Fantastic experience: West Hartford Dental is a very warm and friendly place. The staff always greet you with a smile as you enter and leave the office. My experience have not changed I receive the same care and service with each visit. The care and concern they provide is exceptional the office is always clean and sanitizers are displayed outside the door and inside the offices… The service is A1 and I will recommend them to anyone in need of a good Dentist, for any procedure. The service is all around GREAT and PAINLESS. Each of the staff members are great but I saw Kelly today and I want to let her no how much I appreciate her working with me today… It was a job well done Kelly… Thank all of you⭐️⭐️⭐️

Fantastic experience: I was there yesterday (June 2026) for the first time, I had to get a root canal in 3 roots. Everyone was excellent and I was comfortable through the whole process. They answered all of my questions and explained everything in detail. Based on my experience, I would recommend them to anyone.

Dr. Phadnis was so kind, gentle, and funny. It made my experience in the chair actually fun instead of scary. Negative experience: Invisalign patient. I was initially placed under the care of one dentist who left before my case was completed. As a result, my appointment with her was cancelled with less than 4 hours of advance notice. I was then reassigned to Ukti Phadnis who completely redid my assessment for Invisalign. After waiting 4 weeks, my appointment was again cancelled with just a few days notice because the new trays had not arrived. After another nearly 2 weeks, I still had not received any follow-up from the office on the status of the trays or to reschedule the appointment they cancelled. The lack of care and concern for me as their patient is obvious. I do not recommend coming here for your dental needs.

Positive experience: I’m a bit confused as to whether to stay at the practice or not. Except for my first visit I’ve gotten very inconsistent care. Everything seems to be rushed and not really paying attention to my teeth. A large cavity went undetected at my 6mth visit and now possibly a crown. I was told a had a #6 pocket not a cavity! I’m hesitant to bring my dentist phobic husband, to get inconsistent care is not an option. I’m going to wait and see- not convinced !

Negative experience: STAY AWAY!!! This place is absolutely HORRIBLE! My original appointment time was for 11am for a basic cleaning but they called and asked if I could come in at 10:40am which I agreed to. I arrived a little early and didn't get called in until 11am. The hygienist said that I was due for x-rays so I asked her when was the last time I had them done and she said that she doesn't know so I asked her how she knows they were due and she said because they checked to see if insurance would pay for them and they would. She was horrible with doing the x-rays, had difficulty with the equipment and took forever. An hour in and I still haven't had my teeth cleaned. The hygienist said that we had to wait for the doctor to come in and take a look before she could do anything. After waiting for about 15 minutes the doctor came in and at the same time another staff member came in and made a joke about my hair which didn't sit well with me as I'm already extremely annoyed at this point. All the doctor was interested in was upselling me on services that I didn't need to get more money. After the doctor and hygienist whispered to themselves the hygienist said that I need a different type of cleaning that might not be covered by insurance and that I might have to pay for it out of pocket and asked if I'm ok with that or if she should check with the insurance company to see if they will cover it and if so how much. I asked her to check first. She went to check and came back about 10 minutes later and said that my insurance company will only pay for 50% and that I will have to pay for the difference. I told her that I get my teeth cleaned twice a year and its covered 100% by my insurance company and then I got up and walked out. Even when I checked in they tried to get my consent to an upcharge. This place is all about squeezing every penny out of insurance companies and customers. Besides that the office is loud and unprofessional. The rooms are not stocked well with supplies as they had to come into my room and borrow material for another room. On the way out there was a person sitting in the office on the floor next to the desk just hanging out which I think was a staff member. When I got outside there was a lady that was talking to her mother and was very upset. I asked her if everything was ok and she said that she was just in the same dentist office waiting in the chair for 2 hours to get some work done and they didn't do anything but she paid them $600 out of pocket for the work. I will be calling my insurance company as well to inform them about possible fraudulent charges.

Positive experience: I had a really great experience at WeHa Dental. Specifically with the Dentist who came into see me after my cleaning, Meghan Rascius. She was so knowledgeable and helpful about all the questions I had and was able to point out some things with my dental health that I always noticed but never had a dentist point out for me. She also made the effort to even email me certain oral exercises, and inform me how Invisalign would help.

Negative experience: If i could give this place 0 stars, TRUST ME i would. They Put composite all over my front teeth leaving my smile extremely yellow, didnt wait till my numbing was through before drilling away at a cavity, terrible work & you can tell they just want to get you out of their chair as quickly as possible. This work was terrible, im directly pointing at DR. PHADNIS for doing a TERRIBLE JOB and leaving me with the yellowest ugliest most composite-covered teeth ever. (By the way, composite doesnt come off, its a type of filling and they just had to use the most yellow one. I had been going to them for my whole life.

Negative experience: Highly highly disappointed. Definitely changing dentists. I went in for a routine check-up, only to be pressured into scheduling multiple unnecessary appointments. It became apparent that their focus was on increasing costs, not providing genuine care. Even more disturbing, I've noticed a pattern in their tactics: they appear to single out patients who may have language barriers or who are more vulnerable, such as elderly individuals, young adults, etc. This approach seems intended to exploit people who look like "easier" targets.Also I have received numerous emails after visiting them where they are actively encouraging patients to leave positive reviews in exchange for incentives, like Dunkin Donuts gift cards. Isn't this the same as buying reviews??? If you’re considering this office, be very cautious. This kind of behavior is unethical, and patients deserve better than to be taken advantage of by a provider focused more on profit than on quality care. Seek a second opinion if you're unsure about their recommendations, and be wary of overly positive reviews. I see there are many positive reviews and I wonder if its due to the Dunkin gift cards.

Negative experience: I urge caution with West Hartford Dental Group. I was scammed out of over $1,000 by them. Last May, I went in for a routine cleaning, but they insisted I needed a deep cleaning that would cost around $2,400. They claimed my insurance would cover half the expense and pressured me to pay in full upfront, assuring me I would receive a refund later. After the procedure, while still under the effects of anesthesia, I was asked to sign a document. At that moment, I wasn’t in the right state of mind, and I believe it's inappropriate for businesses to have clients sign papers after drugging them. During my follow-up appointment, I inquired about the refund and was told it was being processed. A month later, when I checked again, a staff member abruptly informed me that my insurance had denied the claim. When I asked if there was anything I could do, she was unhelpful. I noticed many five-star reviews online, but I've received emails after my appointment to encourage patients to leave those ratings in exchange for Dunkin' Donuts gift cards. I’m unsure if this practice is legal or considered bribery, but it raises questions about the legitimacy of their reviews (I have screenshots). After speaking with others in the area, I've learned that I’m not the only one who feels misled by this establishment. While they may provide good dental care, they seem more focused on maximizing profits, even if it means pressuring patients or incentivizing reviews. I'm not certain if their actions are illegal, but I recommend being wary of this practice, as my experience was quite dishonest

Fantastic experience: I have only had one visit, but I am pleased with everything so far. Scheduling was easy, and the staff are helpful and pleasant. Those have been the primary shortfalls of other practices I’ve been to over the years.
