Fantastic experience: Excellent visit to GDS last week to have work done on replacing a veneer. Dr. Kenson and Shlonda patiently answered my questions in full before proceeding with the work. Then they proceeded with great speed and precision to map the tooth, remove the old veneer which had fallen off a couple times, and put on a temporary crown. Very smooth, painless, easy (for me). I admire their skill and appreciate the results. See you in a couple weeks for the final crown!

Fantastic experience: I have been going to this dental practice for almost 30 years - it was first run by Dr. Beacom who was the “Coors” dentist. It has since been purchased by very talented and honest dentists who have never tried to recommend care that was not needed. I no longer live in the area, but I am more than happy to travel to Golden for appointments because of their excellent care.

Fantastic experience: This place is the BEST! My hygenist and doctor were very thorough, never rushed anything, and answered all of my many questions. Wish I remembered their names. They taught me about the benefits of a water flosser, and I swear my mouth has never felt so clean even after just one use. It might be placebo but I feel like my teeth look whiter already. Also, the receptionist (maybe her name was Aubrey) did all the hard work to lay out what my plan does and doesn't cover for future dental work. Seriously this would've taken me hours on the phone with insurance to figure out and she laid it out so clearly in 5 mins. 10/10 would recommend!

Fantastic experience: I’ve been going to Golden Dental Solutions for many years now after a strong recommendation from a friend. I did not realize how much you could have a proactive partner in such an important area. I always had dentists say “you have such nice teeth” and I never learned about true gum health and the interconnectedness of what is going on in your mouth with your broader health. I wish I found them sooner and I highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: I posted this a while back and everything stands the same. I LOVE this office. The entire staff is very welcoming. The skilled staff are very knowledgeable, always open to questions, and happy to supply easy to understand answers. I primarily see Dr Dallas Kenson and she is wonderful. Her care has not just lead to good dental health, but better physical health. Her observations of my nasal passages lead to sleep studies, the prescription of a CPAP, and ultimately to a sleep specialist. I am now sleeping soundly and deeply, enjoying more energy than I have had in years! Dr. Kenson cares for her clients with tremendous care. Plus, she is very personable and easy to work with.

Positive experience: Most of the hygienists are good & 2 are excellent. They provide a pillow for your head, sunglasses for glare, lip gloss. And they don’t mind you listening to podcast. I do feel their prices are quite high.

Fantastic experience: So thankful for Golden Dental Solutions fast actions! My 7 year old son broke both of his adult front teeth. I called Golden Dental Solutions and they said come in as soon as I could. The front desk help get us in, Marshel quickly got X-rays done, Dr Leung came in and saw my son, reviewed the X-rays, Coordinated with our Orthodontist and called to get us an appointment with and Endodontist. Fantastic experience: I’ve been going to Dental Solutions since they started. What a professional group of experts! I get to choose my hygienist when making appointments. I feel like Shanna is an old friend even if we do see each other only twice a year. She’s considerate, gentle and thorough when cleaning my teeth. I totally trust the dentists when I have dental work done AND their assistants! The staff in the front office are top notch. Really know the insurance ins and outs. The whole crew gives you 150%! They are not in my insurance network therefore my coverage isn’t as great as it could be but I still go to them because of how good they are. I highly recommend Dental Solutions.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been taking my kid here for about 7 years. I credit Golden Dental Solutions for diagnosing her sleep apnea when she was 6. The several Doctors I had brought her to over the years had never keened in on the cause of her severe leg pain at night. Now 13, she had a cavity which they handled with care. Golden Dental Solutions spent a substantial amount of time with me evaluating the previous work that had been done and brainstorming a solution that would work for me. Today I am pain free for the first time in over a month. I can’t say enough good things about them and Dr. Kenson in particular!

Fantastic experience: This place actually fixed my fears of dental places. In the past I've had 2 very traumatic experiences at other facilities, and I came in as a new patient a month ago and explained everything to these girls and they took everything I said seriously and provided me with some of the best care I've ever received. Highly recommend this place, as this staff has empathy and compassion for their customers, as well as being extremely efficient and clean.

Fantastic experience: The dental assistant was wonderful. She did the best cleaning that I have had for decades! She was wonderful!

Negative experience: I have to be honest… I have never had so many extra procedures recommended to me. I was told I had gingivitis, (I had no symptoms or visible signs) which freaked me out, because I have always taken exceptional care of my teeth and gums. I was recommended an expensive laser treatment (which I declined). I got a second opinion from my orthodontist, and was not only told that I don’t have gingivitis, but I have exceptionally healthy gums. The same thing happened to my daughter. Her oral surgeon said her gums were looking great! When my husband had a recent appointment… same thing! The hygienists do most of the diagnosing (and perhaps get commissions for upselling patients on these cash-only procedures). Patients are lucky if they see the DMD for three or four minutes- tops. If something comes up and you have to reschedule, it’s impossible to get an appointment inside of 6 months. It’s not healthy to go a year without a cleaning, and their current patients should always be prioritized over new ones. It’s clear they are drowning and unable to provide good care, and use hygienists to pick up what should be diagnosed by a doctor. After a few years in the practice, they don’t know me at all… I’ve seen a different dentist each time. I’ve missed cleanings due to their lack of availability. Their waitlist option yielded zero calls. That could certainly cause gingivitis over the long haul. Ultimately, I want better care for myself and my family. So I’m finally pulling my family out of this practice. As a medical professional it is disheartening to see so many defensive responses to reviews. I encourage my team to find out what we could do better if somebody has a less-than-positive experience. It is much more encouraging to witness a growth mindset, humility, and efforts to improve. That is the hope with these reviews!

Fantastic experience: Kim, my dental hygienist, and Dr. Qi were both great today (as always)! I switched to this office 2 years ago, and I didn't know a dentist could be so great! They're fantastic technicians, friendly, and informative. I love the monitor they use so I can see everything they are describing about my teeth, especially if there are any problems to discuss. I’d like to give them 6 Stars!!! Just go to Golden Dental Solutions already!!!
