Avon Oral, Facial and Dental Implant Surgery

Fantastic experience: This is my 2nd attempt at a reply. I hope this one goes through. I had a very pleasant visit with Dr. Hayek and staff. I was well informed and taken care of. My extraction was quick and painless. Follow up by phone the next day was right on schedule. I am still doing just fine. I still have a question, Dr. Hayek. Was a bone graft done? And if not, will that affect a future implant at that location? Thank you in advance for your reply. Respectfully, Jeff Barber

Fantastic experience: I just got out of surgery with IV sedation a few hours ago for my top wisdom teeth out and coronectomy on the bottom two and I was absolutely terrified at first because I went through sedation before and it was scary for me. They put me at ease immediately the nurses were extremely kind and helped me calm down so fast . The nurse who gave me the IV did an amazing job and I did not even feel the IV. This experience with sedation this time I felt I was in a peaceful sleep and I woke up in no time . I do remember waking up at the end and continually thanking the nurses for how kind they were . Thank you so much everyone! Now I’m hoping my recovery goes smooth

Negative experience: So disappointed with my experience here and I didn’t even get to go to the first appointment. I had set this appointment up just about a month ago. They sent out referrals on their end and I have my son’s pediatrician the heads up. I get a call today at noon that they didn’t receive the correct referral (which they said they received last week) and decided to cancel my son’s appointment for Monday…it’s a Friday. By the time I even had a chance to call back they were closed. I am feeling so utterly defeated after thinking I found a trustful and competent office to handle my 16 month olds lip tie and to have it be cancelled with no notice is unprofessional to say the least. I am so disappointed they waited over a week to even inform me they had the wrong referral, this all could have easily and quickly been rectified if communication was had. I am upset because now I have to wait even longer to have this rectified when he already has his two front teeth and I don’t want them getting affected.

Fantastic experience: I went to the office of Avon Oral, Facial & Dental Surgery to have a tooth extracted and small growth removed. I was concerned about how things would go, never having had a tooth pulled before. I was using a walker, and staff person Stephen very graciously came down to the parking lot to help me get upstairs, and later brought me back down to my car. And all with a smile. WOW!! On the phone, and once I arrived, front staff, Cho, Kaylee, Stephen and Michelle, were all extremely accommodating, and went out of their way to get answers to my questions, and to help me anyway, they could.. When I came into the procedure room, Dr. Gabriel Hayek and nurse assistant Billie, put me at ease and were very supportive. The tooth proved to be a bit more challenging, but Dr. Gabriel Hayek, quickly got the job done with ease. I have rarely experienced the kind of care these providers gave. I am happy to advise that I did not have any pain, just some soreness for a few days. The providers and staff in this office proved themselves to be extremely skilled, knowledgeable and service oriented. I am happy to highly recommend them for any services they provide. They honestly are wonderful, and I am more than pleased with the outcome of their work.

Fantastic experience: About 30 years ago DMD Stuart Lieblich replaced my front tooth with an implant. The professionalism of the staff and DMD Lieblich as a surgeon was un matched. Point and fact when my son needed his wisdom teeth pulled, I told him cancel that appointment and call Avon Oral, Facial and Dental Implant Surgery. Again amazing results and treatment he was called the next day and the staff check to see how he was doing. That's a staff that cares about the patient and what they do, when was the last time a doctor's office called your cell or home and checked up on you ? So having DMD Piatsu retired and DMD Lieblich Pass away (RIP) I meet DMD Gill well 30 years later I didn't have any expectations as a return customer. When I came to the first appointment I was greeted and made to feel like a regular patient. Feeling comfortable and confident I was getting the best possible dental care Dan Gill DDS first had to find my records then find the hardware which they don't use anymore to repair the implant. Dan knocked it out of the park finding both the records and the parts. A short time later the repair appointment was made with little to no pain and the cost was reasonable. The day after I recieved a call asking how I was doing if I had any concerns. I was completely happy with the entire process from beginning to end and highly recommend Avon,Oral ,Facial and Dental Implant Surgery. For me and my family there is only one place to go, Bravo and 5 stars for exceeding a patient's expectations. Jeffrey T. Negron

Fantastic experience: I’ve been here twice and I couldn’t recommend them enough. It was my first time getting my wisdom teeth taken out and it couldn’t have gone better either time. Smooth healing process, hardly any pain afterwards whatsoever. Incredible care team over there!

Negative experience: Became ill after procedure…heavy mold smell detected on rainy day appointment…have been with fever every since…would not except secondary Champva insurance…needed to pay before procedure…this was not excepetable by agency when speaking on it today as this should have not been proper procedure in collections of payment.

Negative experience: Discrimination if you are on husky. They're taking new patients unless you you're on husky sorry that is discrimination would not recommend

Fantastic experience: I had an emergency situation where I needed to had a molar extracted right away due to severe pain. The team at Avon Oral, Facial and Dental Implant Surgery were able to get me in right away and extract the molar so that I was out of pain and on the road to recovery. They were very helpful, supportive and walked me through every process with thoughtful care and kindness. I’m very thankful that my dentist recommended them and I would highly recommended them too!

I visited both the Glastonbury and Avon office and highly recommend Dr. Gill and his group. My family and I will certaily return for future work.

Negative experience: Went here for an extracting . The dentist left part of the tooth in my mouth . Tried several times to get resolved with no luck . Would not recommend this place . I had to have an additional surgery to have it removed somewhere else . Other meantime they are giving me the runaround and trying to make lame excuses .

Fantastic experience: The surgery went very smoothly. There were no complications. Everything was well explained prior to the surgery and during the surgery. All post-op instructions were reviewed and a copy was given to me for home. Office followed up the next day and were there if I had any questions or concerns. Dr. Fletcher was great. I had her to have my second wisdom tooth pulled out because of pain from an infection and she just made the whole process so much easier and answered any questions we had, as well as the other staff were very nice! I didn't feel much pain at all during the procedure and after, 100 percent recommend! The third and 4th extractions also went really well too, I highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Gill and staff were excellent in helping remove a mucocele from my lip. They were courteous, kind, and personable. The doctor explained the procedure every step of the way. Healing so far has been painless, and they even called the next day to follow up. Very happy!

Positive experience: The office is welcoming and comfortable (I went to Avon). Dr. Hayek was great and the surgical staff was fantastic. Special thanks to CJ for your last minute help. The reception person that assisted me multiple times made me feel like I was really annoying him whenever I called. I left multiple messages asking for Dr Hayek to call me to discuss my procedure and none of them were delivered. When I called on a Friday in extreme pain asking to speak to the nurse because my tooth was infected he picked up the phone and told me that they were closing soon and I should call back on Monday. Everyone else there is great. I was pleased with how my procedure went.

Fantastic experience: I cannot thank Dr. Hannan & Avon Oral for such a smooth easy process! I had all 4 wisdom teeth removed on a Friday (2 being impacted) I was in the office and in the car heading home within an hour! Minimal swelling, minimal pain once the numbness wore off. They gave me all the tips, tricks & things to make a smooth recovery at home! I was up & at it the same day of removal too! From my first call inquiring, to the consultation, to procedure day each person in the office was so kind, so easy to work with & truly made someone who is petrified of any dental work so at ease! Couldn’t recommend them enough!

Positive experience: My biopsies by Dr. Hayek were painless and went well. It’s been 10 days and he never called me with my results. I got a message in my chart a week ago. I’m still waiting for a phone call.

Fantastic experience: As usual the care at Avon oral facial was excellent. From the front desk to the exam and treatment room and the follow-up phone call from my surgeon Dr Hannan they were 100% professional, thoughtful, and very solicitous of my comfort. Again I was very impressed by the level of thought and consideration Dr hannon put into my case. She has been in contact with the neurologist that is treating me for a separate condition as well as conferring with my regular dentist about what to do that would produce the best result for my rather complicated situation. I was also impressed that they worked to fit in my follow-up appointments if only for 10 minutes to see that everything was going okay. It is a very reassuring thing for the patient you can be sure.

Fantastic experience: Just had a great 1st visit experience here. They were willing and able to fit me in for a wisdom tooth extraction with Dr Hannan with short notice. Even though it was a battle to get the tooth out she did an amazing job. I wasn't even swollen that night and needed very little pain meds afterwards. 12/10 highly recommend this business and thank you again for helping me.

Fantastic experience: Obviously visiting here is not something you would choose however if you have to this would be my choice. Everyone here from the front desk to the nurse to the doctors is friendly compassionate and very helpful. My visit with Dr. Hannon was painless, she explained everything, was patient and caring. They also have a sense of humor much needed at times. I can't say enjoy but do relax.

Fantastic experience: Thank you, Dr Gill, for relieving the worst pain in my life. After 3 nights of no sleep and maximum Tylenol he removed a difficult molar. No pain since even from the surgery. HIs office staff was great in getting me in and the nursing staff was most professional.

Fantastic experience: I was referred to Dr Hannah by my dentist for a tooth extraction. She reassured me and explained I had a choice of being awake or asleep I chose the later, because of my anxiety and history of poor dental care. I would highly recommend Dr. Hannah who put me at easy.

Fantastic experience: I had two molars extracted yesterday by Dr. Hayek and his team. Everyone here is so kind and informative. The staff at the front desk make for an efficient check in and scheduling process and the surgical team made sure the entire procedure was explained thoroughly and with compassion. I felt taken care of from start to finish, not once did I feel any judgement. I’m writing this review after a follow up phone call where I was asked about my pain levels today and given more information on what to expect in the next few days. The office was clean and easy to locate and the out of pocket cost was less than I had anticipated.

Fantastic experience: Great surgeon, very kind and considerate woman. He doctor and her 2 assistants did everything they could to make the tooth extraction as comfortable as possible. The doctor is the consummate professional. I especially like Steven at the front desk. He is spectacular - the most welcoming person - his personality makes the patients feel safe and cared for from the time they go through the door.

Fantastic experience: I can’t say enough about how well I was treated by everyone that I was involved with at this dental practice while I had a cracked tooth extracted AND, months later an implant placed. The staff were as anyone would hope them to be: kind, courteous, informed, and caring. Dr. Fletcher is excellent! He does great work and more importantly, he talked me through the procedure every step of the way. It easy my tensions and helped me relax. The follow up calls were helpful to insure that I was happily on the mend, too! Fantastic experience: Had a very painful wisdom tooth. Went to Avon Oral. They were able to see me quickly. Found the whole staff from receptionist, assistant & surgeon both professional, courteous & efficient. Thanks to Billie & Dr. Mark Fletcher. They were able to do the extraction the same day. Very informative during whole process. Told me what to expect before, during and after surgery. Glad that tooth is gone. Received a follow up call the next day. I give them & the whole experience and A+.

Negative experience: Horrible! Never felt that much pain during an extraction before. The dentist was rude, uncaring and harsh! I have EXTREME anxiety! I was told to be quiet! I would scare other patients! I will NOT be seeing him again!

Fantastic experience: Considering it was a tooth extraction, which isn’t fun for anyone, my experience with Dr Fletcher and the team at Avon OMFS was exceptional. The staff was wonderful right from the initial call. I was educated on the process, and all steps were explained in detail. Dr Fletcher took time to discuss my options and is very knowledgeable in his field. If you need to have a tooth extracted or other oral surgery I would recommend you call Dr Fletcher and his team.

Fantastic experience: This is delayed but we had a fantastic experience with Dr. Hayek over a year ago for my young daughter’s mandibular distraction surgery at CCMC. He was very thorough in explaining the complex procedure so we felt at ease. Dr. Hayek was very responsive during the post op period when we had questions and was beyond helpful. On top of that, the procedure went as smooth as we hoped for and the results were great! It was a multi appointment surgery and we just did a one year follow up. I highly recommend Dr. Hayek for any cranialfacial or oral surgery procedures!

Fantastic experience: We can't say enough wonderful things about Dr. Hannan, RN Glenna, and the entire staff. From the beginning, when we called to book the first consultation, to the very last follow-up appointment, we were treated with the same incredible experience. Our kids had their wisdom teeth taken out by Dr. Hannan, and each had a different set of challenges based on their mouths. Dr. Hannan gave us confidence the first time we consulted with her as she was honest, thorough, upfront, kind, compassionate, and a wealth of information. Glenna was exceptional in treating our boys with a special sweetness that always let them know that they were being seen. She was on top of everything and always made sure we had every bit of information to make the experience positive. We were fortunate to get to know most of the staff, and each person was just as lovely as Dr. Hannan and Glenna. I can not recommend this office enough and will come back if anything arises in the future. It is rare to find a surgeon's office where you truly feel supported and cared for throughout the whole process; this was a level of professionalism and compassion that not only made us feel at ease but also gave us confidence in their expertise.

Dr. Gill patiently explained what the procedure would entail and further explained what he was doing as the tooth removal took place. Fantastic experience: Doctor Fletcher removed #14 molar and installed an implant with sinus bone graft. I chose him because he has reviews which credited him for excellent work with implants. The reviews in my opinion are 100% accurate. More than that he is a "no pressure" down to earth professional guy.
