Everyone in the clinic is professional and efficient. Thank you, Dat Dental! It is always nice to be under the care of Mina. She does her work professionally and precisely. She takes into consideration my condition - prolonged side effects of head and neck radiation therapy - everytime I go for dental appointments. She also has recommendations on how to care for my teeth and gums which has been helping me with my condition. Thanks, Mina!

Fantastic experience: I have been going to Dat Dental for years. Always treated well. Have had crowns put in, general fillings, annual cleaning, etc.

Negative experience: My doctor sent me here for extraction. The extraction itself was bad (there was a piece left inside), anyhow. This review is to highlight the gross negligence on the part of this facility in updating bills to the patients. I received a bill after two years with a threat to proceed to collections after hearing nothing for a whole year. Since it is the same Doctor Who referred me, I called my original dentist to make sure I have nothing outstanding in both the Hospital branches and I heard there was not. On calling this hospitals, I was told that it is “my problem” and my headache to call both the places separately. After inquiring if they had ever sent me a bill from the time of the procedure to two years later, they mentioned they have sent several paper bills as well as messages, but I have not received any such billing mails or messages. The messages I did receive were, a week after the date of procedure and the one 2 years later. I would advise anyone to reconsider if they are referred to this facility as the bills may show up years later without any due process follow up.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been coming here for the last couple of years and have always had positive experiences—from the front desk to the hygienists and the dentist. The entire team is professional, attentive, and genuinely cares about their patients. They take the time to listen to any concerns or requests and make sure you feel comfortable throughout your visit.

Negative experience: Nice staff for the most part but there is an overwhelming push to just max out my insurance. I do not feel any recommendations are in the nature of care but rather sales and I’m just the sucker who’ll say yes. I’ve switched dentists and all of sudden I don’t have a new issue every time I come in. There’s a difference between preventative care and abuse your role as a dentist to pressure the uneducated into dental work they don’t. My wisdom teeth grew in fine no pain and had been in my mouth for 20 years but the second I see Dat they’re a problem, they’ve removed them and that left gaping wholes which make it hard to eat still 3 years later. If you want to feel like a money bag every time you see a dentist I can recommend dat but if you would rather be treated with care and compassion with a focus on your actual dental health I would strongly recommend exploring other dentists.

Negative experience: I am very disappointed to have come here because they have no conscience. My porcelain crowns are loose, food is getting stuck and causing pain, and I want to have them removed. They told me that removing them would cost 3,000,000 VND for two new crowns. I told them to remove them first because I'm in pain and don't have time; I have to go to work and don't have the money to do it now. Then they said removing them would cost 160,000 VND, which I agreed to. But later they refused to remove them and insisted I pay for new crowns before they would do it. They lost their ethics for money, while I was in pain.

Fantastic experience: They are the most professional, compassionate, caring and to the point Dental office I have been to in years Dr Dat is my Dentist. I had to bring my 91 year-old mother here to have two teeth extracted. She is very frail and very scared of going to the dentist. Her first visit with Dr. Dat was amazing. Dr Dat let her know exactly what was going on every step of the way. He explained what he was going to be doing on her next visit so she could be prepared. His assistants were also very gentle with my mom while doing her x-rays. Dr Dat made her feel not like she was just a patient but part of the family. He has a good sense of humor and made her laugh joking around with her a little bit which really lightened up the mood for her. They called themselves and spoke to my mom's heart doctor to make sure she could be off of her blood thinners, and the safer Alternatives for her, which was the nitrous oxide. The day of having her extractions went so smooth. He went and got them right out and sewn up within minutes. Thank you for making this probably one of the best experiences she's had ever going to the dentist and for treating her with Grace and dignity. She is doing well now.

Negative experience: The clinic was able to put me into a spot a week after I called. When I arrived, the office was clean and nice and the dental assistant worked efficiently so the Dr had enough time to get to work on my fillings. The reason for the 2 stars was because I was miscommunicated multiple items that results in costs more than double the original estimate. I was told that I would have fillings done on two teeth and that there would be two other teeth would have sealants done at a different time. I was very surprised when I saw that the OOP costs were double what the quote was because they did work on 4 teeth and did not notify this to me. When I received the quote for the sealants, instead of sealants I was quoted for fillings which are much more costly. Again, maybe there were a few miscommunications since the initial appointment was rushed, but I lost trust in the quotes and treatment plan they communicated to me. They were also more than 2x costly than my previous dentist for not much added benefit. If you do plan to go, be sure to get the quote of the work being done prior to them billing you just in case.

Fantastic experience: Dat dental took me in as a walk-in patient, unannounced and gave me an immediately required root canal, I was in terrible pain and my dentist at the time could not accommodate me. Since, my wife and I have both moved to this practice and have adopted Dr Elsie and her team as our own, they are remarkably competent and skilled, further Bethany is by far the best font end talent you could find! She keeps me on track, informed and pointed in the right direction, that’s an accomplishment! An update to this review: Dr Elsie’s schedule and mine are often difficult to align, however we have discovered Dr Carroll!! Absolutely a great and gifted Dentist! Also gotta throw sunshine on my hygienist, Scarlet. It is a pleasure to be in her talented and gentle care! Exceptional! I don’t do well with dentistry, my phobia I guess, but these 2 professionals take all the stress out of these trips.

Fantastic experience: You have to try it out to believe it true. Dat dental in Lynnwood is a friendly atmosphere, the moment you are step in the door. From receptionists to staffs and doctors, they make you feeling like you are not at your dentists appt. Crew are working hard by staying late to finish up the jobs to cut back your visit appt. Not only that, parking are available. Most importantly is about honesty.

Fantastic experience: I have been going to Dat Dental for many years, and they are thorough, kind, and flexible. They work well with dental anxiety (including my very smart but very anxious son on the autism spectrum), and use everything from taking their time calmly to nitrous oxide if requested to sedative medications as needed. They are extremely competent with cleanings, fillings, and other procedures. I have not had anything beyond a filling, but other members of my family have had root canals, crowns, implants, etc. Everyone from office staff to the very best hygienist I've ever had, to the very competent dentists. They will do whatever cosmetic work you request and won't judge if you refuse. They don't scold or lecture, just suggest things to try and adjust cleaning frequency and intensity to the individual. And they celebrate with you-- at my latest appointment they said my teeth and gums are the best they've been in 20 years. I got a new 3 minute Sonicare with gum massage for the last minute, and dedicated myself to using that and flossing 2 or more times a day.

Being in my late 20's and having some unique things to be dealt with for my ortho care, I've gone to the dentist more than some people throughout my life. Scarlett did a phenomenal, thorough job cleaning my teeth and pesky braces and explaining in excellent detail each step of the process (Which I greatly appreciate as my oral health is really important to me and I think it's neat learning more every time I get my teeth checked). Dr. Dat is amazing too, he explained everything about my oral health in simple terms for me to understand and he's a very caring, competent, and kind doctor. Negative experience: The dentist is good, the hygienist is good but the scheduler is awful. She’s the worst I’ve ever had. She texted me a specific date, I went and when I was there, she can’t find My name on the schedule ended up going home frustrated. While talking to her she told me too that I have some more coming schedules that I don’t even know. I told her then that why did she scheduled me those days that I don’t even know? It’s awful!!! I will not going back to this datdental again for nothing.

Going in I figured he would be like every other dental hygienist and have me in and out while racking up the bill though after my first visit I noticed it was a different scenario. Negative experience: We were referred by our previous provider since his practice was closing down, sadly. We were happy because anybody referred by him would be trustable and good. When we arrived it seemed such a change since this practice was top notch compared with the previous one we came from. The dental assistant received me and did initial checks on my gum line and did cleaning. She was nice, but it seemed off since the numbers she called out on my gum depth were really off. My previous check I had was much better and that was my initial red flag. Then Dr. Dat came in and didn't even introduce himself properly even though I came referred in for the first time. He then grabbed my jaw and scoped into my teeth. He quickly started mentioning all the wrong things I have in my mouth. (Important thing to know is the previous dentist has really taken care of my teeth and everything was going nice) He mentioned how it's a "must" I should immediately have a surgery done to fix one gap I had for ages. And I didn't need to honestly. And that my rear teeth "have" to be removed. Also he mentioned my back molars are starting to recess from their top and I have to have them ground and refilled.... All of the things I absolutely don't need, and his convenient way of ripping as much money off as possible. Then after all the bad and very few optimistic news, he got up didn't say much and he left. Then the assistant just kept emphasizing on using up my insurance before it's gone at the end of year.( which most dental places do, but here it seems more desperate) She guided me off to the front desk to have me scheduled for the next visit and she kept telling the receptionist to schedule that recess procedure which I haven't even agreed to. She was very hectic and busy and didn't even give us time to talk to her properly and catch our breath in all the chaos that happened. It really felt that we were being rushed and persuaded to make quick decisions that would cost us a lot of money UNNECESARILY. It seems that their ultimate priority is of how much money they can make off of you! Oh and I forgot, I had an implant procedure already in the works at a different clinic, and they kept pushing to get it scheduled and after telling them I already have it scheduled they asked me again later. Me and my wife just thought about the whole experience and decided to cancel our next appointment with them. The front desk ladies were nice though! BOTTOMLINE, LOOK FOR A DIFFERENT CLINIC IF YOU VALUE BEING TREATED FAIR AND NOT LIKE A CASH COW!

Unfortunately I chipped my tooth because of a cavity cause me to schedule and emergency visit. Negative experience: My fiancé got his wisdom teeth removed by Dr. Dat and it couldn’t have been a more painful, and frustrating experience. I sat in the room watching Dat pull one wisdom tooth out easy, when it got to the other side, he was terribly aggressive and the noises of popping and pulling were horrible. “Wow this one is giving me trouble, I should charge you more”, said Dat as proceeded to make my fiancé feel like it was his fault for having a wisdom tooth that wasn’t as easy as the other. Not once did he ask my fiancé if he was okay during the removal. Obviously the extraction of wisdom teeth is already painful enough but once the numbness wore off, my fiancé was in excruciating pain due to how belligerently rough Dat was with his mouth. After the procedure was finished we were given a sheet of paper with instructions for after care but we were not given a syringe, nor were we told to wash it out regularly, as well as not being provided with antibiotics!!! My fiancé was swollen like a chipmunk for 4 weeks, well after the procedure was finished. Once we realized we needed a syringe and antibiotics, we called the dentistry asking them to call in meds to our local drug store, they said they would get right on it - 3/4 hours later we went to the store to pick up the antibiotics, only to find out they had never been called in. Mind you, at this point his tooth is infected and he is in constant pain. Calling the dentist once more to demand meds be called in, I was told my fiancé was not a patient with them!!! Gaslighting me for about 15 minutes until they found him in the system, they called in the antibodies. (He has been going to this dentist for over 12 years). After going through the first dose of meds, the infection still grew and we were forced to pick up another dose of antibiotics. It has now been 2 months since being removed and my fiancé is still in pain. Like said before, the worst experience and would not recommend to anyone! My fiancé will now be coming to my dentist whom I love and trust. If I could give 0 stars I would.

Fantastic experience: The staff is friendly, efficient, and good at what they do. Dr. Dat is gentle, quick, friendly and he's a great dentist. Convenient location for me, and plenty of parking.

Negative experience: Highly unprofessional reception staff, very unhelpful and lazy when talking to customers. Other workers at Dat Dental are good, but the new receptionists are not very good at their job.
