Fantastic experience: EXCEPTIONAL INDEED!!! As a first time patient of oral surgery, I had no idea what to expect facing a molar extraction and my anxiety was sky-high! The entire staff was so pleasant and understanding and helped to calm my nerves every step of the way. Dr. Sajal Swaroop took the time to walk me through the entire extraction procedure from sedation to the bone graft and upcoming steps of an implant. He answered all my questions and promised me it would be over before I knew it. I am grateful for such an amazing surgical team. Thank you Dr. Swaroop for keeping your promise!

Fantastic experience: Since this was the first time that I was to experience a tooth extraction, I was very apprehensive and somewhat anxious. The staff was very professional and clearly explained what to expect both before and after the procedure. The extraction under sedation went very well, and I was able to engage in my usual Friday whist card game within an one and one-half hours of the visit pain-free and without complications. Awesome!

He numbed the area very well and had no pain when he installed 2 implements on the top left of my mouth. Additionally, Dr Swaroop called to check on that evening. I had no pain that evening or night. The staff is highly professional yet friendly, from the receptionists to the medical team—and most importantly, the surgeon—making the experience as pleasant as possible given the circumstances. My surgeon has been Dr. Hamid Esbah, and I have found him extremely competent. I particularly appreciate that he takes the time to clearly explain the overall process and each step of the procedure. During the operation, he regularly checks on me to ensure I am comfortable and that everything is going well. The coordination and interaction with and within the medical staff have been consistently professional and courteous. Overall, I feel I am in very good hands and have great trust in how everything is handled. Let’s face it—you never go to an oral surgeon for fun, but if you have to, I can wholeheartedly recommend Merrimack Valley Oral Surgeons.

Fantastic experience: Everything at MVOS was great. The front desk explained how the steps of my visit would go. The surgeon assistants made the experience as comfortable as it could be, answered questions, and described the procedure itself to me prior to the surgeon coming in. It was a challenge with my extraction as this rear tooth was compromised with a vertical crack down thru the root and above the gum line parts of the tooth had broken into pieces at home the day before. Got right in on an emergency visit. It did take a while with the surgery itself and bone grafting that was also done. The time needed was expected with all the work that was required and I was made aware that. To my relief all went well.. professionally done with without any pain. I would highly recommend MVOS, especially Dr Anderson if someone needs oral surgery work done

Positive experience: Referred for wisdom tooth extraction that my dentist thought deserved some specialized care. Made an appointment for a consult within a couple days, and time for the extraction also wishing a couple days. The staff was very knowledgeable and friendly. They did go out of their way to present all the risks and dangers of the procedure, far more than I had ever experienced. It was somewhat alarming, but proved to be a non issue.

Fantastic experience: A+ Attention to providing impeccable care. Dr. Swaroop even made his own follow up call, to check on my outcome. My family and I have been patients for 15 years! We are honestly in good hands here.

Negative experience: Care was good, they were almost an hour behind though. It felt like they were trying to sell me procedures, charging 100.00 copay even though I don't have a copay and the extraction was fully covered by dental insurance. They asked about a graft for possible implant told me that it's not covered by most insurance and wanted 695$ upfront without even running the insurance. Felt like they were more concerned with making money than giving good care and customer service.

Fantastic experience: My lady's tooth extraction was perfect. The pre-op explanation and home care instructions the doctor's follow up phone call. Very detail oriented and professional and having blankets a comfort touch. Allowing family with the patient until procedure begins keeps patient calm. Plenty of parking and waiting room with TV and wifi. Perfect.

They do what they can to alleviate your anxiety and create a levity during the process. Dr. Esbah was very clear and thorough with my tooth implant process. Front desk, nurses and Dr Swaroop was so nice, caring and answered all our questions. Also the place is so clean and welcoming. Can't say one bad thing about our experience. My other son has an appt somewhere else but I am switching so he can go here too!!!
