Fantastic experience: Do I want to ever get another crown? Definitely not. But if it happens, I will 1000% be going yo Elm Dental!

Fantastic experience: I have been a patient for over 15 years. Dr Sutter recently took on my 86 YO mom who was very worried about her first appointment. She left feeling very confident that she was going to get the best care possible. The staff treated her with dignity and respect. They came up with an affordable plan for her partial repairs and her new improved smile. My mom's new favorite dentist is Elm Dental Group. Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: I was terrified to go to the dentist and they made the whole experience good. My hygienist takes the best care of me. She makes sure I’m okay during the whole process.

Negative experience: I felt really uncomfortable there. The people were rather cold, the office is too hot, and apparently many of the people have not been taught to communicate with civility or professionalism. Also the handicapped parking is behind the building, so why bother. I am going back to my old dentist who is much more professional even though my insurance does not pay as much there. Also, I don't like being told "I will hurt you" by an employee.

Fantastic experience: Everyone is so friendly at Elm Dental Care. The dental care they provide is exceptional. I can't say enough about my hygienist Kristine, she is the absolute best.

Fantastic experience: This was my first visit at Elm Dental and I must say I really liked it. I was taken to the back within 2 minutes of arrival and the hygienist ( Lauren got right to work). Lauren and Dr. Michael came up with a very simple game plan for my oral health, made some suggestions and booked another appointment. All and all I can say this was a very positive experience.

I've been a patient of Elm Dental for over 8 years after being "forced to switch" by Delta Dental (Insurance Provider). The switch has been beneficial to me, in terms of the thoroughness of the care, the consultation and advisement on how to improve my hygiene and particulars of my present situation. They have an excellent fact-based, and measurement-based approach to care and have helped me tremendously.

Fantastic experience: Changed dentists after 26 years and was very happy with my choice. My hygienist was very helpful with X-rays and educational regarding teeth and gum health.

Positive experience: My tech is great. She gets me in and out and does a awesome job. What I didn't like was being charged for having vertigo and had to cancel my appointment. I felt that was unfair. Once again the tech was awesome.

Fantastic experience: Elm Dental Care was very proficient with advance phone calls and emails days before my appointment to remind me and explain the planned procedure along with my out-of-pocket cost (not covered by my insurance plan). The receptionist quickly checked me in, and the wait time was very short. The dental hygenist (Jamie) was very friendly, informative, knowledgeable and "gentle" while probing around my teeth and gums. The dentist (Dr. Leutchmann) was also very friendly, knowledgeable and professional as he reviewed and confirmed the hygenist's report in my presence. Overall, the appointment was very pleasant, painless and as short as possible. Afterwards, the administrator scheduled my next (2) convenient pariodontal maintenance appointments for the remaining year, as recommended by the hygenist - couldn't be happier!

Negative experience: Had issue with verification of insurance. It took some investigation but we found it! Then was told that I was late and I wasn’t the verification was and wanted to charge me $25…. Worst part they called me because they had open slots. I will take my bi annual cleaning else where

Negative experience: I've been using this dentist for a few years. I've had an appointment for tomorrow for about six months. I got a call this morning saying they no longer accept my insurance but they would happily accept money. Again, my appointment is tomorrow. Paying out of pocket would mean I pay for insurance and my dental care. Did I mention my appointment is tomorrow.

I had to have a tooth pulled, and he talked to me all The way through it. No jerking and no tugging. I was so relieved I was scared to death. Fantastic experience: Omg, what started out ( in my head) to be a scary, ordeal, turn my two front teeth into a work of art, those 2 teeth were always crossed, and one recently chipped, now at 65yrs, it's my turn to take self-care, so Elm Dental, Dr Sutton, replaced both with porcelain caps, that makes me smile again, and it was pretty much painless, thank you again, and to assistance Brooklyn, who helped me tremendously by keeping me calm, and explaining details that helped me understand the process

Negative experience: I do not recommend this office and if I could give a ZERO rating I would. I started my denture journey in 2023 with Dr. Grybinas and he was the absolute best. In the middle of this I had a heart issue arise so I had to halt the dental. I learned Dr. G had changed locations, so I followed him there but then he had to temporarily stop practicing so I called Elm Dental in hopes to start over from 2023. I was in the chair getting x-ray/moldings when I started to get people coming to me with charges, however I never received a consultation from the new dentist or anyone else. It appeared they were going to just take whatever notes were in my chart from 2023 and run with that. The front desk clerk was pleasant but everyone else was not and the female "dentist" Studder or Stutter had a bad disposition and attitude and didn't seem to care at all. It was the worst experience ever and there is nothing they can do or say that I will ever go back there or recommend to anyone else.

Negative experience: If you have a child or are are an adult with a smaller mouth, I highly recommend that you do not go to this place. Their staff is nothing but newbies learning the trade who don't have the foggiest idea on how to do anything. Normally I'm all about students learning, but not when it hurts patients. Today they jacked up my jaw. I'm now on ice and hoping they didn't do major damage like they did with my mom (torn meniscus). I should have left a long time ago but was lazy and liked that it was so close. I'd rather drive than deal with this again.

Negative experience: I would like to start by saying, the hygienist who cleaned my teeth was amazing- it was probably the best cleaning I’ve ever received. I’ve been a patient of Dr. Leuchtmann for years, probably since the practice opened. I’ve always felt welcome and had a pleasant experience, until my most recent appointment. As a mom of 4 children, I do my best to try to have child care when I visit the dentist, but unfortunately, that is not always an option. I’ve brought my children to appointments at their office numerous times over the past 7-10 years and it has never been an issue. The hygienist yesterday actually complimented how well behaved they were more than once, so you can imagine my surprise when the receptionist scheduling my next appointment informed me that I would only be able to bring ONE child to my next appointment, siting “safety concerns”. I was so taken aback that I really didn’t know what to say. I could understand if they were running around the office, causing a ruckus and misbehaving, but they literally just sat in the room the entire time and watched their iPads…3/4 didn’t even really speak the entire time. I contacted the office and was told by the office manager that this is the policy, so if you have children, find a different dentist- they aren’t welcome here.

Fantastic experience: The best dental office I have been to thus far. The DA, I think her name is Jamie, was very helpful. Her customer service skills are excellent and she was very informative. They even worked with me with the insurance company. Thank you.

Positive experience: If you’re looking for a great teeth cleaning-this place does a great job. The hygienist spent a lot of time cleaning my teeth. If you’re looking for a good dentist-I don’t recommend this place. The dentist sat down and checked my teeth for less than 30 seconds and said looks good, then proceeded to leave. He didn’t ask if I had any questions or say who he was. I didn’t even know it was the dentist. When he walked away I had to ask if it was the dentist. I understand being busy at work given I’m an ER nurse but he might as well have not even checked my teeth.

My experience has been the best, but what's even more important, is that they take care of my elderly mother who has Alzheimers. They are so good with her and so kind and patient. She is not easy to deal with, and they are amazing with her!

Negative experience: Worst experience ever. Jessica R finished cleaning my teeth in 5 minutes, but I didn't get out until after 2 hours. I had no idea why I was waiting. Hygienist didn't know where any tools were. Her hands were shaking throughout the cleaning. I told the doctor about how bad of a job hygienist did. They had me wait for over an hour. Instead of sending another hygienist, they sent the same one again. Very badly run, untrained staff and do not care about the customer. Such a waste of time and money. Zero star from me.

The offices were clean and comfortable, the staff was personable and friendly, my cleaning was painless and quick, and no one tried to sell me treatments I didn’t need. Also it was covered by my Delta Dental insurance so it was very affordable.

From scheduling, to the greeting when we arrived, my dental hygienist, Kristen, and then to the main man Dr. G, everyone was so kind and very knowledgeable. I’m very happy to have found a new dental group for our family :)

Fantastic experience: Had teeth cleaned and checked up with Lauren. She was awesome never had such clean teeth feeling after a cleaning ever. Very thorough and sweet!!!

Negative experience: Upon arrival, I spoke with an assistant who assured me that my visit would be covered and I would not have a copay. During my cleaning, I informed the hygienist that I was sensitive and requested numbing gel that didn’t really work. I suggested the anesthesia which she offered as an alternative, but I guess she didn’t find it necessary and just used the hand tool. So today, I’m sure there’s still more cleaning that needs to be done. After getting X-rays & cleanings, I was told funds were due and I informed staff that this was contrary to what I was advised. The most important issue is that when I told them about this, Courtney (who was not even working in the front, but in a separate room) became argumentative with me. Perhaps she felt the need to speak for the adult I was talking to. Courtney was nasty and determined to argue the last word in spite of what I was sharing with her about charges. A Word of advice: Listen to hear the customer and not to defend. I would NOT recommend this place for two reasons- 1. Added charges w/o forewarning the patient. 2. Unprofessional conflict resolution and demeanor of front office staff, more specifically Courtney, who had a disgusting attitude and way too much mascara ‍♀️

Fantastic experience: So grateful I found this office I was quoted over $12000 worth of work from nickodem dental And that's with there savings plan decided to get second opinion and shop around for multiple reasons found Elm Dental Care bought the aetna savings plan . Had all the same work quoted plus an extra crown this time around. All in was $4800 That's a $7200 dollar difference already started on some of the work and they did a great job Give this place a chance if you don't have insurance ask about savings plan its limitless for savings I'm super grateful for this office already set up appointment for my fiance as well!

Negative experience: I came in for an emergency visit because I believed that I had an infected tooth and from the x-rays, I was correct. The dental assistant brought in the lead vest to take x-rays but never put it on me to reduce radiation exposure. I had to ask her to put it on. The the doctor confirmed that it was an infection, he offered to extract it before antibiotics. If anyone has been through this process, you know there is a very high chance that you won't get numb if you have an active infection, which would increase me pain. I asked and he prescribed an antibiotic. Even though they saw how inflamed and swollen I was, and how much pain I was in, they didn't prescribe me any pain meds. I even asked at the end of our appointment and they still declined. The next day I had to be taken to the ER because the pain and the infection got so bad. The ER doctor prescribed a different antibiotic and pain meds and the infection went down in less than 24 hours. I am so thankful for the ER doctor. I WOULD NEVER GO BACK TO THIS DENTAL OFFICE!!!!!

Positive experience: I visited Elm Dental Today. First of All I am Extremely Petrified of going to the Denist. I went in for a cleaning, but since I have not been in a Looong time , I was told i would have to go back for a Deep cleaning., and go back for each side of my mouth. Well Once I got done being Extremely rude,I Apologized and made my appointements.Praying All Goes Good and I get the Same Hygienist. She was Super Kind and Calm..even though I was not the nicest at times.Sorry

Negative experience: I love the hygienists here, they have all been so thorough and amazing! However, I have been with this office since beginning of 2017 and I had a family emergency the day of my most recent appointment and called the office to let them know I would be 5 minutes late and the office told me they couldn't see me because I was only booked for 30 minutes for a cleaning and xrays and that wouldn't give the hygienist enough time, so I asked to reschedule and she said she would not reschedule me because unfortunately I have missed two appointments in the past, however could not provide dates of the two missed appointments. I started to cry because it took months to get into them for a cleaning (as an established patient) because they were so booked out. Then, I received a very hateful letter in the mail that was very vague, condescending, and unprofessional. Also, during one of my appointments their dentist could not seat my crown appropriately, after two attempts and four hours later he got it right. I showed grace and understanding by still remaining to be a patient there after that poor experience. So where was the grace here for me as a patient? Were the two "missed " appointments years ago?? Also, who can get a cleaning and xrays done in 30 minutes and be thorough? All my previous cleaning/xrays there took 45 minutes to a hour. Also, I have been on time and had to wait up to 20 minutes after my appointment start time before being called back, so that's ok but I'm not allowed to be 5 minutes late due to a family emergency? Also, the hateful letter sent was initialed by the office manager with no name so I don't even know who to call and request more information about this incident. I am a nurse and paramedic and would never treat patients like this, even when they are yelling at me directly in my face. I think that's why I am so upset about this because of the lack of grace, compassion, professionalism, communication, and explanation.

Fantastic experience: I had to get a molar pulled. I was so nervous. Dr. G was AMAZING!! He administered the shots nice and slow and removed my tooth with great finesse. I’ve worked for dentists many moons ago and I must say that I am extremely happy with my new dentist, Dr. G. His staff is very friendly and make you feel at ease. I would highly recommend Elm Dental to take care of all of your dental needs!!

Positive experience: I’ve been going here for years. It is recommended we have six months check ups, however recently after my appointment they could not do six months, the soonest they could do was eight months. It tells me they are taking on WAY too many patients and over booking. Seems they care more about money these days than patients. I have a new dentist now and they were able to get me a six month appointment right away.

Fantastic experience: Long story but... my dentist of 20yrs retired so I was forced to find a new one. ARGH! I have no issues with my teeth but of course after, a crown fell off. I googled and based on reviews and how close they were and the speed of an appointment for a non patient, I went to Elm. Great service, but heard from a relative about another place close by. I booked my cleaning with them for April - they just opened the door to new patients. Yesterday, the cap cam off again - I expected this the doctor warned me and I'm addicted to Milk Duds! Called the "new place" and they said no, they couldn't help. I said, my tooth fell out... no, you're not a patient until AFTER your April appointment - sorry we can't help you. I was speechless! Called Elm back, they got me in the same day and back in this morning and fixed my tooth. Wonderful, friendly staff and the Doctor went above and beyond an already fully booked day and MADE an opening for me this morning! I guess I found my new dentist! So very happy with everything about Elm and so happy I cancelled my "new patient" appointment with the other place. Elm makes the patient a priority even when you're not really their patient! So happy - things happen for a reason. ;) Update to this post - I'm currently a patient with Elm Dental and have had a few cleanings - LOVE CHRISTINE - and the entire staff! So very happy I found my new dental home... they're hard to come by and Elm is a keeper!!
