Negative experience: Booked an appointment with Dentistry of Colorado, They sent me texts every day for two weeks asking me to confirm that I would be there. I confirmed every day and the morning of the appointment an hour before I receive a text saying the hygienist is not available and has been out of town all week. Why schedule an appointment knowing you don't have the staff to fulfill the service? Why not notify me as soon they knew they didn't have staff? When I called to reschedule the soonest appointment was nearly a month out. After that phone call I received yet another text asking me to confirm the appointment for this morning. Which is it do I have an appointment or not, why am I getting daily automated texts for a service you can't provide? Extremely disappointed in lack of communication and accountability.

Linda, the hygienist has such a great bedside manner and explains everything that is going on. It was the first time seeing Dr. Ito today and he was very cordial and very helpful with my Partial plate problem. Nialle, The assistant was very helpful and I enjoyed talking with her. Overall, I am very pleased with the office.

Negative experience: Its a scam. I havent been this facility in over 5 years but they send me a bill every 6 months stating its overdue. Ive called several times but of no use. I am going to file a complaint.

Negative experience: I went to dentistry of Colorado - Arvada after the Wesminster location closed down 5 months ago. I had a regular cleaning and had two cavities to be filled. Procedure was fine situation was great. 5 months later I receive a another bill asking for prompt payment of $19.00 that was apparently not paid by insurance. You lost me as a client for not respecting my finances and time.

Fantastic experience: I had a great experience.The staff was friendly, the office was clean and modern, and the dentist clearly explained every step of the process. The procedure was smooth and comfortable, and the results look completely natural. I’m very happy with my new smile and highly recommend this clinic!

Negative experience: I have had issues with the office but today just irritated me. I got a phone call a week ago saying my appt need to be canceled becuse said person was not going to be here. Then I got three reminder calls and then another one day off to come to appointment. I called to verify before. No call back. I show up to the appointment and I can't get upstairs becusse they have not turned on the elevator. I call twice and can't get though to anyone even though they show open on Google. I have had four doctor changes in the span I have been here. This I think finally says to me they are not organized. With three other locations around me it's time to find a new dentist.

Positive experience: I went in because my implants were loose. They did retighten them. I just wish they would have removed them completely and clean them because I told her it was sore in a particular spot and she said there’s probably food in there. She should have removed them at that point and sprayed my gums and the implants at the very least.

Negative experience: I received several confirmation of appointment text messages and then when I showed up for the appointment they said didn't you get our voicemail, we are closed today. Then funny enough I got this after visit text message asking me for a review. So here it is...you can text me to confirm my appointment and text me to ask for a review but you can't text me to let me know actually there is no appointment??? VM from unknown callers is not a good plan.

Fantastic experience: If I could give 10 ⭐️, I would. Everyone at the office, from the front desk ladies to the doctor himself, is incredibly considerate and nice. They definitely step back and listen to you when you have something to say, and they don’t interrupt you. They also give you a good path for your teeth and offer you better options than a typical dentist office would for replacing your smile. This makes me feel hopeful and worthy. They let me put on a calming show for my anxiety. They did not make me feel weird for having dental anxiety. Overall, in my lifetime, this was the best dental experience I’ve ever had.

Fantastic experience: I lost an old crown (about 10+ years old) while I was as on vacation. I was unable to get into the office until I returned a week later. I was immediately placed with an appointment for the next day . I was in and out of the office within an hour! I am so pleased with the work performed they made it a seamless fix and like I never lost my tooth to begin with. I was expecting another week’s wait but no they got me in because I was an existing patient. The whole office is Wonderful!!!

Negative experience: I visited this dental office as a new patient in July after my previous dentist stopped accepting my insurance. From the start, the staff strongly pushed for X-rays, assuring me they would be fully covered by my insurance. Both the dentist and hygienist were also very insistent that I needed Invisalign, which has never been suggested by any other dentist I’ve seen. Unfortunately, I later found out that the X-rays were not covered, which the dentist said was my fault, resulting in an unexpected bill. Overall, the experience felt unprofessional and left me with a very uncomfortable impression of the office. I would not recommend this practice and will not be returning.

She was cautious but conservative about big interventions, and helped me heal – with great support. I’m still a relatively new patient, and I’m so glad I was part of this clinic when this happened.

Fantastic experience: I usually go to the Lakewood clinic and today I had the pleasure of going to get my bone grafting done at the Arvada location. Everyone treated me with so much respect and actually made my fear of having to be operated on at ease. My personal dental case for implants has been extremely difficult, with many setbacks and problems constantly arising, these issues made me lose hope in ever being able to smile again, but Dr. Tariq and Lily have taken every step to make me feel appreciated and cared for. This doctor goes above and beyond for his patients and I’ve had such bad experiences with dentistry in the past that I genuinely feel so blessed to have Dr. Tariq taking care of me. Thank you guys so much for everything that you do. I also wanted to thank Lily for always taking the time out of her day to keep me upto date on my case plan and it’s an absolute pleasure getting to see her and speak with with her she is so considerate.

Negative experience: Go anywhere else They lied to me and forced me to take a complete XRay of my mouth when I did not want I went for a cleaning and they forced me to take X-rays even though I requested them to wait till later…. And just to force they told me “it’s the law to x-ray every 12 months in Colorado” I believed them but afterwards I googled if that was a fact…. Discovered there is no such law…. They just wanted to make more money and have an extra insurance claim I use to go to this place but after I realized they lied to me to take extra x-rays for no good reason and also tell me it’s the law….. I will never be returning here Don’t tell your patients lies Don’t build trust Thank you for nothing

Negative experience: Pros: The only good thing is they squeezed me in on short notice. Cons: Dentist did not even see me! A dental tech tried to tell me I wasn’t a candidate for implants as my upper teeth are perfect (FAR FROM) The “procedure” for the implants involves you going home in the middle of the process and coming back hours later so they can make the temporary teeth. Every where else does this before you get there. How much they charge is WAY off compared to their advertising. Add an extra $15k! Over all they might be an eh dentist for every day things. They are NOT an implant dentistry. They might advertise it and have it in their name. Compared to every other office that does implants they are just not up to standards. It warrants a complaint to the licensing board.

Negative experience: They *just* sent me a bill 16 months after they fixed an inlay and acted like it was overdue. It was for an inlay that they did themselves a few months prior to that. It should have been covered by them since they installed it. They can't seem to retain receptionists, and they lost my insurance info.‍♀️ Any competent EMR system would have that on file. It takes multiple tries to get anyone to answer the phone. I can't tell you the number of times the dentists would show up extremely late. The first time I met one of the dentists the first thing he said to me was "Wow, has your spacing always looked this way?" I had braces years ago. This office is incredibly unreliable and unprofessional. Avoid this office.

Fantastic experience: This staff is amazing, the Dr. amazing they worked with me on my payment options! The Dr. came in on his day off, because I traveled out of town to make an adjustment that was needed!

Negative experience: Dental hygienist told me she was a divine angel who passed on stories to others as a service to people who “need to hear them.” The story I supposedly needed to hear was one about a predatory priest who flashed boys at rest stops in her hometown, and what a great man he was otherwise. A lot of her stories were non sequiturs that didn’t make sense or were just inappropriate. When she asked me if I “needed” to hear that story about the predator priest I said “No.” I was then told I was probably supposed to hear the story to comfort me while getting a cleaning. I think not. I was also given unsolicited medical advice that her doctor supposedly gave her (sparkling water deteriorating bones!) All the while, I wanted to walk out mid cleaning. I told the dentist who took my complaint seriously. Either this person needs help or is just seriously inappropriate or unprofessional.

Negative experience: Worst most traumatizing dental experience of my life. After 2 hrs I still left with no temp crown or my permanent one re-cemented. The temp one popped out and the cement was still wet right in the lobby. She jabbed me with novacine SUPER fast. I’ve never had a dentist ever do that in my life. It’s supposed to be slow to make it less painful. It was excruciating and I was crying/groaning and almost lept from my chair. I’m already dental phobic and this experience made me even more traumatized!!! I was drenched in sweat, got hives, cried and had a panic attack. If I could give negative stars I would. The dentist hardly even talked to me or calmed me down. Both hers and the hygienists hands were shaking in my mouth!!! I can’t get over how poorly this all went. I immediately left and went into an amazing dentist and they said they did a terrible job making the temp and cementing it. And my crown became fractured— most likely from them (or CO of Lafayette) whittling it down away so my bite was right. I will call insurance and fight any payments because this is so unfair. RUN FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! They are completely incompetent. I’ve moved 19 times and have had many dentists and this was hands down the WORST place I’ve ever been too. So incompetent I may report for how bad it was. Wow.

Negative experience: The entire staff is different than 6 months ago. Apparently the company fired a lot of people for doing things in a shady way. Last time I was in, my teeth and gums were totally fine and now this condescending hygienist tells me I have gum disease developing. She’s “been doing this longer than I’ve been alive” so I should just blindly trust her despite having a different hygienist for 6 years. I walked out and will get a second opinion at a new dentist.

Negative experience: Went back in today a little weary from my last visit. made an appt for exam and cleaning. Since when did hygenists become doctors? The doc says everything looks good but the hygenist is trying to sell me shit and procedures i know i dont need. Just wanted a cleaning and thats it. Got 5 reminders of this same appt over a 5 day span too. Its obvious this place is desperate for business and nothing more. Well your greed cost you a customer today.

Negative experience: Worst appointment ever. I called and scheduled an appointment for a checkup and cleaning. Went to the back, they took a full set of X-rays. Hygienist came in and that’s when I found out there wasn’t a dentist there anymore.. I asked who was going to go over my X-rays. The hygienist asked what X-rays, she didn’t even know I had just had a full set of X-rays. She then explained about not having a dentist there. I proceeded to let her do my cleaning, which was terrible only took maybe 20 mins. Then the hygienist started making suggestions about my teeth. I told her she wasn’t a dentist and my appointment was under the assumption a dentist would look at my X-rays, as I have some issues to discuss.. So tell me how a cooperation can operate with out a dentist there..The manager Mandy said if they had a emergency there was a clinic across the street.. it is a medical clinic with no dentist.. So I had better not see a bill.. and they better send me a digital copy of my X-rays so I can have a new dentist look at them. This was so unprofessional I should have been told either when I made my appointment or when I arrived at my appointment there was no dentist. Unbelievable this can happen nowadays again very unprofessional.

Fantastic experience: I took my daughter here based on a referral from my hood friend, the kind of friend you would always listen to bc she always researches so well and has a solid gut instinct for good people) for a third opinion on her fractured front grown up tooth after being told by a hygienist friend AND her regular dentist that nothing could be done given her age and the specific fracture. Everyone at this office was wonderful, so positive and up for the challenge. We are thrilled to have found them.

Negative experience: Dr. and hygienist are nice, but something must've screwed up with their business plan. There used to be 4-5 dentists at this location, and now they're down to one who always seems overwhelmed. The last 3 times I've been in there they run through my mouth and push me out the door in 15-20 mins tops and say bye. I asked them about some concerns I had over my gums and they said "brush more, floss more, bye." I'm not a dentist but even I know my gums r fkd up. 4 ppl have asked me where I go for my dental exams in the last 2 weeks and I just can't recommend these ppl to anyone. They seemed to build their practice on selling invisiline (they used to push it HARD on me when I first went) and braces. If they had built their financial plan on just providing good service then they'd have a bigger client base and the rest would come. I gotta find a new spot.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Ryan is amazing! Extremely diligent in his work and makes the patient very calm. Makes sure you feel no pain or discomfort and if you do he makes sure that is the only time. The entire staff are very personable and caring. Absolutely the best dentist and office I have been to.

Negative experience: I went to Dentistry of Colorado Arvada for several years. Not once did I see the same dentist when I went. I was in my early 30s and never had had a cavity, but they put several of my teeth on “watch” for cavities. One dentist threatened that next time I came he would look at my teeth with a special light that could show were cavities are going to develop, before they begin, and that I would need to get preemptive fillings. This never happened, but finally a dentist told me one of the teeth they were watching had developed a cavity and recommended a filling. I asked for more information on how she determined that, which she wasn’t able to provide. When it came time for another appointment, I looked for a second opinion. In 2021 I went to a new dentist, and once he retired I went to the dentist who took up his practice. Both agreed there is no cavity. Both sit down and look at pictures and X-rays of the tooth in question with me, as a team. I told them about this experience, and they laughed, saying it was good that I trusted my gut and didn’t get a filling that I didn’t need. They also told me they wholeheartedly encourage their clients to get second and third opinions before making decisions on procedures. I’m so glad I finally found an honest dentist!

Fantastic experience: Dental hygienist is awesome and caring! We always talk about life during our visit. I’ve been going to this office for about a year and half now. They helped turn my dental health around to zero cavities each visit.

Positive experience: I Miss Andie… my Invisalign check in took 40 minutes with poor communication - up until this point I’ve highly recommended, I hope this isn’t a sign for future visits or treatment. My hygienist the week prior was awesome- she always does a great job, is personable and makes the visit fun. This time I felt like an inconvenience. I was supposed to have a check in with the Dr but he (I’m assuming he because he didn’t introduce himself) took a quick peek and then disappeared. I’d suggest when staff enter the room they introduce themselves, neither the doc nor the Invisalign tech introduced themselves and when your back is to the door it’s hard to see. I’m hoping to chalk this up to an ‘off’ day … but 40 minutes for an Invisalign check in and Dr check in that I don’t feel happened, seems a bit long considering previous ones were efficient, maybe 5-10 minutes max. 4 stars because the front desk staff always have their stuff together and my hygienist is awesome… a touch of customer service outside of that would be nice!

Fantastic experience: I have only been going to Dentistry of Colorado - Arvada a short time. I have found the staff to be caring, knowledgeable and very skilled at each visit. I plan to continue to use them for my dental needs. I think you will like them very much too.

Fantastic experience: Great place to get your teeth cleaned! Margaret, the Hygienist is very friendly and is great at her job. Everybody there is welcoming and very friendly.

Fantastic experience: This was my first visit to see Dr. Ryan for a cleaning and chipped tooth. I found the receptionist very pleasant and informative as to the procedures and charges with my dental plan. The dental hygienist was also very good and informative as she took x-rays and during the cleaning procedure. Dr. Ryan was calm, reserved, yet professional in my check-up and repairing my tooth which took only minutes. I will return in December. Negative experience: The absolute worst in the business. I had several calls with them regarding them BILLING my insurance correctly. To the extent we had a conference call with my insurance and an office manager. The new management is terrible. And BTW... Owners REFUSE to discuss anything with you.. Apparently they are too busy or simply dont care enough to???
