Fantastic experience: Simsbury Children’s Dentistry has been a thoroughly outstanding dental provider for our 9-year old daughter. We are very happy to report that every employee we have encountered throughout the last couple years has been warm, kind, caring, and educational—I knew so little about what kids’ dental needs are, and I am grateful to have learned a great deal from Dr. Azadpur and her colleagues. On Friday of last week, we met Diane for the first time, and she was terrific with our daughter: she showed herself to be affable, knowledgeable, and attentive—she is yet another excellent care provider that Dr. Azadpur has on her team! We had the great fortune of having had Shy in the clinical setting previously; we feel very happy with and very confident in both hygienists for our girl. And awaiting us at the onset has often been the kind, welcoming face of Susan’s, and then after our appointment, the helpful and kind faces of Jill’s and Sheila’s. We would recommend Simsbury Children’s Dentistry extremely favorably for any parents in the Farmington valley (and beyond) who are looking for excellent guidance and care for their child/children.

Fantastic experience: We had a dental emergency after my 2 year had a fall on his bike. The office was able to get us in as new patients quickly. They were absolutely fantastic. I received a tour of the office and was introduced to all employees before our appointment started. The staff was so friendly and informative, talking us through everything they were going to do. My son, who had never had a dental appointment before, was happy and smiling throughout the whole visit. Their demeanor and approach put both him and me at ease, making the whole experience fun. He’s been telling everyone about his visit to the dentist and he can’t wait to go back.

Fantastic experience: I can’t say enough good things about our dental experience with Samantha. She is so patient, understanding, and walks our son through exactly what is going to happen. She doesn’t hesitate to repeat herself or remove her face mask so that he can better understand her. As an adult who has a fear of dental cleanings, I’m so glad that both of my kids continue to have such a positive experience every 6 months!

The staff does a wonderful job working with children of all ages, from younger kids to teenagers, and they make each visit a positive experience. Everyone is friendly, patient, and professional, which helps my children feel comfortable and at ease. Appointments are run very efficiently, and we are consistently seen on time. The team is thorough and takes the time to explain everything clearly, answer questions, and ensure that nothing is overlooked. I truly appreciate how organized, timely, and attentive they are. It is clear that they care about providing high-quality service and making families feel well taken care of. Fantastic experience: We’ve had an excellent experience here with three kids all getting wonderful care. One thing that’s so amazing is I often bring other kids with me to their siblings appointments and they are so accommodating and understanding of having to manage multiple kiddos at once. The waiting area and the overall attitude match little kids perfectly. I’m amazed at the lengths they go to make kids and their adults feel comfortable and everything is thoroughly explained at whichever level is needed. Multiple times they’ve gone above and beyond to make sure we get great care for not just their teeth but their overall health which is deeply appreciated.

She kept in touch with me about getting an earlier appointment for my son who needed an acute treatment. Susan also checked in on how my son was feeling after the treatment. Fantastic experience: I have been taken my 8 children to Simsbury Pediatric Dentistry over the past 13 years. My young children get SO excited when it is time to go to the dentist and ask often when it is their turn again!! The care is exceptional! Emergency visits are done with great care and at a speed I would never expect during off hours. The office staff is fantastic as well, with billing done very well. I highly recommend Dr. Azadpur and her office!!!

Fantastic experience: I have been coming here for a long time and my experience has always been great but I recently had a new experience with Diane and she was great. I loved the fact that she explained everything to me and helped me understand really what was going on in my mouth. She also treated me my age and gave me new knowledge that will help me in the future!

Fantastic experience: My family began visiting Dr. Azadpur's practice in January of this year, and our experience has been unlike any other dental or orthodontic care we have ever encountered. At our first appointment, Dr. Azadpur performed a scan that revealed my son’s nasal passages were nearly closed and the roof of his mouth was significantly vaulted. She also noted weak facial muscles and poor tongue positioning. This explained several long-standing issues, including audible mouth breathing, sleep apnea, sinus congestion, drooling, daytime fatigue, and poor articulation. Dr. Azadpur recommended palate expanders, myofunctional therapy, and a referral to an ENT specialist that she knew would address the issues. After only four weeks of the recommended exercises and using a Myo Munchee, I have already noticed less drooling and vast improvements in his posture, articulation, and ability to keep his lips sealed. After years of being bounced between many providers who only addressed isolated symptoms—misattributing his fatigue to inattentive ADHD or his sinus congestion to allergies or his drooling to teething—it is a relief to finally have a diagnosis that addresses the root cause. His palate expanders are now in, and we have his ENT appointment next week. I am incredibly excited to see his continued progress. I have shed tears of joy and gratitude for meeting Dr. Azadpur. She has significantly improved the quality of life for my nine-year-old and my other two children who also see her. She is thorough, kind, and views the body holistically. Her staff is equally amazing, and I cannot recommend this practice highly enough.

Fantastic experience: My son is a sophomore in high school and plays varsity basketball. He has braces and during his first game of the season he got elbowed in the mouth- causing him to get pulled out of the game. His coaches both said it was mandatory he wears a mouth guard due to the physicality of the game. Since then, he has worn a mouth guard every game. He had a very physical game last week and ended up getting another elbow to the mouth, and this time he was slammed to the ground hitting his face on the gym floor. Thank god he was as wearing his mouth guard. He had a dentist appointment the next day at Simsbury Pediatric Dentist where they said he would have had an emergency service if he wasn’t wearing his mouth guard! Advice to any basketball player- wear a mouth guard!!! Once his braces are off he will get a custom mouth guard from his dentist!

From the moment we walked in, the entire team was intentional, patient, and incredibly thoughtful in how they approached him. What stood out most was their attention to detail. They didn’t rush a single step. They took time to explain, model, and gently introduce each part of the visit in a way that felt predictable and safe. They followed his lead, respected his comfort level, and created an environment where he felt in control. For the first time in a dentist setting — we had a successful visit with zero tears. That alone speaks volumes. As a Behavior Analyst, I was exceptionally impressed. Their approach naturally incorporated so many evidence-based strategies that support children — especially those who may be anxious, sensitive, or neurodivergent. It was clear this office understands child development and truly prioritizes the emotional experience of their patients. I would wholeheartedly recommend this practice to any caregiver looking for a compassionate, developmentally attuned dental team — especially families of children who may need a little extra support to feel comfortable. We are so grateful and already looking forward to our next visit. ✨

Fantastic experience: My family has been so happy with Simsbury Pediatric & Adolescent Dentistry since we started there as patients five years ago. The practice makes you feel comfortable from the second you step foot in the office, thanks to the most friendly front desk staff, all the way to when your children are getting their teeth evaluated and cleaned by the sweetest, most knowledgeable dental assistants and dentists. About a month ago, my son had to have two baby teeth extracted to make room for his adult teeth. He was incredibly nervous about the procedure, but Dr. Marvasti-Sitterly and her assistant (Shy) kept him calm and happy the whole time. His mouth healed beautifully and a few weeks later, he came in for a routine cleaning/check-up on the removal site. My son told me that he was hoping he would get the same dentist and assistant for the check-up because they took great care of him. They made such an impression on him that he looked for their comfort again. This practice knows how to work with kids and create positive dental experiences for them so that it’s a breeze to bring them back. I can’t say enough about Simsbury Pediatric & Adolescent Dentistry!

Fantastic experience: What a wonderful practice! Susan at check-in gave us a friendly tour before our first visit, and every staff member was lovely and welcoming. My 3 year old had an extremely positive experience at every turn, and we left smiling and grateful for Dr. Marvasti and all of the people who work there. Anyone looking for a pediatric dentist in the area should absolutely call and become a patient here.

Negative experience: I would like to share our experience. My daughter had an exam, x-rays, intra-oral pictures and two surface filling done by Dr. Azadpur. The next day my daughter showed me an area what later I was told it was an eruption cyst. When my daughter showed me the area I called the office right away and I was told to bring her over. We then saw Dr. Marvasti who prescribed antibiotics. What did not make sense to me is that she showed me the cyst on the intraoral pictures taken a day before. I asked why was this not mentioned to me, she apologized and could not give me an answer. When my daughter finished the antibiotic a week later, an excruciating pain started and had to call the office again. The office was closed on Wednesday but the voicemail said in case of an emergency to leave a message and someone would call us back but nobody did. Thankfully we found another pediatric dentist who saw my daughter that afternoon. Then, 36 hours later I got a voicemail from Simsbury pediatrics saying that I should call the office because the tooth needs to be extracted. It was very disappointed.

Fantastic experience: Simsbury Pediatric & Adolescent Dentistry is such a warm and welcoming atmosphere for families of little ones! We were greeted immediately upon arrival by the friendly women in the reception area. The office is decorated with bright artwork and fun books for the children to read while waiting for the Dentist. Our son had a great experience both times there with both the hygienist Cindy and the Dentist who is kind and full of knowledge and tips for us parents. The visit ended with a fun prize that our son picked out himself which helped make the visit memorable and have him excited to return for his next 6 month cleaning! We would definitely recommend.

The staff at Simsbury Pediatric Dentistry go above and beyond to make the entire experience comfortable and fun. From the warm reception from Susan and the team at the front desk to the inviting art and decor, our kids feel safe and relaxed. Dr. Marvasti was amazing and so kind and Sam the hygienist was extremely supportive and very gentle with our son. They even go above and beyond with our son, given his deafness, to be sure he understands every step of the process. Just amazing and highly recommend to all parents for their children.

We've been through cavity fills, crowns, regular appointments and each and every member of the staff makes sure that not only my children (most importantly), but that I am comfortable as well. Fantastic experience: We have been going to this office since my oldest child’s first dental visit and love them. The office is welcoming and the staff are knowledgeable, kind, and great with children. One of my children had a visible tongue tie that we eventually released with an in-office procedure. I felt very supported in the decision making process, we were offered some other alternative treatments, and they made the process as quick and easy as possible. Definitely recommend for children that may have anxiety around the dentist!

Fantastic experience: Outstanding practice of women doctors changing the way children view dentistry. My son literally jumps up and down when I tell him he has to go to the dentist. He loves the waiting room, even in covid times they had Disney channel on and he was thrilled. He loves the decorated rooms, the amazing flavors of toothpaste and mouthwash. (Marshmallow, Bubblegum or Chocolate? yum!) And there are tons of gifts, toys, stickers shed on him. They have an amazing staff and team and We are so grateful!

Fantastic experience: I like this dentist office because all the people there are super funny. They make it fun to go to the dentist. They give out prizes after, and a goody bag with a toothbrush. Fantastic experience: Great experience. We are new to town, and we came across this place as we were searching for providers online. So glad we did! The facilities are clean and welcoming (free wifi and coffee for parents!), the office staff members are helpful and attentive, and the providers were fantastic. Everyone took their time to answer questions from parents and kids, and the providers provided thoughtful and practical answers. In the past, I have come across providers who push unnecessary services to boost revenue. Not here! The recommendations and treatment plans were sound and practical - no pushing unnecessary services. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: Did you know that you need to take a probiotic when taking antibiotics to protect your gut microbiome? I didn’t learn that from TikTok, or even from my children’s pediatrician. Dr. Azadpur taught me that. She and Dr. Marvasti-Sitterly also taught me that I can strengthen my son’s jaw muscles by having him eat crunchier foods, as well as with a simple toy available on Amazon. Simsbury Pediatric Dentistry is not close to where I live, by any means, but well worth the drive for quality dental care. Highly recommend.

Dr. Azadpur is exceptionally gentle, patient, and truly understands how to work with children (and parents!) who may have dental anxiety. We 100% trusted her with our 7 year old son who needed major dental work under general anesthesia at CCMC. My 11 year old daughter proclaimed that the process of getting her cavity fixed was “painless and even relaxing.” My kids actually look forward to their visits now, which I never thought I’d say! We’re so grateful to have found such a caring and compassionate dental team. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a dentist who truly goes above and beyond.

Fantastic experience: I cannot recommend this wonderful place enough! I just took my son here today for his first visit. He is only 18 months old and gets shy around new people so I didn’t know what to expect. We were immediately greeted with the friendliest staff and we even got a tour of the whole office. Our dental hygienist, Shy, made my son feel so comfortable almost instantly. He loved looking at everything in the room and picking out his toothbrush and mirror. Dr. Azadpur was very personable and friendly too. My son allowed her to brush his teeth and examine his mouth which I was nervous prior to coming in if he was going to let her! We left the visit so happy and my son even said “fun!” as we were leaving. Not to mention it is extremely clean and I love that each child has their own room. I am still so thrilled with how our visit went and so happy I chose to bring my son here!!

Fantastic experience: My daughters had their cleaning this week and the office of Dr. Azadpur was so amazing to have suggested we do both appointments at the same time ! It was a great idea and worked out so well as we were in and out in under an hour and back to school. They area always excellent at communication/ offering cancelation apppointments and explaining everything during our visits. My daughters Mia and Sophia said they had a "great" time and loved their treasure chests for wiggly teeth and bags of goodies !

Susan and Sherri make every visit a fun one from the time you walk in until you leave—they are the absolute best. There is no better feeling than knowing your providers care about your children and will go out of their way to make them comfortable. From the moment we walked in, the staff were incredibly kind and thoughtful, especially knowing it was my daughter’s first visit to the dentist. They took the time to give us a full tour of the office and shared some interesting history about the practice, which made us feel so welcomed and at ease. Dr. Azadpur was absolutely wonderful. She took the time to explain everything in detail, which really helped me understand the process and put my daughter and I at ease. I really appreciated how engaged everyone was throughout the entire visit—every step of the process, from check-in to meeting with the hygienist and, of course, seeing the doctor, was smooth and comforting. Most importantly, they made sure my daughter was comfortable and relaxed the whole time. It was clear that they really care about their patients. Overall, this was just a fantastic experience, and I’m so glad we chose this practice. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: Our son did a face plant playing basketball and needed to be seen urgently. Despite it being 455PM on a Friday, they were happy to see my son and ensure his teeth weren’t going to fall out. I’ve literally never felt so genuinely welcomed in any medical office - this place is a total gem. They treat you like family.

Fantastic experience: We just had a great experience with our 17 month old daughter. We had her first cleaning scheduled for this month, but something happened and we needed to come in earlier for her to be looked at sooner. The office was able to accommodate an appointment for the next day and include her cleaning at the same time. Upon arrival we were provided an office tour with our daughter and met all the staff. Everyone was so nice and knowledgeable and showed great interest in our daughter’s comfort and care. Overall it was a great experience. I also appreciated Dr. Azadpur’s inquiry on airway development even at my daughters young age as appropriate care early on can elevate many problems later in life, and not all dentists have that at the forefront of their pediatric care. I’d certainly recommend the office/practice to any family!

Fantastic experience: My son has anxiety around doctor’s appointments. The first two visits he screamed the entire time, even though it was just counting and brushing his teeth. Dr. Azadpur and her staff were extremely kind and compassionate and made us feel safe there. By his third visit, he was able to get his teeth cleaned with no fuss!

They are always smiling, friendly and willing to help whether it's checking your kid in to see the dentist or rescheduling an appointment over the phone. The office is really nice and clean, and the waiting room also great which was great. I actually switched all of my kids to Dr. Azadpur after our experience with my infant daughter because we like her and everyone in the office so much. Highly recommend.

Dr. Azadpur has anticipated challenges and guided us through corrective action that has been helpful to our children’s health, speech and breathing. She is attentive and responsive.

Fantastic experience: We didn't have a good experience at a different pediatric dentist office the week before we came here so we were pretty traumatized when we walked in here. We were searching for people who understand how to deal with scared kids and are compassionate towards parents and kids. The moment I walked in I knew we were in the right place. The waiting room is well lit and has books and toys for the kids to play with. There are beautiful colorful paintings on the walls. Everybody was smiling. Everybody! We were given a tour and then brought back to the examination room. Throughout the visit they explained everything to me and my daughter. At one point she didn't really like the X-ray thing in her mouth and she stared to cry. They stopped immediately and wiped her tears for her telling it was going to be okay. The staff made sure they listened to both of us. Instead of those kind of xrays we went to the 360 X-ray machine that doesn't even touch her and she followed their instructions diligently to stay still. At no point did they separate me from my child. During X-rays I was allowed to stand on a blue square just far enough away. We successfully got the X-rays we needed which was a huge relief to me. I knew that they would most likely suggest surgery as well but I wanted that to be with an office could trust. I trust that folks. She does need to have anesthesia but now we have a plan with X-rays to prove what is needed with this dentist. This way we are not going into surgery with the dentist having cart blanche to do whatever they want to my child without my consent. I feel so relieved to have found a great pediatric dentist and staff. I would recommend this office to anyone with little kids and parents who have moderate to severe anxiety about the dentist!!!

Fantastic experience: My son needed a filling after an endodontic treatment on his front tooth and Dr. Azadpur not only placed the filling but also polished the tooth which helped it match the other teeth better. Fantastic experience: Dr. A got us in for an emergency first visit when my 17 month old tripped and chipped her tooth. Her staff was amazing, so welcoming (they’re Mom’s themselves or retired nannies, all very caring and loving), her waiting room has beautiful murals and plenty of books and little toys. Dr. A was patient, didn’t rush us, handed out Mother’s Day flowers after our visit and offered our little one a toy after she cried a bit during the sealant process. I can’t recommend this practice enough!

Fantastic experience: One star review is too generous for this absolute unethical doctor. She wanted to xray my daughter 6 weeks post initial ones “in case there were new cavities “. What’s even worse is that they offered us laughing gas when filling cavities. Luckily I discussed with my husband before doing anything (he is a physician) and he was extremely disturbed that another so-called doctor would recommend laughing gas for a child undergoing basic fillings. He also said xrays shouldnt be performed more than once every 6 months and even that is a lot for a child. You tell me if this doctor has children’s health in mind or is it all about the money?? They offered so many unnecessary things that I had to repeatedly decline, which made me highly suspicious and put my guard up. Don’t be fooled by the fake smiles. They’re condescending (as evidenced by their replies to parents in reviews), and go out of their way to send you out with a giant bill. Plenty of dentists nearby whose focus isn’t just making a quick buck, and who will care about your child’s overall health.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Azadpur and her entire staff are absolutely wonderful. The entire office and staff is so warm and welcoming. They treat all of us-my children especially- with such care and genuine kindness. Dr. Azadpur has a calm and soothing bedside manner, which really sets a comforting and relaxing environment for my children when they have a dentist visit. We love the entire staff, but Shy really stood out at our most recent visit. She and Dr. Azadpur were both incredibly patient and calm and really helped calm my anxious son. I can't speak highly enough of this dental office! We love Dr. Azadpur and highly highly recommend her and her office! 5 stars!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Azadpur and everyone working at Simsbury Pediatric & Adolescent Dentistry that I have met, have been kind, knowledgeable, compassionate, as well as highly competent. The truth is, as a parent, it's me who has a MAJOR phobia about the dentist, and as a mom, taking my kids to the dentist on top of my own visits to my dentist can seem like torture.
