this is how this business treats potential customers.

Fantastic experience: Great experience, took both my sons (6 and 9 yrs) was able to get appointments right way, office staff was friendly and inviting, doctor spent time to explain everything thoroughly, highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: My family has been coming to Dr. Blaylock for dental care for almost a decade. Because of her and her amazing staff, my kids actually look forward to going to the dentist! Also, her newest addition to her dental family, Randy, is our most favorite hygienist ever! She’s extremely knowledgeable and talks you through every step she takes. Looking forward to seeing them again in 6 months!!!

Fantastic experience: The staff is always fast and friendly and up to date on the latest in dentistry. My wife was just in and she likes the fact the dental work is always pain free! I had dental work done today and they introduced a new soft plastic device that helps keep the jaw open while a cavity was being drilled out. It took the stress off of the jaw muscles and made the procedure much easier and quicker. This is important for me since I have fibromyalgia and muscle pain is an issue. Once again Cardinal Dental tries to keep up on the latest tools and procedures of dentistry. Thanks! While I had a tooth extracted by an oral surgeon last Thursday an existing crown was accidently knocked out Cardinal dental was able to schedual me in right away to recement the crown back in. I should be able to have an implant place in soon to replace the extracted tooth. I'm always able to get quick and friendly serice at Cardinal dental.

Negative experience: I am sure the dentists are amazing but the office staff are very unprofessional and dont seem to communicate correct insurance and billing info..you know the saying great doctors not so great office staff.

Fantastic experience: I usually have a very pleasant experience at Cardinal Dental (and I hate going to the dentist). Dr. B is awesome and extremely thorough. She examines your entire mouth, not just your teeth. I did have a new hygienist this past time who was extremely quiet. She rarely spoke, and when she did, it was so soft that I had to ask her to repeat herself every time. She still did a good job on my teeth and I was in and out very quickly. All other hygienists I've had have been great. Also, they must have in my chart that I have sensitive teeth, because they are always careful with me. My teenage daughter and adult son also go here, and my daughter loves that they treat her like an adult. Staff are extremely friendly, more so than most businesses.

My 3 year old had the absolute best time while my 12 year old had all of her insecurities melted away with the many compliments she received. Fantastic experience: Natalie was the most efficient dental hygienist I've ever met in my 75 years. She is the type of employee who would be considered a great asset to any dentist office. I only wish Cardinal Dental accepted the Essence Medicare Advantage Plus HMO so I could have Cynthis as my dentist. I will certainly recommend Cardinal Dental to everyone I know and those whom I meet in the future.

Fantastic experience: I haven’t went to the dentist in over 6 years and I was terrified to go. The individuals who work here are amazing. I must have asked a million questions to my dentist and technicians, they answered all of them and broke it down for me to understand. They even had enlarged pictures of my x-rays to really explain what they were talking about. The front desk and billing section was painless as well. They answered it all and it really felt like they cared (they did).

Fantastic experience: Absolutely amazing experience! Super friendly for my young toddlers and very supportive of me trying to handle them all during the appointments. Dr. Even took my kids who weren't getting their cleaning on an "adventure" to help make sure everyone was getting what they needed. Dentist was great with the kids and informative on things that were concerning to me. Love Cardinal dental for my family!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Blalock and her entire staff are PHENOMENAL. They create such a fun, relaxed, and welcoming environment. They work hard to make sure your kiddo (or the adults as well!) feel comfortable and calm, making adjustments as needed. We live 45 minutes away from the office but I find it 100% worth the drive for such outstanding care!

Negative experience: Do NOT go here I went here seeking a tongue tie release. Dr. Blalock did not want to release my tongue tie without prior myofunctional therapy (The therapist she referred me to, Nicole Edwin, later confirmed I didn’t need therapy at all.) Dr. Blalock recommended Invisalign, claiming it would expand my palate and she’d release my tongue tie at the end of treatment. Funny enough, she never mentioned my tongue tie or palate again throughout the entire process. Not sure she even realized I had it released by another Dr or measured my palate. I paid $4500 upfront for the comprehensive plan, only to find out upon picking up my trays that they were offering the same treatment for $1000 less — they refused to credit my account. I was also made to think the comprehensive plan included unlimited trays, but when I needed replacements, they were suddenly $120 each. Appointments were rushed, and I was constantly dismissed when I voiced concerns — including being told to wear the same gross aligner for 12 weeks straight and deal with pain because of their refusal to order passive trays. Also including being told that, after driving 45 minutes to their office, they had no hygienists available to do my cleaning. When I asked to pick up my final trays a few days early to avoid delaying my treatment over a trip, I was transferred between staff and belittled by the office manager. They only agreed to let me take my trays 5 days early after I got emotional. When removing my attachments, Dr. Blalock almost filed down my front teeth without asking — I only stopped her because I overheard her say “and I’m going to fix your little chippies” I appreciated they let my bring my child with me to appointments, and they gave me an electric toothbrush. My teeth are fairly straight now. Cool. But this office is a scam that prioritizes profit over patients. Don’t let them take advantage of you like they did me.

Fantastic experience: Experience was excellent, Chelsea was the best. I have been to other Dentist office but she fixed my issue the first time. Everyone was very happy and very nice, my experience great.

Negative experience: Horrible! I had an appointment scheduled weeks in advance for 2pm. I was called day of to reschedule my time to 10am or 11am due to the winter storm. It was never ***clearly*** communicated to me what exactly was happening. I was told my one lady that everyone with later appointments were scheduled to earlier times (I just wanted to returny appointment time to 2pm), then I was told my appointment time slot was already filled by someone else, and lastly told by Chelsea (apparently the manager) that the office was closing early. Both times I talked to someone (a total of 3 different women) they had to put me on hold to "figure out what's going on" from someone else. Since no one could give me a straight answer I opted to remove myself from the patient list entirely. And to be transparent, I did hang up the phone on one lady. I was currently stuck in the snow trying to get to the appointment and had to answer the call from the tow. She couldn't give me a straight answer and I was frustrated being stuck in the snow due to the rescheduling. The second woman transferred me to a voicemail box. But Chelsea (woman #3) had an attitude upon answering the phone and I am one to match energy. Sooooo..... I don't like it when people constantly cut me off while I'm speaking. I asked her once not to do that, but she continued. Since I could not get a word in, I said "I think it's best that I am removed from the patient list" and Chelsea scathingly responded "I think that's best for everyone" and hung up.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Cynthia and her team was awesome. McKayla was amazing with the cleaning and Kayla and Emily were super fun up front. Excited for my Tooth Hurty appointment coming up! Plus all the singing lol. Great atmosphere here!

Fantastic experience: I took my daughter here for an Invisalign appointment today. I was so impressed with the staff and this doctor that I will be moving my entire family to utilize the full dental services that are offered here. Most places say they will go above and beyond. No on is going to beat this one. Too many things to mention- taking the extra time, the entire staff incredibly knowledgeable, everyone is friendly and truly cares and values your time and who you are as a person. They make you feel good and you actually want to go back….. to the dentist!! I would rate more stars if I could. Thank you Dr. Blalock for taking exceptional care of my daughter today. We will be back soon.

Fantastic experience: Cardinal dental is the best! I have been taking both of my boys there for almost 3 years! On a recent visit my 4 year old could not wait to hug Dr. Blalock. He was so excited to show her how well he has brushed his teeth! Cierra was also great, she was the first one to actually get my 2 year old brush his teeth. All the staff are great with my kids and they actually look forward to going to the dentist!

Fantastic experience: From the moment I walked into the door I felt very welcomed and comfortable. Dr. Blalock and staff are very professional, friendly, personable and knowledgeable. I’ve gone to a couple dentist in the past few years and I’ve finally found a place that just clicks. Thank you all for such a great experience. Fantastic experience: We took my son as an infant to Dr. Blalock for feeding and latching issues and she was wonderful but it was a significant travel so we did not continue routine dental care there. Since we’ve recently had bad experiences at another dentist we have returned to her, and will continue to see her for our children’s routine dental care because she is trustworthy and cares about patients as a whole person, or whole family in our case. She is not in a hurry to get you out, if you need her attention you have it. She is very thorough and provides adequate education and explanations of all her recommendations and keeps me as a parent very comfortable about making informed decisions regarding my child’s needs! I wish I could give her 10 out of 5 stars because businesses are just not like this one anymore! It’s a rare find that someone actually cares about your needs and well being as a patient and not about making as much money as fast as they can. Every single staff member in this office upholds this standard of care. From front desk receptionist, to hygienist to dentist, They all take their time with you and care that you are comfortable and have all needs met. They are all wonderful with my little kids and take the time to establish a rapport to make going to the dentist a fun experience, not a scary one! As an added bonus, most dental offices are scheduling 3-6 months out for existing and new patients (we know because we struggled to find one after trauma to primary teeth) but I’ve been able to get both of my children into Dr. Blalock quickly, one next day appointment and one just a couple weeks out.

Fantastic experience: Very clean and pleasant place. Staff was friendly. Everything was explained to me in a pleasant manner. Showed me x-rays and pictures so that I can visually see what needs to be done. They worked with my schedule as well as theirs to come up with a plan.

Fantastic experience: My family has been going to this dentist for a little over a year now. I initially went in because my teeth were terrible and I thought I was going to need to remove all my teeth and get dentures. Instead, only a few teeth needed to come out and the rest were fixed up. I potentially have a metal allergy and this week they removed an old dental bridge and put me into invisaligns to straighten my teeth while my gums heal for a non-metal bridge. My mouth has never looked better. It's been seriously life changing. I feel like this whole office (not just the dentist) cares deeply about their patients. They LISTEN! If you are looking for a new dentist, go here. They will take care of you and your whole family. Also, just as a side note - the dentist can sing pretty well too.

Fantastic experience: This practice, Dr. B and her entire staff are wonderful. They are incredibly patient caring and supportive. I have been impressed and grateful to have found this dental office. I’m so happy I chose to do Invisalign with them. I have my daughter starting her Invisalign journey with them. I trust them and their clinical knowledge. It’s absolutely clear they put their patients first. I’d highly recommend this practice.

Negative experience: Unfortunately, I have to give this company a 2-star rating. When I first scheduled services with Cardinal Dental, it was due to a referral from my pediatric dental office. After my child was evaluated Dr. B then referred me and my family to one of their partners, who provided horrible services. Cardinal Dental presented this company as their preferred provider, stating that after completing six sessions, we could schedule my son for his tongue-tie release. Things went sour after my child reached his sixth week with the recommended provider. I informed Dr. B and her team that my son was ready to schedule his release. Dr. B then stated that the person who needed to make the appointment was out due to feeling under the weather and that they would call me when she returned to sch. appointment for release. I waited two weeks with no call from their staff. On the day I decided to withdraw services from their partner, I received a call from Cardinal Dental attendant, Sara, stating that Dr. B would not be performing any more releases for new clients. I asked Ms. Sara if this had anything to do with the conversation, I had just had 18 minutes earlier with their preferred provider. She said no, explaining that Dr. B had made this decision earlier this year. I pointed out that my child was not a new client, he had been evaluated earlier this year. Ms. Sara reiterated that Dr. B made this decision at the beginning of the year prior to my child's appointment. No one informed me of this policy, despite seeing me and my child come in for seven weeks, interacting with us regularly as we walked past their front desk heading to the preferred provider. Instead of being told about a policy that likely does not exist, I would have preferred the truth about why my child was being denied services. We paid privately to the other company and were prepared to pay privately to Cardinal Dental as well. My child and I did everything we were supposed to do to get the release. I am very disappointed in how Cardinal Dental handled this situation. Due to my personal experience, I cannot recommend their services. Very unfortunate

Positive experience: I saw this establishment several times. I had 3 cavities filled and that part was actually fine. However, When I had my initial evaluation I will say that I was asked if I wanted fluoride, no one told me it would cost anything, and when I said yes it was just added to my teeth. I went to leave and make the appointment for my fillings and was told I had to pay for the fluoride treatment at $25.00. I was a bit shocked, but paid it. When I had the rest of my evaluation Clear Braces were discussed - the kind that you get new ones every two weeks, etc. This turned out in the quote to be VERY expensive. However, while I wasn't sure what I wanted to do the Dr kept pushing me and pushing me and they kept taking pictures of my teeth to go along with the Clear Braces. They kept saying they would follow up to see what my decision was in 2 days etc...it just seemed so pushy. What I really needed was to get a leftover baby tooth that had a cavity removed and a bridge...and when I got a price estimate of that with the Clear braces they HAD to get me, it was over $7K. I decided to not go back and went back to my previous oral maxillary dental surgeon for the tooth removal and my previous dentist for a "flipper" to wear for my missing tooth for now for $400, since the baby tooth is a little up front. All I can say is, you don't always "get" what you pay for. I feel that Cardinal Dental was overpriced and pushy so I went back to Discovery Dental and got exactly what I needed at a reasonable price. Thank you.

Fantastic experience: The front desk team was very welcoming, Lauren and Dr. B took their time with me. I got an appointment right away. They discovered the reason causing the pain. They ran my insurance and educated me on the why, my options with cost, and the future based on the options of my oral health. I couldn't be happier from the result of changing to a new dental group.

Fantastic experience: The staff is welcoming and personable, as is Dr. Blalock. Everyone in the office has made my wife, son and I feel welcome. They remember us and details of our lives, making us feel like more than just more patients. International/interethnic families need not fear discrimination at Cardinal Dental. My wife, who I met in Honduras while serving in the Peace Corps, has had great experiences here, which we can't say about another dental office down the street.

Fantastic experience: I've been visiting Cardinal Dental for nearly a decade now, and as someone that has hated dental visits for the bulk of my life, I can't stress enough how great this place is. Every staff member i've interacted with have been extremely friendly, the hygenists have been very thorough in cleanings and checking for issues with my teeth (usually caused by my own poor personal dental hygiene), and Dr. Blalock is extremely knowledgeable and willing to explain things whenever i've been curious to know more about my teeth. As of writing this review, i'm 28 weeks into my own Invisalign treatment, and my teeth have never been in nearly as great of shape as they are now. (Background context: i had braces when i was a teenager and the day i got out of them i was told i would need surgery to realign my jaw and correct for a permanent crossbite...at this point, the cross bite is nearly gone without surgery. Additionally, Dr. Blalock correctly determined that i've been dealing with a tongue tie issue for most of my life, and she did the procedure to correct for that as well.) Choosing to use this office has definitely been one of the better decisions i've made in my life, and i hope if you're reading this review that you choose to use them as well.

Every single person made me feel like we had been friends for a life time, they’re all so warm and welcoming and really helped me feel comfortable when I was nervous. If you are nervous about going to the dentist, and are looking for a new place, I can’t recommend this place enough. They’re amazing!!

Fantastic experience: I took my 95 yr old mother to Cardinal Dental today and was blown away by the compassion and helpfulness of the staff and Dr. Blalock. They were patient, explained everything they were planning to do and again while they were doing it . They definitely went above and beyond my expectations!

Negative experience: I made the appointment with the expectation of having my teeth cleaned. I was informed at the appointment that I was there for a "consultation" and would have to return for a second appointment. Highly disappointed. Nowhere was it mentioned that my teeth would not be cleaned. Communication breakdown.

Fantastic experience: My stepdaughter and I went to another area dentist and were diagnosed with thousands of dollars of work. We thought we were being nickeled and dimed so we came to Cardinal for a second opinion. The experience couldn’t have been more different, from start to finish. Welcoming staff, explanations and visuals of all issues, easy scheduling, etc. can’t recommend enough!

We started treatment with Dr. Blalock when she was 10 weeks old for a lip and tongue tie release and have continued her routine visits since! The office and staff are extremely kid friendly and make our visits smooth and fun for Fiona! She’s 2 now and absolutely loves visiting the dentist!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Cyndi and the staff at Cardinal Dental are always very professional, polite, and provide great care. They truly have my best interest in mind and they do great work. I previously had a root canal performed by another dentist. Unfortunately they left a large food trap which caused irritation and other problems. I had another dentist take a look and they chose to leave it as it was. Dr. Cyndi took the time to take a closer look, discovered the food trap that was causing the issues, then removed and replaced the cap. Her work is far superior to what I've experienced in the past. I couldn't be happier!

Their facilty was very nice and had a cute little play area for my son before his visit. The consultation room was very cozy and made you feel relaxed. The procedure was quick and they were super informative. I highly recommend using cardinal dental for a tie whether your baby is young or a toddler.

Fantastic experience: I broke a tooth and needed an immediate dental solution. I called Cardinal Dental and they got me in the same day. I was treated by Dr.Holdener. She reassured me I was in good hands. The next day I was in, treated, and crown installed ON THE SAME VISIT!! Dr.Holdener is an AMAZING Dentist and her assistant Michi was equally AMAZING. The team at Cardinal Dental run a 5⭐️Plus practice!!!

Negative experience: Be prepared to be pressured to get fillings.. I had been coming here for a few years and was told we could watch a few spots that came up on x-ray but wasn't bothering me. With each visit it became more obvious they were just interested in getting me to agree to them to do more work. Then today I was told that I could no longer be a patient because I just wanted to wait any watch these. Horrible pressure to get fillings then dumped if you say no. Don't recommend this place at all.

Fantastic experience: I took both of my daughters (ages 11 months and 8 years) to have Dr. Blalock revise their lip and tongues ties. We met Dr. Blalock, she examined the girls to make sure they were ready for revisions, and used her laser to correct their ties that day! She was easy to talk to, listened to my questions, and gave me some good advice on stretches and outside work my kiddos might need in order to help their mouths and muscles heal properly. She and her staff praised my oldest for doing such a good job and it really helped her to feel more comfortable with the whole situation. They also called the next morning to check up on my girls and see if I had any other questions. They were thorough and the whole staff very clearly loves helping kids and moms with this type of thing. I highly recommend using Cardinal Dental for tie revisions for kids of any age!

Negative experience: Got a bill 6 months after having a filling done first part that was very un professional. Second it's taken me over 90 days to get a hold of them. They keep send the bill and notice that they are sending my bill to collection yet I had called them over 30 times in 90 days with no answer or call back. Most unprofessional dental office I've ever been to.

Negative experience: Update: we ended up having to switch dentist after the past few cleanings. Waiting over an hour each time for what should be a very quick visit was just unacceptable. I realize things happen at times, but this has happened to both my husband and I, for a total of 4 visits. Everyone at the office is super nice, with the exception of the hygienist, but I couldn't justify having my time wasted. The new hygienist would tell the dentist what to do and was honestly pretty rude. Going to the dentist is not my favorite thing to do. But everyone at Cardinal dental is so nice and easy to talk to! I'm so glad I finally found a dentist who I can go to without worries!

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend Cardinal Dental! I recently had to have my two front teeth crowned. Very traumatic event for me! The ladies that work here are so compassionate, caring and understanding. I was made to feel at ease and they helped relieve any stress I had about the situation. I cannot say how extremely happy I am with the results. The crowns are perfection, they look like my real teeth. No one will ever know that they are crowns! Cardinal Dentals' work is impeccable!
