Positive experience: I have been coming to see Dr. Chang for a few years now. He and the staff have been very helpful. Dr. Chang was very helpful and made the time to provide helpful dental information. I ended up going to a dental surgeon for an implant as they offered to help with codes and faxed insurance information, even though I was filing the insurance on my own. This helped to cover the costs involved. Communication has been a bit difficult over the past year with Live Well Dental. I was hoping that Dr. Chang would take care of the crown. I have not heard back for several months. We never saw anything in our email or junk mail. It is so unlike Dr. Chang to not follow up. Things have changed.

Fantastic experience: I appreciate biomimetic dentistry uses the safest materials and procedures. Like functional medicine, they find and fix underlying causes, and not just treat the symptoms. Grace, the hygienist, was very personable and thorough. I highly recommend Live Well Dental Center.

My previous long time dentist retired and I was definitely blessed to be welcomed as a new patient here. My hygienist was thorough, kind and proficient-a super experience; I love the ozone. It was a stress less visit and I'm elated to report my dental health is in good hands again.

They are very good at communication and once you are a patient with them they get you booked for any services you need quickly. It does take a while to get on their books for obvious reasons in that theres a high demand for a good holistic dentist. So you can be assured that this dentist is absolutely amazing at what he does. It’s worth the wait! My husband also goes to the same dentistry and has had a fantastic experience too. The staff members are patient and kind, the dental hygienists are knowledgeable and sensitive to your needs. They are also very thorough and helpful with your teeth. All in all, I would definitely recommend Live Well dentistry to anyone looking for a long term family practice that looks out for your teeth, your health, and your well-being. They provide educational resources for preventative care and proper oral maintenance/care. Love this place!!!

Fantastic experience: What a beautiful calming place of business, but the best is the care and attention to detail the hygienists give their patients! Explaining , showing and affirming their patients is so helpful for home care too! She narrated her work before and during the cleaning and checking each area, comparing to the last visits to see what needs attention and what areas are well taken care of. Dr. Chang checks each time and listens to the report of the hygienists. They recommend products if needed. I am thankful for their service.

I am a retired Boeing worker who unfortunately needed a tooth pulled… His equipment scanned my teeth and put in a temporary that looks great ! While it is kind of far to drive, we stay b/c of the great service. One suggestion I have: for the cash discount, please reconsider accepting back debit cards. The fee for debit cards is minimal. Dr. Chang was able to treat my young child’s dental filling needs without sedation or extreme interventions, and our whole family has been going there for years now. Fantastic experience: Our entire family is continually impressed with Dr. Chang and his entire staff! I first found his office after our dentist at the time determined that my husband was going to have both of his front teeth extracted and use a bridge, as the bone had deteriorated to the point that he did not think we could even do implants, (which we could not afford anyway). So I decided that I had to get a second opinion, and began looking for a biological dentist, since I thought/hoped they might have a different approach to offer. I picked Live Well Dental and Dr. Chang because of all the good reviews on Google, and I am so glad I did! He was able to eliminate the bacteria causing the bone loss, and work with us to slowly regrow the bone enough to be able to do root canals on the 2 front teeth. He now continually monitors them to be sure no cavitations form, which was always been my concern with root canals. He has since then helped all of us with all of our dental needs for the last 8 years, including handling some tricky work on my autistic daughter so that I did not have to take her somewhere else and have her put under anesthesia. He and his wonderful hygienist handled her work so well, and so patiently, keeping her calm and cooperative the whole time. I was so relieved and thankful!! One of the main things that we appreciate about his office is that they all take the time to really talk to you and help you understand everything. They must schedule so that they have plenty of time with each patient, because we never feel rushed, and yet we have never had to wait more than a few minutes when arriving for an appointment! So, to make a long story short, (oops, I guess it’s too late for that), I would highly recommend Dr. Chang to anyone looking for a dentist that will take their entire body health into consideration at every step of the way, which is very important because your dental health is so closely associated with your overall health! I wish more dentists understood this, but we are all very grateful to have found one that does! A big thanks to Dr. Chang and his top notch office and staff!

Staff are kind and welcoming, the office is clean, fresh and modern and the doc (Dr. Jason) really knows how to mix in facts/data with learned opinion so you can make wise decisions about your care. Scheduling and communications are electronic which makes things EASY.

Negative experience: My mom lost a cap from her tooth. She was a patient here and recently had a cleaning and an exam within the last year. She called because she was in pain. The receptionist was rude and disrespectful. She insisted my mom needed another cleaning and appointment even though she had already had one on file. She just wanted the cap fixed to get through the holidays because she was in so much pain. The receptionist, Sarah, was so rude she even hung up on my mom. This was confirmed when my mom tried to call back and reach her. The other receptionist said Sarah had walked away. When she finally called back, she told my mom they couldnt get her in for 10 weeks. Outrageous! My 78 year old mom did not deserve this treatment.

In any case I was wonderfully surprised. I was greeted by my hygienist, Rita who was nothing short of amazing. She was gentle, professional and also explained everything so well. She really helped in my understanding of dental hygiene steps that I could take which would improve my dental health. During our visit Dr. Chang came in to check on me and discuss my next appointment- he too was amazing; impressing me with his thoroughness and his approach to dentistry - it stuck me that he was saw the “art” in dentistry and I so appreciated our brief discussion. I can’t tell you how grateful I am for having visited Live Well Dental. I would give them more stars if they were available.

With the current COVID-19 pandemic his office has taken extraordinary measures to ensure patient safety and still maintain comfort and a warm personal experience.
