Fantastic experience: They need to add another star so I can make my survey "Excellent!" Everyone at Halsa Dental is beyond "Very Good!" The hygienists are all great. I had Lindsey, this time, and she's so careful about cleaning my teeth but constantly checking to see if I'm okay. In addition to nine x-rays, she also did a full-mouth, jaw and neck inspection for oral cancer. I love that massaging chair! Dr. Peterson checked my x-rays and went upstarts to check with that dental service to see if I needed a root canal (thankfully not)! The receptionist/accounting young lady was very quiet and helpful as she explained my bill so we had the privacy patients want. The only thing better than yesterday would be to go through the whole office and get a little work from everyone! You all take good care of me and I love you all!! Thank you!

Fantastic experience: Crown replacement was handled in one visit. Total time start to finish was less than 90 minutes. Can never say a crown replacement was painless, but this was close. Interesting digital imaging for the permanent crown. No more use of a mold then waiting two weeks with a temporary crown in your mouth. Everyone was friendly and courteous. Price was reasonable. Thank you Dr. Lauren Peterson and staff!

Fantastic experience: My company had just changed insurances and I had chipped a tooth over the weekend. Called Halsa first thing in the morning and they were able to get a new patient in at 11am! Not too many other offices in my experience would have been able to do that. All procedures were explained in a way I could understand and I knew the cost before I had to agree to any treatment. If you want a worry free, outstanding dental experience, Halsa Dental is the place to go.

Negative experience: My family and I were longtime patients of Dr. Peterson. At my last appointment, several months ago, due to their front desk error, I was told I didn’t have the correct insurance and would need to stop receiving services that day. The front desk person admitted that she had screwed up my insurance eligibility and I wouldn’t be able to finish the appointment. The sad part of this story is that she and no one at Halsa Dental had enough customer service skill to figure out the situation so that I could remain a patient in their office. I contacted Dr. Peterson when I got home to talk with her about the situation and she never called me back!. So much for loyalty to her longtime customers! Found a new dentist with much better customer service and respect for their patients.

Fantastic experience: This place is always clean, orderly, and as pain free as anyone could reasonably expect. I've had 2 crowns and 2 cavities filled. The thing that amazes me most is how fast and accurately they work. They get you through the "uncomfortable" parts as fast as they can while doing excellent work. I've told them they would make a great indy 500 pit crew!

Fantastic experience: I just had the best dental experience of my adult life. Why did I put up with less for so long from other practices? I wish I'd switched sooner. What made my first experience at Hälsa so good? --I was greeted by name when I walked in the door. --The receptionist introduced herself and reminded me that we spoke on my first scheduling call. --I arrived early for my appointment. Hälsa was ready for me. --My hygienist introduced herself with amazing eye contact, like she cared who I am. (So many practices miss this crucial step in their haste to move patients through.) --The office is lovely without being over the top (like pretending to be a spa). It's still a dental office, but not so stiff. I felt at ease in the space right away. --From my first phone questions about insurance to my health history to the final inspection of my teeth, every person clearly paid attention, noted what I said, asked questions and took time to answer mine, and put my patient experience first. The dental chair has massage rollers, for crying out loud! Everything about Hälsa says, "We care." --Procedures and costs were clearly explained ahead of time. We talked about pros and cons. I felt informed, not pressured or rushed. I have settled for middling to poor client service at Denver area dentists since 2008. My experience at Hälsa has me wishing I'd found the practice so much sooner. Thank you to Dr. Carrie Dougherty and the whole Hälsa team. Is it weird to say I look forward to coming back?!

Fantastic experience: My July 2025 visit: Jannae is my dental hygienist; she is wonderful and treats my teeth and gums with care and gentleness. I receive important and relevant advice from her. Jannae is an excellent dental hygienist, and I appreciate her methods as well as her warm, friendly personality. My October 2025 visit: Jannae causes me no pain whatsoever. Her advice is welcomed by me, I learn something new every time. I have a sensitive tooth and she let me squish the water in my mouth rather than squirting the water directly on my tooth. Fantastic experience: I have a lot of anxiety about visiting dentists and after some bad experiences at another office, I have come to really appreciate all that Halsa offers. I am greeted by name by cheerful staff, they ensure I am comfortable during procedures, they make personal follow-up phone calls and in general, treat me like a human being, all the while performing high quality work on my teeth.

Fantastic experience: Lauren Peterson ABSOLUTELY is the Best Dentist DMD. She really goes out of her way to make sure you get the best needed work for your mouth. She is very Knowledgeable in cosmetic as well . I generally have a hard time finding a good dentist but now that I've been to Halsa I've found a Super good dentist ill keep and definitely refer everyone I know to her. Also she treated me like all humans want to be treated no matter what we look like,very kind, respectful. (Not many dentist are like that, so she's rare) The office secretary, and dental assistant were also great! The prices are good I really thought Halsa would be a very high priced dental office , but they are not. I give a 5 star but would give 100 star if they had.

The front desk team was so sweet and helpful right from the start- I embarrassingly, gave them all the wrong insurance info but they were right on helping me amend it. And with the Cerec technology in the office, my crown was done and done in a couple of hours. Why would anyone opt for 2 appointments separated by at least 2 weeks? I highly recommend Halsa Dental.

Fantastic experience: I have just had a tooth repair at Hälsa Dental. I was kindly greeted then taken to the area where the work is done. Hälsa has an atmosphere that is welcoming and with private spaces that share entrances both with other work areas and the main hallway. Dr. Cara explained to me several possibilities about my teeth and then I made a choice to have work done today. The assistants were ultra professional with me and with each other and they seemed interchangeable to cover all care. I was provided a beautiful blanket as I was quite chilly once the work began. Dr. Cara continued to update me during the work. I left with a new crown knowing I had chosen a dental office with staff who care about me.

They answer all questions and really take their time to make you feel comfortable. They even remembered i had a job interview 6 months ago and followed up on how I did. I have a degenerative condition in my teeth, and the docs and hygienists are very knowledgeable, kind, and accommodating. Also, they have the absolute best technology…you can get a whole crown made in about a half hour while you wait there! Highly recommend.

This place did that efficiently and well, all while having friendly staff who were professional and kind to both me and my teeth and gums.

Fantastic experience: I have been a patient of Halsa Dental for 8 years. Dr. Peterson and all the professionals working with her are the best in the art of dentistry. They consistently have state of the art equipment to better serve their patients, which in turn makes going to the dentist an stress-free, pain-free experience. For example when I needed a crown made for one of my teeth their equipment properly measured my tooth and created how that tooth fit with the surrounding teeth it and how it fit with the teeth above when I would bite down. The sizing calculations, so to speak, were fed into another piece of the newest technology and voila! it produced a perfect new crown. Not far in the past a new crown took two to three appointments and as much as a couple of weeks waiting time. The crown appointment I had took less than 70 minutes - most of that was waiting for the crown to be created. Halsa Dental is one fine operation. In my mind these people set the standard by which all dentists should operate!

Negative experience: Staff is super friendly and office is very well kept. However do not go here! They are insanely aggressive in their treatments. After my visit here the dentist said I needed two fillings and a repair on a previous filling. After getting a second and third opinion both dentists had the same opinion that there was something there but that it didn't need any treatment and regular flossing and brushing would prevent it from growing. Also all of my fillings looked fine to them.

On a more personal level, before I started going to them, I had not visited a dentist in a long time so I was very nervous. They were phenomenal. There was no shame, no lecturing and that first cleaning was a surprisingly pain-free and calm experience.
