Fantastic experience: I went for my six month dental appointment today. Kathy cleaned My teeth. She is a very gentle and kind person Dr. Sawka is Wonderful. Right away he makes you feel comfortable and at ease. Which is very important to me. Finally, I have a dentist who I really like everyone in the practice is so nice and thoughtful.

Fantastic experience: Just a quick note to say that Dr. Sawka and the staff at Hopmeadow Dental in Simsbury, CT are exceptional in the way they treat patients and how they make their patients feel; anyone who has any fear of going to the dentist should head to Hopmeadow Dental and that fear will be overcome immediately. I have been going there for years, and even though I now live over an hour away I still won't go anywhere else. No better treatment or results anywhere!

Fantastic experience: This dentist has been a joy so far. Recently, I had a crown come loose over a weekend. I called them on a Monday morning and one hour later, they got me in to re-glue the crown with no charge. Previous appointments have been great as well.

Negative experience: Kathy, the dental hygienist was great. She was very thorough, efficient and pleasant. Dr. Sawka did his check-up and was his usual personable self. I encountered a lot of difficulty talking with a person in order to reschedule an appointment. Also, as I left, I was extremely unhappy to be presented with a bill for almost $500 for services performed in 2024 and 2025 where insurance was not paid. Now, it will be extremely difficult to get these paid. This is no way to run a business.
