Fantastic experience: I went to JP Dental for the first time last week, and I had a wonderful experience! When I called, the front desk was able to get me scheduled for an appointment the very same week, which I really appreciated. During my visit, Erika was absolutely wonderful! She made me feel comfortable and confident about my teeth, did a thorough cleaning, and was incredibly kind and patient throughout the appointment. I also met Dr. Chung, who was also very welcoming and kind! Unlike my experiences at other places, I'm actually looking forward to my future dental appointments! I highly recommend JP Dental

Fantastic experience: I visited JP Dental just to have a filling repaired, but I was very impressed with the overall experience. The dentist was extremely kind, gentle, and thorough in examining my dental condition. He also took the time to give me helpful advice on how to maintain healthy teeth. During the treatment, he was very gentle when working on my tooth, and even though I did not receive anesthesia, I felt no pain at all and was able to receive the treatment very comfortably. The assistant who helped the dentist was also very careful and gentle, making the entire procedure feel comfortable and relaxed. JP Dental truly understands each patient’s needs and provides the appropriate treatment with professionalism and care. Throughout the visit, I felt that they paid close attention to making sure I was comfortable. JP Dental is a high-quality dental office with excellent skill, kindness, and attention to detail. I highly recommend JP Dental.

Fantastic experience: First off, ashley was AMAZING. Very sweet girl and made sure i was comfortable for my xrays. Dr. Chung was also wonderful he was very attentive and you can tell the caring they put into each patient. Also something I noticed was how sterile and thorough he was. Fantastic experience: I called the office to schedule a cleaning and they were able to get me in within a week. Everyone in the office was friendly and I was only in the waiting area for about two minutes. The dental assistant took my x-rays and asked if I was comfortable throughout. The dentist did a thorough cleaning and suggested a couple things for me to keep an eye on. I will definitely return in the future.

Fantastic experience: I found this practice through my insurance and I am so grateful to ALL the staff at JP dental! After not having insurance for a few years, I knew I needed a bit more work done. They are very flexible with scheduling and we're able to reach out when they had openings that worked with my schedule. They made sure I was comfortable and doing OK during my cleaning and my fillings, and as a person that has had some negative experiences with dental offices, the extra care meant a lot to me! Fantastic experience: Dr. Jill Park did my initial consultation and we discovered my previous dentist had NOT been cleaning my teeth properly or filling cavities! I was a bit hesitant hearing this at first but she showed me the Xray and during my deep cleaning the hygienist showed me the plaque they were scraping off my tooth and near the gums! Although I was shocked to know my previous dentist had not been doing their job, I was so appreciative JP Dental was honest and transparent. They truly care and educate their patients on dental hygiene. I had fillings and 3 of my wisdom teeth removed by Dr. Paul Chung and I was so anxious, kept needing to take breaks, tried the laughing gas didn’t like it and changed my mind, asked to keep spitting - basically internally freaking out. Dr. Chung and the staff there was kind, patient, and chill, never made me feel bad or pressured me through the process. They are professional and caring. Even after, I called and texted while the office was closed about my worrying of blood clots and bleeding and the staff were compassionate in keeping me calm and answering my panicked questions. I am so grateful to find a genuine dentist with affordable prices! Thank you for your care!

Negative experience: They are liars. Each time I called them before my cancellation and I was told that hey okay we will be waiving off your fees. Then they kept charging me for no show, I guess that’s how they take gonna of money from their customers, it’s a money grabbing scheme. Beware of them. Also they will take X-rays and won’t even notify you beforehand if your insurance covers them or not. Great work on money grabbing guys. I wonder how they have never ever been called out. It’s quite easy to say hey we don’t remember. Seriously!!

At JP Dental Hartford, we always check patients’ insurance coverage before procedures. Unfortunately, insurance companies can change the details of coverage at any time, and those changes often happen at the patient’s expense. We completely understand how frustrating this is, and we are always on our patients’ side in helping navigate those challenges.
Regarding X-rays, we only take what is necessary to provide an accurate diagnosis of gum health and teeth conditions. Without them, it would not be possible to deliver safe and effective dental care.
With scheduling, our office has a strict 24-hour cancellation policy to ensure we can care for all our patients in a timely manner. Even so, we did write off the first no-show fee as a courtesy but you no showed and cancelled multiple times over a period of six months.
We never want our patients to feel that they are not being treated fairly, and we’re always happy to discuss any concerns directly so we can resolve them together.

Fantastic experience: New to the area and had tooth pain/needed a new dentist, found JP Dental and so happy. They got me in asap for a consultation and were so kind and helpful. Fantastic experience: Staff are always nice and friendly. Dr was able to make me a permanent retainer and when I had a problem with it on 2 occasions he was able to fix with no problem and came up with an alternative solution. Haven’t had any issues since with my retainers and it’s been more than 6 months.

Fantastic experience: Most people when it comes to going to the dentist mentally it’s an experience so people don’t usually go or less it’s something really bad and by the time that happens it’s more costly and the issue has gotten worse… personally speaking I recently found out I have some issues orally that needs to be taken care of. Which lead me to start looking for a facility that does the work that I needed. Upon searching for a facility I came across Jp dental.. my first appointment u know going to a new place and having them looking into your mouth everything for me was overwhelming, however my experience was absolutely phenomenal professionally thumb’s all the way up, the building is well kept everything, when u open the door to walk in to the actual office you are greeted before u even speak which is big for me .. The staff was extremely friendly and knowledgeable… I’ve had the pleasure of being seen by two amazing knowledgeable hygienist .. I want to take the time out to shine a spotlight on one young lady in particular Miss Ericka when I tell you this woman is in the right job! I told Erika all my concerns and how nervous I was and she looked at me and said I got u. And did she ever , by the time she was done explaining to me what was what, majority of my anxiety was gone I still had to do my procedure so I was still I little nervous . when we started Erika not only checked on me every chance she could but she also educated and explained what was happening and before I knew it I was done.. Personally speaking she’s a God sent at least she was to me .. Erika u are such a beautiful soul continue to do an amazing job it is very much appreciated

Negative experience: During my UN PROFFESIONAL visit, I found that the information provided by the dentist was inconsistent and did not reflect a clear understanding of the proper removal process. Additionally, the quoted price seemed arbitrary and was not explained in a way that justified the cost. Given the importance of this procedure, I expected a well-informed assessment and a transparent breakdown of pricing. Unfortunately, the lack of clarity and expertise in addressing my concerns left me questioning the competence of your office in handling such cases. As composite veneer removal requires precision and knowledge I would have appreciated a more thorough explanation of the process, and reasonable cost estimation.I urge your office to review its approach to such procedures and ensure that patients receive accurate, well-informed guidance. Transparency in pricing and expertise in treatment discussions are fundamental to patient trust and quality care. I was under the impression that I would be receiving a consultation worth the $84 fee I was expected to pay. However, I was extremely disappointed to find that the dentist had no prior experience removing composite veneers and was not even aware of the reason for my visit. It is unacceptable to charge patients for a consultation when the provider lacks the necessary expertise or fails to acknowledge the purpose of the appointment. Had I been informed beforehand that the dentist had never performed this procedure, I would have never booked with your office.

We made every effort to accommodate your confrontational behavior, from your initial phone call and scheduling your consultation to the moment you left the office without paying the consultation fee. You stated, "I am going to my car to get my credit card" but did not return.
Yes, the price does justify the cost because removing permanent composite veneers without damaging the underlying tooth structure is like stripping old paint off a delicate antique wood table. It can be very time consuming to remove multiple set of veneers on the upper and lower teeth.
Just as you must carefully sand away the paint without scratching or gouging the wood, the composite material must be meticulously removed layer by layer using precise tools to avoid harming the natural enamel underneath. If done improperly or too aggressively, the integrity of the surface could be permanently compromised.
Our team always discuss procedures honestly and ensures patients have a clear understanding before making any decisions.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely amazing. I wish more people had the compassion, understanding, and humanity of these people. I had a badly fractured tooth and all other dental facilities either charged me an absurd price, had me waitlisted for weeks, or were unable to extract my tooth. So when I walked in to my appointment I excepted to be disappointed based on my previous experiences with dentists. I was wrong. Even though I came in 30 minutes before closing, after they saw the severity of my situation they extracted my tooth quickly and painlessly. Above all, as a struggling college student, the pricing was unbelievably low compared to the other facilities, I truly feel blessed. I am happy to report than I am no longer in pain thanks to these wonderful people. Most definitely recommend to anyone and will be sending people your way when it comes to dental issues. Fantastic experience: I have been a regular patient at JP Dental since they opened at this location. As someone who does NOT enjoy visiting the dentist, I only have good to say about my experience with Dr. Chung and Dr. Park as well as the hygienists. Earlier this week, I met with Erika for the first time. She is an excellent hygienist who helped relieve my anxiety. I thought she was exceptional. Everyone in the office has always been extremely competent, professional and caring.
