Fantastic experience: Dr. Ryan is a complete God send! My 8 year old is on the spectrum and went in for an appointment today, Dr Ryan was able to get him out of pain and his whole staff not only took the time to make him feel comfortable but calm my fears as well. I wish I could give he and his staff more than 5 stars! If you are looking for a dentist you will not regret coming. Bobby told me this afternoon he can’t wait to go back. Everyone that works there went out of there way to make him feel comfortable. Our dental hygienist even gave him a pair of sunglasses to wear to help with the bright light. Negative experience: I avoided sharing my experience until I knew I wouldn’t need to go back. Then I kind of forgot to write this review. So here it is -now. Sept 11. Of 2023. Not only did I wake up during a 4 wisdom tooth extraction, I couldn’t speak immediately as they were pulling a tooth that had to be cut from the bone mind you. I said “wasn’t I supposed to be asleep” the staff LAUGHED and put me back under. Moving forward my left bottom suture was not right causing additional pulling and irritation. I got dry socket even though I did everything right. I was dealing with this pain for 3+ months. So I reached out to the dental surgeon on call multiple times because it was infected, it was irritated, it was everything and I was eating NOTHING for over 2 months. the dentist accidentally texted me his frustration with me. Making me feel even less supported through the difficult recovery. Didn’t receive any compensation for being awake for 1/4 teeth being pulled. And definitely didn’t receive an apology for how rude he was, I know that he eventually noticed that he sent his text to me and not his buddy. Very unprofessional. If you’re on call- you’re on call. that’s what you get paid for.

Fantastic experience: I will be going here for ALL my dental work!! From the moment I walked in until the moment I left, I felt so comforted there. Everyone was so sweet. I was seen on 12/9 and was told I needed 2 teeth extracted. Dr. Ryan told me since I have severe dental anxiety, he recommended IV sedation which I was very pleased was an option! They couldn’t get me in to do until Monday 12/15 which would’ve been fine at the time so I scheduled the appt. However, the next day the pain became excruciating so I had to call elsewhere. The other place I called needed my X-rays and a referral from Platinum Dental so they called and LYDIA at Platinum Dental was SO HELPFUL!!! She got them everything they needed quickly because she was only worried about me feeling better. I’m so thankful Dr. Ryan gave them a referral so I could get this done quicker! Lydia also asked Dr. Ryan if they could prescribe me something for the pain. He approved it & Lydia called in medicine quickly to get me some relief. She even reached out to me to make sure I was doing ok and asked how my extraction went at the other place. I’ve never dealt with such caring people at a dental office- I will definitely be back for all other work!! THANK YOU PLATINUM DENTAL!

Fantastic experience: I had my teeth cleaned at Dr Green's office the dental hygenist that cleans my teeth is very friendly and experience I have very sensitive Teeth she takes her time Cleaning them. I am very satisfied with the service I get at Dr Green's office I have been a patient of his for about 35 years.. .

Fantastic experience: I being a patient for the last couple years of this wonderful dentist, both of them Drs are amazing, I juts call one Saturday because I had a emergency with one of my tooth and Dr Abigail open the office right away to check on me.

Fantastic experience: Platinum Dentistry has such friendly people working there! That is very important to me. They seem to enjoy their job and are good conversationalists also! They have done very good work on my teeth as well. They were recommended by a retired dentist friend after I was told by another place that my tooth needed pulled as it was not hopeful to save. Upon recommendation I went there to see if it could be saved. It was a long process but it worked. That was 2 years ago and I still have the tooth that was going to be pulled by a different place. I want to keep each of my teeth as long as possible! I decided to become a permanent patient. A bonus to going here is that the large windows look out on a flower filled courtyard and they have a large train close to the ceiling that moves through all of the rooms. Kind of helps soothe the nerves of the patients.

Fantastic experience: After being a patient of Dr. Platt's mentor for 20 years, I was reserved and anxious about the prospect of a young, new dentist. I had an issue with one of my teeth, so I had to bite the proverbial bullet. Upon meeting him and the work done, I was amazed. He is very caring strog attention to detail and surprisingly gental. I would definitely recommend this practice to anyone. If more dentists were like Dr.Platt, noone would ever be scared to go to the dentist! 10/10 you knocked it out of the park doc!

Fantastic experience: I changed dentists after being with the same practice for almost 40 years. I have an entire mouth of porcelin crowns and 1 implant. When my dentist retired and his colleague moved to California I decided to make a change. It took a lot of research before I found Platinum Denistry. I was extremely impressed...and I'm not easily impressed. So far they have built a porcelin bridge and matched my tooth color perfectly. They take the time to explain every single thing and answered all my questions in depth. If you are looking for a dentist who is able to take care of you for general cleanings, as well as the most complicated issues, you really need to give them a call!

I went to Dr. Platt for a consult 6 months ago after not going to the dentist for close to a decade due to several bad experiences that caused severe dental anxiety. From the very first phone call, I knew I had chosen the right place. Every single person in this building is sweet, kind, and caring to every patient. The receptionists are the sweetest, most wonderful people I’ve ever interacted with and they quickly eased my fears when setting up my first appointment. The assistant who took my X-rays, my hygienist, and both Dr. Platts were all incredible and kind each step of the way. I felt no judgment for my absence from the dentist for so many years. The office gave me a prescription for a sedative before I come for cleanings/any work I need done and it keeps me so comfortable during my visits. I’ve now been there several times and each visit has been so easy for me. I no longer feel impending dread about going to the dentist and I can’t thank Dr. Platt, Dr. Platt, and their entire team enough for making the dentist my favorite doctor’s office to visit. If you’re looking for a dentist, don’t look anywhere else. This place is perfect.

Fantastic experience: OMG. I called at 11:15 am with a just chipped tooth. Obtained an appt within an hour for evaluation. Awesome! I was literally in and out with a fixed tooth(amalgam repair) in 30 min. In addition I was given a blanket to keep warm and the chair had a back massanger. What more could you ask for??? Walked out at 1pm totally satisfied. 5 stars Diane, you are the best. Dr Platt has a sense of humor. love it. As well as the reception and exit staff. So glad I found your practice when my long time dentist retired. Stay human.

Fantastic experience: Busted a tooth sat morning ☹️ called Mon to set appointment unfortunately my schedule didn't allow me in until Thursday! The staff was so helpful and accommodating appointment at 9:00 am straight in! After a painless tooth extraction and some instructions was able to return to work but not before scheduling another appointment to continue on as my primary dental office. 10 out of 10 would recommend to anyone who needs a fantastic dentist and great atmosphere! Fantastic experience: I can’t say enough good things about this office. They make you feel so comfortable, I’m not someone who does very well at the dentist and I’ve had to be put to sleep to even have a cleaning for the last 10 years. Yesterday for the first time I was about to get fillings without being put to sleep and I’m so grateful for Dr. Ryan platt and his staff. I don’t plan on going to any other dentist ever! Fantastic experience: The office staff are friendly and the facility is lovely. While in the exam chair I looked out on a pretty enclosed garden (and this was in December!) Dr. Ryan Platt did an exam and consulted, via zoom, with an endodontist. I was impressed.

Fantastic experience: The office ladies are wonderful and kind and so helpful. They offer you coffee tea water if you are waiting for a patient. If you are cold they will give you a warm blanket. They call you by your name and always asked how you are doing your family even your animals. You hardly wait for your turn. The ladies that are his assistants and hygienist are Absolutely wonderful. They go out of your way to make you feel comfortable. Make sure you’re not in pain though assist you and how to open your mouth how to turn your head. They’re funny they’ll tell jokes with you. They get you all prepared for Dr. Platt to come in. He always calls you by your name and how you doing but just a wonderful, wonderful, wonderful place to Go see a dentist. Dr Platt is kind patient and will answer any and all questions you may have.

Fantastic experience: My daughter had her wisdom teeth removed this week by Dr. Caitlyn Lochtefeld. She is wonderful & did an excellent job. The office staff was warm and friendly. They even followed up the next day to make sure my daughter’s recovery was going well.

Fantastic experience: This place is amazing. I’m not talking just for Mr.Platt either. The fellow lady’s whom he works with took such great care of me. Definitely recommend for you and your family. I finally can smile without being afraid to show my teeth, Thankyou all again it means more to me than you could imagine.

Fantastic experience: I would like to give TEN STARS, if possible! My 92-year-old mom needs a new set of dentures and she's paying through Medicaid. For some reason, Google sent me to Dr. Platt's office; however, they do not accept Medicaid for payment. BUT ... Lydia was gracious to offer me the phone number of the Dayton Dental Society who could tell me what dental office in the Dayton area WILL ACCEPT Medicaid! She literally saved me HOURS of making calls, since this is the second office where Google sent me that doesn't accept Medicaid! That is a CARING STAFF!!!!

Fantastic experience: I called last last Tuesday, got a consultation the very next day for my composition bonding. The following Monday, I got my teeth cleaned & my bonding done! The ladies at the front Jenny and Laurie were so helpful in making my appointments.They even moved some times around so I could do it all in one day instead of having to come back twice! Kashell & the doctor did amazing with my teeth bonding, they tried to make it smooth & simple, explained everything thoroughly before during and after the treatment. My teeth are perfect now! My first time there & I will now be a permanent client. They make you feel so welcome from the front desk to the back rooms. I appreciate each and every one of you, thank you for your help!!

Fantastic experience: i was in dire need of finding a good dentist for myself. i am fairly new to the adult world and looking for dentist and doctors that are professional and knowledgeable can be hard when you’re a new patient. after hearing so many good things about the Platt Family Dentistry i decided to call and ask if they were accepting new patients. lucky for me i got “yes” as an answer and booked my appointment. the front desk is so incredibly welcoming and helpful. they’re so adamant to make sure you’re comfortable while you are waiting to be taken back. i got called back and was told about all the different tools she was using on me. i gathered information on my teeth and oral health that i personally have never been told by any other dentist in my past. the entire experience was wonderful, welcoming and professional. i am now proud to say i have found my new dentistry.

Fantastic experience: These guys are lovely. Dr. Green took great care of me the last few years, including taking my wisdom teeth out and guiding me through my recovery from that. Dr. R. Platt has been great the last couple times I've seen him, and on top of that, the receptionist reminds me of my mother, one of the kindest and most delightful people on this planet. The office is inviting, and there's a wonderful garden out back that you can look at through large windows in all the rooms. I love this place and I'm not going anywhere.

Fantastic experience: Been going to this dentist for 10+ years. Dr. Green recently retired. Dr. Platt took it over. I met him today. He's a very nice down to earth gut. Think I'll enjoy new practice.

Fantastic experience: I had whole in my tooth and had horrible toothache and I called the office and Dr. Platt and his team got me in immediately and took care of my issue. The moment my husband and I arrived it was the warmest welcome and empathy for my issue. Dr. Platt was so kind and patient with me as I was anxious and in pain but he and his assistant were amazing! Thanks to everyone!

Fantastic experience: I had my first dentist appointment today. I have never been to a better office environment. Everyone that works there is so incredibly kind and in great moods. Bonnie helped with my cleaning and she was just as sweet as she could be and super knowledgeable . I can't recommend this office enough. I am so happy that I made the switch from my previous Dentist.
