Led by our skilled dentist, Dr. Yun Min Kang, we strive to meet all of your dental needs by carefully evaluating your overall oral health and offering a variety of effective dental treatments, including dentures, crowns, and implants. We also provide mouth reconstruction, cancer treatment, and tooth extractions. As a full service dental office, we attempt to create a personalized treatment plan for each of our patients, combining excellent general treatments, restorative care, cosmetic dentistry, and more with cutting-edge dental technology, including 3D imaging.

Negative experience: Why am I sharing this information? Because I want others to be aware of my experience, which began on June 22, 2026. My front tooth broke off completely. I contacted several dental offices to find a dentist who accepted my insurance, Delta Dental with VA CHAMPVA. I explained that my goal was to have my tooth repaired. Dr. Yun M. Kang assured me that it would not be a problem and scheduled additional appointments. At my next appointment, the planned procedures were to extract the remaining root and complete a bone graft. When I arrived, Dr. Kang administered the numbing injections. After waiting approximately 10 minutes for the anesthesia to take effect, he informed me that the membrane required for the procedure had not arrived. As a result, the procedure could not be completed, and I was sent home after receiving the injections and being left numb. I was asked to return the following week once the necessary material was available. At my next visit, I went in to have my stitches removed, receive my permanent tooth, and confirm that the healing process was complete. Dr. Kang stated that the area had healed very well. When I asked about the next step, he informed me that my insurance benefits had been exhausted for the year. I had already paid more than $1,400 out of pocket. He explained that moving forward would be my decision and asked how much I was willing to pay. At my initial appointment, the front desk provided an invoice outlining the recommended treatment plan. I signed the document, agreeing to proceed with the treatment and pay my portion upfront. After completing these steps, I was informed that additional costs would be required because my insurance benefits had been used. At this point, I am still wearing a retainer, and my tooth has not been completed. I also experienced difficulty communicating with Dr. Kang due to a language barrier. However, clear communication regarding treatment plans, costs, and expectations is essential regardless of the circumstances. I encourage others to carefully review their treatment plans, obtain all agreements in writing, and ensure that both the patient and the provider are clear about the procedures to be completed, associated costs, and expected outcomes before beginning treatment. Because we respect our patients' privacy, we cannot discuss the details of treatment on a public forum. However, we would like to clarify a few general points. Treatment recommendations, insurance estimates, and financial arrangements are reviewed by our administrative team before treatment begins. We do not discuss insurance benefits or payment decisions chairside during treatment.
Regarding the procedure that was postponed, we strive to ensure all materials are ready for our patients. Unfortunately, an unforeseen delay in receiving a necessary material occurred, and we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this caused.
Regarding your insurance, our office does not bill VA CHAMPVA directly. As our front office team explained during your visit, we recommended that you submit your receipts to the VA for possible reimbursement. We strive to present treatment recommendations, estimated costs, and available insurance information as clearly as possible before treatment begins.
Dental treatment involving extractions, bone grafting, healing, and tooth replacement is often completed in stages over several months to achieve the best long-term outcome. There are aspects of your review that differ from our understanding of the events, but out of respect for your privacy, we are unable to address those details publicly.

Better than I could have imagined! As someone who freaks out about dentist visits and having work done, I actually look forward to working with them on the rest of my mouth. And that's my review. Had more crowns and another bridge done and they look and feel great. Im literally in the dentist chair waiting to get implants worked on, I'm very excited to see the finished work! She 1st checks on your health, asking questions, taking your BP, inspecting for any unusual signs in your mouth and throat. She is very skilled at cleaning my teeth. Negative experience: We switched Dentists just before Dr. Yamaguchi retired, because scheduling a cleaning had become too difficult. 3 YEARS LATER they just sent us a bill for a $125 late fee. I don't even know who the new Dentist is. This is literally the reason we left. This office only wants money now. Be careful, and be wise, and go to another Dentist.

Fantastic experience: Update. Had my cleaning with Kelly. She’s friendly and always smiling. Makes me comfortable and does an outstanding job cleaning my teeth 10/14/25 Love the new dentist as well. Fantastic experience: I am visiting briefly from California, cracked a molar a few days ago and had the great good fortune to find a listing online for urgent dental care at 19th Ave. I called, was scheduled the following day for an exam, had virtually no wait time in the office and could tell immediately from the relaxed and engaging atmosphere that this was a good place. After determining a course of action, I received treatment today that seems likely the best I’ve had in years (or ever). I’m a sensitive creature, particularly around any type of health care. It’s important for me to not only work with someone who has a high level of skill and finesse but also someone who truly embodies a healing spirit. These are rare qualities. I found both in Dr Kang. He did a beautiful job needing extended adjustment to my bite even as he knew he’d likely never see me again. He and his assistant (I’m sorry I did not catch her name) worked seamlessly together with high sensitivity to my comfort level. On my way out of the office while I was finding my land legs, a conversation ensued with Linda at the front desk, whose commitment to this work is clearly an act of compassion and dedication to easing concerns for patients with prior traumatic dental history. My only regret is not being able to call this office my own on a permanent basis.

Negative experience: If you like to go to the dentist 4 times per year for a cleaning this is the place. Recently moved to Everett. Made an appointment for a cleaning. Easily scheduled. Came in but in order to have a cleaning you have to have an exam first so the dentist can prescribe the correct cleaning procedure. After your exam you need to make another appointment for a cleaning. Very unusual.

Fantastic experience: Great dental office and very efficient. I showed up about 25 minutes early, and was greeted by Grace (Dental Assistant). Grace pulled back me back to the room and took X-ray of the tooth that hurt and got X-rays on the screen all ready for the doctor to come and see me. Grace has beautiful and friendly personality, liked her a lot. Fantastic experience: I thought my last dentist was pretty good, but Dr. Yamaguchi is amazing. He really seems to enjoy his profession and makes a commitment to employ all of the latest technology. I recently needed a crown and instead of waiting a week for it to be made at an offsite lab he was able to use his computer generated modeling equipment to craft my new crown in less than an hour. The end product was perfect. The front office staff, Kelli the hygienist, and everyone there are very friendly and efficient. My whole family now goes to see Dr. Yamaguchi and we have all been very happy with the services he and his staff provide.

Kellie has been cleaning up my teeth for decades and never got any issue with it. Used to be, Dr. Yamaguchi only said "Clean, Good teeth, keep it up, Maeda-san". again, the reason why I don't have any issue with it is just because of Kellie Lehtinen – Dental Hygienist!! She ROCK!!

Fantastic experience: I am a new patient at this facility and was very impressed they did not have huge wait times, and the staff is so friendly and informative. From the front desk, to the assistants, and the doctor - they are all personable, professional, and really take a great interest in their customers health, comfort, and safety. I was referred by my wife who suggested I'd be nuts to go elsewhere - and now I see why. I would highly recommend them for your dental needs. I am very appreciative of everyone I've encountered here.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Kang was very patient with my 92 year old mom who has a horrible gag reflex. Fixed my 96 year old dad as well. Kelley performed first appt scale and root plane on my mom and the appt went great! My mom didnt need to be anesthetized which attests to her skills and she was very good with a patient who has short term memory issues. We previously saw Dr. Yamaguchi and who was great! I feel like this practice transition is working very well. Last but not least, love the staff I have encountered.
