Fantastic experience: Dr. Shahin and his team provided an outstanding experience during my root canal procedure. I was honestly nervous going in, but they made me feel comfortable and well cared for from start to finish. The procedure was smooth. Best of all, I had absolutely no pain after the procedure. Dr. Shahin explained everything clearly and showed great attention to detail and patient comfort. I’m very grateful for the excellent care and would highly recommend this office to anyone needing endodontic treatment. 5 stars!

Fantastic experience: What a wonderful Experience at this office. Positive interaction starting with Sam, the receptionist who was super kind and helpful. And then the dental assistant Citlali who was kind and helped me feel relaxed. Dr. Chen, was absolutely amazing. From the minute, she walked in the room and introduced herself by first name, I felt so comfortable. She was so easy to talk to. She did a great job explaining everything that she was going to be doing. And she listened to my concerns. I highly recommend Dr. Chen and this dental office. I know that I personally will be coming back here if the time ever arises where I need to see an endodontic specialist. They even give you a hot wet towel to wipe your face in your hands with when you’re all done. And a goodie bag. How awesome is that?

Fantastic experience: If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. I was dealing with severe tooth pain—anytime I laid down, my tooth would throb and during the nights, immediately wake me up. It turned out the nerve in my tooth was dying (something I didn’t even know was possible), and the solution was a root canal. Dr. Chai’s office was able to see me within the next few days, and from the moment I walked in, everyone was kind, professional, and made me feel safe and in control. Dr. Chai is incredibly skilled—she did an amazing job precisely localizing the anesthetic so only the necessary area was numbed, and she checked in with me throughout the entire procedure. She even gave me her cell phone number in case of emergencies, which truly shows how much she cares. You can tell this office genuinely values their patients and takes pride in the work they do. Fantastic experience: Absolutely recommend. Sam at the front desk was exactly the calm, kind presence I needed when dealing with the prospect of a root canal. She was so nice on the phone, and honestly made my day better just by how she showed up. Dr. Chen was also calm, kind, and clear. She reassured me throughout the procedure that things were going well, that what I was experiencing was normal, and that it was good I was getting it addressed. When I had questions later that week, she returned my call right away and gave me reassurance yet again. As much as I hope never to need their services again, I would absolutely return to and recommend Lakeside Endodontics.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Etemadi is fantastic at his job. I’ve been a patient of his for 20 years and I tell people I would rather go get a root canal than get my teeth cleaned because he makes root canals virtually pain-free. His office is inviting and relaxed. And I have extra peace of mind because of his advanced training, knowledge, and the advanced medical equipment he uses. I’ve had over five decades of dental experiences, but nothing comes close to Dr. Etemadi‘s office. I mean, who looks forward to going to get a root canal? It’s relaxing and you come close to falling asleep during the procedure and you probably would if he didn’t gently keep asking you how you were doing and if you’re comfortable. And I also wanted to mention that I have never had a doctor’s office hand me a gift bag and the doctor’s personal cell phone number (telling me to call if I had any problems) as I was leaving the office. This is first class personal attention that Dr. Etemadi provides to every one of his patients.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Etemadi is very professional and friendly too. I was nervous to have a root canal, however I didn't feel a thing. Seriously! He has state of the art office and equipment. I highly recommend having your next root canal from him. Also, they only specialize in root canals. The receptionist, Sam...she is also very friendly and assisted in getting me in on short notice and followed through completely. Very compassionate and explains costs, etc. Even calls your insurance company to confirm what they will cover. I am so happy I went to them. :)

Fantastic experience: I needed a root canal as I have been suffering for a year with a tooth (#2 rear upper) that would not allow me to chew or drink on that side. I was badly in need of getting it fixed. My regular dentist recommended Dr Etemadi to do this procedure. I was anxious and concerned about having it done, as it caused me daily pain. The staff at Lakeside Endodontics made me at ease immediately. I am not an anxious person, but a root canal is a root canal, anyway you slice it. I have been going to dentists for 60 plus years so I have seen my share of them. Dr Etemadi is on a different level when it comes to bedside manner and caring for his patient. I have never felt so comfortable having someone uncomfortable done EVER. He is truly at the top of his profession, and anyone will feel comfortable when he is caring for you no matter what. I have very very deep roots, so he had to really go after the nerve and got all of it. I was feeling good immediately after the procedure and I can now chew and swallow on my right side of my mouth for the first time in a year! Yea! My sincere thanks goes out to Dr Etemadi and his superb staff! Thank you Thank you.

Fantastic experience: This was absolutely the best dental experience that I've ever had. The entire staff was welcoming, professional, and so kind. The setting was so relaxed and comfy, dim lighting and great music, the Doctor and Assistant were sooooo amazing, kind, and caring. They explained everything in detail, answered all of my questions. I had a root canal procedure (my very first) and I guess it was a deep one. They made sure I was okay and not in any pain and even gave me a very comfy blanket lol Throughout the whole procedure I was being asked if I was okay and even told what a good job I was doing! So many good and positive caring vibes here, even the front office staff was super nice and patient with me! I'm recommending this place to all my family, friends, co-workers and ANYONE that has anxiety about going to the dentist and getting shots/drilling. 100 out of 5 stars!! (I know it sounds wild but I never imagined I could be comfy at the dentist office).

Fantastic experience: Had there been 10 stars I would have rated that. The warmth and care of Lakeside was off the charts, and I would not hesitate to send my family there at all. I have had a number of root canal procedures, but never is 45 minutes, and the efficiency of it all was definitely a SMH moment, bar none. In addition to the procedure, I must say that the treatment of not only me as "Joe patient", but the entire staff from front office to during the procedure itself was a picture of "belonging" care for all. As I asked the assistant once Dr. Chen left the room - "Does she always use that many "please and thank yous" during a procedure and the answer was "that's normal". It is that type of culture and environment that needs to exist across the service-oriented world we live in. Simply stated, the pleasure was all mine, and I was the patient. Fantastic experience: I could not say anything good enough that would compare to the care that I received from Dr. Etemadi and his staff. From the beginning they were very professional and efficient at both setting up my appointment and getting me in for my procedure. They even told me, based on what they were given, what my cost would be well before I even got to the office. If you have had a root canal, you know that you have flashbacks when you go in for another one. Well, it had been years for me but that was what I needed. I stepped in the office, and they checked me in immediately and offered me any juice or water to start since I had gotten there early. Once it was my time I was taken back to my initial x-ray and then on to my seat. The doctor came in promptly and introduced himself and let me know that this was not going to be a painful event and that if anywhere along the way I felt anything that he would stop and do what was needed to get me to a comfortable state. That was not necessary. He listened to my concerns around pain and my past experiences and numbed my mouth accordingly. He then proceeded and talked through the entire procedure, where needed, to both check in on me but to also tell me the next steps. That was very comforting and when we got close to the end, he told me how much longer and checked in on me again. No stone was left unturned, and his staff were just as amazing. From check-in to check-out. All smooth and clear.

Fantastic experience: "I am not a child. I am a mature woman. I am not afraid of a little root canal," I told myself. I'm usually calm with low blood pressure and athletic pulse. And yet walking in the door of Lakeside Endodontics I felt my heart rate shoot up. I began to relax a little when I was greeted by the gentle staff and tranquil surroundings of the beautiful office. Fantastic experience: It was on a Monday that I was told I would need a root canal, I truly felt like I was going to sick! I was incredibly nervous and scared by potential pain (as I've never nor ever thought I'd ever need a root canal in my lifetime!) By that afternoon, my research brought me to Lakeside Endodontics - quite a bit of drive away from my home. How they self-described their "exceptional clinical results...compassionate care," and the testimonials were outstanding. I had such a good feeling about their skillset and gift from their biographies. By Wednesday (yes just two days later) I found myself walking in the front door for an exam and root canal with Dr. Etemadi at yes, 7 a.m.!. The professional warmth, kindness from Sam at the front desk to Dr. Etemadi and his incredible dental assistant made me instantly comfortable. I'm quite a nervous client when it comes to the dentist and when I tell you, I felt NOTHING!! In fact, I listened to Al Green the whole time on the sound proof headphones they supplied. Dr. Etemadi's presence will make you feel like his only patient of the day. While receiving the numbing medicine, his assistant kindly placed her hand on my shoulder, I felt supported the entire time. I was intending on getting nitrous to alleviate the nerves, but didn't even need it by how patient, thorough and kind his entire team was from the moment I stepped in the office. Dr. Etemadi encouraged me through the whole experience, I felt completely safe. The moment it was finished, the first thing I said to Dr. Etemadi after the copious amounts of thanks and gratitude was, "The only thing I'm disappointed by is the fact you can't be my general dentist too!" He and his team are incredibly gifted and skilled at what they do. I'll trust them with my teeth and health forever. I am so proud to join the echo of phenomenal reviews and hope you have the great fortune of receiving care from Dr. Etemadi. It's not like I wish for you to ever need a root canal (or any other Endodontics procedure) but if you do, consider yourself lucky to experience the incredible compassion and care Lakeside Endodontics! Fantastic experience: There’s a reason this practice maintains a 5 star rating. They are top notch. This doesn’t come lightly as I have severe dental trauma and fear. Dr Etemadi is outstanding. I made an appointment for a consultation of a “not textbook” root canal, he was so patient and kind during the consult. Never felt rushed and he was so caring. Fast forward to procedure day, it went well. We weren’t sure if it would be successful due to the complications, but he worked his magic and success!! They partner with Elite Anesthesia for IV sedation (separate review), but having this as an option for high fear patients makes a huge contribution. Also, Trish & Leanna at the front desk were stellar. Trish was my first initial impression of this office and listened with compassion. (Which if you have had past trauma or bad experiences, you know the importance of the first person connection being so crucial) The staff and Dr Etemadi lead with skill and compassion. I would recommend this practice to anyone.

Fantastic experience: I am extremely anxious and nervous when it comes to dentists. Dr Etemadi and his staff gave me the best experience that I ever had! He is extremely gentle and knowledgeable. Fantastic experience: My husband and I have been going to Dr. Etemadi for years and I just had my third root canal done by him yesterday. If every dental doctor was as kind and gentle as he is, no one would ever fear sitting in a dental chair ever again! No pain during the procedure and minimal afterwards. I felt very welcomed by Trish upon entering the office and by Dr. Etemadi when he came into the exam room. Fantastic experience: I had my first root canal finished at Lakeside this week. I have terrible dental anxiety. I had to have an emergency dental appointment for a root canal, and they fit me in. I was so nervous coming in for treatment, but Dr. Etemadi was so kind, listened to me at every step, and did everything to make sure I was comfortable. The root canal procedure was much less scary than I imagined, and Dr. Etemadi proactively promoted me to make sure I was pain-free the entire visit. We had to break up my appointment into two visits due to my root being so inflamed, and Dr. Etemadi even took my messages after hours on the weekend to help me manage my nerve pain. I came back for the second appointment yesterday, and once again an incredible experience. I felt safe and supported the entire time. They provided me with low lights overhead during the procedure, warm cozy blankets, nitrous oxide, and a warm towel at end along with a little to go bag with care instructions, pain reliever, and even a chocolate. I can’t thank everyone in the office for helping me through the pain and going above and beyond to make me comfortable and cared for. 5 stars ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️

Fantastic experience: A big thanks to Doctor Etamadi and team for the excellent work and timely appointment. After setting up an appointment for the following week, my tooth became extremely painful and I needed to have the root canal done right away. I called on a Friday morning and they were able to get me in that afternoon. The procedure was nearly painless and I had instant relief. I would highly recommend this Team.

Fantastic experience: Outstanding care!!!! Dr. Chen and her staff are amazing. 5 star treatment the entire time. It's never fun going in for a root canal but Dr. Chen and her entire staff were very personable, friendly and there to make the procedure smooth and pain free. I was never in any discomfort the entire time and so glad that I went and had it done. I strongly recommend Dr. Chen and her team. Hopefully I won't need another root canal for some time , if ever, but I will be going straight back to Dr. Chen if I do!!!

Fantastic experience: I was skeptical of the straight 5 star reviews, but they are well earned! Everybody was incredibly nice and my Dentist cared about my comfort from start to finish. Blanket, gas, and music made it go smoothly on my end. 5 stars and while I hope to not have another root canal; knowing they are here puts me at ease.

Fantastic experience: Words cannot properly define the level of care and expertise at Lakeside Endodontics. Dr. Etemadi is phenomenal! I absolutely hate going to the dentist and the idea of a root canal is daunting to say the least and I have had three! Two were handled by Dr. Etemadi and I would refuse to go anywhere else again. At Lakeside they make it feel like it’s a day at the spa with their calming music, dimmed lights, lavender hot towels, and warm blankets. However, the real treat is Dr. Etemadi’s skill and level of care. He made me feel so relaxed. After my in office treatment I was given his cell phone to call with any concerns and the staff also called to follow up more than once after each procedure to check in. I am telling you, this is the level of care you want. Thank you Dr. Etemadi!

Fantastic experience: Dr Etemadi is one of the most caring individuals I have ever met. His staff is also so kind and got me in for an emergency root canal prior to my vacation. During the procedure I was nervous and he went above and beyond to calm my nerves. They dimmed the lights and offered me a warm blanket. I was given Dr Etemadi’s cell phone number and I text him a concern. He replied within a few minutes and called in an antibiotic and suggested I ice my cheek. This did the trick and I now feel comfortable leaving the county. Unfortunately my husband made a mistake when he chose our dental coverage so the procedure was not covered but I did not mind paying out of pocket because of the positive experience.

Fantastic experience: I had a fantastic experience today at Dr. Shahin Etemadi’s office. I have a new crown and when I eat/drink something warm my tooth gets a little sensitive. My dentist asked me to go see Dr. Shahin Etemadi to evaluate me. He did some tests, took a panoramic and X-ray and assured me everything is fine. What a pleasant and lovely Doc. Extremely knowledgeable as well. The ladies in the office are super friendly and welcome too. I came home feeling extremely supportive and happy. Luckily a root canal won’t be necessary but he said if I feel anything out of normal to contact him anytime. Doc, you are awesome! My best to you and your family! Cheers!

Fantastic experience: Lakeside and Dr. Chen are very professional and i really enjoyed the in depth explanation of the work being performed. Not only were they very accommodating but the hot towel for my face at the end of the procedure was a nice treat. Highly recommend Lakeside Endodontics.

Fantastic experience: NEVER BE AFRAID OF A ROOT CANAL. I saw Dr. Chen for a root canal and never felt A THING. Not even the 3 days after where I was told I could be sore. I took the ibuprofen and was good as gold. Matter of fact, they took away my pain. I had a dying nerve. The work Dr. Chen and her assistant did was actually super impressive. There's a lot of steps to a root canal. I don't know what they are but they were in an out of my mouth with tool after tool for an hour. Each step with each tool was swift and effective. These people have probably done root canals by the thousands, and I could tell. My own dentist told me if he needed a root canal, this is the place he would go to and man, was he right! I left impressed. Their workplace is small and cozy. The staff was friendly. The little bit of socializing I got to do with Dr Chen was pleasant. I believe she's an amazing person. She genuinely cared about my comfort but i think she just actually strives to be the best in her field and reaches for perfection. I don't see how anyone could possibly be better. If she's not the best, I don't see where in the process another Endodontist could improve the procedure. Her and her assistant were swift, effective, precise and pleasant. Need a root canal? Seriously, go to Lakeside Endodontics. You will be in and out with zero pain. Problem solved. Move on. Oh, and btw, they got me in quickly. The day I needed it. I was hurtin'. Fantastic experience: Sam at the front desk is so helpful and kind. Dr. See is incredibly skilled and gentle. I am 100% a big wuss when it comes to dental work and pain. While I was in for an emergency root canal, it was the easiest one I've ever gone through. No root canal is going to be fun but Dr. See was incredibly kind, careful, and made sure to check in on me periodically throughout the procedure. They even brought over a clean warm washcloth to freshen up(I was stress-sweaty), and sent me home with a thoughtful post-procedure care package. I wish all dental/endodontic offices were like this one. 11/10 do recommend. They will take good care of you and your needs.

Fantastic experience: I was extremely pleased with the level of care I received at Lakeside Endodontist. The staff were very competent, knowledgeable & professional. They made sure I was very comfortable before my procedure. Dr. Etemadi was very kind, compassionate & made sure I understood what was going to be done & why. He explained what was happening all the way through the procedure. At the end I was brought a soft warm towel to freshen up with. Of all the dental procedures I have undergone this was a first & very much appreciated! Fantastic experience: I went in for a root canal today and it started with nerves and anxiety and the staff was so amazing and explained everything and the shot to do the novacane was almost painless. Any other novacane shot was hurtful in the past with other Drs. This is a fast, efficient and kind place to put your surgical procedure for your mouth into their hands. Fantastic experience: The staff are always kind and friendly. Doctor Etemadi is caring, kind, gentle and truly invested in his patients. He has squeezed me in for emergency visits, he takes time to truly evaluate the circumstances and does not recommend unnecessary treatment. I'm a very nervous patient and he puts my mind at ease and they also offer nitrous. The front desk staff always go above and beyond.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Shahin Etemadi is really very good. I had some issues with my old root canal and he gave me 2 options, one was extraction and another was again root canal and I went with another root canal. He restored my tooth that was next to impossible. He completed all the treatments in 2 sittings. Dr. Is so calm and he did everything in very well manner. I’m so much satisfied and I felt that he is best in Root Canals. Staff is so good and they are very good at appointments as well. My overall experience was awesome. Thank you so much Dr. Shahin.

Fantastic experience: The staff were really nice. The Doctor was extremely transparent about the things I may experience during the procedure and did insist to let them know if I experienced even the slightest bit of pain. Overall the best dental experience I have ever had, although this was a wake up call to correct my bad habits to avoid such visits in the future. If you are in need of the procedures they offer here and are reluctant to get dental work done, I highly recommend placing your trust here, you won't be disappointed.

Fantastic experience: Although I would not choose a root canal, I was really pleased with how caring and professional everyone at Lakeside Endodontics was. After a really bad previous dental experience that involved a lot of pain and c-diff from antibiotics that took 7 months to recover from, I am really fearful about having dental work done. Dr. Chen and all the team at Lakeside were really kind and caring. They waited and checked to make sure the anesthetic was working before proceeding, as I sometimes take awhile to go numb, and they kept the experience virtually pain free. This is my second experience with them. If you need endodontics work done, I would highly recommend them.

Fantastic experience: Have unfortunately had to have two root canals this year. They were able to get me in quickly (both times being ones that weren't planned for at all... one time the dentist I use was just going to put in a crown and realized I needed a root canal when she was drilling). Experience was good (well as root canals go ;) ) and they were very attentive to try to make sure it was as painless as possible. Highly recommend if you need a root canal.

Fantastic experience: I never expected I'd be writing a positive review of anything related to teeth in my life. I went to my dentist earlier today due to pain in my jaw, they checked me and referred me to Dr. Etemadi. I called their office and they were able to squeeze me in as an urgent appointment. Few hours later, I get a call that I can go earlier if I can, so I did. The office is extremely clean and does not smell like anything medical, which is amazing. I got checked in, there was always someone with me and talking to me in the most polite way. After being setup, 3D scans, and x-rays Dr. Etemadi came in. Extremely humble and positive, super friendly and puts you at ease. He gave me my options and he recommended yo save the tooth with a root canal. He asked if I'd like to do it on the spot, so that I don't do the temporary solution. That ended up saving me so much money, was treated urgently as a non-urgent patient and got my root canals done without feeling a thing. He was so attentive to details, I mentioned that I have issues breathing from my nose, so he kept checking on me and asking his assistant to adjust. I seriously can't say enough about how positive of an experience this has been.

Fantastic experience: My entire experience at Lakeside Endodontics has been outstanding by far! From the office environment, to the staff, to the Endodontists! The office is probably the most cleanest, most comfortable office I’ve ever been to. The staff (including the receptionists, dental assistances..) have been so kind and hospitable. They go as far as remembering my name. I was given a blanket when I’m cold during both appointments (they receive a point for consistency). They ensure that every second I’m there, I am noticed and considered! You were always greeted with a smile. I’ve had the pleasure of working with Dr. Chen and Dr. Etemadi. When I consulted with Dr. Chen, she was very professional, welcoming, and informative. She gave me professional opinions, yet gave me the option to choose my treatment to ensure I was given the choice. Dr. Chen took the time to answer all of my questions, as well as explain any questions I may not have known to ask. I would definitely see her again! Dr. Etemadi was the provider that performed my RCT. He was very kind, professional, and knowledgeable! I appreciate all of his mannerisms, as they are very proper and gentle. He ensured I was comfortable the entire procedure. He would regularly check on my status, ask if I was in any pain, and provided periodic updates throughout the procedure. I’ve had a handful of dental work done in the past and Dr. Etemadi is the best at injecting numbing solution by far. Often, providers will say “it’s just a pinch” yet it would hurt badly, however Dr. Etemadi has it down to the point where you will hardly feel it! What stands him apart from all other providers is his empathy and compassion. I cannot explain how nervous I was during the procedure, yet he was constantly acknowledging my emotions. I truly appreciate the validation at the time!! Dr. Etemadi understands his work very well, however the patient may not have that knowledge. He genuinely took the time to explain the procedure in detail, gave his professional opinion, and provided opportunities for me to ask questions. These are traits and work ethics that we all expect from providers, however they are not as common as people may think. So again, I truly appreciate all of his work (from the consultation, to the explanation, to the procedure, to the aftercare)!! Coming from a healthcare background, myself, I 100% respect and trust these individuals. I will most certainly return to them again. They are an amazing team and have performed outstanding work on my teeth. Thank you very much and will see you again in the future!!

Fantastic experience: My boyfriend was having extreme nerve pain. We have been together eight years and I had seen him take ibuprofen once. And since this tooth issue I watched him take ibuprofen three times a day every day for a week. Our dentist referred him out to their Arlington office but since they didn't have room, they referred us to Everett and got us in same day for an emergency appt. They were kind, helpful, communicative, and friendly. He said that he felt like a VIP (his words) he walked in, they offered him juice and were super comforting. He got a warm blanket and they were very aware of his pain, comfort (or lack thereof) and did everything they could to not only fix the issue, but to do it in a way where he experienced as little pain as possible. He wanted to make sure we left a five star review because he had such a great experience.
