Negative experience: when I arrived for my cleaning today. I was not informed that I would be having a different hygienist. I’ve been having my teeth cleaned by the same hygienist for over 20 years. I would think it would at least be a courtesy to let me know that I would be seeing someone different this day before I arrived and I sense you have that ability since you sent me multiple reminders and texts in regard to my appointments Since you asked for my opinion, I’d be interested what you’re gonna do to correct this in the future

Fantastic experience: Wow, what a wonderful practice. Brent was the assistant who immediately turned my anxiety into ease. Dr Ulfy was thorough and as friendly as she was professional. Lottie’s exuberance made an intense deep gingival cleaning not only bearable but kind of fun! Considering it had been decades since my last visit, my teeth were in surprisingly good shape, despite some recent pain and inflammation. 10/10 recommend!

Fantastic experience: Dr Leah and her entire office staff were incredible. I live in Florida and my fixed retainer fell out on a work trip in Rochester and Dr Leah squeezed me in and took such great care of me. She was very gentle and had a soft touch. Honestly felt she did a better job than my orthodontist office back home. I highly recommend this practice and Dr Leah for all your orthodontist needs!!

Fantastic experience: This was our first dental appointment with A Smile to Grow with! The greeting at the front desk was very friendly and the wait to be seen was short! The dental hygienist was personable and thorough! We had X-rays taken and an exam by the dentist! She was also very friendly and thorough! She did cancer screening, which our previous dentist had not done in years! Overall, I give this practice a 5-star rating!

Fantastic experience: I arrived a week early with my son for his first visit to the dentist ever and even though we were not scheduled for that day, they saw that my son was very disappointed not to be able to see the dentist and made time to see us. They were so kind and understanding and explained everything to me and him as they were checking him out. They were very enthusiastic and encouraging at every step. Best visit ever!

Fantastic experience: 10/10 I am so pleased with this office. Our first visit required Xrays and Dr. Swey was so kind and reassuring to my kiddo who was a little nervous due to previous unpleasant dental experiences at another practice. Our next visit required 2 cavity fillings with Dr. Khan, who was absolute phenomenal. No tears, no pain, no fear. So kind, such patience and informative to his little 6 year old patient. Office staff and dental hygienist were also top notch. Thank you all

Positive experience: Lottie and Ann are great…always tell me what I need with prices.. think I’ve been there over 20 years. Didn’t enjoy kids just walking in.. had more than 3 come in.. Delays my procedures and make her run late.. never had this issue with the old office..there needs to have something maybe enclosed for privacy

Negative experience: Not the same office it used to be. Once Dr. Kelley retired everything has been awful with this office. We have been patients for a very long time almost 21 years and they canceled my kids cleaning that had been scheduled for 6 months the night before and then only offering a reschedule of July, stating the reason for the reschedule was due to the hygienist unexpectedly quitting probably stressed from this poorly managed office.

Fantastic experience: Super patient with my autistic son. They made him laugh and played with him and let him hold the tools. He felt comfortable and they didn’t push him to do anything he wasn’t ready for. He left with a huge smile on his face and happy to come back for his next appointment.

The Dr and hygienist explained all the options with all our concerns in mind. They were also great with our 3 year old! It made the 90 minute drive well worth our time! So thankful we found them!

Positive experience: Dental hygienist was friendly and thorough for communication. The practice recently changed dentists. Usually the former dentist would stop by each cleaning visit but didn’t. It’s not the end of the world but it was a reassuring part of the practice. There were however, 4 staff when I went to checkout. Two of which had to deal with a mother that had a lot of scheduling conflicts. I waited 10 minutes and finally said I would call later only to tell me then they could check me out. The old practice was very efficient and got you out very quickly. I was not happy that it took me saying that to get service.

Negative experience: I brought my kids in today for their scheduled appointments. After searching for our appointments they realized they were in “another screen” because ever since moving locations, they “have not been put back in the system for all insurances”. “Someone should have told you that. It has been tough for everyone” - THAT’S IT. THAT’S ALL THEY HAD TO SAY. This appointment was scheduled after they moved locations. Obviously at some point patients with certain insurances were moved to another place in their system, and that list could have been notified. I even showed them the text confirmation for my appointments, to which the receptionist “hmm that’s interesting”. Incredibly poor experience. Lack of sincerity for the inconvenience. Will be looking elsewhere.

Fantastic experience: This was our first visit at the new location. Dr. Lisa was just amazing with my 4 year old’s dental extractions. I couldn’t have asked for a calmer or smoother experience. Thank you!

Fantastic experience: A smile to Grow With is a pediatric dental office that I would recommend without hesitation. They recently relocated to a new location which is nicely lit and has a very welcoming waiting area for children. They've retained the same friendly and welcoming staff (from reception to hygienists). The two times I have been there with my daughter, we have had Miranda as her hygienist and she is great with my daughter - thank you Miranda for doing what you do. Their new dentist practitioner, Dr. Swey was really awesome with my daughter as well and she's VERY young which leads me to believe that my daughter will be able to grow up with the same dental family that she was introduced to as a baby. Thank you everyone at A Smile to Grow With for your kindness and professionalism.

Negative experience: My 16 month old visited recently for the second time and unfortunately now has a new fear of getting his teeth brushed. There wasn't much patience or interaction with him as to get him comfortable with them sticking things in his mouth. The hygienist and dentist also seemed to be okay with the fact he was screaming and very upset after he was held down to have his teeth brushed. The team seems to be knowledgeable, but we will search for another dental practice that makes sure their littlest patients feel comfortable and calm.

Fantastic experience: Josette is absolutely amazing. My daughter is nonverbal and on the spectrum. She has struggled with dental appointments for 8 years. Josette made sure we have consistency and made accommodations specific to my daughter’s sensory needs, and she’s finally sitting in the chair, opening her mouth and is calm. Josette goes about and beyond and we’re so appreciative.

Fantastic experience: A Smile to Grow With is the place to take your child for their dentistry needs. They’re so patient and kind, especially with the littles who can be a handful. I recommend them to everyone I know with children. Quality care and a place where they can see your child grow up because you won’t want to send your child anywhere else. I only write reviews for top quality care/service and this is a place that absolutely provides that.

My eldest child is a college student and still prefers having their dental services in this clinic! Also - plenty of special needs accommodation and thorough understanding of each client’s needs.

Fantastic experience: I recently took my 6-year-old non-verbal son to "A Smile to Grow With" after deciding to change dentists due to our previous experience with a lack of accommodation for his special needs. I’m so glad we made the switch! The team at "A Smile to Grow With" was incredibly kind, patient, and understanding. They took the time to meet my son exactly where he was, making the experience comfortable and calm for him. By the end of the appointment, he left the office smiling and even bouncing with happiness, which is such a relief compared to the usual stress we’ve encountered at other offices. I highly recommend this practice for any parent with a child who has special needs. The care and attention they provided made all the difference!

Fantastic experience: It’s always a great experience going here for our children’s dental needs. The biggest highlight is the care the team takes with ensuring the kids have as little trauma going to the dentist as possible. We were advised with our 5 yo son to have him undergo general anesthesia for the dental work that needed to be done to avoid any traumatic experience for him. They have a mobile anesthesia team that works with them and that team is very kind and caring as well. They go through everything they’re going to do and what to expect, etc. My daughter had to have her teeth pulled forward due to an underbite and they made her completely comfortable with wearing the head gear and whatnot. It was so easy. The whole team works very hard for our kiddos and takes an enormous amount of pride in what they do and they’re extremely good at it. I highly recommend this team!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Goldie is our daughter's dentist. And she has been really patient and attentive with our daughter who is still non-verbal. The staff are also friendly and accommodating. Highly recommended for parents with non-verbal kids.

Positive experience: I am unsure about whether my kids really do a good job cleaning (I KNOW they don't), or the hygienist rushes through the cleaning just to move on to the next child in line. I don't think my kids' teeth are good because I beg them to brush and floss, and they still don't floss. I have to say that the hygienists are nice, and some are very sweet individuals.

Fantastic experience: I have been taking my kid here for a few years now and so far the experience has been flawless. His cleanings are easy, quick, and they have never pushed any kind of treatment that was excessive or unwarranted. The facilities are nice, clean, and never overcrowded. The staff is kind and welcoming and my kiddo doesn't dread the dentist office at all. Scheduling is also easy and I always get multiple reminders about upcoming appointments which makes me way less anxious about managing our schedule. I highly recommend them.

Negative experience: My daughter went for a cleaning today. I take her three times a year, paying one cleaning out of pocket because I think it is important. I took her in at 4:30 and she was done by 4:50!!!!! Really In that time, the hygienist also as poke with me and said she noticed a filling coming loose, which opened up opportunity for a cavity to creep in. The filling was put in by this practice only two years ago!!! The hygienist said it is not unusual for fillings to come loose. I’m 56 years old and still have my original childhood fillings, obviously done elsewhere. When we went to schedule an appointment to take care of it, I was presented with the almost $175 bill (after insurance). I questioned why I would be paying for a filling they put in, did not seal properly and started to crumble. The receptionist was upset at my question and referred me back to the hygienist who said, “this is not atypical.” She showed me my daughter’s cray from 4 MONTHS AGO at the last cleaning, that shows the issue!!!!! If the issue was present at the last cleaning, why wasn’t anything said? Did they have to wait another couple months to get past it being covered by the original filling expense??? I was told the office manager or doctor would call me the next day. Two full days have passed with NO FOLLOW UP CALL!

Fantastic experience: We are so happy to have found, A Smile to Grow With, to be the dentist for all three of our kiddos(5, 7 & 9). To have kids who actually get excited about their appointments, speaks volumes. As parents, we appreciate the convenience of scheduling all appointments together, the cleanliness of the office, the friendliness and professionalism of the staff. Yes, we highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: My son (who is now 4 almost 5) wouldnt even sit in chair at first, let alone get his teeth cleaned. Through the patience of both Dr. Kelley and Dr. Goldie along with the amazing talent Miss Amanda (hygienist) have we are in a successful 6 month cleaning routine and truly look forward to each and every visit!! 15/10 reccommend!!

Fantastic experience: My daughter's first time at dentist was with a smile to grow with. I really doubted they'd get into her mouth to see anything let alone clean. Also feared someone would lose a finger. To my surprise our dentist had full success all the way around with minimal tears or tantrums. She showed me a great method of getting it done at home. I was 100% impressed and thankful. My son now goes there as well! I'm so happy I found this place Overall staff has been great. Cute prizes for the kids. Able to book appointments within reasonable amount of time (unlike my dentist who is so booked out my cleanings are spread 9 months apart ) Overall: Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: We usually always have a pleasant visit to the dentist thanks to the wonderful people at A Smile To Grow With. We would like to especially thank Debbie for being easy going and really nice to our child during the whole visit. She was very patient with our child considering he came in right after class and did not have time to clean up/brush before the visit. She was very gentle because I rarely hear my child not complain about cleaning his teeth. It was a good visit and the place was clean.
