Negative experience: Whoever I spoke with was very nice but I looked this place up and they said they do same day appointment and w n I wanted to get done she had no availability for same day and even said it wouldn’t be until late September we are early August

Fantastic experience: The receptionist Ms.Penny is very helpful, they’re very professional here and know what they’re doing and they know what they’re talking about! Dr. Sanjeevan is amazing !! My hygienist is the best RACHEL, I could talk to her all day she’s hilarious and she cleans my teeth really really good 100/10 highly recommend

Fantastic experience: I had been a patient for over 25 years with another dentist. Then had bad bridge work by another dentist. I like to function in the community where I live so, I read the reviews and tried North Dayton Family Dental. The staff feels like family! Penny, Dr Sanjeevan and Rachel have taken such great care of my teeth over the past 2 years. We devised a plan and it has worked out great. 4 implants and now perfect routine dental care. I would highly recommend NDFD.

Negative experience: North Dayton Dental tried to scam me and then tried to sue me. Penny, the receptionist, scheduled me an extra cleaning within a 12 month period, knowing the insurance company wouldn't cover the cost. Then they overcharged me for services not rendered. Then they tried to sue me for $643. When I contacted my insurance company, they told me I was only responsible for paying $281 out of pocket. We went to court a couple of weeks ago and I presented my evidence to the mediator. The attorney representing them said he wasn't authorized to accept the $281 I offered to pay. Today they called me to accept the same $281. Now why would you accept $281 if I really owe $643. They were afraid of getting exposed in court. If you use this dentist, go over your bills thoroughly and pay attention to the time frames. They're definitely not an honest establishment and I wonder how many other people have they done this to.

Negative experience: The Dental assistant was wonderful and the receptionist was awesome as well ..The Dentist did not care about the pain I was in came and left with the same problem I came there with. Still in search for a dentist that actually listen to the patient and come up with a great plan to help solve the issue im having

Fantastic experience: I had a loose tooth on my front lower jaws for years. It was a little loose so didn't really bother me that much. I procrastinated going to the dentist to have it removed, because whenever I went to the dentist before, it always involved paid. It finally got to be so loose it was interfering with eating. I called North Dayton Family Dental and Penny had an opening that same day. I was expecting at least the shot to hurt. Doc used a numbing gel on me first so when he stuck that needle into my gums, I barely felt the first prick on the front side of the gums and barely felt the first on the back side of the gums. It didn't really hurt. I could just feel it. When he pulled the tooth, I could not tell he pulled the tooth. I was expecting some pain for a tooth, even though it was loose, with getting a tooth pulled. I would not have known he pulled the tooth if he had not announce, "Ok, it's out.". All of the fear about going to the dentist was for naught. I have a new dentist.

Negative experience: I recently visited North Dayton Family Dental on Dec 17th 2024 for a crown procedure, and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. Initially, I had a temporary crown placed, which seemed fine at the time. However, when the numbing wore off and I was finally able to eat, I discovered that the entire filling that had been removed from my tooth was still in my mouth. When I returned to the office to get my permanent crown and explained what had happened, I was met with an unexpectedly dismissive response. The dentist stated that I "should have spit it out" and seemed unconcerned when I explained that my mouth had been numb at the time, making it difficult to notice or act on the issue. Despite my attempt to clarify that this wasn't just a small piece but the entire filling, I was made to feel as though the situation was my fault. The lack of empathy and understanding was disappointing, to say the least. A professional and patient-centered approach would have gone a long way in addressing my concerns and making me feel heard. While I understand that dental procedures can sometimes come with complications, the way my concerns were handled left me feeling frustrated and unsupported. I hope Dr. Sanjeevan takes steps to improve communication and patient care in the future.

Fantastic experience: Always A1 accomodations, the staff and the Dentist are very proffessional and the service is always great, after getting my teeth cleaned it takes me a little while to eat cause I don't wanna get them dirty again, plus Dr. Sanjeevan is very pleasant to the eyes and is great at his job, my husband and I have been going there for 9 years and don't wanna go anywhere else

Fantastic experience: I have been averse to going to the dentist most of my early years. However, since going to North Dayton Family Dental they have alayed all of my fears. While I appreciate all of the staff, I am especially fond of the customer (person) focused attention that Penny exhibits and the highest level professionalism from Dr. Sanjeevan. There have been several dental hygienist from within this organization who provided focused personal attention on me, not the job. For that, I am extremely grateful. I highly recommend them for all of dental health concerns. You can tell them that Ralph sent you and give them my heartfelt regards. All of the above is still in effect. Fantastic experience: This was my first visit to this practice. From the wonderful lady that scheduled my visit to the also wonderful dentist that treated me resulted in a great experience. My family has found a dental home. Will not be going anywhere else in the future. Was seen again and wow, experience was even better. Rachel gave me excellent care. Dr. Greeted me upon my arrival by first name. How wild is that! Can't believe it took me all these many years to find these amazing professionals.

Fantastic experience: I have been going to NDFD for some time now and I have never had a bad experience. The staff are always friendly and I am usually in and out within 40 minutes. I have never had the experience with being corralled into multiple chairs before getting a service like other dental offices. I am immediately sat in the chair as soon as I get there. I have recommended them to friends and family if they needed a new dentist and they have echoed the experience.

Fantastic experience: Update: 6/5/2024, I so enjoy coming to North Dayton Family Dental. Everyone is always so kind, and always filled with good conversation and laughs. Had to have another crown replace and once again the care was amazing and quick. Excellent choice and I highly recommend. 5/2023, This Dental Office was such a blessing to me. I had an urgent dental need and had been searching for a couple days looking for a dentist that would accept my dental plan. After many calls, only to be met with some unkind and in one case very unprofessional individuals, I found North Dayton Dental. I called on a Friday and was able to be fit in the following Monday. They did not accept my dental plan, but had one of their own that was very affordable for my needs. The service provided, from the return of my phone call by the most pleasant Office Manager to my visit with the Dentist himself, was nothing short of amazing. I have had some unpleasant visits to other Dentist in the past, to the point of actually developing a fear of going. Their kindness was very comforting and I actually look forward to continuing my care. The office is very clean and the atmosphere was calm. It truly was a great visit and experience. Thank you Ms Penny for fitting me in on such very short notice. There is not enough kind words that I can say about the office. Truly a job well done!
