Fantastic experience: I have never written a review for an establishment before, but I would like to for this place. I just got my wisdom teeth out today with the help of Dr. Gupta and assistant Samantha. It was my very first surgery, and I am very satisfied with the entire process. Everyone I talked to was very, very nice, and I got to talk to Samantha about her job, and she is very passionate about it and is easy to talk to. The procedure was quick, and I got to keep my teeth. Dr. Gupta was also very friendly and told me when each tooth was done being pulled. Samantha also let me keep a fidget toy she gave me to play with before and during the procedure. My jaw and gums are doing wonderfully and I feel very much taken care of. Thank you everyone for making your office a welcoming and calm environment. :D

Fantastic experience: Dr. Nguyen is a skilled Dentist. He genuinely cares about his patients. He will go out of his way to attend to every patient’s needs. He is incredibly efficient, helpful, talented, and makes everyone feel comfortable. Even his staff speaks highly of him. He addresses every issue immediately. In addition, he always thinks ahead and contacts insurance companies ahead of time to make sure his patients are always covered. His staff is always kind, courteous, and welcoming. There is no need to be anxious going to the malden Dental and Braces location. The dental technicians are expert at their jobs and also go over and beyond expectations. Every procedure I’ve had done was clearly explained and gently executed by Dr. Nguyen. I had lost all hope with the condition of my teeth. When all the extensive work is completed I’ll be able to smile with pride. Thank you Dr Nguyen and your staff for changing my life.

Fantastic experience: I had oral surgery today with 1 of the oral surgeons, Dr. Alani. He was very nice & caring & I got to talk to him a while before my surgery. I used to be a dental assistant 50 years ago! I had a molar surgically removed after I had had lots of restorations done over the years (root canal, a post & 2 different crowns). After the bone heals, I am planning to have an implant placed by Dr. Alani in about 6 months time as we discussed again today & during my intitial examination. I did not feel any discomfort except for some pressure during my surgery today. Dr. Alani & his assistant were great today. I had been anxious to have this done for a while, since I haven't had any oral surgery since I was 17-18 years old & had my impacted wisdom teeth out. Thank you for taking good care of me in the office today. On to healing now.....

Negative experience: I’m very disappointed with my recent visit. During the X-rays, something was done that left a noticeable bump in my mouth that was not there prior to the appointment. This has been uncomfortable and concerning, and it should not happen during a routine visit. Additionally, my appointment was scheduled for 12:00 and began at that time, but I was then asked to wait until 1:00 for the cleaning. This kind of delay is unacceptable, especially when patients make the effort to arrive on time. Overall, this experience did not meet basic expectations for patient care or professionalism. I would strongly encourage the office to address both the issue with the X-rays and the scheduling practices to prevent this from happening to others.

Negative experience: So hard to get in touch with the dentist . Asked couple time through the phone and messages but no return calls. We actually have to make appointments to speak with him. Even though on 9:30 appointment we still have to wait til 10:30 to speak with him. I understand you busy but I feel like something so easy to talk about it through the phone instead of to take a day off to go in.

From the Front Desk to the woman who did my X-ray Manouchcha. Manouchcha was patient with me as I tried to figure out how to bite down on the equipment properly. Even though she had to retake several times due to me not being able to properly bite down properly, she never showed me she was upset with how many times she needed to repeat. Liz, who was phenomenal, did my cleaning and did a wonderful job explaining everything. She handled my teeth and gums with care and informed me of everything. When I met Dr. Dominique, he was pleasant as well. I will be returning back and would recommend if you are looking for a local dentist office. Thank you, Malden Dentistry team

Negative experience: Hi this Place seemed sketch off the bat but I tried to give them a chance because I needed urgent care instead it was Horrible didn’t service me at all attitude from front desk went in for a emergency and they wanted to pull my wisdome teeth plus another one without proper anesthesia if I wanted proper work done I was told by the dentist they did not have two hours to complete it but instead had time to pull a teeth ? EVEN if you need a cleaning I highly suggest do not go here they are half fast I didn’t feel attended to and felt very ignored about all my concerns ! Not to mention they don’t answer the phones AT ALL !!! If your looking for more professional care and immediate care visit Lynn oral surgery they will attend to you with care and get the issue solved right away even create a plan and make you feel heard!

Positive experience: They don’t return calls. You have to call several times to try to catch them to make appointments. I’ve been here twice and service is fine. Nothing bad but nothing special either. Just such a hassle to get appointments.

Positive experience: I’m leaving this review because I’ve called multiple times the past few days to reschedule my appointment and no one is picking up! I’ve left several voicemails with no callback. Then I get a text that says, “how can I assist you?” To which I have received no response after my reply. Guess I’ll leave a review instead: Please cancel my appointment on 12/3, I’ll look for a provider with better customer service ‍♀️

Fantastic experience: I’ve been going here since April/May after neglecting dental care for several years due to my anxiety around dentists. I’ve since had teeth pulled, root canals, fillings, and then finally dentures. Every step of the way I felt cared for and that not just the doctor wanted to make sure I was comfortable and had a good experience. My most recent visit was to get my first adjustments on my dentures and they easily understood the issues I was having and made sure they felt better and that I felt like the problem areas were ok. It was all so easy and seamless. I still have some anxiety, but I know when I go to Malden Dentistry & Braces that I will be taken care of, including breaks if I need them. I cannot thank this staff enough for helping me get my smile and getting rid of what was causing me pain.

Fantastic experience: Best dentist ever! I recommend him to all my family and friends, and they all have nothing but positive feedback. However, I found the receptionists at the Everett office to be unhelpful. I was in pain and needed antibiotics, but they wouldn’t call in the prescription for me. Instead, they told me to go to the pharmacy and that I would only have to wait for 30 minutes. A friend of mine had the same issue. I suggest going to the Maden office instead, as they are much more compassionate.

Negative experience: Rude front desk which is typical at a dentist office, always busy appointments don’t mean anything because you still have to wait forever and the dentist is working on 2-3 people at a time NEVER coming back

Fantastic experience: After an accident my teeth shattered and I was certain I’d be needing dentures and they were the only ones that would help me- after 4 weeks I have my teeth again- they are all kind, professional and the results will speak for themselves but if you have issues or not this is a great place to go- I was petrified if the dentist but he made sure I was good and comfortable- before pulling your teeth by someone else try a consultation I’d place a wager they’ll save your teeth

Negative experience: First time seeing dentist after consult. Seen half an hour late, rushed job as I'm sure he was trying to keep up with his other appointments which is understandable. Asked to fix bonding which he did but ended up reshaping and ultimately filing down a perfectly healthy front tooth that I didn't ask to be modified which then left it uneven. Impatiently asked twice for consent to proceed with the drill in hand while his other hand was in my mouth and I was unable to adequately reply nor given a mirror to see what he was referencing. I remained in the chair and trusted him to fix whatever he was looking at and I came out worse for it. I would hope that if he had more time he would have shown the task more care and I would have had a better result. I think he is talented and educated but when it comes to the final result I had a very poor first experience with him.

I expressed my feelings of nervousness that some people feel when seeing a dentist and he assuaged my concerns and provided me with a smooth, comfortable experience. I would recommend him and his team to anyone looking for a dentist.

Negative experience: I had an initial appointment for Wednesday, which they had me confirm over text and phone call 4 times. With less than 15 hours to my appointment, they called and told me they had double-booked me and wouldn't be able to do the procedure I had the appointment for, prompting me to reschedule for Monday at 11 a.m. On Monday, I showed up 5 minutes early and checked in, then had to wait another 27 minutes before they could see me. Mind you, I had to get permission/check out of work for both instances! The staff were friendly but have a serious disregard for people's time!

Negative experience: I went for a cleaning and they did no such thing and instead insisted I get my wisdom teeth removed. There was dirt and dust everywhere and rust and water stained floors

Fantastic experience: I was in alot of tooth pain called several places that either didn’t answer phone or couldn’t see me for a month they not only answered the phone but were very pleasant and had me come right in .. which I was both thankful for and scared at the same time I haven’t been to the dentist in quite awhile and they make me extremely anxious but the pain was unbearable .. EMILY the dental asst was just AMAZING what a great job she did talking me thru everything and even distracting me with fun stories and talking about my kids for such a young girl she truely is well educated and so kind . I ended up having 4 teeth pulled and let me tell you the young doctor Nguyen was GREAT friendly and skilled explained everything as he went and I didnt feel any pain I have to say everyone I came in contact with was very kind and I am so thankful I’m on the road to recovery ! Negative experience: Hi, I had an appointment on Tuesday at 1pm. Sat for an 1 hour and 20 minutes before I could even be seen by the doctor who kept leaving the room to talk to other patients. Very disappointed especially when it makes you even more anxious to get your wisdom teeth pulled by being on edge. Filled out paper work that went ok. Doctors assistant did not explain to me what she was doing. Told me to open my mouth and she put this Vaseline like thing with q-tips, would have been helpful if I was told what it was for, put on the laughing gas mask didn’t tell me anything either meanwhile I could hear the doctor explaining to the patient next door what the laughing gas was for. Doctor came back numbed me got to pulling, at one point the pain was HORRIBLE I started crying hysterically and was asked why are you crying by both the assistant and doctor which didn’t make it any worse. Doctor left did not tell me anything and left me with assistant. Lots of things need to be changed. This dentist’s office is not for me. Thank you for taking the teeth out.

And to top it off...they saved my wife and I a bundle of Money by offering us their In-House Dental Insurance, since my UHC stopped covering any Dental work. Negative experience: Awesome dentistry... I thought this was Revere braces and dentistry... This place is great 2... Not as friendly or caring but overall ok... Like I need an implant and insurance won't cover it and when I tried 2 talk 2 receptionist about a payment plan she was , well, not into what I expected... In fact she made me angry so I walked out immediately... I'm trying very hard to take care of the remaining teeth... Like it makes you feel like a million bucks!!! Point try and help those less fortunate with payment plans

Negative experience: My experience with the actual procedure, a simple wisdom tooth extraction on my left side, was fine. However, nearly 6–8 months later, I was unexpectedly hit with a bill for $685, along with a phone call stating that my insurance (United Health) had not covered the procedure. Confused, I spent weeks going back and forth between the dental office and my insurance provider, only to learn from my insurance company that the procedure had been paid for, and the error was on the dental office’s end. When I reached out to the dentist’s finance department, multiple times by phone and email, which was stressful, I was shocked to discover that I may have been charged twice for a procedure I never even had. They assured me the mistake would be corrected, and someone would follow up with me. But no one ever did. No apology, no confirmation—nothing. I assumed the issue had been resolved. That is, until another 6–8 months later, when I discovered they had sent the bill to debt collectors despite admitting over the phone that there was a mistake. To make matters worse, I had specifically asked before the procedure if my insurance would cover it, and I was reassured that it would. They even tried to persuade me to have the right side done as well. I’m incredibly grateful I didn’t. I would caution anyone considering this practice. While they may do the procedure itself, their handling of billing and insurance is deeply concerning. No patient should have to go through this level of stress over an error that was not their fault.
