Fantastic experience: Had my first appointment with them today and it was a great experience. The cleaning was thorough, everyone talked to me like an actual human being, and the whole office just had a genuinely welcoming feel. Also appreciated that they’re not a private equity-owned dental office. Highly recommend so far.

Jill and Jen were outstanding, thoroughly explaining each step of the procedure - like a play by play of what they were completing next. Their attention to detail and care made me feel comfortable throughout. This visit was night and day compared to my previous dentist. My last crown procedure elsewhere felt like a scene from 'Hostel' - easily the most painful experience I've ever had. Positive experience: Everything one would expect from a dentist. I come back every 6 mos. for routine checkups. Been going here for 7 years. Update: Recently, I noticed some controversial banners around the office. These are better left at home, or private spaces. Not a huge deal, but I don't favor ideological gestures in a business I bring my kids to.

Fantastic experience: Emergency visit to address a tooth gone bad needing to be extracted. Dr. Derry took a quick visual look and x-ray and confirmed what I suspected. She suggested if I could wait a few days, she could pull the tooth and add some bone replacement material which could make having a replacement implant more likely to be successful in the near future after everything healed up. I agreed to this treatment. On the day of, Dr. Derry and her assistant were very patient in answering all of my questions and explaining exactly how the procedure would go. Everything went off surprisingly quickly and without a hitch or discomfort (less the Novocain stick in the gum to deaden everything prior to the extraction). Dr. Derry has an excellent chair side manner and I can confidently recommend her to anyone, especially those like me that are apprehensive of dentistry such that it leads to lapses in regular visits. I'm quite certain I will be seeing her and New Era Dental again on a regular basis to get my teeth and gums back to where the need to be.

Negative experience: Summary: Dentist - 5 stars. Dr. J.D. seems knowledgeable, skilled and conservative (e.g. no drilling or crowning unless it is truly needed - which is good and rare in modern dentistry). Front office staff - 1 star. They're opaque with information & sometimes outright dismissive. Definitely lied to my wife and I on 2 instances (white lies, but still). If you're owed a refund be prepared to wait - this is not a priority for them. Will not warn you ahead of time about likely out of pocket expenses. Those of you on Delta - be aware you can only get xrays once in a 3 year period - they were happy to let me learn this the "hard" way). So 5 and 1 average out to a rating of 2.5 and so I rounded down to 2. Look, I don't care if I'm taking my car in for a new set of tires or signing up for a teeth cleaning and checkup. As a paying consumer of goods and services, I value a high level of courtesy, communication and customer service and reward such behavior with my ongoing business and will just move on otherwise.

Fantastic experience: I had such bad tooth pain for the 1st time in my life. Dr. Dery recommended that I see an Endodontist to get a root canal which they were able to get me in that same day. Then Dr. Dery was able to take care of my crown which was done with such care by the entire staff. Dr. Jill Dery and the staff are so great at their jobs and extremely friendly.

Fantastic experience: A They are aways professional. They offer suggestions and treatment plans, making sure you know what your insurance covers and what your copays are. Dr Dery is personable and upbeat. She offers excellent up to date treatments and care.

Fantastic experience: I had a emergency tooth pulled same day and everything went fine and they even stitched the hole to prevent a dry socket from happening. It was a but expensive but definitely worth it for me as I have had some bad experiences with dental work in the past.

Fantastic experience: I would highly recommend New Era to anyone in the Greater Denver area. While it’s right down the street from me - I would definitely travel if I needed to. I had a medical emergency on Sunday and was able to schedule a time online to come in on Monday. You don’t have to wait weeks to see them or even days. Most dentists will make you wait months to see them but not here. When I came in they were very friendly and were great about getting me in on time. Dr. Jill was able to go through my procedure very quickly and made me feel comfortable by clearly laying out what they were doing and why. I was in and out in less than one hour. I’ll be coming back in two weeks and while I have more work to be done - I’m glad I get to do it somewhere that I have confidence in doing a great job. Thanks Jill and staff!

Fantastic experience: I always have a great experience at New Era Dental. (5656 Ward Way, Arvada) Dr Jill and her staff are always friendly and personable. I'm always given smart, straightforward options to whatever procedures I may need to have done. I am also a smoker and have never felt judged. Follow-up appointments are always set, even six months in advance, with a text reminder, which works best for me. They work with my insurance provider. Lastly, at least from my experiences, I've never spent more than an hour in their office, that includes 2 extractions and a crown.

Negative experience: I paid for a dental implant at New Era. I asked several times directly, before surgery when paying, if the crown was part of the cost. They told me yes. When it came time to get the crown, they tried to charge me an extra $1,000 while admitting what they told me was inaccurate. This was dishonest and they offered me a 10% discount. Gee thanks. I would not visit this place again.

Fantastic experience: Friendly atmosphere and even friendlier staff! I never had a go-to dental office, nor have I ever built a relationship with any dentist. I can see myself being a patient here for a very long time. Everyone was so welcoming and took extra precaution due to COVID. Being new to Colorado, I am so thankful to have found a dentist office close to home. It was such a great experience! I will definitely be recommending New Era Dental to friends!

Negative experience: Dr. Jill is super. Her staff performs most of the work, including fitting caps. My temporary crown came out two times in three days. I was offered an appointment late in the evening, 7 hours after i called. Finance office provides inaccurate bills for service and staff don't pick up the phone. The only way to get their attention is with a dental emergency. Very disappointed.
