Caring Dentistry of Hazel Park

Negative experience: I went in for my bottom wisdom tooth that was impacted 16 days ago. During this procedure the dentist who was pulling the tooth was being guided by another dentist. It seemed to me that maybe she was new because he had to help her quite a bit. Not fun for me, the procedure lasted about an hour and a half. Throughout my healing a stitch got embedded in my cheek so I went in to get it pulled out. A different dentist than the ones who pulled my tooth out told me “It shouldn’t be hurting me that badly because it was barely attached to my cheek”. He told me this after I told him I was in a lot of pain. Fast forward two days later my cheek is swollen and I’m experiencing more pain than before. The dentist hadn’t pulled out all of the stitches from my cheek that were embedded and I had to do it myself. That being said, my cheek is feeling much better. I will say that the socket is healing fine.

Fantastic experience: The Doctor and the staff were beyond amazing they helped me in ways I didn’t know would be possible. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who’s looking for a good dental office.

Positive experience: I don't give 5 stars only because nobody is perfect. That doesn't mean that I found anything wrong. Everyone in this facility have been very nice from day 1. Also, I don't have insurance, so they have worked with me every step of the way. I have not had a problem with any of the work they have done so far and they are gentle!

Fantastic experience: I came here for the first time today. Genuinely, Every. Single. Person. I met in there was GOLD. I haven't been to a dentist in over 10 years and the amount of shame I was feeling had me internally panicking and readying myself for the "disappointed dad" tones and scare tactics. Not a single ounce of judgement or shame was felt. They were so informative, broke things down for me in a way I understood. Told me and SHOWED me exactly what the procedures would be. Elaborated further when I was scared of unnecessary procedures. (All of it is necessary, believe me.) I would HIGHLY encourage you to schedule here. I really wish I wasn't spiraling to the point of forgetting names. Lol But sincerely, thank you.

Fantastic experience: First my kids has been coming to this office for some time. They always say it nice. I go today and it was really nice. The young lady that took my picture was very sweet the dentist was awesome had my filling taken out well part of it one part came out. But she was awesome she was letting me know what was best but I had no pain after the medicine wore off. I mean none that a first for me . It was a pleasant visit shout to the receptionist and the team there.

Everyone here is so caring and gentle and will go out of their way to help you :) Dr.Nehal always takes her time to explain the procedure and her assistant Marseel is so gentle and and smart and makes you feel at ease and the front desk ghada always helps me and tries to get me scheduled as soon as possible, as well as the other assistants Chelsea and Nanssy. I came here 2 yrs ago bc I chipped my tooth. They got me an appointment asap .The bonding looked natural you couldn’t even tell where it was chipped at . Now I’m here 2 yrs later to get my crown and I’m happy with outcome . This won’t be possible without the best dental assistant Chelsea and best dentist Dr.Nehal.

Fantastic experience: Just had my tooth pulled by Dr.Sobl and the perfect assistant in Ms.Marseel. The only pain I felt was from the numbing medicine. Pulled my tooth in less than 5 mins without any pain. Wonderful!!!! Also Marseel is hilarious and a joy to be around. But watch her she likes to play alot

Fantastic experience: I love the ladies of Caring Dentistry. The Cleaning Tech/ Assistant Nancy is awesome and very patient and caring takes her time and takes her time explaining the steps. The other assistant Chelsea is one of the best ppl around. Always friendly and funny. But the real reason to come is the Dentist. She is caring, sweet, and always looking for a way to make or keep your smile great. Been coming here 2 yrs now and will go nowhere else. Also can't forget the front desk, they are always respectable and friendly

Fantastic experience: Felt very welcoming the first time I called and set an appointment the front desk Ghada set me up an appointment very quickly I also let her know that I have a new born and was scared of how I’d be able to get work done and she said she’d help which made everything so much easier. Dr.nehal and Chalsae and Marssel were very open and made me feel comfortable and also helped me with a payment plan I’d definitely recommend this dentist to any kids and people with pdsd. Fantastic experience: I go to the Hazel Park location. Dr. Nehal is wonderful. I had a terrible experience at a previous dentist and have a bit of the PTSD when it comes to dentists. Dr. Nehal has an amazing bed side manner and has been so very patient with me and my severe anxiety. I would recommend her to anyone, especially if you've had a bad experience somewhere else and have developed fear of dentists. She is very understanding and kind. She will work with you at your pace. The staff here is also wonderful, especially Marseel and Ghada. They make sure you're comfortable and happy and are also very kind with great bed side manner. I cannot stress enough how absolutely scared I was coming in here for the first time. After my last experience with a dentist, it was difficult for me to even make an appt with someone new. I let them know what I was going thru and they have all been so amazing. If you need dental work and are scared of the dentist, please give this place a try. They are awesome and you won't be disappointed. I wanted to add to my review, since I had another appt. Dr. Nahal fixed my front teeth and she made them look amazing. Again, she is so good with people who have anxiety about the dentist. The last place I went to, the shot in my gums hurt so badly but, Dr. Nahal did it in such a way, that it was just a small pinch. I am so happy with the results of her work and I don't think I will ever go to another dentist. Chelsea is also pretty amazing. She even held my hand. All the people here are amazing and very caring. I would give them 10 starts if I could. Thank you all so much for helping get me thru a rough situation and for restoring my smile. You guys rock!

Ghada is the receptionist I work with the most and she is always kind and gives courtesy calls, she knows my file and makes my experience feel personal! I used to be nervous about the dentist and had lots of negative experiences but I really love the office hope the staff never changes ❤️

Fantastic experience: Whenever I come into Caring dentistry for whatever service I need, I'm treated with the most respect by all of the staff there. The Dr. has a great staff to include Chelsea and the rest of the crew. They all make sure you feel comfortable and have what you need while you are there. I wouldn't feel comfortable going anywhere else.

Negative experience: My experience at this dentist office was the worst experience I have ever had. I came in polite and respectful as I should ready to get my teeth cleaned. The receptionist told me I had to have my documents sent over from another Dentist office. I’m on the phone with the other Dentist office and the woman sent my documents to the receptionist. The receptionist claimed she didn’t receive them, the team were not communicating well with one another aka filling each other in. There were four different people trying to relay the same information that I was on the phone taking care of having it sent over as they requested. I told the team they needed to communicate with one another because I’m on the phone and they continued to interrupt me while I was taking care of what needed to be done. The receptionist comes out of nowhere claiming I was late for my appointment and I can’t be seen. I was confused. I had been there for a lengthy time already, came on time, and I was getting my documents sent over like they asked me to. She got the manager. I said why ? Am I speaking gibberish or some sort? They proceeded to get the manager. The so called manager was the only black woman in there. She came from the back and said if you can get the documents sent to our email within 20 minutes I can see you. I said OK THANK YOU . Thinking all confusion was cleared now, NO, ANOTHHEERR lady comes asking to speak to me privately . Telling me once again that I need to have my info sent over or they can’t see me. I repeatedly let them know throughout all there shenanigans that I was on the phone getting it sent over , no problem. The lady of a completely different race then goes to say they don’t feel comfortable seeing me. They flicked me off, cursed at me, and called the police on me. I spoke to the police told them what happened. I found out the receptionist lied and said she didn’t receive my documents, when in fact she did. I will NEVER ever go back not only because it would be considered trespassing but directly because of the HORRIBLE customer service,discrimination, weak communication skills, and unethical behavior and decisions I experienced. I’m GLAD I can never go back because I would never go back anyhow.

Negative experience: This facility has been a disaster ever since I visited there for the first time. After merely getting an xray, they made me wait for so long that I departed without warning. Nobody inquired about me either. As though they were unaware of my presence. After almost a month, I called to reschedule. My appointment was scheduled, but they changed it and texted me to say I would be charged $50 if I didn't show up. I called them right away to get clarification, and they put me on wait for twenty-two minutes. When they called me back, they didn't apologize or try to fix it. Just wanted me to come in on the two days that followed even though I had just made changes for my appointment.

Negative experience: The worst service I've ever had. I made an appointment two weeks early because I was in pain and needed treatment. I waited 40 minutes for assistance and the assistant took my x-ray and found that I had a cavity, and that was all that told me to go home. The doctor overbooked the number of patients and was unable to treat the patient with professionalism. I looked for another clinic, and asked them to send the x-ray images, on top of that they sent damaged images that my current doctor was unable to read. I had so much inconvenience because of this consultation, working time and money lost. Now I have found real professionals and will continue dealing with them. Do not go to this place!

Fantastic experience: I had an emergency. I had a half of a tooth broken in my mouth. I was on Medicare Molina and I needed a crown to save the important 2nd molar used for chewing. No one would either take my insurance, could see me within a year or would not take new patients. They got me in the next day and my insurance paid for the . Not only that, they were very professional and nice. They made me feel at ease. If I could give them more than 5 stars I would. My daughter had a dental emergency today. As a new patient with Delta dental they got her in tomorrow! I highly recommend this Doctor , and the staff are a great close knit team who seem to really enjoy working with each other.
