Fantastic experience: Started coming to Elmwood Dental after I decided to get hybrid implants two yrs ago. I'm so glad that I took this journey for getting my smile back. Everyone is wonderful from the start to the finish. Thank you all so much!

Fantastic experience: This was my first visit to the practice! I was greeted with a warm and welcoming staff! I don’t know her name, but she was friendly and engaging! I then worked with Teddy, who made me feel at ease as he took x-rays and photos. What a wonderful young man!

Fantastic experience: I've been a patient with Elmwood, specifically Dr. Kayleigh Comfort, since about 2018 and hands down she's the best dentist I've had in my life. Sadly my teeth need a lot of attention and work but Dr. Comfort and her assistant always makes visits as painless as possible and keeps a reassuring positive attitude through the whole appointment. It's the kind of top tier service that makes you think twice about moving away from Rochester.

Fantastic experience: Always the best in professionalism !! Staff are top notch and friendly. I have my teeth cleaned there and have had three implants with a possible root canal or fourth implant for a cracked tooth. Wouldn't have my teeth taken care of anywhere else. Highly recommend !!!!

Fantastic experience: I had a 10/10 experience this morning at Elmwood Dental with Dr. Khan! I needed 3 cavities filled (more than what I planned) and she was so kind, professional, and thorough. She pulled up my X-rays on a large screen and compared them with real-time photos that she had just taken of my teeth. She explained the benefits of the suggested procedures and mentioned that there is sometimes “gray area” in dentistry that requires good clinical judgement - and Dr. Khan provided just that. I felt safe and comfortable in her care. I also brought my 8 year old daughter with me and Dr. Khan interacted so kindly with her. To pass the time, she gave my daughter a fun writing prompt. My daughter began writing and then excitedly asked if she could read us what she wrote about her favorite planet. It was just so thoughtful. When we left, my daughter said “I really LOVED your dentist, mom”. To which I replied, “‘Me too!” Going to the dentist isn’t super fun, but Dr. Khan 100% made the experience. Her assistant (Kate? Kat?) was also so wonderful! She took extra care with the suction (to not pinch my lips) and even wiped my face when water dripped down my cheek. Thank you so much Dr. Khan! I hope I don’t need to see you in the future, but if I do I am thankful it will be YOU!

Fantastic experience: My routine cleaning was great as always. Ryan was on time, greeted me with a kind welcome and was very professional. Went over all my options for the visit and explained why was recommended. Checkout was very friendly and quick too. A positive experience!

Fantastic experience: I have been a patient at Elmwood Dental/implants since 2023! I have full mouth upper and lower implants, which I’ve been very satisfied with! When I walk I’m the door for any visit I’ve always been treated like I was the only patient there!!! Today I had my cleaning and, as usual, it was a great experience!! Veronica is my hygienist and absolutely amazing at her job. As someone who has had many negative experiences in the past with hygiene appointments, I can honestly say this was the best experience I have ever had. If you are someone who is anxious to go to dental appointments for whatever reasons, I would implore you to give this office a try. I am so glad I switched from my previous office to come here. I will also add that the doctors here are absolutely amazing. They talk to you in a way that makes you feel very confident in your care. They give you all your options and don’t try scare tactics with you.

Negative experience: I was going to this place for check up and cleaning. Almost two years ago I noticed a mass rise in my gum. The dr said it’s fine as long as it’s not getting worse! A year later my connected tooth got loose bc of gum recession and I need to do surgery and still not successful ! That Dr should have told me to see periodontist back then to check the issue not waiting for getting worse. I leave this practice unhappy.

Fantastic experience: I have been coming to this practice for my dental care for 15 years. They are always attentive and professional. I never spend more than 10 minutes in the waiting room. They are very efficient about sending reminders about my appointments through texts and emails. I highly recommend them!

Her technical expertise, combined with her fabulous personality always make my day (and we’re talking about going to a dentist’s office here, lol!!). Bravo to Amanda and Elmwood Dental. Please give Amanda regular raises because she is in a class by herself. She also would be a great mentor to junior (and experienced) members of her profession because her technique is transformative.

Fantastic experience: I have just completed my Invisalign journey with Dr. Missy Baleno at Elmwood Dental, and I cannot say enough about how it was the most incredible example of patient care that I’ve ever experienced as a patient from start to finish. Dr. Missy and Michelle were by my side as educators, advocates, and with an exceptional level of skill, attention to detail and compassionate care throughout the process. My objectives and concerns were tended to with the highest level of professionalism, and the time dedicated to ensuring I was completely satisfied and comfortable throughout treatment was absolutely phenomenal. Dr. Missy is both approachable and relatable, which immediately puts yourself at ease as a patient. Expectations were set every step of the way, and I was completely empowered as a patient. To say I enjoyed the process was an understatement. The process FAR exceeded my expectations and the results were outstanding. It was truly a “wow.” If you are at all considering Invisalign, Dr. Missy Baleno and her team at Elmwood Dental absolutely set the bar. I have not regretted it for a moment and it was the best investment in myself. I feel beyond fortunate to be in their care.

Fantastic experience: ASK FOR DR. DALY! He’s seriously amazing! I got a procedure done today and it took 5 needles of numbing. I normally have major anxiety and almost PTSD with dentists due to previous procedures at other clinics but Dr. Daly did great! Thanks to the numbing gel and his technique I barely felt the first 4 needles going in. I felt the 5th one but it was very tolerable. He was super calm and gentle despite me shaking for the entire appointment due to my own fears and coming off of adrenaline. He was also quite patient with me when I needed to take breaks! I am actually rather excited for the next time I get a cavity! Thank you Elmwood Dental and Dr. Daly!

Negative experience: I only gave 2 stars, I'm new to this company and was looking into getting a nightguard, due to the practice i go to do not offer digital impressions, I was told about elmwood from a friend of mine father. Making an appointment was easy, I arrive the desk staff are nice, I was called back, no review on why I was there, I EVEN ASKED IF THEY HAD A SAMPLE OF THE NIGHTGUARDS THEY OFFER THEY MAKE OR THEIR LAB! NONE at all! IT was.like so uncomfortable to me. Prior to my visit the women who made my appointment knew what I needed. Usually they go into what they will be doing, what's next, they address the medical item you will be getting, they shownthe sample of it warranty, etc no one ever asked why was I here nothing. Just scan, pay & get out! Bare minimum of what service's your paying for, answers are always a wait time. If your paying for anything especially medical & dental it should be discussed with the patient. I can not getan imagine or file due to the software, I realized I was never given a receipt for what I paid for only my credit cards receipts, Sasha she sent me my transaction. last review I wrote was stated I never been there.i have and I have the receipts, amd my name is different from the review. Thank you, I will wait on this guard to arrive and see where it goes from.there.

Fantastic experience: I want to thank Everyone, the entire Elmwood family…for their constant kindness and care! Whether I was on the phone, or in person, I was treated like part of their family. I needed a tooth implant. I first met with Dr. Frank Lamar. He explained each step of this process. His positive attitude, and confidence gave me hope. I previously had two implants for the same tooth that were unsuccessful, from another Practice. Next, I was BLESSED with Dr. Jim Lamar. Throughout my procedure, he constantly asked me how I was feeling. As he remained completely focused on his work. Dr. Jim and his team were Always upbeat. My healing went well because of his extreme Talent, and Perfection. Then I had the privilege of having Dr. Alex, Alejandro Sanchez, who to me was cosmetic specialist. Dr. Alex is an artist. He worked endlessly, with perfection. He brought in Daniel from the lab, to be sure that my implant color, size, and shape matched my smile. Daniel, along with Amanda paid attention to detail. Much extra time, and effort went into getting such a Beautiful end result. I also want to thank Tracy, who had much patience with me understanding where to write this review. My son and I have been patients of Dr. Kayleigh Comfort Daly and her husband Dr Michael Daly for years and I have nothing but good things to say. It crazy their names say it all “Comfort, Daly”! Because that’s how I feel when I’m in their chairs. When you receive novacaine and don’t feel the needle, THAT is something special!! I refuse to find another dental office whether my insurance covers or NOT!! I’m not willing to part with them. Yup ,I wait for reimbursement, that’s how much I love this office. Negative experience: My first appointment at Elmwood dental was great, I did my x ray and everything was great, but my regular person left (Lex) she was awesome, but the others where just plain mean and rude, telling me I should be missing any appointments (which was beyond my control) then they did extra stuff without my knowledge and charging me extra money I had no clue about, then send me a bill and after I ask if I can pay payments? You thought I owe the irs! So as of this year? I haven't returned to them, maybe if Lex was back i would but overall after she left? It was a nightmare

Fantastic experience: Came to Elmwood Dental because my Dentist retired and the people who took over his practice I wasn’t too thrilled with. I came to Elmwood after checking out some reviews and they weren’t too far from my home. I have to say it was the best experience for me. I had a loose tooth that needed pulling and a partial needed a tooth added. Everything was done in a timely manner and the best part my insurance paid for most of it. I have had other work done since and as always I wasn’t disappointed. The staff from the receptionist to the dentist were very helpful ,knowledgeable and just very nice.If you are looking for a dentist try Elmwood Dental. You will be glad you did.

Answers my questions, lets me know if what she's doing is new to the practice or to my personal care. She's personable, as well; asks about my family and enjoys seeing cell phone photos of my granddaughters! I'm quite happy being an Elmwood Dental patient.

Fantastic experience: Elmwood Dental is wonderful! They run the office efficiently, friendly staff and high quality dental work. They follow up to make sure you are ok after a procedure. Dr. Comfort (Yes that is her real name), Dr. Daily, and Dr. Jim LaMar have all made going to the dentist much more tolerable.

Fantastic experience: I had an appointment recently for xrays and imaging for a new patient consultation with the dentist and Ashley did an absolute marvelous job. She was professional and was very personable. She made me feel relaxed and comfortable. She listened to my concerns and was reassuring. I look forward in a couple weeks to meet with Dr. Khan to review my records. Very pleased also with the front desk. Jocelyn was very nice and helpful.

Positive experience: Point: This practice is beyond wonderful. The people are very good at each of their duties. They make me feel like a family member, not just a patient. They are generous with their time and expertise. The concern for my well being is over the top. They always make me feel as if I am their only patient. Counterpoint: The wait time to get in the chair from the waiting room needs a little work.

I have never had to wait and am often called back a little earlier than my scheduled appointment. Dr. Frank (Sr.) was my first, childhood dentist - adulthood and was excellent always. The tradition has remained; it's hard to find this level of quality care. Highly recommended!

Positive experience: I arrived a bit early, but was taken back very shortly. My cleaning and other treatments went very efficiently, as well as the check by the doc. The only thing was after we discussed what was best, somehow my next visit did not get scheduled. I didn't realize until I had left and this is clearly a very easy fix.

Fantastic experience: I don't drive so I could walk or uber to 10 place within 5 minutes of my home but I uber 20 to 30 mins outta my way to go to this dentist, these guys are the bees knees, they are super helpful super knowledgeable, they know the dentist is expensive and will do anything they can to help you, their also completely transparent on pricing and there are no hidden fees, these guys are my dentist for the last 5 or 6 years now, elmwood in my opinion is probably the best dentist in Rochester.
