Fantastic experience: I recently had a crown done at Penny Creek and the personnel were so informative and gentle that I decided to do my regular dental care there as well. Yesterday I had my first cleaning and was once again impressed with the cheerfulness of the dentist and the hygienists. The young lady who cleaned my teeth worked quickly but with a light touch. I'm glad that I will be doing my dental care with this group of wonderful professionals.

I had been a patient at the former practice for 25 years and they were unable to accommodate a sudden and emergent change in my schedule to accommodate me. Had an amazing first dental appointment there. The staff from the front desk to the hygienist and the dentist are friendly, welcoming and professional. They went out of their way to make me comfortable. The exam was thorough from xrays to cleaning and exam from the Dentist. Just wonderful people. Fantastic experience: Going through the single implant procedure with Dr. Slocum and his team. Through the initial consultation and pre-op, they were wonderful. They were the first dental practice that asked me what schedule options that worked best for me. The staff has been really great to work with at each step. The reason I landed at Penny Creek after consulting with other Dentist was Dr. Slocum. If you do your homework, it wont take long to see some accolades that do not cover many Dr.'s in our area. Accompanied with the technology they use, they are absolutely dialed in. We just did the extraction part of the process and I elected for the minimal pain management for the procedure. Honestly it was the least amount of pain I have ever felt during a dental procedure. Dr. Slocum is gifted. If your deciding where to go to have your dental work, this is the place. Will continue the updates as my procedure continues on. So glad I landed here!

They took the time to explain everything they were doing and what I needed, which helped ease a lot of my anxiety. I never felt rushed or judged…just genuinely cared for. My hygienist, Krissy, was especially kind and gentle, which made a huge difference in helping me relax. Dr. Sarah was also incredibly caring and she truly wants her patients to feel comfortable and understood. Overall, you can tell they really prioritize their patients’ comfort and overall experience. It made such a difference having everything clearly walked through and feeling like I was in good hands the whole time. Negative experience: ZERO STARS!!! MARCI at the front desk is extremely rude and displays clear microaggressions. I have been coming to this office since I was in middle school, but I will never return because of my experience with her. I called to make an appointment regarding a filling they did, which was a terrible job and has left me in pain a year later. Instead of helping, I was met with attitude and no concern. I wish I had known better back then. I strongly recommend avoiding this place if you can. You may end up in pain years later, and when you reach out for help, they will not support you or take responsibility. Be careful.

Fantastic experience: I was very unhappy with my teeth and my gums were in very bad shape due lack of dental care most of my life. I was very concerned about my health and the effects that gum disease can cause. Dr Slocum had told me about dental implants. I will say that they are not cheap but the cost of adding years to my life is priceless. I used to never smile or really laugh and if I did I would hide my teeth with my lips. The whole dental implant process took about 2 years as I couldn't do the upper and lower at the same time and glad I didn't. My life has dramatically changed in ways I never imagined. My bad breath is gone and I am very confident in smiling and openly laugh showing my new teeth. I get compliments all the time!. Dr. Slocum was there every step of the way. He made sure I was always comfortable and happy with every decision. Penny creek is more like family to me now. But Dr.Slocum is very meticulous and made sure the color of my new teeth was right as well as my bite and how they sit in my mouth. I couldn't ask for a better experience or dentist. Fantastic experience: The easiest oral surgery ever. Preparing me for the procedure was organized and included thoughtful things to make me comfortable. The doctor is highly skilled while also gentle enough to avoid any unnecessary trauma. Although surprisingly I had little to no pain post surgery I was sent home with a complete care kit, just in case. They understood my anxiety and fear and have treated me so well every step along the way. I've never had a dentist so kind and understanding. They're not only concerned with my dental health and Care but also my overall health. They've taken the time to get to know my whole situation including discussions with my husband and daughter. They have made adjustments to my treatment plan very quickly when needed. They communicate very well about treatment and financial options. I started the process of getting immediate dentures in August however circumstances along the way made us have to pivot to traditional dentures. Was blessed with a beautiful smile just in time for Christmas. Dr Slocum is extremely concerned about the comfort of his patients and extremely detailed and thorough. The accolades he has received prove how serious this man is about his craft. Seriously the best and most caring people in this office. I won't recommend anybody else for dental care.
