Going to the dentist has never been one of my favorite things, but this office makes the experience so much more comfortable and pleasant. Everyone — from the front desk staff to the hygienists/dental assistants to Dr. Timmerman — goes out of their way to make sure my comfort and understanding of any treatment are always a priority. The office itself is clean, welcoming, and comfortable, and I’ve always been able to schedule appointments within a reasonable timeframe and at times that fit well with my work schedule. I also really appreciate that they offer such a wide range of services in one place, including general dental care, Invisalign, implants, and even facial aesthetics. I’m extremely happy I found them and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a caring and professional dental office.

She took her time to get to know me and my situation + took my dental anxiety seriously. I was greeted warmly by the front desk staff, who were both professional and friendly. As someone with dental anxiety this helped ease my nerves instantly. Both Dr.T and Emily are incredible - knowledgeable, gentle, kind and take the time to explain everything clearly. I felt heard and cared for throughout my entire visit. What stood out as well was how they don’t try to “upsell” or pressure you into any unnecessary procedures and truly care about your long term oral health. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a trustworthy, compassionate and skilled dental team. I’ve finally found a dentist practice that I can stick with for years to come and will never go anywhere else but Blu dental!

Also I priced checked them to my other dentist I left in Lynnwood and they were cheaper . It was important to me because I need crowns and I have to pay 50% out of pocket . I ask to have the overhead tv turned off during their work, since it just plays ads. But it's not too bad, overall a pretty good office.

Fantastic experience: I have been with smiles dental for over five years now. I’ve seen them go through some employees, but even through their transitions, they have always shined through. My most recent hygienist, Linda, is absolutely wonderful. She’s extremely helpful and identifying where my weeks spots are in, taking care of myself, as well as giving me instructions, so that I can have better dental health. The staff is always very cordial and helpful through the payment process also. They understand the ends in the out of the insurances and what can be covered and what might not be covered. Always very thankful for smiles dental and will continue to use them to take careof my teeth

Negative experience: I’d love to have given a 5 start review!! The gal that cleaned my teeth was so nice! But after my appointment, I went to the front desk to pay my copay (I have insurance covering full cleanings, X-rays etc) but the lady said I have a zero copay. So I left! A few months later, I’ve been recieving bills from smiles for the cleaning appts for my husband and I. I called and the lady from the front desk said she will look into and call me about in about an hour. I didn’t receive a call back and I have been calling their office daily for the last week and a half..no answer so I’ve been leaving messages and have not recieved a call back. Disappointed in their lack of communication and charging me for all this stuff :(

Fantastic experience: Enjoyed my 6 month teeth cleaning today at Smiles Dental in Snohomish. Dental hygienist Linda was friendly and efficient and the X-rays and cleaning were done within an hour.

Negative experience: Nice people, but grossly lacking in quality and terribly inconsistent. A different hygienist and dentist nearly every visit (6 months).

Positive experience: So far I am very satisfied with the work done and I plan to schedule a cleaning once I’ve completely healed. My family also seems interested in coming here for future dental work after seeing what I had done. During the appointment I was startled a bit due to needing to change what was being done which made me feel pretty anxious. I only wish I was informed about the changes in procedure more clearly but throughout the appointment I was able to understand what was being done. I did ask if I could listen to music during my appointment so I could cope with my anxiety and they let me do so without any problems.

Fantastic experience: I have horrible dental anxiety. Idk why. I’ve never had anything bad happen, no cavities, nothing really. I told the hygienist there when I first walked in about my bad anxiety. She was so nice and helped to distract me. She told me everything she was going to do before she did it and explained what she was doing as she did it. She even told the dentist that I wanted any possible bad news filtered through her first. The place is clean. The people are nice and warm, especially for a dentist office, where I feel like it’s easy for people to not be. I appreciated that. The doctor was quick and nice when he came in to confirm what he saw on my X-rays. Nothing bad. Just teeth. I left feeling so relieved, like my teeth were clean and actually looking forward to the next appointment.

Negative experience: I’m not a fan of dentist and made that clear when I went in. They were very nice and understanding my first visit. But the next one was very different. I told the dentist that my previous dentist said it was sometimes hard to get me numb because my nerves were not in the normal places. I waited 45 minutes while the dentist gave me several shots. Finally they began to pull my tooth. His assistant was so disorganized that she was not prepared at all. She just ran around trying to find things. As the dentist began the first part was ok. Then when it came to pull the rest of the tooth he was having a difficult time getting it out. Than says “oh I see the problem there are 3 roots.” I’m thinking wasn’t that on the X-ray? The rest of the process was a nightmare. But to top it off I never heard from them to see how I was doing. This place sucks.

Fantastic experience: I made an appointment about 6 weeks out, but they were able to get me in the very next week instead. I loved that they texted me about an opening because it is difficult to answer my phone when I'm at work. Unexpectedly, I needed a more intensive cleaning than I was scheduled for, but they accommodated me that same day. The dentist was fantastic and the assistant was very sweet and took good care of me. I will be back.

This is a relaxing office and feel confident in making your appointment now!
