Fantastic experience: I'm pretty sure it was Dr. Joshua D Atkin who did my root canal. He was super sweet and very funny. He said your phone case is matches my mask. I shook my head and smiled. He said where are you from? I said Cincinnati. He said you turn right your in a bad area and then if you turn left your in a good area. I said yeah that's cincinnati for you! He was also very honest.

Fantastic experience: I got a root canal on Monday the 2nd the doc and his assistant was very much appreciated took very good care of me asked me if I was okay asking if I needed a break they were so kind and nice I really appreciate you guys

Fantastic experience: They were able to perform a few root canals that other dentists weren't comfortable doing, and referred me here, and I drove an hour from Cincinnati. It was beyond worth it. I was in no pain and the level of attention and precision that my dentist had was amazing. Right now the numbness is wearing off and I'm sore but I'm also happier than I've been in so long. From my experience I can't recommend this place enough. Thank God for them.

Fantastic experience: Ive been going to Dayton Dental for a few years now and I have always gotten great service and the staff are always friendly and helpful. But today I got crowns put on all 4 of my front teeth and I was really nervous on how they were gonna turn out, and I am blown away at how perfect and natural looking they came out, they are absolutely gorgeous! Thank u for giving me back my smile Dr. Omar, and thank u to all the assistants who helped, I could not be any happier with the results!

Fantastic experience: I despise dentists, my one fear. I say I’d rather parachute into Russia than deal with the needles and not seeing what they’re doing, that terrifies me. Dr Akin was amazing and I won’t say that my fear is gone completely but they’re not giving me Valium and such to deal with going like I have been given my whole life before a dentist appointment. They’re easygoing and comfort you. I’ve dealt with Morgan and Ashley too, both outstanding and comforting to someone like me who is terrified. I highly recommend these three if you have to see a dentist. Today I had my post op appointment and made sure to thank Dr Akin for everything he’s done to comfort my fears and help me.

They helped me with my baby while doing my teeth and made me feel like I was no bother at all!!! What place do you know that treats you like this ....I recommend a million times over!! Did amazing job very nice ask alot of questions about how your feeling and if your comfortable and the did 7 teeth in one day and got me in to do the rest and immediate teeth in two weeks doctor newbern is super amazing!!! Very nice intentive to every need Morgan is absolutely the best!!!! She's so sweet and makes sure she does her best for your situation!! They are booked out for almost a year but she was able to come on a day she normally doesn't work just to help me get myself together raven is also is a dental assistant who help the doctor do my extractions and she was so sweet and intensive and made sure I was comfortable.....just overall 20 out of a 10 for sure best experience I've ever had at a dentist office all the stuff were super polite!! Best place in the tri country area hands down!!!!!!! But I must say once again Morgan is the bomb period!!!!! And if you get to come in as for doctor newbern he's the best hands down!!!! Thank you so much Dayton dental you have changed everything about the dentist field for me I'm not longer scared to death and I'm so grateful y'all took your time with me!!!!

Fantastic experience: First and foremost, I want to say thank you to Morgan! She was so helpful and just so understanding. My bottom dentures broke and that being said, its hard-to-find places who can repair in a timely manner. Morgan really was wonderful, and the lab did amazing work! My dentures look brand new and I couldn't be happier!

Negative experience: My fill ins here and both times they’ve made my bite off- they keep telling me there’s nothing wrong with it but food slips through my teeth as I’m trying to chew. I’ve told them the third time I went They made my teeth too smooth and they’re not taking accountability and telling me it’s fine when im clearly telling them im uncomfortable and it’s different. I will be looking into legal options this is ridiculous-

Negative experience: Scheduled cleaning in Feb 2025 for Oct 2025 for myself and my child. I show up, am taken back and told we were getting x-rays. After talking to the doctor she noted an old filling needs replaced (as if I didn’t tell her that beforehand). After the consult she asks if I wanted to move forward with it. I said no, I’m only here for a cleaning. She says ok, leaves, then returns to tell me that neither myself or child are on schedule for cleanings. I reiterate what I scheduled for. She offered to do my child’s cleaning (ok fine). While cleaning, the drill was not working. The assistant went to get another one that all did not work properly. The assistant stated the hygienist ordered new ones but would not share them. The doctor proceeded to put the drill in my child’s mouth and I asked if it was working properly. The doctor looked up and said yes. We get to the car and I asked my child if the drill was spinning and she said “no, it kept stopping. It was not working right” Professionalism, customer service, and equipment are all lacking. Not to mention I called to talk to the office manager and she got mad because she stated it takes an hour for every patient to be cleaned but we ere there for less than 45 mins. So you’re saying your doctor did a half job? She hung up on me.

Negative experience: I have only one thing to say…STAY AWAY…they are the worst dentists I have ever been to!!!! If you want pain and terrible looking teeth…go there!

They go above and beyond making you feel comfortable and explain every procedure that they will be performing so you do not have no unexpected surprises through your visit . Negative experience: If you need a root canal, I strongly recommend going elsewhere. They told me they would notify me once my insurance approved the crown, yet they had already confirmed the root canal itself was covered. I asked if I could at least proceed with the root canal to relieve the pain while waiting for crown approval, but they refused, insisting it all had to be done at once.

Fantastic experience: This place is amazing. Really only place I could find that took Medicaid. Morgan was literally a god sent. DR Newbern was also amazing . Everything was great, you should go!

Negative experience: After a filling I didn't know I needed, on a tooth that wasn't even bothering me, I am having pain. I called and was seen same day. The dentist said I needed a root canal. On the tooth they just filled. Obviously, I wasn’t super happy about that considering it was fine before they touched it. He gave me an antibiotic that worked for a week. But, it wore off and I've been in horrible pain. I called today and the receptionist wasn't very pleasant or empathetic and told me they had nothing for 2 months. Now it's not quite 3am and I've been up for hours from the pain.

Positive experience: Dr Atkins was wonderful. I've had 2 sets of dentures w Dayton Dental. First set was a wash fitting to big the day I left & repeatedly told them so I was left gluing dentures into my mouth. Granted I had shrinkage but they didn't seal at all. Second time I've had to get a few adjustments & this is where I'll point fingers. Dark hair lady who does the fittings made me feel like I had limited time to get dentures adjusted saying she couldn't adjust them anymore & I was sent w dentures being uncomfortable to point I couldn't wear them. Second adjustment went very well w diffrent assistant who didnt make me feel pushed out the door although I had 2 spots irritating my gums so back for a 3rd time w the dark haired lady. I feel she should give the patient time to wear dentures make sure nothing else needs adjusted while they are there. She repeatedly said I cant adjust them anymore in the 2 sessions I had w her. If she had to wear dentures she wouldn't be so quick to get you up out of the chair & say wear them & you can come back if needed. Hurrying patient up out of there. Other than having to go back multiple times because my times up isn't profession at all considering I live 40 mi. One way! Dentures are made beautifully & I would recommend Dayton Dental Unlimited to anyone in need of dental care.

Positive experience: Great place....just hope you dont need to talk to anyone or need paperwork done hahaha!!!! Good luck with that! I swear they send phone calls to a different line. I've never been able to talk to ANYONE!! Ive Always had to drive to the building to speak to someone! Besides that over all pretty good place.

Negative experience: DO NOT GO HERE They drilled out the completely wrong tooth in my mouth. They were supposed to drill the top one and they drilled the bottom teeth. It was also not filled in correctly so now I'm experiencing pain. I have filed a grievance through my insurance against them. Do not go here.

Fantastic experience: This will be my 3rd visit to "Dayton Dental Care Unlimited" and I have a great experience every visit. This is absolutely nothing like the previous Office. There is a whole new staff of hygienists, new owner whom I believe is one of the 2 Dentist that work here. The younger dentist is very caring, gentle and took the time to make sure that I was comfortable and satisfied with my visit. As well as what I came there for. No long wait and every visit, it is not crowded with patients! I will continue to tell family, friends, associates and others that this is a friendly, warm and comfortable environment/place Thanks to everyone at this office- for all their help!! Positive experience: The Doctor and receptionist were very nice and respectful. My nurse was very unprofessional and disrespectful. She hurt me and yelled at me when I complained. They switched nurses and everything was good.

Fantastic experience: I called to schedule an appointment as I have some pretty serious dental needs. She said they were scheduled out until November. I went ahead and scheduled because I really had no choice. Given my circumstances, I was called back today to move my appointment up so I can be seen in a few days!!

Negative experience: Do not go here if you need extensive work done! First reason is because it is impossible to make a follow up appointment. I’ve called 6 times the past 2 days and after at least 30 minutes holding, it transfers to voicemail! And they won’t call you back. This is my third infection from their work. I got all my bottom teeth pulled to get dentures that snap in, but they left part of a tooth. Went back to get it pulled out, guess what?! It’s still there! And that’s just one issue! There’s so many I couldn’t fit it in this box. They’re horrible. So now I gotta go to the ER, again, to deal with this infection. I’ve paid them 14000 dollars. And I’m done! I’m telling you! Go somewhere Ella’s!

Fantastic experience: Dayton Dental is absolutely amazing the lady at the front desk is the greatest. Melissa should be the employee of the month. My granddaughter is autistic and has a big meltdown with a dentist. Melissa helped calm my granddaughter down and even went back to the room to hold her hand. I wish that there were more compassionate people like Melissa that knows how to deal with special needs patients.

Fantastic experience: Kailey and Dr Newbern changed my life. When This office was under a different management,it was kind of a monster. Beng very transparent. My paid for partials were lost. I was told I had to pay or just wait 8 years. I was so upset, they also take care of my only child's teeth and I didn't want to start moving him from. Place to place. To be honest it was so many extremely (Melissa/Sam) nice people that worked here during the years that we're still trying to track down these partials. Now one day I meet this new DA and Kailey and I began telling her my story and she was so hurt for me. I was in tears explaining how this is my son senior year and I just want to be able to smile. She left me quickly and went and spoke with our new dentist Dr Newbern, He said ohh no he was going to do whatever in his power to fix this. Days later I was approved for a new partial walked in with the letter was able to get a cleaning and my impressions done añnddddd a appointment to come back the next day to do a try on. . I'm so glad I didn't give up on this dental office.

Fantastic experience: overall it was a pleasant experience! most of the time when we go to the dentist most of the time it's a frightening experience! from the moment you walk in they are very nice really professional! To going in the back where they do different procedures the nurse was wonderful the doctors are great would recommend this office! highly recommend!

Negative experience: Waited for 3 months for my appointment that was on Christmas Eve. Waited for 2 hours to be seen for 7 minutes. They stated they didn't do deep cleanings even though they told me they did when I made appointment and it states on their website they do that service but they told me I was to go to Sinclair to have my teeth cleaned by students. How does a dentist office not do deep cleanings? My appointment was rushed and my needs were not met. The doctor was hateful and not helpful at all. Understandable that it was Christmas Eve but if you can't do your job properly and rush people then don't schedule appointments on a holiday. Very Unprofessional. Nurses had their children walking around with no shoes on, behind the desk and walking around the facility. I Do not recommend to go there!

Fantastic experience: I have been bringing my girls to Dayton Dental for over a year now and every since they started coming here everyone has been so helpful from scheduling appointments, to taking my girls back and making sure they are comfortable so thank you to the dental assistant, to the dentist who work on my girls and making sure their teeth are in perfect condition!!! The front desk ladies are always going above to make sure things are taken care! I’m so glad I started bringing them here!

Negative experience: My son received dentures from Dayton Dental a year ago, the top plate cracked in half in 2 different places. He called and they told him to bring them in for repair and when he did, they said they couldn’t repair them and wanted $800 for a replacement! His insurance won’t cover a new plate for 7 more years. Obviously something was wrong with the dentures to only last a year ( they are supposed to last 10 years) and for Dayton Dental to not stand behind the quality of their dentures is ridiculous. Go somewhere else for dentures as these are very cheap and will not last!!

Fantastic experience: Did not disappoint when an urgent care visit was needed. Walked in and was seen with 45mins. Very personalized attention given. A smile was given from beginning to end ,from the front office to the treatment team ..THANK YOU ALL!!!!

Fantastic experience: I received a call that my son's appointment was canceled. This was beyond upsetting for both him and myself. We've been waiting for his appointment for over six months. I called and left messages for the office to explain that this must be a mistake, the appointment must have been canceled in error. I did confirm the appointment via text. I wasn't able to speak with anyone initially, causing me to be extremely frustrated and angry, however I received a call back two different times from this sweet lady by the name of Deja. She was completely empathetic to my situation and she remained calm and very professional while explaining my situation, even though I was very upset about the cancellation of my child's appointment. Deja's calm demeanor helped neutralize my tone. Deja rescheduled my Son's appointment and apologized for the misunderstanding. His appointment was set for the same day after speaking with her not only that Deja called me back the next day to make sure that all my concerns were taken care of. The manner in which Deja handled our situation is commendable. I really appreciate her doing her job in the exceptional way that she did it! Thank you again to the sweet lady named Deja that helped my son and I keep his appointment.

Fantastic experience: My 8 year-old daughter tripped at school playing around and broke off half of her front tooth. Dr.Gabriella and FDA Tabitha did an excellent job repairing her tooth. She is so happy it's fixed and she can smile again. The dental assistants there were so nice too. They did a great job of making her feel comfortable through the entire process.

Negative experience: Went here to get my partial fixed bc I was referred here since they have a lab in office. Got to my appointment and waited for an hour before I was called back, then all they did was take an impression, the lady messed it up and just fixed it with her fingers, (thankfully gloved). Told me to come back in an hour, so I did. Waited for ANOTHER HOUR before I was called back - the floors in the room I was in were in the same condition as before (filthy), indicating they don’t clean the rooms in between patients - they put the partial in my mouth and when I said it didn’t feel right, the lady said it was bc I wasn’t used to it anymore due to it being broken for a while, and that I’ll have to get used to it and I’m good to go. No bite test no seeing the actual doctor, nothing. Now the next day I’m in an emended amount of pain and where it was fixed is digging into my gum bc they did a botched job! Please don’t go here, this place is a joke!!!!

Positive experience: Everyone is really nice here and the woman who does the teeth cleanings is always so kind and helpful! She’s very gentle and is never in a rush. She also gave me advice on how to take better care of my teeth + some tips on brushing and flossing. Even though I’m an adult, there were a few things she had told me that I didn’t even know about (I unfortunately didn’t have access to the best dental care growing up) I used to be scared to go to the dentist so I really appreciate her and the other dentists that are here. The only bad thing I’d have to say would be that the receptionists were very unprofessional. They were loudly cursing and gossiping about other people behind the counter. At least close the window so that everyone doesn’t hear you.

Positive experience: Definitely a better place than Dixie Dental, in my opinion! You're not packed in there like sardines and the staff explains what they're doing next. They're also concerned about your comfort after the procedure's done. They're doing their best to help me keep my teeth after many medications ruined them.

Fantastic experience: Went in with an appiontment. Front office greeted me. My Wife’s dentures were cracked. They were very courteous and said they could take care of her right away. Within 10 minutes she was in the back being taken care of. They said if she left them they would have them done by 12:00 noon. It was 10 am. Came back at 12:15. They were done. Thanks for the good service.

Fantastic experience: Asia and serenity they are absolutely the most wonderful ladies upfront. I have been trying to call for two years. They are the first one to take care of me in over two years. Negative experience: If they are gonna charge for being 15 mins late to your appt then they should be charged for making you wait 2hrs after your appt time before you are even called to the room. It could have been a better experience. I will go to springfield next time atleast there you expect horrible service.

Fantastic experience: Under the new management our visits there have been great brought my daughter in this morning they got her back into the room right at her appointment time and her visit was so quick they found the problem and fixed the problem the staff was very friendly. Dental visits are not fun in general but I am happy with this office and the care and service that they provide

Negative experience: I had dental work done in February of this year went in for a cleaning then had to have teeth pulled a root canal and cavities done all on the left side of my mouth still waiting to get my crown and having been trying to get through for 4 months after waiting 2 months for approval to come through its September and I still can't get through I'm still having issues with my mouth still can't chew on the left side of my mouth without pain and also have a huge lump on the side of my gum I wouldn't recommend this place for all the money in the world they suck truly suck

Fantastic experience: I took a gentleman that lives in a group home to his appointment. I had tried to confirm it on Friday after receiving a voicemail. I was on hold for a very long time then when it was my turn, got disconnected. I did not call back as I was very busy. At his appointment today, I found out he was not scheduled. They has canceled his appointment when I did not confirm it Friday. He has to take 2000mg of antibiotics before an appointment due to medical conditions and he was given that today before his appointment, which had been canceled...He could not get back in until November to finish his fillings. I called when I got back and talked to a wonderful lady in billing who helped me! She was sympathetic to my concerns and got the gentleman in next month for his fillings. She also recommended setting his cleaning , which I did! I don't remember your name but THANK YOU! You were a God send!

Negative experience: This place is truly a joke! Came here years ago, Kilian pulled the wrong tooth. It's now has a different dentist. Had an appointment for cleaning called to verify appointment, was on hold approximately 30 minutes, go into voice mail to confirm appointment get there today cancel my appointment for not confirming. This is August 19, 2024 set appointment for March of 2025. This place has not changed and so unprofessional. Never again. BEWARE

Negative experience: Have had my teeth cleaned several times in the past with my wires in for my braces and it was never a problem until today. Waited a month for my appointment and go in to be told to reschedule because of my wires and they told me I could reschedule for February. That is ridiculous. Also keep in mind my father had his teeth pulled here and they completely messed up his dentures.

Negative experience: This place is a joke I'll never return been going here since I've been a child an went an have 8 teeth pulled an was the worse experience of my life.... I don't Recommend this place to nobody.That Doctor was very rude and so staff and I even called, but it took me 9 days to get ahold of somebody.After I left several voicemails, nobody returned my call.I finally got ahold of somebody today and she was as straight up.Rude witch never again....

Negative experience: I’m not sure how they got a four star review because nobody recommends this place. The employees have to be leaving reviews. The only reason people go is because they have no choice. The company is money hungry and they’re pushing patients in and not fully staffed to accommodate patients. The closest dentist in the city that are actually probably in network with CareSource excepting new patience and treating patients sooner then anybody else.They don’t return phone calls, but make sure they call you just in case you want to cancel. This place is a joke they did a root canal on my tooth without treating an abscess first which has caused me pain, severe pain for over a week and I called three days in a row with no one picking up or returning my voicemails so I show up to get help and speak to the practice manager (more like an office manager) that doesn’t even know basic medical terminology telling me they’re not an emergency clinic! (When they did this to me) Patient care should be first priority, and if you are the reason for a patient problem you have to fix it. Sent me home with amoxicillin, which did not work at all so I had to go to urgent care to be prescribed another antibiotic that should’ve been given to me by one of the two doctors it took 3 hours to do a root canal in the first place. Nothing against the doctors cause I’m sure if they knew what was going on they would be helpful with patients care. Im sure theres a lot of patient negligence going on in this practice and no one reports it. I’ve reported to Ohio Attorney General and if you experience any negligence or wrongful doing please contact Ohio’s Attorney General (also your insurance company’s)

Fantastic experience: Was very impressed with services here! All staff was more than amazing! A young gentleman named Joe Joe really had amazing bedside manners and made me feel like he truly cared about us patients experience. Every time he walk by he would ask if I or other clients needed anything. I was also impressed with how helpful they were with my situation and made time to squeeze in to do some things that needed direct attention. Dental hygienist Razshe took her time cleaning my teeth and was compassionate and had patience with me since my gums can be super sensitive. I 10 out of 10 recommend this facility! All in all I felt the staff truly cared for us clients!

Fantastic experience: Josselin was one of the most comforting people I’ve ever met. He has goals and aspirations and I absolutely know he is going to make it in the dental world. The dentist himself was quick and nice. Wonderful place to go. The world needs more Josselin’s!

Negative experience: This dentist cancelled my appointment I had waited for because I did not respond to their phone prompt telling me of my appt date,I couldn't because the APC or Obama era of phones has ended though I have a phone, my number has changed. So when do appointments get cancelled for not responeding to recordings,when did that era start never mind the fact that I have three teeth broken off and am in tremendous pain and have waited so long to get in,so I'm told without compassion my appointments been cancelled and if I don't like it I can find another dentist well ok guess I'll half to so beware public answer your prompts or just find someone more professional.thank you dayton dental

Fantastic experience: Dr. Atkins was THE BEST!!! He made sure I felt comfortable when getting my 2 root canals done!! HE MADE SURE I COULDN'T FEEL NOTHING, not a thing!! The young African American guy that was with him while working on my root canals, was very respectful, sweet, and kind hearted...MY new dentist now.

Negative experience: Patient mother here, review based on office/pricing! I am so confused and upset with price of the anesthesia going up every few months!!! My daughter spoke to them 2 months ago and it went up to $575 and then went to her apt a couple days ago and was told because she’s only having 2 teeth pulled, that the anesthesia was going to now be $625 but if she was having more than 2 teeth pulled, it wouldn’t be that much!!! How much sense does that make?? I have left messages for the office manager to me but get nothing!!

Fantastic experience: I have been a patient for a number of years and Dr.Atkins has always been fantastic! I also received treatment from Lia, the clinic hygienist. She is amazingly thorough and does an incredible job. Both, Dr. Atkins and Lia are very personable, and they take time to ensure all of your questions are answered. I highly recommend them for your dentistry needs!

Fantastic experience: I’ve been going to them off and on for years. They have always been very professional and affordable. I drive from Columbus Ohio to Dayton for my dental needs and it’s well worth my drive. I used to see Dr. Kleinman but now I see Dr. Omar who is just as attentive and gentle as Dr. Kleinman.

Fantastic experience: They were gentle, calming, and when it came to listening to my concerns, everyone was very polite and was extremely caring. The repairs they did were done with precision and not rushed. Very professional. I would recommend to my , friends and family.

Positive experience: The first lady i had was kind of rude in the way she spoke to me, but went easy on my teeth. The next two women that came in were very kind and did their job well without me in pain

Positive experience: They were running on time, everything was clean, everyone was so nice, and my hygienist was fantastic. This seems like a good place. I've got my next appointment scheduled.

Fantastic experience: The dentist was very personable helpful and concerned that I'm hurting. Good morning my tooth but flying across the room and the dentist assistant went chasing after it LOL! Negative experience: The wait was ridiculous, my mother was the last person in her group of ppl who came in for an appointment to be called back. Her appointment was at 11a and we didn't get called back until 1240p, mind you we got there at 1027am Horrible...

Positive experience: Although the wait time was long I am giving this place 4 stars. The other dentist I took my daughter to wanted to pull her broken teeth. This dentist says he can save them. Results to come in future appointments but I'm very thankful they are trying to save her teeth instead of pulling them.

Fantastic experience: This is a very busy dentist practice. My son goes here and I am very happy with the service he gets. I don’t know how they manage this place, but thumbs up to the staff.

Negative experience: Changed the name and still have the terrible service and dentist are very rude and Very insensitive to customer fears. Came in as a referral. They tried to use my exam info from 2018 information. I advised that I have been under someone else care and I only want what the reference paperwork advise. They so money hungry, I had to tell them to do an exam and x-ray. Just very unprofessional. Then after I politely advised what service I want done the assistant tried to tell me "looks like your having a bad morning but here we don't have bad mornings". Yeah I don't recommend this place to NO ONE.

Fantastic experience: Oh my gosh. My filling fell out and my dentist never answers the phone. I called Dayton dental care and they got me in THAT day and filled it the same day. So thankful. Everyone was so friendly ☺️
