Negative experience: Edit: changing my review to 1 star. They’re insisting on charging me a $50 late cancellation fee (I needed to reschedule with 36 hours notice); not a practical location for anyone with kids. I previously had a great experience with the actual dentist and hygienist so if you rarely need to reschedule, it’s a good place. But considering it’s mostly single family homes nearby, it’s not a very costumer-focused dental practice, at least from an admin perspective. —————- Had a deep cleaning. Dental hygienist was very thorough and considerate, explained things accurately, and very considerate of my comfort.

Fantastic experience: Everyone was wonderful. Explained everything that they were doing as well as anything that might be needed.

Negative experience: Do not use this dentist. They use deceptive business practices. I went in for a tooth extraction and they wanted to do an extra procedure. I said i did not want to pay for the extra procedure because it was optional. The staff told me they would contact my insurance and see if it was covered. I said if my insurance would cover the procedure I would let them perform it. They came back to me about 10 minutes later and said that my insurance had approved the procedure. Fast forward 6 months later and now all of a sudden my insurance won't cover the procedure and Swish dental is trying to collect the outstanding balance. They have even sent it to a collection agency that harasses me daily. At this point I will be filing a BBB complaint as well as filing a complaint with the Texas Board of Dental Examiners, and lastly a complaint to the Texas AG for deceptive business practices. Do yourself a favor and stay far far away from these people.

Fantastic experience: I was here for 3 composite fillings all in the same day. I was having some trouble with the numbing but the doctor and dental assistant were so patient, kind, and caring with me as they tried to keep me as comfortable as possible throughout the whole process. The front desk assistant was also very kind and welcoming! Please don’t hesitate to come to them for your dental checkups and procedures!!

Fantastic experience: They waited until I arrived for my appointment and I told them I was pregnant as precautionary to tell me that I needed medical clearance to get my teeth cleaned . Didn’t review my forms I filled out online before I showed up that stated I was pregnant . People take off work for these appointments . I had also called and scheduled and no one reviewed this with me . Edit: I called to speak to the manager and she called me back quickly . Explained that there is usually a pop up on the forms that didn’t show in my case and that she is going to talk to her company about that to ensure there is a warning of what’s needed in future cases . She also explained the receptionist was new and she gave her advice on how to handle going forward . I also had my cleaning done today and had a great experience with the staff.

Positive experience: I am usually afraid of going to the dentist but I had a great experience today. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the dentist was very thorough while also making me feel comfortable. Everything was explained clearly and painless. Highly recommend!

Negative experience: Never before had an auto cancel if you don't confirm your appointment via text. I set my appointment up via phone call and usually it's just that and done and you might get reminders or requested confirmations but I've never seen required. I wasn't warned and no one tried to call they just cancelled my appointment. I was very excited to get my retainers out so it was a pretty big disappointment.

Fantastic experience: I have been going to Swish for a couple years now and have never had a bad experience! All of the staff are very kind and great at their job. The offices all feel very clean and modern as well. The only thing that could be better is if they included free goodie bags with a toothbrush, toothpaste, floss, etc. like a lot of other dental offices do.

Negative experience: They have the worst customer service the manager is the absolute worst. I would not recommend at ALL

Making an appointment is easy, the visits are great and the staff always so friendly and well trained. Just today, another "no cavities" visit and I am 78! Just as proud as youngsters with a "no cavities" visit! Thanks Swish!

Fantastic experience: I was there for a 3 tooth extraction. Not only did I feel no pain, But both the dentist and her assistant were very nice, attentive, and professional! They made sure I was comfortable the whole time! For my first check up, I was very impressed with their technology! When they showed me pictures of my mouth on the screen, it looked very detailed, 3D, not you're traditional X-rays. I can tell this office keeps up the times! I hooked up my Bluetooth headphones to their TV and watched a Metallica concert on YouTube while they worked their magic! Also, the price I paid out of pocket was reasonable. I came to Swish cause my fiancee had nothing but great things to say about her experience now I feel the same about mine. Love Swish Dental!

Negative experience: I have worked in the medical field for over 15 years and have never came across an office who gives your appointment away if you do not select confirm on a text message. It seems like a ridiculous policy. It’s very easy to miss a text message during busy hectic work life. I took time off of work for this appointment I thought I had. Very dissatisfied with Swish Dental.

Negative experience: Unfortunately Not Even Worthy of negative 3000 stars: This corporation is NOT even based in the ‘good’ town of Hutto, Texas !!! I wanted to get full cosmetic dentistry on my bad teeth, the answer I received “I wish I could help you.” Now, Hutto folks, you decide, and my recommendation: “Run as fast as a powerful Hippo away, and hippos can run REAL fast, YALL !!!! And this: DO NOT TRY TO OUT RUN THESE POWERFUL BEASTS !!! YOU WILL NOT EXCAPE THEIR JUSTICE AT ALL !!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Negative experience: ★☆☆☆☆ I went to Swish Dental hoping to support a local business, but I regret it. While the staff seemed nice at first, their only interest was draining 100% of my dental benefits without explaining anything to me. They claimed I had all kinds of issues, maxed out my benefits in just one checkup, and I didn’t even get my teeth cleaned or any real work done. Now, since my insurance refused to pay their ridiculous fees, they’re harassing me for payment and acting like they’re doing me a favor by waiving certain charges. I’ve told them multiple times to stop contacting me, but they keep calling and emailing. Be very careful—ask for a full breakdown of all charges before agreeing to anything! I never expected a dental office to be so greedy and pushy. Avoid if you value honesty and transparency.

Fantastic experience: My experience at Swish dental was excellent. Excellent service, excellent care. Dr. Anastasia Compton performed amazing work on my teeth—including a crown. She made me feel comfortable before, during, and after the procedure. She was on time, efficient and kind. The staff was amazing too. From the front desk to Regina-the dental assistant—I received top notch care. Dental care can be scary but not with this group. They answered all my questions and made sure to make me as comfortable as possible—I even watched tv while they worked on my teeth. The office is beautiful and their equipment is state of the art. I recommend Swish Dental and Dr. Compton to anyone.

Negative experience: I was looking for a new dentist after moving back to Hutto. This place had good reviews and was in network. I made an appointment for a cleaning. At my first appointment they did extra testing and imaging, not covered by insurance of course. For my 2nd appointment, that I scheduled the day of my first, they called 15 minutes before the appointment to say their computers and systems weren’t working and would have to cancel. They couldn’t get me in until weeks later. As a teacher, my appointments are scheduled during breaks from school. I book an appointment for MLK day, confirmed via text, then got a text the next day saying they were too booked. Would not recommend.

The dentist and all the staff were great and we will be going back. This is our 4th dentist office in Hutto and we finally found the one we’re sticking with. Thanks to the whole team.

Fantastic experience: Dr Compton and her staff are absolutely amazing! Nydia and Hannah in the front office were so helpful and so wonderful. They all took such great care of me dealing with an old root canal that went bad. I just got my new crown and it fit perfectly and is seamless! I can't even tell it's not a real tooth. I have scheduled my wife and kids to come to Swish and Dr Compton. I cannot recommend them enough!!!! Also, I did not catch her name, but Dr Compton's assistant is equally as wonderful if not more than everyone else. She explained every detail of the procedures as we worked through them!

Fantastic experience: I really enjoyed my dental appointment at Swish Dental in Hutto. It appears to be a new office/location. The staff and Dentists seem up on customer service, hospitality, as well as the latest technology for Dentistry. They did the 3D scan and were able to explain in great detail what was going on with my teeth. I truly appreciated the honesty, sincerity, and knowledge that they gave me. The hygienist was very kind and very knowledgeable as well as she already was able to explain what was going on prior to the Dentist coming and confirming everything. I felt very cared for the entire time, because they forwarned me about some issues with my teeth and like they were being proactive to help me keep my teeth in the healthiest condition. I really like it. I also think the office asthetics is very clean and calm and modern. it reminded me of like being on a tv show from Apple tv. :)

Fantastic experience: Great place nice and awesome helpful ppl. Was in Dallas sitting in my hotel when the pain in my mouth hit me to the point I couldn't deal with it anymore. So I looked up same day emergency dental swish dental in hutto popped up was able to get in the next day and think they have done a awesome job so far. Monday I'll have 2 extractions which I'm sure they'll do awesome at. Swish was fast and like I said got me in there less than 24hrs. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Gavin was a delight and did his best to accommodate my jaw issues while extracting my teeth. He could have made more money by giving me root canals, but he was honest and saved me a great deal of money. Since my jaw only opens so far he had to stand in an uncomfortable manner, but the whole time he kept checking in on my comfort. He is definitely the one to go to for folks with spinal cord issues or connective tissue diseases. He communicated the entire time and watched. The dental hygienists were very nice and so were reception. The prices were very reasonable and everyone there did there best to make a bad situation better. I highly recommend this dentist and swish dental overall. I will be going back for another extraction and future cleaning.

Fantastic experience: My two boys and I just had our consult for Invisiline at Swish Dental in Hutto. Nydia at the front desk is an absolute pleasure to work with and so helpful! Our dentist and assistants took their time to explain the entire process thoroughly and they had all the new technology to show us before and after images so we will be sure to love our new smiles. The dental hygienist the doctor, the dental assistant and young lady who went over my treatment plan with me, , were all amazing. . The entire staff were very welcoming , warm and friendly. It was my first visit as a new patient and they all made me feel comfortable and at ease ,considering I don't like going to the dentist. I had an amazing experience. The clinice is clean and comfortable., well lite and just different in a very good way. For as long as i reside in Texas, Swish dental in Hutto, will be my permanent dental clinic and I will refer them.

Fantastic experience: I went to swish dental because of location. It was literally eight minutes away from my house. They sent a text beforehand to say hey when you arrive, let us know. You’re here. The doors will be opened which I thought was neat and safe walked in the place was clean Smelt good. The staff were friendly. Everyone very attention to details. Explained everything that they were gonna do before they did it very gentle. The doctor came in super friendly. Funny had an amazing time and experience for my first time there I will definitely be going back in the future
